Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Kids for the eARC of Night Night Tyrannosaurus! It was such a cute book to read. It's the perfect bedtime or pre-nap story (or anytime during the day) for children to read with their parents, caregivers, or teachers. It takes you on a journey of saying goodnight to each dinosaur plus providing some facts about each one. However, my understanding is the book will be made as a board book rather than a traditional soft-cover picture book. If so, while I find the unique ways for the children to discover the shapes on the dinosaur, it may not be as obvious for some children. I do appreciate the bold and outlined font for the name of the shape and the example of the shape at the bottom of the page. Night Night Tyrannosaurus is definitely a book for all dinosaur-loving children and shows even the dinosaurs need to sleep to get them ready to do big dinosaur things the next day!

Thank you to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to review this book. I have two big dinosaur fans in my house and they were excited for a new book to read at bedtime. This book was short with cute illustrations. Each page included a fun fact about the dinosaur featured, which my older one loved. I found this took away from the flow of the book, but it was a cute bedtime read.

This was a super cute way to look at shapes in places that you don't think to look for them. It was a little young for my almost six-year-old but he still enjoyed reading it. Definitely a fun bedtime reading.

Night Night Tyrannosaurus by Chris Ferrie is a fun book for children to learn shapes and see them in a more "practical" setting. Practical meaning they could look at a window and say of that is a square or a wheel and say a circle. The book does not just show a shape and name it. (Not practical in the sense that these animals are walking among us.) The illustrations by Melanie Mikecz were beautiful and fun as well. I love all the colour used. I received an eARC from Sourcebooks Kids through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

Cute kids book for bedtime. It’s simple, yet also offers an interesting fact about each dinosaur, which is a great combination for parents and children!

My 4-year-old absolutely loved this book during bedtime! Night Night, Tyrannosaurus by Chris Ferrie was both fun and educational, an ideal combination for young readers. While he already knew some of the dinosaur facts, there were plenty of new ones that sparked curiosity and conversation. It was exciting to see him so engaged and eager to learn even as he was winding down for the night.

One of his favorite parts was the illustrations. The bold colors and creative use of different shapes, like the triangle teeth, made the pages come alive. It added a playful and interactive touch that kept him interested from start to finish.

This book is definitely going on our list to purchase a physical copy for our bedtime rotation. It strikes the perfect balance between calming and captivating, and I can see it becoming a regular favorite.

This was a short and informative read. The author linked simple shapes to facets of dinosaurs and added in interesting facts about the specific dinosaur in question. Dinosaurs are a huge favorite in our house, so this was an instant hit with my kids. They also appreciated how large and colorful the illustrations were as well as linking the referenced shape to the part of the dinosaur it referred to. Overall, this was a win for us.
