Not going to lie, when I first started this book, I was worried the hype had faded. The beginning felt slow, mostly focused on romance and smut, which I didn’t mind because I love Phoebe and Rocky. But honestly, my main thought was just, “Okay, that’s nice, but that’s it.” I wasn’t super excited, just kind of going with the flow.

But wow, I should have never doubted Krista and Becca Ritchie! This book totally turned things around for me. The main romance? Incredible, as expected. But the side romance? Oh my god, it absolutely stole the show. The love triangle is everything, and I’m already hoping for new POVs in the next book because I need more of this drama. Not going to lie, I’m crossing my fingers for a throuple.

And just when I thought the romance was the best part, the plot took a turn I did not see coming. The mystery and twists were insane—I was literally sitting there, jaw on the floor, in public, when I finished. And all the stuff we start learning about the past? Completely mind-blowing.

This book surprised me in the best way. It started off as “just okay” but ended as one of my favorites. Now, I’m ridiculously excited to see what happens next!

After finishing Dishonestly Yours, I couldn’t wait for the next book in the series and was so excited to get the chance to read Destructively Mine.

Destructively Mine does an amazing job providing more backstory of the relationship between Phoebe and Rocky. I especially loved the jumps back in time where we got to see how their relationship developed.

I really enjoyed reading this one! I did find it a little predictable, but I adored all the characters! Rocky and Phoebe have amazing chemistry and even though it’s book 2, I was still hooked on wanting them to be together every scene LOL. I’d like it more if it was less wordy because it kind of dragged and felt like there was pointless scenes. I am curious about where the story will go with the next one.

I really liked this one! Just not as much as the first book. The first book had me dying to know what was going on every chapter, this one I would go a few days without reading BUT would still be excited to get back into it. I still love all the main characters and can't wait for book 3!

I really didn't care for the first book but wanted to give this one a try. The library will get all the books they write just because of the fan base but I am happy to say this book was a lot better!

Destructively Mine begins right where the first book ended. It had me hooked from the very start. The storyline continued to be interesting and unique. This time around it kept me even more on edge. There was so much going on with the mystery as well as the other activities the characters were involved in. It was almost too much for me at times, but I pushed through because I HAD to know what was going to happen and what would be revealed. I also loved that Phoebe and Rocky were once again the narrators. These two were made for each other and their love was palpable. They had so many great moments together and with their friends and family. Their yearning to be with each other could have easily been the entire story, but I'm glad it wasn't. Their friends and family also had a lot going on. Hailey's storyline took a turn I wasn't expecting, and it is one I'm a little nervous about. The rest of the guys had me a little worried, too. I would love to say more about what was going on with them, but I don't want to give away any of the excitement. I'll just say it was fun and stressful to be back in the small coastal town with everything it was hiding. The twist and turns this book made surprised me when I was least expecting it. And that cliffhanger... I need the next book NOW. I know this was a jumbled mess of a review, but I'm still processing everything that happened and feeling like there is something I missed along the way.

I'm addicted! I love the characters in this series. We've delved more into the cons and the overall relationship dynamics of the families. Rocky and Phoebe.....phew girl. Why aren't more people talking about this series??

DESTRUCTIVELY MINE 🍓🕷️🌸

I finished this absolutely insane book last night & guys…MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR. Krista & Becca DO NOT MISS. This book is the wildest ride and I cannot wait for you all to read it.

You all know my intense love for Dishonestly Yours but truly, it’s just setting up for this book. It perfectly sets the scene for the events of this book & I’m absolutely obsessed with how intentional KBR were with each and every moment & detail ✨

Dishonestly Yours walked so that Destructively Mine could RUN. And boy did it run. 🍓🍓🍓

This book is filled to the brim with action yet filled with so many sweet and tender moments. It’s a wild & mysterious ride wrapped up in the found family, sibling love, and childhood friends to lovers that Krista & Becca do so well.

