I am enjoying the series but liked the first one a bit more than this one. It just felt a little slow for me through the majority of the book. I did like that we got the whole crew together in this book and I am intrigued to read the next book after all the plot twist and reveals at the end

Thank you to Krista and Becca Ritchie and ValentinePR for the ARC!💌🕸️🍓

Destructively Mine is book two in the Webs We Weave series, and I’ve been highly anticipating it ever since I finished my Dishonestly Yours ARC last year—so I was really excited to get my hands on this baby!
Since this book picks up right where Dishonestly Yours left off, I’d definitely recommend doing a quick reread before diving in to avoid any confusion.

I'm a little torn on this one--while a lot was happening, the story also felt dragged out and oddly slow at times, which threw the pacing off for me. The final chunk of the book was packed with plot twists and big reveals (all of which were done really well!), but I just wish they had been spread out more evenly throughout the book instead of being hit with them all at once.
Krista and Becca made me fall in love with the found family trope, and the bond between the core six --Rocky, Phoebe, Hailey, Trevor, Oliver, and Nova--is just so special in this book. Their connection really shows, especially as they go through so much heartache, chaos, and trauma together.
⁀➷"Some things are bigger than us, Phebs. But I am always, always with you. There's never been a moment where I haven't been."ೃ⁀➷
I also loved the passion between Rocky and Phoebe. Their chemistry was strong, and it was fun to see their relationship deepen. That being said, I do think the focus leaned a bit too heavily on the sexual side. It started to feel oversaturated--like almost every interaction was centered around sex--which pulled away from some of the emotional depth that I loved in Dishonestly Yours.

Overall, I still really enjoyed this book! I have a feeling everything will come full circle in book three, and I'm so excited to see how it all plays out. Honestly, I think the final book is going to be the best in the series--and I can't wait to read it!

If you liked the first book you will definitely like this one too!
The twists! The turns! The spice!!! I was so exited to jump back into Phoebe and Rockys story I just love them so much. The first book ended on a cliffhanger and thankfully this one picks up right after. This book did feel a bit long and got a bit slow during some parts. But overall I enjoyed it. I can see how the plot is being set up to continue for the next book. However, I do wish we had more focus on the conning aspect of the story. I did not expect there to be a love triangle in this book but it was actually one of my favorite aspects of the book. I NEED a book dedicated to those 3 immediately!
Thank you Berkley and NetGalley for the arc!!

Thank you Krista & Becca Ritchie, Berkley, and Valentine PR for this eARC!! 😊
I LOVE when a second book hits like this one. From the very first page, Destructively Mine hits the ground running. There are so many moving parts and side plots that you never 100% know what will happen next. And I also enjoyed how much this book let us get to know all the siblings a little more, and I am definitely so invested in where their stories are going.
I really don’t want to say too much since it’s the second in a series, and I don’t want to spoil anything. BUT if you’re looking for a book that will keep you captivated the whole time, this is definitely the one. Seriously. The last half of the book had me gasping for air because I was so shocked by all the reveals.
(Quick sidenote: this book was definitely spicier and darker than the last - so just a heads up!!)

Krista & Becca Ritchie have served another angsty romance with yearning, intense steam, and twists and turns that will keep you hooked! I was nervous and excited to dive back into Rocky & Pheobe’s story because this world is intense and I didn’t want any more heartbreak for my babies. Now, while there is definitely still a lot of uncertainty…my heart wasn’t in pieces after this so I’m hopeful that the happy times might keep rolling…I hope🥹 It did take me a while to get into it, I think mostly because I couldn’t remember what the heck was going on, but also I did feel that the writing style was a bit hard to follow at times, especially when they were referring to so many characters constantly. That being said, I did stay up until 5am one night trying to finish it because by the end, I was hooked! Now I immediately need book 3 which I now know the title of (big shoutout to Berkley for blessing me with an arc!!), and can confidently say I will be diving into the moment I get a chance to read it!!

