This was an incredible second installment—I’m completely obsessed with the family dynamics and the plot! Just like the first book, it was insanely binge-able. I devoured it and didn’t want it to end.
Phoebe and Rocky are absolute perfection. Their chemistry, their intensity, their obsession with each other—it’s everything. I’ll never stop rooting for them.
And the side characters? I adore them just as much. I love that they’re all con artists (or were), and that every single one of them is morally gray—it makes the story feel so unique and unputdownable. From Rocky’s siblings to Phoebe’s, I genuinely love them all. No one in this series is truly “good,” and that only makes them more unforgettable.
I need Hailey’s POV. Desperately.
Book 3 can’t come fast enough. 🍓🕸️

thank you @berkley for the earc & @prhaudio for the alc!! i loved being back in the webs we weave universe. this was such a great second installment of the series! this book was jam packed with so much information (i was on the edge of my seat the whole time) and even more character development especially for more of the secondary characters. phoebe & rocky continue to make me swoon and i love their chemistry and how perfect they are for each other.

had the best time reading this one!! in true kbr fashion it is filled with so much passion, love, jaw-dropping moments, character growth, & amazing plot. the end of this book has me STOKED for what’s to come in book 3. i can’t wait see how this series wraps up in the next one🤭

OH MY FUCKING GOD.
I don't even know where to start with this book!! Absolutely wild. I could have never cooked up what ended up happening in this book. So many revelations.
Rocky and Phoebe are still top tier. I absolutely love them so much. I could not get enough of them together! Even though we got sooo many amazing scenes of them I still wanted more! I think they're quickly becoming one of my favorite KBR couples! This entire series is becoming a favorite.
The wild adventures this wild group of people take me on is insane. I was not bored for a single second of this read.
I can not wait to see what happens in the next book. I am seriously so upset that we have to wait for the next book again!! lol

he story is still told from Rocky and Phoebe’s point of view, and their chemistry is absolutely off the charts. I'm really hoping the next book focuses on Hailey and the love triangle that emerged in this one—it definitely has me intrigued.
My only minor complaint is that it felt a bit long; I tend to prefer slightly shorter reads. That said, the plot picks up right where the last book left off, following the con-artist family as they try to start fresh—though leaving that life behind proves harder than expected. There are plenty of new twists and turns, and the ending left me genuinely excited for what’s next!
I also really enjoyed the love triangle Hailey finds herself in. I’m actually rooting for both love interests, so I’m curious to see how that plays out.

This book had SO MUCH going on in it, but yet it felt easy to read. I really enjoyed the story within the pages, how we get snippets of each character and really build up the underlying backstory that's long been hidden from Rocky, Phoebe, and their whole crew. This book has a full fledged cast of characters that gives it all the fullness I'd expect from these authors.
Rocky really steps up in this book and becomes the protector and leader that this crew needs. His love for Phoebe, his desire to protector her and his sister, and his drive to find out the truth of their history really help build this story up. Rocky and Phoebe together were my favorite part of this story. I wanted to gobble up every little scene that they had together.
Phoebe continued to surprise with me with the strength she carried. Growing up in the family she had, living the life of a con artist from her earliest years, she's sly and cunning in ways I could appreciate in a heroine. I love that through all the drama, she carried true love and devotion for those closest to her.
The first half of the book was a little slow to start for me. There are tons of details that get explored, and I felt like I need it to move a little faster. But that second half? It delivered on the mystery of their situation and added more dimension. I loved it. I'm excited to see where book 3 takes us and to find out how many more secrets get uncovered!

Wow! This book was amazing! I was obsessed with Dishonestly Yours and couldn’t wait for Destructively Mine and it did not disappoint. The stakes felt higher in this book and I just connected so deeply to the characters. I love Phoebe and Rocky’s love story and can’t wait to see where they end up in the next one. All of the siblings shined in this book as well. So many questions were answered and truths were uncovered that I did not see coming. This is a book you will not be able to put down! I highly recommend it. Thank you to Valentine PR and Krista & Becca Ritchie for the ARC copy.

Wild & Spicy- two words I would use to describe the second novel in the "Webs We Weave" series. Readers are put right back at the country club, picking up where Dishonestly Yours (book one) left off. There were just enough "lol" or "omg" moments that captured my attention to keep reading however; I do feel as if my interest waned throughout reading because there wasn't enough parent action. I was so READY to get more of them, especially with that cliffhanger but I had until the last half to really be invested with that information. Love the spice, love the characters. But I do think the length could be shorter with some scenes either cut or shortened.

