FIVE FREAKING STARS for this Why Choose romance! I loved ๐™Ž๐™ค ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ก. I, quite literally, could not put the book down. It is the 2nd book in the ๐™ฑ๐š˜๐šข๐šœ ๐š˜๐š ๐š‚๐š˜๐šž๐š๐š‘ ๐™ฒ๐š‘๐šŠ๐š™๐šŽ๐š• series and my obsession with this series and these characters knows no bounds!

My heart definitely went through it while reading this book. There were moments that absolutely broke my heart, and moments that had me crying happy tears. Everything was so incredibly well done and the heavy topics are handled with great care.

I thoroughly enjoyed the relationship development between each of the MCโ€™s in ๐™Ž๐™ค ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ก. Their dynamic is everything and more. I honestly love every single MC. I could never pick a favorite because I love them all equally. I truly empathized with each of them greatly. Hunter who has gone through such heartbreaking trauma yet her strength and resilience is ever present. Greedy who is still a devoted and kind hearted man although he is struggling deeply with grief and betrayal. Levi who has the gentlest soul and continues to be a peacemaker. Kabir who showed up and shook things up yet he is as steadfast as they come. Theyโ€™re beautifully complex characters and they deserve all the happiness.

๐™Ž๐™ค ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ก is really an AMAZING book. 10/10 recommend! I cannot wait for more. Especially after that ending ๐Ÿคฏ That cliffhanger was wild. I donโ€™t even know what to do with myself while I wait for book three. Not to be dramatic or anything but I need it like I need air to breathe ๐Ÿ˜…

๐ŸŽง I listened to the audiobook of ๐™Ž๐™ค ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ก and was so incredibly impressed by it. The narrators June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, Liam Dicosimo, and Keval Shah portrayed these characters beautifully. I absolutely loved it. It truly enhanced my reading experience.

As always, a phenomenal performance from the full cast! Iโ€™ve read this story several times, and the audio elevates the experience and some of the most heartbreaking moments are even more haunting - and all the love more palpable.

Greedy Ferguson saying โ€œIโ€™m all inโ€ out loud? As if I needed more of a reason to love my man ๐Ÿ˜

Thank you so much to Abby Millsaps and Dreamscape for the opportunity to listen!

#SoWrong and #SoReal (out on the 5th Nov2024) by Abby Millsaps is a 3 โญ๏ธ read.

The stories follows three young teens coming of age in their final year of high school and setting off to college. Times are tested with challenges changing their paths from the dreams they had set out for themselves.

The only side note I have, there is no way for two young people working in a night club, in London to afford a two bedroom place, to live in Mayfair! Some research was needed, as they would need a minimum of ยฃ5000.00 per month just for rent.

I listen to the audio of this book. Book two in the Boys of South Chapel series.
The audio was amazing, and I loved the narrators. They did an amazing job portraying each character really well.

This book was so emotional. We got to read Hunters story of when she disappeared to London after her miscarriage, and the person she met there.
Kabir Spencer, the British billionaire. Oh my, I think Iโ€™m in love ๐Ÿฅต
When he showed up on Hunters doorstep as the cliffhanger in the last book, and couldnโ€™t wait to read this one. And it did not disappoint!
I loved the โ€œthen and nowโ€ aspect in this book. To read about Hunters backstory with Kabir was great, and the compassion and protectiveness he had of her was amazing!

I love Hunter. She really speaks to me, and I feel for her. The emotions in this book were outstanding. I loved the connection she has with Levi, and how supportive he is.
Greedy grew on me this book, and I really enjoyed the growth in all of their relationships.

The cliffhanger has me in a chokehold again, and I canโ€™t wait to read the last book in this series!

I read the book a while back so I already knew that I was going to love the story. But these narrators brought the characters to life for me and made me fall in love even more. Well done.

This is the second book in the Boys of South Chapel series, and itโ€™s not meant to be read as a standalone, it picks up right where the first book leaves off. I loved diving deeper into Hunterโ€™s story, exploring her time in London, and seeing how Kabir becomes part of her world. Watching their relationships shift from a group of three to four added an exciting new layer, and we get to learn a bit more about each character. The narrators did an incredible job capturing each characterโ€™s personality, really bringing them to life. This book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving me eagerly awaiting book three! If you havenโ€™t started this series yet, itโ€™s definitely worth it.

I love that So Real picked up exactly where So Wrong left off. I read a lot of books in a year and often don't always remember what took place in previous books without rereading them or binging the whole series at once. That was not the case with these books! I remembered exactly what took place in So Wrong and the sprinkling of details within So Real was very helpful without feeling like an actual recap of the previous book.

Typically in the second book of a why choose series, I anticipate there to be a lot of relationship and character development with a little bit of plot to keep the story moving along. I would say that's exactly what we got with So Real. There was relationship break down and rebuilding, more in depth background to Hunter's experience while she was away from home and her journey to healing and plenty of exploration in relationship/s3xual dynamics.