4.25
MUST read book 1 first! (do it though 😉)
💜 childhood best friends
💜 best friends older brother
💜 grumpy + grumpy
💜 small super rich costal town?
💜 con artist families
💜 family secrets
There is not much to say to keep this spoiler free between this book and book 1. But I can tell you I am INVESTED. There's romance, there's mystery and there's suspense. Then there is spice but it's with the real boyfriend, not the fake one 😉. You are just as invested in the family secrets as you are in the romance. The side characters are just as important. I'm on the EDGE of my seat for the next one!!!
(yes it ends on a cliffhanger again)
thank you, Berkley for this arc

✨big thank you netgalley for the arc!! <3✨
I was excited for the second book in this series after the cliff hanger of book one. I was liking this more than book one for a bit but I think it lost me around the 40% mark. I will break my review down into things I liked vs things I didn’t like because I had equal parts of each!
Things I liked:
- The found family and small town mystery vibes continued into this book and I enjoyed that. I like the flashback chapters we get from old cons so we can get more of a backstory with the characters. KB Ritchie are top tier at writing found family!!
- The mystery and bug reveal we were trying to solve the whole book shocked me and I had my jaw on the floor because I didn’t see it coming? Maybe it was obvious but not for me!!
Things I didn’t like:
- I felt like this was just a whole lot of Rocky and Pheobe having sex and nothing else with their relationship developed and it took up a good chunk of the book. It felt repetitive reading every second chapter of them having sex when I wanted to see more of the emotional side.
- I wish we got Hailey’s POV!!!!! This book has a lot of focus on Hailey towards the latter part of the book and I think we could have benefited from her POV, especially with the way this ended! I would’ve loved to see more of her relationship with both Jake and Oliver.
- I don’t know why, but with this series I lack any sort of connection to the characters. I don’t know what it is but I don’t feel it, even after two books! I’m definetly intrigued but I’m not emotionally invested if that makes sense?
Overall, this series are very easy reads, I listened to this one on audiobook. It’s not my all time favorite but I will definetly continue!

Thank you SO MUCH to Berkley for the free advanced copy! #berkley #berkleypartner
This book has some BIG slap-your-hand-over-your-mouth moments and WOW!! It’s not often that you read a sequel and it’s just as good as the first, but Destructively Mine is THAT GIRL!
Every twist and turn had me GAGGED and on the edge of my seat. There were SEVERAL times that I had to stay up and read more because there was noooo way I could go to bed (and have good dreams 🤣) with what was currently happening the story.
Like in Dishonestly Yours, I loved the familial relationships, romantic relationships, and friendships in Destructively Mine. This series is the epitome of found family and I am obsessed with it. I love how every character has a strong individual presence and background, but they all work really well together and have profound character and story development both together and separately.
There wasn’t a single word in this book that I didn’t enjoy, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes in the third book after that insane ending. My only question is: (I’m not a mathematician but something isn’t adding up,) is this book set in 2012/2013?? Or am I crazy???

I absolutely adored this book! I had so many theories and absolutely none of them were right. I had no idea where this story was going and I am so happy about it. Normally I have some kind of idea about a plot twist, but this one completely threw me for a loop. I feel like most of this book was fluff, and just led up to the plot twist. All of the time they spent on this con went right down the drain and I absolutely hate this for them. Hailey is so special to me, she has put so much weight on her shoulders and doesn’t want to let it go, she likes the pressure even when it drowns her.

Destructively Mine is the second book in Krista and Becca's “Webs We Weave” series. I could not wait to read this one, especially with the first book ending on a bit of a cliffhanger. This one picked right up where Dishonestly Yours ended. The authors did an amazing job answering all of the questions I had previously.
I love Pheobe and Rocky even more in this book than in the first. I feel like we got to know them better. I loved getting glimpses of the past. Their love is my absolute favorite.
I enjoyed learning more about the other siblings in this book. You really get to see them develop more than the first. I can’t say too much more without spoiling but I can’t wait to see where this series takes me! I need the third now!!!

4.5⭐️ An exhilarating read that captivates from the very first page. The chemistry between the characters is electric, and the plot is filled with unexpected twists and gripping drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The authors have truly outdone themselves, delivering a story that is both heartfelt and thrilling. The character development is exceptional, allowing readers to connect deeply with their journeys. The dialogue is sharp and witty, adding layers of humor and tension that enhance the overall experience. The world-building is immersive, making it easy to lose yourself in the narrative. Each chapter leaves you wanting more, and the pacing is perfect, ensuring that the story flows seamlessly. A must-read for fans of romance and suspense!