I was not expecting to love this as much as i did! this was such a great read, i can't think of one moment where i was bored. once i got to the last quarter of the book, i was on the edge of my seat & could not put down this book!
we pick up right where the first book left off! i really felt like the other sibling's personalities shined through, and they felt a lot more important to the storyline than in the first book. I'm loving the con and drama that this small coastal town has to offer & after that cliffhanger....... I'm gonna need book 3 immediately.
i am curious to know how if this series will only be 3 books, and if we will get some of hailey's pov since i see her storyline becoming a huge part of the series!
thank you to valentine pr for the arc! all opinions are my own. <3

“there will never be a day, a night, a minute, a moment, a breath where you aren’t destructively mine" 🪻💚
thank you netgalley for this arc!!!
the concept of this series is so unique and i've been eating it up!!! i love these characters so much. phoebe & rocky have my whole heart❤️🩹❤️🩹
i can't wait for book 3, i'm hoping we get some more povs in book 3 (i would kill for an oliver or hailey pov!)

3.5 ⭐️
Destructively Mine picks up right where Dishonestly Yours left off, continuing the chaotic, twist-filled ride of Rocky and Phoebe’s fiery romance and diving deeper into the tangled web of con artistry that hooked us in book one. The plot thickens as we get more insight into the family dynamics, with side characters like Hailey, Oliver, Nova, Jake, and Trevor stealing the spotlight at times—and honestly? They were some of the best parts of the book.
That said, this sequel felt like a mixed bag. While the story is undeniably addictive and full of twists, it often felt like too much was happening at once. The pacing was uneven, with a slow build heavy on filler chapters and an action-packed final quarter that didn’t leave much room to breathe between plot twists. Some of those shocks landed, while others felt predictable or underwhelming. And that ending? It’s giving why did they do this to us?!
As for Rocky and Phoebe—their relationship remains intense, but its hyper-sexual focus left little space for emotional depth or growth. The constant steam started to feel repetitive, especially when more meaningful, vulnerable moments could have added richness to their dynamic. Unfortunately, despite being our POV characters, they didn’t feel as compelling as the rest of the cast. A few additional perspectives might’ve added the complexity this book needed.
Still, the sibling dynamics and found family vibes were strong and heartwarming. You can tell the characters would walk through fire for each other, which adds a needed emotional anchor to the chaos. The Ritchie sisters clearly have something unique going here, but this installment felt like it got a little lost trying to do too much. Here’s hoping the next book tightens things up—because I’m absolutely here for Hailey’s story and whatever cons come next.
* Thank you to Valentine PR for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

Thank you to Netgalley for this ARC.
This is book 2 in the Webs we Weave series. Dishonestly yours was one of my favourite 5-star reads of 2024, so I was so excited to get this ARC.
It took me a while to fall back into this world and remember what was happening. But once I did , I was hooked again.
I loved seeing Rocky and Phoebe's relationship grow, especially now that they weren't hiding from the gang. I loved having all of the gang together again, where we got to see more of their character and how much they all mean to each other in their crazy world. There were a lot of heartfelt moments.
Jake was an unexpected delight in this book, and I loved his character development.
There were, of course, more secrets to uncover, and this left me wanting more. There were so many gasp moments , with reveals and twists. I am so excited for more in this series, I feel like we have just hit the tip of the iceberg with this world.
I am hoping that Hailey , Oliver and Jake get a story similar to Wild Like Us/Fearless Like Us.

So freaking good! I’m not sure what to say about that ending (and cliffhanger). The con was crazy and I wasn’t expecting what happened during it. I love the characters in this series. There are so many layers to each one of them. Poor Hailey had it rough in this book though. I need the next book like now 😁
❤️❤️❤️

I am so thankful to be able to review this book! I enjoyed reading “Dishonestly Yours” last year, and could not wait for the next book to come out!
I am so glad we got to experience more of Rocky and Phoebe’s story! Their chemistry is amazing, and I love finding out who they will play next! The twists and drama were amazing, and my jaw was on the floor! I was giggling, tearing up and gasping throughout this whole book! I am so excited to continue this series and see what happens next with this family!

