This is such an incredibly good book, beautifully presented and very well written. The recipes are mouth watering!

I never considered myself much of a baker, far preferring to cook, until I got this cookbook. Now I am baking 2 to 3 times a week, because my goal is to bake absolutely every recipe in this book. This book is outstanding! Ovenly, New York’s award-winning bakery is known around the world for their decadent baked goods. This cookbook contains recipes for some of their most popular offerings, one better than the other. If the pictures on their own don’t draw you in then the engaging text will. The tips and anecdotes are very useful. This is no ordinary baking book. There are sweet and savory treats alike, as well as unique combinations and unusual offerings. The Feta, Basil, and Scallion Muffins are one of my favorite treats. It kicks the average dinner roll to the curb. I also love the Hot Chocolate Cookies. So good!

This book is going to have you excited about baking. Basically, everything is pretty straightforward so even someone unfamiliar in the kitchen will find things doable. There are a few ingredients that might not be particularly easy to find, and certainly are not pantry staples, but it’s well worth the search to find them.

Decent recipes, some of them look wonderful and will definitely make them. But...I give question when something says you can cook from your pantry and then require weird ingredients that I can't even find much less already have in my pantry. Lardons?