A con artist looking to go legit but get dragged in another con? Set in a New England town it gives fun small town vibes but in a more upscale way. Loved the book, the twists were what I expect from these authors. A lot of fun!

First of all, thank you so much for this ARC copy of Destructively Mine!!
“There will never be a day, a night, a minute, a moment, a breath where you aren’t destructively mine. And I hope it fucking terrifies you.”
WHAT A FRICKING WILD RIDE THIS WAS!!
People… I finished this book late last night and went through different stages of shock—staring at the wall with my jaw on the floor, then tearing up over these people who aren’t just characters in a novel. They felt so real, so familiar. Getting to know them better in this book was truly something special.
I loved Dishonestly Yours and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one, but I don’t think anything could have prepared me for the wild journey that Destructively Mine was. In book one, we met both the Graves and the Tinrocks, but this is where we really got to know them. Hailey, Jake, my baby Oliver… I love them so, so much.
This book is packed with plot twists, action, and the sweetest moments. Phoebe and Rocky were everything I had dreamed of while waiting for this book, and every question I had was answered, only to be replaced by even more questions that now have me dying for book three. Krista and Becca, you did it again!!

Destructively Mine pulled me in from the first page. I Found the story to be very Interesting and page turning. I read it in one sitting. Krista and Becca Ritchie never disappoints their readers.
Loved It and Cannot wait to read the next one in the series.

First things first: I loved this. I love this series. This is like getting to indulge in your favorite candy with no care about the consequences. I am obsessed with how much this story is expanding and that there is a mystery (and dare I say thriller?) element being added into it.
This is such a fun balance of lighthearted humor, romance, deception and danger. The found family aspect only gets stronger in this second book, which I didn't even know was possible, and I loved getting to see everyone come together and support one another. There are so many juicy and dramatic reveals that this whole series is giving really strong CW network vibes. I ate it up. And that ending?! What in the world. I can tell that this series is only going to get more explosive and wild with the third book and I literally cannot wait.
Oh, and of course, holy smut Batman. This was fun in all the ways.

* ARC received for an honest review *
Thank you, Krista and Becca Ritchie, Netgalley Berkeley and Valentine's PR for an early copy of this book
Destructively Mine is the second book in the Webs We Weave series. The book started off with where the first book ended with that cliffy ending and damn I was hooked with it from the first page. This book surprised me a lot and I ended up loving it more than I thought.
Phoebe’s point of view made me feel everything she was going through—her anxiety, her fears, and how much she overthinks. It was like I was right there inside her head. She’s so strong in her own quiet way, and I admired how she kept trying, even when things felt impossible.
Rocky was harder to read at first, but that made me love him more as the story went on. He’s been through a lot, and he hides his pain behind silence and distance, but when he lets his guard down, it’s powerful. The way he cared about Phoebe, even when he didn’t have the words, hit me hard.
Their relationship wasn’t smooth or perfect, but it felt real. Messy, emotional, and sometimes painful—but also beautiful. Watching them slowly open up to each other and try to heal together made me tear up more than once. They felt like two people who truly needed each other, and I was rooting for them every step of the way.
Just like in the first book, this had a lot of found family moments. I love how they all were intertwined together and had this amazing bond. I loved how they were all protective of each other. Also I loved the friendships too. Like I didn't think I would love Jake and Rocky's friendship this much. Their dynamics was so good.
OMG HAILEY- JAKE - OLIVER WERE JUST SO 🤌🏾🤌🏾
I LOVED THEIR DYNAMIC SO MUCH. I want to read more of them. And I hope they are a poly and she doesn't have to choose just one.
NOVA GRAVES. I THINK IM IN LOVE. EVEN THOUGH HE STILL SEEMS MYSTERIOUS TO ME. HE CAPTURED MY ATTENTION IN THIS.
I still don't know what to feel about Trevor. He annoyed me in the start with some of his behaviour. But now, I guess he grew on me but still my feelings about him are confusing.
The plot was actually so good. And the twists were just so insane. I never thought I would enjoy it this much. Like I didn't expect some of the things, they were just so crazy. Even though most of the plot has been revealed, I'm still excited for the rest of them.
I can't wait for Dangerously Yours. I know KBR aren't going to disappoint me.