And I hope it fucking terrifies you."

destructively mine arc review! 🍓🕷️🕸️
man, this series! it’s unlike anything I’ve ever read before. the first one was insanely good but book 2? EVEN. BETTER.
thank you @kbmritchie for gifting me a digital copy of this arc! 💗
phoebe & rocky are everything. their love for each other surmounts their situation & it is BEAUTIFUL to read.
i love how interconnected everything is- i love how loyal the characters are to each other and their found family despite the way life has handed them curveballs.
i also love that there is a whole side plot going on along with the main one- i am INVESTED in hailey’s love life.
the grifter lifestyle is HIGHLY entertaining to read about (lowkey makes me wanna go pull a con or whatever?) and I am also HIGHLY anticipating book 3– I am 10000/10 recommending this one. 5 stars, no notes 🤪🤩🌟

"There will never be a day, a night, a minute, a moment, a breath where you aren't destructively mine. And I hope it fucking terrifies you.”
This series is for people who love Gossip Girl for its messy and toxic nature. The relationships are complicated and based on lies. Everyone is morally gray: plotting and keeping secrets.
That being said, the crew is truly a ride or die gang. They may not always like each other. But they will always have each other's backs. It is amusing to watch this runaway train go off the tracks.
The format is a little odd at times, with some of the flashbacks close to the present timeline. It felt a little jumpy and lacking in buildup.
Nevertheless, the birth reveals were surprising. And I'm curious to see how the revenge plot goes moving forward, since none of them planned for a death to take place. I also want to see if the authors go the polyamorous route with a certain trio 👀

I fear this book got second book syndrome for me, it was very predictable. It also felt a lot of running around with the storyline. I loved then ending because that’s when we got what we wanted. But you left off seeming like there moms were around to ruin this town.. and we got nothing until the end. I still liked it, but I loved book 1. I didn’t give what I thought it was gonna. I will still read book 3 and will probably try reading it again and see if I chance thoughts later on

I recently finished Destructively Mine by Krista and Becca Ritchie, and while I didn’t read the first book in the series, I was still able to dive into the story without feeling too lost. The plot itself was fine. It kept me engaged, but I never felt like I was able to fully invest in it.
Personally, the book felt a bit longer than it needed to be. The pacing just didn’t quite grab me, and I found myself wanting things to move along a bit quicker at times. I wasn’t sure initially if I would be invested in reading the next book, but that ending definitely has me rethinking it!
As for the spicy scenes… there are definitely a few! If you enjoy steamy moments in your reads, this book definitely delivers in that department.
Overall, it had some enjoyable moments, it just didn’t fully hit the mark for me. I’m sure the fans of this series will get a lot more out of it, and I’d be interested to see what others think—especially if they read the first book and have a different connection to the characters and the overall story.
If you’re looking for a book with strong romantic chemistry and some heat, Destructively Mine might be right up your alley.

Wow. What a book!! I absolutely loved this. I’d even go as far as to say more than Dishonestly Yours!
This book picks up immediately after the end of the first book, so you need to have read that one in order to read & enjoy this. Otherwise you’re going to be very confused!
Whilst the first book centred more on Phoebe and Rocky, this one brought in much stronger elements of the siblings. The family / sibling bond in this book was so so good. They’re a unit, they’re indestructible, and they each play a key role in the grifting.
The storyline was non stop and kept me well and truly hooked. So many twists and turns - it was a ride. It was such a good composition of drama, intrigue, emotion and romance. Phoebe and Rocky’s chemistry was off the scale. I love those two both individually (as the seductress and the silver tongue) but even more so together. Getting to understand more about how much and how long Rocky has loved her made me swoon so hard.
I will be talking about this one for a long time. I can’t wait to read it again already.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read & review this book.

Thank you Berkley Publishing, Valentine PR and Becca and Krista Ritchie for this ARC!
This book starts off immediately following the cliff hanging end of Dishonestly Yours. This book is in Phoebe and Rocky's pov and works to explore their backstories of what led up to who they are now as well as struggling with the ideas that what they know to be their families is essentially a lie. The book alternates from past to present highlighting the experiences they have throughout their time grifting which is impacting the present. Phoebe and Jake are still in a fake relationship while Phoebe's relationship with Rocky is developing further. While struggling with their parent's secret-keeping, the team also plan to pull a con with Jake throughout the story and involves struggles and successes throughout the way and sets up perfectly for the third book.
Guys - Rocky and Phoebe are everything. The BANTER! The YEARNING! I would fold like a lawn chair for Rocky. The friendship between Phoebe and Hailey is so deep and raw. The sibling dynamics between both the Graves and Tinrocks, as well as Rocky's developing friendship with Jake are all elements of the story that just add to the entire reading experience. I gasped, I shed a tear, I was giggling and kicking my feet. Anyone that likes a contemporary, drama-romance book should read this series and this is a hill I will die on. If this series has 0 supporters, then I am dead.

There was definitely more plot and interesting twists, and we got to see more of the cons! I still felt there was something lacking, but the ending!! I did not see that coming. The new love triangle that’s been introduced is definitely going to be interesting too! I was not expecting that twist.
I’d love to see a pov from Nova, Oliver, Hailey, Trevor and even Jake. I’m excited to see more of them in the next book!
Thank you NetGalley and Berkeley for the arc!
