This was one of my most anticipated books of the year and it didn't disappoint. I loved the pacing of the story. I loved getting flashbacks of Phoebe and Rocky's relationship. Their dynamic was completely different. I loved the character growth between the two. They came a long way. In this twisted web of secrets the truths are finally revealed and were done so well. We finally get answers!!! I was shocked and so surprised. I also loved the new development of possible new relationships. I'm curious how these relationships will play out in the next book. Destructively Mine was a wild ride filled with lies, truths and so much love. It was exhilarating, mysterious and kept me engrossed the entire time. I highly recommend this series!

soooo happy to be back in this universe! i love this friend group so soooo much! i’m just in awe at the way krista and becca expertly create such strong, tight-knit familial bonds that feel so real and unbreakable! i love that everyone is so uniquely themselves and each play an indispensable role to one other.

the cliffhanger from book one definitely had me sat for book 2 and in desperate need of some answers! and of course, KBR delivered with all the twists and turns, slowly and deliciously unfolding this story,—revealing secrets, dropping bombs, unveiling lies, surfacing people from the past, questioning loyalties, betrayal threatening their lives, tension and emotions running at an all time high— it was all so good and kept me on the edge of my seat!

the continued evolution of pheobe and rocky’s relationship was everything!!! i love their juicy dynamic— it’s unlike any other! both of them perfectly depict the definition of a true RIDE OR DIE and there’s absolutely zero doubt that their relationship could last multiple lifetimes!

i do think some parts were very slow and it read a little too long but i hung on to every word and had a time!!!

and that ending??? i need book 3 ASAP!!!

I AM UNWELL!
I swear no one can write a story with such strong bonds and connections between characters like Krista and Becca. Whenever I’m reading something written by them, I’m not only falling in love with the main FMC and MMC, but I’m also equally in love with and invested in the side characters

Destructively Mine picks up right where Dishonestly Yours left off, and after the cliffhanger we were left on, it’s safe to say I was well and truly hooked on this one from start to finish, I NEEDED answers and well this delivered them and SO much more!

In Dishonestly Yours were just getting a taste of Pheobe and Rocky’s relationship, but in Destructively Mine?? Well, let's just say their romance and connection are burning brighter than ever before and filled with so much angst. It's truly all-consuming and beautiful to read about
It's hard to express how much I loved with book without giving away spoilers because, oh my gosh it just gets better and better. If you haven't read this series yet, you have to ASAP! If you're like me and get overly obsessed with fictional characters and their lives, this one is for you.

Destructively Mine continues on with Rocky and Phoebe's love story, and the overall con-artist plot that we see develop in Dishonestly Yours. Boy, does it take you for a RIDE.
First and foremost, I love Rocky and Phoebe so much.
These two characters are so well-done and so complex, their depth is so good. They are actually perfect for each other and I loved getting to see more of them romantically in this one. Their chemistry is unreal, the tension is palpable, and the smut is soso good. On top of that, the love, trust, and satety that these two share is so beautiful. It makes me want to cry. I love them.
The overall plot of this one is insane. The twists that are revealed, especially in the last half of the book, had me GASPING and my jaw on the floor. I couldn't put this book down. I absolutely love the dark twist that Krista and Becca took with this series. I adore the found family aspect, the "ride or die" mentality that these characters share with each other, and the overall depth this group has. It is all just so good and so well-done.