I'm so grateful to the authors and Valentine PR for providing me with this ARC!
I couldn’t put this book down — it’s the perfect blend of heart, schemes, and second chances! From the very first page, I was completely hooked. Phoebe is such a beautifully complex character: tough yet vulnerable, fiercely loyal yet constantly caught between her past and her dreams of a better future.
Watching her try to build an honest life in an elite Connecticut town while managing her complicated feelings for Rocky was utterly addictive. Rocky is everything: loyal, protective, and so gentle with Phoebe in a world that taught them both to be guarded. Their chemistry leaps off the page, and the way he believes in her, even when she doubts herself, had me seriously blushing.
While Phoebe’s fake relationship with Jake Waterford brings all the delicious tension you could want, it’s clear her real heart belongs to Rocky — and their stolen moments are absolute magic. Rocky isn’t just a love interest; he’s a grounding force, showing Phoebe what real love and trust can look like.
The sudden reappearance of the Goodmothers adds another layer of intrigue, pulling Phoebe and Hailey back into the world of deception they’ve been trying to escape. The emotional stakes climb higher with every chapter, and the story masterfully blends humor, heartbreak, and hope.
This book is for anyone who loves messy, unforgettable characters, jaw-dropping twists, fierce women fighting for their happiness, and romances that feel like home. I laughed, I swooned, and I rooted for them every step of the way. Easily one of my favorite reads of the year — I’m obsessed!

WHAT A BOOK!!
Thank you so much to Valentine PR and to Krista and Becca Ritchie for providing me with an ARC. It’s safe to say I LOVED it and am super grateful for the opportunity 😊
I liked the first book in this series, but I found myself LOVING this one! I think it’s just because we got to see such a deeper side of all of these characters and the mystery element was SO GOOD! I loved each and every one of these characters! But my mains I would say are Phoebe and Rocky (obviously), Jake Waterford, and OLIVER!!! I NEED TO SEE MORE OF OLIVER I FEEL LIKE HE IS SOOOO SWEET AND I LOVE HIM!
But Rocky 😍 top tier I love the would kill for Phoebe vibes
That ending 🤯 I wasn’t expecting at all! Also Trevor 🙂↔️🫠 what are you even doing bro..?
I can’t wait for the next book and to see what more happens! I feel like we had a lot of development in this one and I want to see even more in book 3!

If you thought Dishonestly Yours was good, Destructively Mine is a whole new level of SPICY AND DELICIOUS. This sequel hits all the same addicting beats—but turns the heat, drama, and chaos up to eleven. I’m talking hot, mysterious, twisty, and tense in the best possible way.
Rocky and Phoebe? Still absolutely feral for each other. The obsession? Mutual. The tension? Off the charts. The chemistry? UNDENIABLE. It’s giving "we shouldn't but we will every single time" and I am so here for it. These two are the definition of down bad—and I love every messy, intense, clingy second of it.
Just when you think you’ve got the plot pinned down, BOOM, a twist slams into you out of nowhere. It's exhilarating, and the pacing makes it impossible to put down. And don’t even get me started on the last 10%—I was screaming. I need answers. I need the next book. I need therapy.
If you're someone who loves heists, spies, betrayal, and characters who would burn the world down for each other—this series was made for you. Read it. Trust me.

I’ve been patiently (read: obsessively) waiting for this book ever since the wild ending of Dishonestly Yours, so you can imagine the actual scream I let out when I got the ARC. And let me just say it delivered. Honestly, I think I loved this one even more than the first!
It’s hard to review without dropping spoilers, so I’ll keep it short, sweet, and as spoiler-free as possible. Just know: I am fully addicted. The world, the characters, the absolute chaos. The Graves/Tinrocks crew owns my heart now. Sure, at times there was a lot going on, but I liked the way everything tied together by the end.
Now let’s talk romance - I adore Rocky and Phoebe (childhood friends to lovers, you will always have my heart). But… Hailey and a certain someone(s)? They kind of stole the spotlight for me. That whole messy situation? I’m living for it, and I need the next book like yesterday. (iykyk 👀)
If you haven’t picked up this series yet - what are you even doing? Go get it, highly recommend!
Thank you to Valentine PR, NetGalley and the authors for letting me enjoy this eARC!