Something I wasn't entirely thrilled about is that at 95% in to the second book in the series, we find out there is a whole new man that we have yet to be introduced to and get to know. I would have been happy with the three men already involved and exploring the cliffhanger situation Hunter found herself in without this new love interest. It just seems late in the game to me to be introducing another love interest at this point.

The narration was wonderful. I love that we have three different narrators for the three male love interests. This makes tracking whose POV is being narrated SO much easier without having to think about it. It also helps solidify their individuality in my mind. Sometimes I end up mixing up character traits between love interests in why choose romances and they all meld into each other.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the ALC.

I enjoyed getting to know newest character of the group! Kabir Spencerโ€ฆlove him. We get to see a little more of what happened to Hunter when she left South Chapel. I liked that the author touched on sensitive subjects in this one.

Hunterโ€™s mom! I dislike her so much! I hope we get to see her tell her mom off in then next one! Iโ€™m sick of the mom.

I really hope this final guy is the last guy added to the group. I was honestly fine with the three! Adding a fourthโ€ฆitโ€™s getting crowded.

The narrators were phenomenal yet again! Spencerโ€™s narrator was perfect! I loved the accent!

There is a cliff hanger so be aware.

This audio reread was everything. Something about hearing the emotions instead of just reading them really makes the story hit harder. Hunter's story is by far one of the most emotional I've read. I loved hearing Kabir ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต

Excited to continue this series and do audio rereads.

Dummy me, I am finished with the book, just noticed it was book #2. It has a heck of a cliff hanger. Now that I am thoroughly sucked in on the story now, I'm going to have to read the others. This is the first series all year I have gotten into.

Many thanks to Net Galley and Dreamscape Select for an audio ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Goodness Gracious. Abby Millsaps did it again. This series has me in a chokehold and I'm left with another cliffhanger that is going to keep me dangling and chomping at the bit for the next piece.

So Real picks right up where So Wrong ended and let me just say that Kabir is what book boyfriends are made of. I mean all of these men are delightful, but the care and attention that he shows Hunter through her trauma, her mental breakdown, and the entire story is just incredible and this book captured it in a deep and meaningful way that was so impressive.

The character development here is wonderful, the back and forth and give and take were great and goodness, this book was so.dang.hot. Like, I'm confident I may have just read THE singular hottest spicy scene ever. I know that scene is going to stick with me for a long, long time.

The audio narrators did an incredible job voicing each of these characters and it was so good that I listened to the whole thing in one sitting.

This book made me uncomfortable and I donโ€™t know why. Not in a triggering way as I never get triggered by books and this was no exception. But in an โ€œickโ€ type way at times with the language used. It doesnโ€™t sit right with me as itโ€™s not conveying the feeling I think the author was going for. And it made it worse to have it narrated to me.

There were also topics that come up that o just donโ€™t think belonged like taking about her period. I donโ€™t care about it being talked about it just didnโ€™t seemed to fit.

Anyway, I am thankful to have gotten an audio ALC for free from Netgalley and Dreamscape Media to enjoy which gave me the opportunity to voluntarily leave a review.

Overall I enjoyed the book.. however o did not like the narrators. When they used their natural voices it was fine and it was well paced. However when all three of them did other voices it just sounded awful to me. But thatโ€™s my personal opinion!

I enjoyed the mental health exploration and the relationships they all have. Although Iโ€™m
Not a fan of step brother/sister tropes.

Anyone this book is a lot. You need to be ok with BDSM, why choose type themes because if youโ€™re not, this book isnโ€™t for you.

The book comes out on Nov 5th 2024 so get it on your TBR if you want to spice things up!
My rating system since GoodReads doesnโ€™t have partial stars and I rarely round up.

3..5โญ๏ธThis was cruel! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ I listened to this way too quickly and now we have another major cliffhanger of course!! Could this be one big book instead of 3? I feel like it could.

Also my faith in Hunter is beginning to waver. I liked Hunter a lot in the Boys of Chapel series as Josephineโ€™s friend and I get that she is hurting but the self sabotage and drama is starting to get old to me.

The plot might be getting to me, but donโ€™t worry, the spice was spicing again.
I wasnโ€™t sure about Sabir when I put away So wrong, but I see you sir! ๐ŸฅตThat hot tub scene will live in my head for a while.

โ€œIs it all I am allowed to do watch?โ€
Spence letโ€™s out a surprised chuckle.
โ€œCaptain America wants to play.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Letโ€™s be honest, I am sticking around to see how it ends and for Greedy. He is still my guy. The library he filled for her! ๐ŸฅนHeโ€™s too good for them.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced listening copy. All my opinions are my own.

I wanted to love it, I loved So Wrong. It was so well done and so good. But this one was just a big no for me. Hunter was making the worst decisions. Kabir/Spence just nope, I didn't like him at all, the degradation honestly was disgusting to me. Greedy is the only good character in here that has good intentions and that I just want to pull out of this book.