AND NOW I can’t wait to go back and reread DY to see all of the seeds that were planted for me to find in DM.

make sure you add this baby to your TBR, preorder, & get ready to go back to Victoria, CT to live your Mystic Pizza life on 04/29 !!!🥂🍕

I have been eagerly awaiting this book after the ending of Dishonestly Yours and was so excited to receive an ARC. Destructively Mine continues on with Rocky and Phoebe’s romance, and the overall con-artist plot that we see begin to develop in Dishonestly Yours, while also diving into the other characters in their family so that we get to know them and understand their relationships with each other more.

It's hard to review this one without a ton of spoilers from it or book one, so I'll keep it brief! I enjoyed all the twists and turns that the story took and it kept me on my toes, but this book has a LOT going on in it. At times it felt a little disjointed because so much was happening, but it really amped up and came together in the last quarter of the book. My jaw was dropped when I realized I was done and there wasn't any more to read!!!

Thank you to Berkley for the ARC! I'm so excited to see where this series goes next.

Someone needs to study the writing of these two because what sorcery are they using?! They have me absolutleu GLUED to the pages,.this was fantastic (I think I like it more than the first book) it's spicier and with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, loved it!.I'm completely invested in these characters, can't wait for the next book!

When I was approved for this ARC I hadn’t yet read book 1 so I made that a priority and got busy for preparation of book 2! I really enjoyed this series and I loved where this book took after book 1. The covers for this series are both fantastic and where ultimately what drove me to want to read this.

I think I enjoyed this book even more than book 1. During this book it flips between past and present and I thought the authors did a good job making that work. I did feel it was slow at times but still enjoyable. This was a really fun series!

Thank you to @netgalley and @berkleypub for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC!

I loved this probably more than Dishonestly Yours. This is another series where I'm invested in these characters. 🫠❤️ Krista and Becca Ritchie can do wrong, imo. I eat up whatever they write.

These character building from Krista and Becca Ritchie is phenomenal. I'm usually stuck on one set of characters, but this series has me invested in all of them equally.

This book picks up where Dishonestly Yours leaves off. Destructively Yours is Phoebe and Rocky's pov and delves into their backstory of the dynamics and relationships between them as well as their families of the Tinrock's and Graves. It alternates between present and past. These two families have been running cons on others all their lives. This book picks up with Phoebe and Jake's fake relationship and continuing on with trying to figure out what Hailey and Phoebe's mothers want and why they're in town, and just who their mothers and fathers are to the group. Yes, we get DNA results. The group also sets out to pull a con. I'm keeping it shirt and sweet because I don't want to give away any spoilers. Hailey and Phoebe's friendship is so sweet. It just makes me want to cry. It's literally friendship goals. We see so much into all the Hailey and Phoebe's brothers' personal lives and just who everyone really is in this book. I love the relationship between Jake and Rocky, too. The mystery , love, friendship, and adventure in this book has me fully invested and in love with everyone in this series.

This book gives us all the answers we want and are looking for in book one.

Thank you Netgalley and Berkley Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. Expected release date April 29, 2025

Dishonestly Yours was one of my top reads of this year, but Destructively Mine exceeded every single expectation I had. Krista and Becca’ writing is so incredibly unique in the way it keeps you GLUED to each page. It is truly all consuming and I feel like I am watching a tv show when I am reading their books. They spend so much time building these amazing characters that as you’re reading you feel as if you know them in real life. This book had every single thing I love about a KBR book: found family, tension, secrets, angst, plot twists that keep you on the edge of your seat, top tier spice, and the incredible feeling you are a part of a different world while you are reading. I was so excited to explore not only more of Phoebe and Rocky, but also more of Victoria and their families, and my god did Krista and Becca deliver. Destructively Mine made me feel every single emotion, and it reminded me exactly why I love reading. It’s because of books like this and the worlds they have created. Without spoiling anything since this is a very connected series, I will say you need to read this book and book one if you haven’t yet. Not only is the premise of the book one of the most unique I have seen published, but in true KBR fashion it makes you feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourself.