This book was a little slow getting out of the gate, but I loved getting to know our merry band of grifters more in this second installment. Once I got into the last third of the book, the story really took off for me and I could not put it down. This story really helped to humanize all of the Graves and Tinrocks and allowed me to really root for all of them to succeed which is something I was still kind of questioning at the end of the first book. Overall, I really love this story and am dying for book three already!

ahhh i love this one! i think i may have liked it better than the first one because i was more invested with the characters since i know more about them. i loved phoebe and rocky even more in this one and i can’t wait to read more about them! i loved getting to see everyone’s relationships evolve. platonically and romantically. the found family is amazing. i love everyone and their dynamics. i also love rocky. he reminds me so much of loren hale who will always be my number 1 book boyfriend. sassy sarcastic men>>>. but sometimes he can be a little much so he’s not exactly the same as loren haha (i don’t think anyone will beat loren tbh) the twists and turns in this one were also so good! i can’t wait to read the next one. i need it!

i liked phoebe and rocky together and getting to see them still be together while she’s fake dating jake. i also love how jake wasn’t phased by this and didn’t cross any lines with phoebe bc of this. i love that he got added into their dynamic. i don’t know who i ship hailey with more in this one but im so invested in them.

Thank you to @valentine_pr_ for the arc!

I feel like this one was slightly less captivating as the first one. Like watching a tv show and it was one of the lesser viewed seasons. But the investment in the characters really pulled me through because I do adore them so much. We got a lot of answers in this book, and it was significantly slower paced in plot but not smut. I loved seeing Phoebe and Rocky finally together but Oliver stole the show the whole book for me. I loved seeing Phoebe that man with my whole heart

I fear the first one was a lot better, but I definitely still enjoyed!! I am excited for the rest of the series.

A band of grifters, a family of secrets, and cons upon cons as the story picks up after the first book and the daughter of a con artist and her friends must unravel the tangled web of their latest con. Phoebe Graves has spent her life as a con artist and after finally getting together with her childhood crush and fellow con artist, Brayden "Rocky" Tinrock, they've decided to finally end her fake relationship with Jake Waterford, son of a influential and wealthy family, so they can be together.. only things get complicated when Jake refuses to break up for his own reasons and Phoebe's mother shows up with her own agenda and plans to matchmake Phoebe. Meanwhile Phoebe's best friend, Hailey is spiraling herself and Phoebe is doing everything she can to help her.. while keeping the secret that she's dating Hailey's older brother a secret from her. All Phoebe and Rocky want to do is finally be together... but with everything going on in their lives and all their own dark family secrets and lies... can they survive? This is the second book in a series and definitely has to be read in order and I can't wait for the next book. I adore the relationship between Brayden and Phoebe so much in this book. Their romance is only ramping up and I can't wait to see more of it in the next book!

*Spoilers: Phoebe and Brayden are together, Hailey is in a relationship with both Jake and Oliver (while also suffering from insomnia and something else that is untreated), they all find out that their "parents" have been hiding major secrets ( Phoebe, Nova, and Oliver are siblings and their real father is a member of a group that is bad who betrayed their current parents while Hailey and Brayden are real siblings but Trevor is an adopted sibling). Trevor kills Jake's grandmother to solve their problems.

One of the best books I've read this year!!! Has all the elements i look for. Romance, mystery, suspense. The sizzling chemistry between Rocky and Phoebe, my heart couldn't take it! I loved the plot twists and the characters of this book. I can't wait for the third and final book to come out.

Pretty much a perfect book 2, the energy was the same high throughout, there were so many wholesome found family scenes, they resolved old mysteries and started new ones, and Phoebe and Rocky were EVERYTHING

When I read book 1, I couldnt get enough and anxiously waited for book 2. In Destructively Mine, we get more of Phoebe and Rocky, Jake becomes a more integral part of the group, and we get some answers to questions from the first book. I did feel like there was something missing... maybe a little bit of a disconnect and that could definitely be a me thing. overall I enjoyed book 2 though, and look forward to seeing where this series goes from here.

DESTRUCTIVELY MINE is the second instalment in the contemporary, adult WEBS WE WEAVE erotic, romance series co-authored by Krista and Becca Ritchie. DISTRUCTIVELY MINE focuses on twenty-four year old Phoebe Graves, her best friend Hailey Tinrock, and twenty-seven year old, Brayden ‘Rocky’ Tinrock. DESTRUCTIVELY MINE should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the cliff hanger of book one DISHONESTLY YOURS.

