Spirit Agents is a pulse-pounding, masterfully woven blend of political intrigue, psychic suspense, and heart-stopping action that will leave readers breathless. From the first page, the tension crackles — the once-invincible Vanderwink dynasty is crumbling from within, and the fate of the world teeters on the edge of annihilation.

Hailey Shepherd and Amber Knight are fierce, unforgettable heroines whose psychic gifts make them humanity’s last line of defense. Every step of their investigation shows the danger rising — the icy echo of footsteps down secret corridors, coded messages hidden within the walls of power, and the sickening realization that betrayal seeps even into the Queen’s inner sanctum. Their race against time is taut with suspense, and each psychic vision they endure feels like a shard of truth tearing through a web of lies.

The world-building is rich and cinematic, layering the grandeur of a royal empire with the creeping horror of unseen spiritual forces. The stakes aren’t just high — they are colossal, giving every twist, revelation, and betrayal the weight of an impending catastrophe. Hailey and Amber’s bond, marked by loyalty, bravery, and flashes of raw vulnerability, keeps the emotional core strong even as the world spirals toward chaos.

Spirit Agents is more than a thriller — it’s a battle for the soul of a world at its breaking point, a dazzling collision of supernatural powers and human determination.

Definitely looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Spirit Agents is such a fun and amazing read! 🥹💜 I loved how fast-paced it was with the short chapters and all the major plot twists throughout. I read the whole thing in one sitting and I couldn't put the book down. It's set in a dystopian world and has a mixture of fantasy, science-fiction and spies and I truly enjoyed reading this! 🫶

Humanity lived under the Vanderwink royal family's reign, the most powerful people on Earth and ruled the entire world. But the Queen is in danger as several people in the royal family diabolically planned a plot to assassinate the Queen. Hailey Shepherd and Amber Knight as spirit agents try to find out the secret behind it and protect The Queen along the way. In desperation against time, they use their psychic powers to uncover all the conspirators, otherwise the Earth will be doomed in the Devil's hands.
Paranormal combined with Sci-Fi with a little bit of Fantasy as the blanket. There are so many political affairs in mafia mode in the story, even though it represents a kingdom. As for the story vibe, it is a man in Black action adventure with paranormal mafia affairs. The story itself is happening so fast but still in a proper way because the plot inquired so many actions, combat fighting. The weapon that is being used is a modern weapon with a Sci-Fi touch.
Actually, I’m confused about the statement in the book that says from a real event. Is it saying the story represents a real-life world circumstance? Or a person's real life story? I’m really confused…
To be honest, I could suggest and predict who is the mastermind behind everything that happens in the story. Well beside those of my previous opinion, this book is still enjoyable and fun to read.

🌟🌟🌟.5 [3.5]

An espionage story with angels, demons, and humans—what's not to love? The action is non-stop; every chapter throws you right into the thick of it. Amber and Hailey are fantastic leads – a truly unstoppable team, fiercely loyal and incredibly compelling. The fast-paced dialogue keeps you glued to the pages, though the writing style felt like it focused more on conversation than description since the dialogue bounced back and forth seamlessly, which could be a dealbreaker for others, but I really enjoyed it. The action scenes were obviously more descriptive but more so on straightforward than flowery writing. A little problem when it comes to a back and forth dialogue is establishing a voice for each character. I felt that the characters sometimes sounded pretty similar to each other and the things they say sounded a bit out of character at times, possibly due to the book's shorter length, meaning we didn't get as much time with them as I'd have liked to establish their own personalities. But honestly, the core idea is brilliant, and I flew through the whole book. I would love a sequel to delve deeper into the complex politics between angels, demons and humans, and to explore the world and psychic power system.

Overall, this book was fun and action packed, and I'd love to see more.

The prologue was fast and engaging, hooking me right from the start. The book overall was a fun and thrilling read. The cover and blurb gave me a sense of nostalgia, reminding me of the types of books I loved selecting as a teen.

Hailey and Amber are super badass female characters. They are strong, logical, and incredibly capable, which made them so enjoyable to follow throughout the story.

While I enjoyed the fast pace and found it easy to read in a day, I would have liked more information about the world. For example, why was the world at war? A little more backstory would have added depth to the already intriguing premise.

The twists were enjoyable, and I think this series has a strong foundation for amazing future installments. The mix of psychic powers, high-stakes intrigue, and hidden conspiracies kept me entertained throughout.

If you're looking for a quick, action-packed read with strong female leads and a touch of mystery, this book delivers.