This book is just too much smut and filth for me, I was expecting something like the first book, but this is too much, I can handle a why choose but this girl is just confused. It didn't work for me. I'm curious for the last book, because of the cliffhanger but I'm unsure if I will continue the series.

I went in with high expectations, and Abby Millsaps delivered beyond what I could have hoped for! Kabir "Spence" Spencer, with his British charm and billionaire appeal, swept me off my feet right from the start. What was supposed to be "nothing more" quickly turned into an unforgettable rollercoaster of passion, healing, and complicated relationships. The build up, the spice and the tension, especially with the tangled web of Hunter and her men, made the audiobook impossible to put down.

The narrators (June DeBorahae; J. River Pierce; Liam Dicosimo; Keval Shah) captured each moment perfectly, blending steam and emotions in a way that kept me totally hooked. If you're a fan of second-chance why-choose romances that know how to turn up the heat, So Real is one you won't want to miss! Iโ€™m already counting down the days until the next book is released!

๐ŸฅตThe audiobook for this book was so wickedly spicy and I freaking ATE. IT. UP.

I HIGHLY recommend listening to it even if youโ€™ve already read the book!

Hunter and her men continue their story right where book 1 ended. This book is full of a lot of heartbreaking moments that Hunter went through. Please make sure to read the trigger warnings before reading this story! All of the sensitive topics were handled with extreme care by the author.

Without spoiling anything, I loved that during Hunterโ€™s lowest points in her past and future, the men around her stepped up to help her. Levi is still the sweetest, Greedy is still healing from their past, and now we meet Kabir โ€˜Spenceโ€™. Spence is hands down my favorite in the harem so far! He is definitely a โ€˜daddy domโ€™ and I freaking LOVED how the other guys developed unique friendships/relationships with him. There are growing pains, but each one of the guys just want to keep Hunter safe and happy.

The group dynamic towards the end is literally so hot itโ€™s going to melt your brain. Youโ€™ll see Greedy in a whole new light. There is a โ€œ๐˜›๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ฉ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆโ€ me moment that is SO FREAKING GOOD. Spence โ€˜Kabirโ€™, is something else. ๐Ÿฅต

You are going to smile, laugh and cry while reading this story! Itโ€™s okay, we are all in this together.

This story leaves off on another HUGE cliffhanger so just be prepared. The next book comes out so soon though!

So Real is book 2 in the Boys of South Chapel Series and is not a standalone. With that said, it was a shocking sequel to So Wrong, and I loved every word of it!

So Wrong ended on a cliffhanger, and this one picked up right where it left off! There were twists in this book that I didn't see coming, leaving me with wide eyes and mouth wide open! Like all of Abby Millsaps' books, it was so written perfectly!

I actually listened to the audio of this book, and I must say it definitely brought the characters to life! June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, Liam Dicosimo, and Keval Shah did an amazing job narrating! I can't wait to see what happens in So Rare!

Absolutely LOVE this audio - the narration by June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, Liam Dicosimo, & Keval Shah really brings to life this story.

This story reels me in, takes me on an emotional rollercoaster, and leaves me hanging once again. I absolutely loved the continuation of Hunter's story - we get more background on her time after leaving home and her stay in London. That's how she met Spence (Kabir) - the man who barrelled into the house at the end of Book 1. Their dynamic brings something new to the group, as revelations of why she left come out.

Greedy in particular gets an emotional beatdown in this book - learning about his shared past with Hunter. His relationship with Hunter has very low lows and then comes to a new high. His love for her has no bounds and it is put to the test here. My heart hurt for him but loved how his story evolved here.

This book takes the spice from the first one up to another scale altogether. Spence and Hunter practice a consensual dom/sub relationship and introduce Levi & Greedy to their dynamic. There is a lot of praise and degradation that gets introduced but it is done in a very careful way. Spence loves Hunter and understands her in a way that Levi & Greedy don't. His openness also makes room for Levi to explore his own sexuality and seeing their relationship develop brought another aspect to this story that I loved.

Hunter's struggles with mental health are at the center of this book. The delicate way her struggles are pictured had my heart aching and I think it gives another level of understanding of her character. Her love for these three men and the different needs they fulfill are at the heart of this story. I am itching for the next book where I think we will get introduced to her fourth love and also figure out the mystery that book 2 ended on.

So rare

Picking up right where So Wrong ended- this why choose book enters a new character, Kabir Spencer.

The group goes through how to function together living in Hunterโ€™s estranged motherโ€™s cabin.

My heart breaks over and over for Greedy. Hunter has her moments with each guy here, and of course they have their moments together. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ itโ€™s hard to give any more of a review without spoilers but read those trigger warnings pal because whew !!!

There was so much about this book that made me cringe and wasnโ€™t my style taking it a bit too far. But am I completely invested now in every characters future and will continue the series? Absolutely.

Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan audio for the ALC in exchange for an honest review.