SOME BACKGROUND: The Graves and the Tinrocks are a family of grifters, several generations of con men, women and children but Hailey Tinrock claims she wants a new start following a con that went wrong, taking her brothers Rocky and Trevor, and her best friend Phoebe, and Phoebe’s siblings Nova and Oliver along for the ride but Rocky is unaware of what happened or why, and their pasts are about to land in Victoria Connecticut demanding reparations for secrets and lies.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Rocky and Phoebe) using present day and memories from the past, DESTRUCTIVELY MINE picks up immediately after the events of book one in which the uber-rich of Victoria, Connecticut are taking aim at the Tinrock and Graves’ families, and the reappearance of their mothers Addison and Elizabeth sets into motion more lies and betrayal. All is not as it appears to be, and as Hailey begins a deep dive into the family history, someone else is targeting the siblings and friends. In an effort to keep up appearances, Phoebe and rich-kid Jake Waterford begin a fake relationship, a relationship in which Jake is hoping to take down the people he blames for destroying his life, while Rocky stands guard over the woman he loves.

The world building continues to be detailed and complex; elaborate and twisted. The small but wealthy town of Victoria Connecticut holds the answers to many of siblings’ questions but the results may not be the answers they want to hear.

There are several developing and ongoing relationships playing out throughout the story line premise including the impassioned affair between Phoebe and Rocky. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

All of the previous story line characters return including Nova and Oliver Graves, Trevor and Hailey Tinrock, Jake Waterford, Addison and Everett Tinrock, and Elizabeth Graves; Jake’s brother Trent, and their mother Claudia.

DESTRUCTIVELY MINE is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family and relationships, obsession and intimidation. The premise is dramatic, edgy and tragic-if you are a fan of K&B Ritchie, you will recognize many familiar scenarios and similarities to their Addicted Series. The characters are broken and struggling. DESTRUCTIVELY MINE ends on a happily ever after-for now.

Destructively Mine was an enjoyable follow up in the Webs We Weave series. There were surprising revelations, a passionate budding romance, new friendships, and unexpected twists.

This is the second book in the series and picks up immediately after the first, so I would recommend reading the series in order.

It’s dual POVs of the main characters, Phoebe and Rocky, and there are some great tropes like fake dating, found family, boy obsessed, and best friends brother.

The overall premise was great. There were a lot of secrets from the first book that were revealed that led to some very interesting moments. I did enjoy how the mystery behind their past slowly unfolded. There were also some amusing, heartfelt and intense moments.

I will say though, the pacing was very slow and there were a lot of time jumps that made the story feel disjointed at times.

One of my favorite aspects though, was all the side characters in the grifter group. They each had such interesting and complex storylines. Everyone in the group had their own roles and how that played out throughout the story was amazing. They were all very much morally gray characters and I would have loved some of their POVs.

The romance between the main characters definitely took center stage in this book. I just loved how there was still some angst between them. Their chemistry and love for one another was truly remarkable. The spice was passionate and all consuming as well.

The last few chapters definitely had me on the edge of my seat and while this book doesn’t end on a major cliffhanger, I’m still dying for the next book.

Overall, just a great read that’s filled with drama, romance and secrets.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

With the way Dishonestly Yours ended, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this!! I was dying for more electric moments between Phoebe and Rocky and Krista & Becca definitely delivered. They were so cute together. I loved how even though they still had to hide, they communicated and prioritized each other. And if I thought Rocky was possessive in book one, it’s nothing compared to how he was in this. He would do literally anything to protect Phoebe.

I also enjoyed getting to know more about the whole group. The found family aspect in this series has been top-tier.
I don’t want to give too much away because SO much happens in this book but it truly has everything from sweet moments to jaw dropping ones. All of the twists and turns felt like quite the ride, it was hard to wrap my head around everything once it ended!
I can’t wait to see how everything plays out in book three.