I’m a little mad at myself I didn’t save this book closer to release day because it WAS SO GOOD and idk how I can handle not having book 3 after that cliffhanger !!

the twist and turns this book had literally had me at the edge of my seat. I was so shocked and honestly so desperate to know what comes next . I need book 3 like I need air.

I loved Rocky and Phoebe & I will say this book is spicier!! Kbr had me blushing so hard 🤭

Thank you so much to Berkley for the earc 😘💚💚

Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for the ARC!

Krista and Becca Ritchie can’t write a bad book. Dishonestly Yours was an absolute banger of a book, and Destructively Mine is no different. If you love the found family aspect that we see from KBR in the Addicted/Calloway series, you will love the Webs We Weave series.

Destructively Mine continues on with Rocky and Phoebe’s love story, and the overall con-artist plot that we see develop in Dishonestly Yours. Boy, does it take you for a RIDE.

First and foremost, I love Rocky and Phoebe so much. These two characters are so well-done and so complex, their depth is so good. They are actually perfect for each other and I loved getting to see more of them romantically in this one. Their chemistry is unreal, the tension is palpable, and the smut is soso good. On top of that, the love, trust, and safety that these two share is so beautiful. It makes me want to cry. I love them.

The overall plot of this one is insane. The twists that are revealed, especially in the last half of the book, had me GASPING and my jaw on the floor. I couldn't put this book down. I absolutely love the dark twist that Krista and Becca took with this series. I adore the found family aspect, the “ride or die” mentality that these characters share with each other, and the overall depth this group has. It is all just so good and so well-done.

There truly isn’t much I can say without spoiling anything, but just know i LOVED this one and cannot wait to see where this story goes.

There were parts of this that I enjoyed. But for the most part, the setting was boring and the lack of plot made this book difficult for me to get through. This was disappointing because I had higher hopes for this series and I enjoyed the first book. Thanks so much to Berkely for the opportunity to read this early.

I was very blessed to get an ARC of Destructively Mine and holy. Shit. I had the MOST fun reading this!! I LOVED it. This book was so perfectly crafted and written. A beautifully and intricately woven web of history, relationships and lies. It did so so so much so well. Like the brewing bromance between Rocky and Jake, how deep it went into the other members of the family and their dynamics with one another, the plot. Rocky and Phoebe being in love and settling into their relationship 🥹🥹. I loved delving deep into the other characters and their histories, relationships and dynamics. It's KBRs signature found family but yet so unique and interesting. I was on the edge of my seat, jaw gaping like every couple chapters. The world and feeling they've created is so addictive. The plot is thrilling and full of twists and turns that leave you desperate to see how it all connects. I felt everything while reading, I laughed, I screamed, I cried, I swooned and by the end of it all I was craving more. It's fantastically plotted and structured. The characters are so real, interesting, loveable and funny. It's perfect. Once again, KBR have hit it out of the park so far the ball hit the moon. I'm so obsessed and I cannot wait for the next one.

This was good but not great. I am more invested in the con artist side of things rather than the romance, but this was more romance heavy. I wish we spent less time on spice and more time on the plot. It felt pretty filler heavy and like it didn’t need to be its own whole book. All that being said I did still really enjoy it. I feel like I can picture everything so clearly which is normally hard for me to do and I really hope that Hailey ends up getting a book because there is a love triangle I am actually really invested in. I will 100% be continuing this series, the mystery is just too good, just wish it was a bit quicker paced.

I absolutely adored this story. I am going to need all of Ritchie’s books asap. I was completely sucked in after reading Book 1 and now I just want more a more. Phoebe and Rocky are one of my favorite non-fantasy book couples. There are so many twists and turns in this hook, and I lapped it up greedily. I stayed up way too late the past few nights for just one more chapter. This was such a great plot and I am sad I finished this one so quickly.
