A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

The Adventures of the Flash Gang is a thrilling, heartfelt ride through the shadowed streets of 1936 Berlin, where danger lurks around every corner and courage shines brightest when it’s needed most. Lewis Carter and his fiercely loyal best friend Pearl Alice Clavell leap off the page as a pair of brave, quick-witted kids determined to defy the odds and uncover the truth about Lewis's missing father — even when the entire world seems poised against them.
The story shows each hair-raising moment with vivid clarity: the stark menace of swastika flags whipping in the wind, the clatter of hurried footsteps down narrow alleyways, and the whispered plans made under the constant threat of discovery. The setting crackles with tension, yet Lewis and Pearl’s friendship infuses the journey with warmth, humor, and an unstoppable spirit that young readers will adore.
As the pair edges closer to the heart of a dangerous plot that could shift the course of history, every chapter ratchets up the suspense. Pearl’s resourcefulness and Lewis’s street-smart instincts make them a dynamic, unforgettable duo. And the inclusion of the mysterious "Flash" adds just the right dash of intrigue and daring rescue missions to keep readers breathlessly flipping pages.
More than just a gripping adventure, The Adventures of the Flash Gang is a powerful story about loyalty, bravery, and the fight for what’s right, even when the stakes couldn’t be higher. It’s the kind of book that teaches young readers that courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s choosing to do the right thing anyway.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC to review.
This is the third book in a series. It seems fine to read as a stand alone, but reading the previous two wouldn’t hurt either to get to know the characters better.
This was an engaging read, the authors were able to make the characters come alive through the dialogue, and also included a lot of rich vocabulary. Readers will enjoy an adventure, learn about Berlin in 1936, and pick up new vocabulary all at the same time.

this was such a fun read. the interwar era is one of my favourite settings and the authors really bring alive the time in a way that will appeal to younger readers. Lewis and Pearl make a great time, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about their adventures in pre-war Berlin. the side characters were loveable and the villains suitably villainous. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the books in the series.

Well, now I have to go back and read the first two adventures of the Flash Gang. This third book was delightful!
Pearl and Lewis go on an adventure across the globe to rescue Lewis’s father from the Nazis. Along the way they find help in unexpected places, from unexpected people.
The only bummer is that this is only being released in Kindle form in March.
Thank you, Net Gallery, for an ARC of this book!