Destructively Mine was everything I wanted it to be. I devoured Dishonestly Yours and jumped right into this one. A series about two families of con artists? I’m so in. I love the world of the Graves and the Tinrocks, and how each family member has their part to play in the con. It was so much fun to be a fly on the wall and see how everything got planned and how they pull their schemes and deceptions off. Every single character in this book is complex, and I’m invested in all of them. But I’m obsessed with Rocky. The man could ruin my life, and I’d ask for more. He’s grumpy, protective, possessive, dangerous, morally grey, a little unhinged, and will do anything for the people he loves. This book is such a good time. It’s funny, suspenseful, filled with drama, lies, secrets, and betrayals, and has the best romance ever. I can’t recommend it enough. Definitely add it to your TBR!

Thank you so much Valentine PR, PRH Audio and Netgalley for the chance to get the whole experience with this book. Narrators were Aaron Shedlock who was so perfect for Rocky and Carly Robins who was also a great fit. This was one I was really looking forward to. There is so much going on and I kept thinking about how it would all end up. I was completely invested in this story. Like, you know it is good if you keep thinking about it. I enjoyed how a lot of the relationships in this story could be considered unconventional and I am always there for that. I am so in awe of Phoebe and Hailey's relationship, I love a strong female bond. Rocky was such a different yet great character. It was so entertaining following his journey and how much he grew. I never knew what to expect from that man.

My biggest complaint was I wanted more at the end. I kind of sat there like.... is it over? Do we have a third book? I guess I was left with some questions. The conclusion was wonderful however I was left feeling like there was something missing, or maybe a few things I still need to know.

the addicted/calloway sisters series is one of my favourites and when dishonestly yours came out last year, I devoured it, it was such an addictive book. unfortunately, destructively mine didn’t reach the same heights for me.

there were parts and moments that still contained the magic I was expecting and looking for. the way krista & becca write found family is something special, I love how we got to see more of the dynamics between different characters and how they would all go to the ends of the earth for the others.

I wish we saw more of phoebe and rocky’s emotional depth as a couple, which got me hooked on this series in the first place. you can feel it’s there from the glimpses we did get, but they got overshadowed by their unquenchable thirst for each other.

the pacing was strange, felt like there were some filler chapters in the first half, then so much went down in the last third that we barely had time to process. I must say, part of the ending did leave me a tad frustrated, but I’m still eagerly waiting for book 3.

thanks so much to the authors, valentine pr, and netgalley for a e-arc in exchange for my honest review!

Incredible! The found family in this series just keeps getting better!

So in book two we continue on right from where book 1 left off (thank god) and the revelations and twists just kept coming in this one.

Plot wise it is a slower paced series, but with how well the characters are explored and developed it never felt slow for me. I would happily spend many mundane days on the couch with this bunch.

I LOVE LOVED the further development of Phoebe and Rocky’s relationship and the buddy friendship between Rocky and Jake is starting to feel reminiscent of Connor and Loren which I’m so here for.

In this book we got to see more of the dynamic between the other main characters as well and I can only hope that they’re are future books planned for other characters particularly to get some Hailey and Oliver POVs

And once again the ending of this one has left me HANGING for book 3

I have read every single book that Krista and Becca Ritchie have published and they continue to amaze me. The found families that they have built across their series are the most intriguing cast of characters. Destructively Mine hits absolutely everything that I could want in the middle book of a trilogy. They answer so many questions that I feel satisfied while leaving just enough loose ends that I need the conclusion now. There's huge emotional moments that play on the title of both the book and the series so well. We get such a good look at Rocky and Phoebe's relationship developing even more. There's even some Ritchieverse easter eggs. My only minor itty-bitty complaint is that there were moments were Hailey really had main character energy and I'm sad that we aren't getting her POV. The way everything is going I feel that we'll see the siblings stories play out in the background instead of in their own books. I'm too greedy and want even more books from Krista and Becca. I will be absolutely waiting on the edge of my seat for the final installment in the Webs We Weave series.

Thanks to Berkley and Netgalley for my ARC.
