This is another fabulous domestic thriller by Kerry Wilkinson. It’s packed full of twists and intrigue. The writing style is fast paced but also engaging. It’s a really good book and one that I’d certainly recommend.

Home Is Where the Lies Live by Kerry Wilkinson is a gripping domestic neighborhood thriller.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the multiple POVs and different timelines. It was easy to follow had lots of secrets, twists, turns and suspense.
With its well-paced plot and richly developed characters, this novel is another reason why Wilkinson is a wonderful author for creating gripping thrillers.

An engaging, clever thriller with a sprinkle of humor. The multiple perspectives and the police interviews made it even more engrossing.
The story revolves around several sketchy neighbors whose lives are intertwined by secrets and hidden motives.
The author skillfully builds suspense which kept me guessing about the true nature of these individuals and what was going on behind closed doors. There were several tense moments that lead to unexpected twists I definitely wasn’t anticipating. A superb read!!
Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read this advanced copy. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an interesting book told through multiple point of views. A new couple move to the neighborhood where secrets are hiding behind every front door. All the characters had an eerie persona about them which I loved because I needed to know what they were hiding and that kept me intrigued.
The “Future” police interview chapters were a great touch as they kept you thinking and assuming as to what happened before we actually knew what happened.
My only dislike - Beth. She and that storyline didn’t need to be there at all.
What to expect from this book:
-Multiple points of view
-Two timelines (but nothing confusing)
-Themes of domestic violence
-Marital secrets
Would I recommend this book? YES!
Thank you, @netgalley and @kerry.wilkinson for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

There’s something strange in this neighborhood.
Secrets and lies in every home on the street. What are they all doing behind closed doors and who fired the gunshot?
This psychological thriller features the viewpoints of many of the homeowners as they relate things that are going on in their households. Freddie and Heidi just moved into Huntington Grove for his new job and Heidi is at loose ends. Why has her husband suddenly started hiding things from her and locking his office door? Others on the street also have some things they don’t want everyone to know. Like Willow. She and her daughter, Isabella, argue a lot and husband isn’t hanging around home much. Then there is the widower Dylan and his daughter, Orla, whose wife was murdered 3 years ago. He’s still very upset and angry that the killer has never been arrested. Allison, the neighborhood party organizer is another weird one — her husband works overseas but the house isn’t quiet. It all comes out on the night of the block party.
This was fast and fun and I enjoyed the writing style with the shifting points of view and the insertion of the police interviews. The characters were complex and interesting. Even if the coincidences and conclusion were a bit far fetched, it was still entertaining trying to figure it out.
I was able to listen to the audiobook while also following along in the e-book ARC, both provided by the publishers. The two narrators did an excellent job of voicing all the different characters and used an appropriate amount of dramatic flair as needed to really enhance my reading experience.

One street, lots of secrets, but what are they? When Freddie and Heidi move onto Huntingdon Grove, they want to keep to themselves, but the other residents have other ideas.. Dylan who lives next door with his 7 year old daughter Orla, lost his wife when she was murdered, but what is Dylans secret?. Willow and Gabe with their daughter who are constantly at logger heads with each other and Alison the neighbour hood watch party like to do exactly that, watch!!. They are all hiding something but what? How will the lies and secrets affect the neighbours?..... There's alot going on in this book, I enjoyed it and couldn't turn the pages quick enough. Highly recommend

Gripping , suspenseful fast paced thriller with multiple POVs that keep you hooked from the first page. A story set in a seemingly normal neighborhood in England , however it's quickly revealed that each family has their own secrets . I really enjoyed how quick of a read this was and the stories of 3 different houses in the neighborhood had you always wondering what was going on in the next and what was the connection to the opening event at the street party. I did suspect a few of the twists but some caught me by surprise ! Im looking forward to reading other titles by this author and would definitely recommend this book.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW
Review for 'Home Is Where The Lies Live' by Kerry Wilkinson.
Well, well, well Wow!!! What another absolute cracker of a book by an extremely talented author!!! This book sucked me straight in from beginning to the explosive ending. It was very well written with excellent descriptions which put me straight into the storyline. The synopsis and the cover suited the book perfectly.
This is yet another absolutely fantastic page turner by the extremely talented Kerry. Kerry's evocative writing skills really brings the story to life ensuring you can see everything around you and feel everything that Heidi, Willow and Dylan are feeling, seeing and hearing. The storyline is addictive and filled with suspense, family, tension, secrets, mystery, drama and everything you could ask for in a fantastic page turner!! I loved all the twists and turns and throughout it kept me constantly on edge trying to guess what was going to happen next and although I hate to admit I was wrong, I was wrong each and every time, but keep that to yourselves please!! So, a MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS Kerry for managing to prove me wrong time and time again!!! I would NEVER have seen that ending coming fair play! I have read many thrillers and it's getting harder and harder for me to be surprised so great job there. As always with Kerry's fantastic books this book was gripping, easy to read and fast paced. If you have never read any of Kerry's books then grab your copy of this page turner today and I promise you will not regret it!! I loved the storyline and just loved everything about it. As always Kerry does a superb job of not only weaving together multiple protagonist perspectives together perfectly but also multiple timelines seamlessly ensuring the reader sees the bigger picture of what is going on without causing any confusion but also without Kerry giving anything away until he is absolutely ready to! It was all done perfectly!! An absolutely addictive page turner that kept my heart in my throat on the edge of the seat and absolutely absorbed me. The fact there were so many different red herrings and so many possibilities that all would have worked perfectly I could not put this book down!!! I was so invested in the storyline that I was up until 2am!! I would LOVE to see this turned into a movie!!!
This is one of the few books that I have listened 100% on Audiobook. If I listen to a book on audiobook I usually also read the physical book between but I listened to the whole book and I was impressed! I must say a HUGE congratulations to the narrators Julia Barrie, Rebecca Lee and Matthew Spencer who all did an amazing job bringing this story to life. I would listen to it in the car and while walking at any opportunity and they all did an absolutely brilliant job of managing to convey and portray the characters emotions through their voices!!!
WARNING ⚠ DO NOT START THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE CLEARED YOUR SCHEDULES AS THIS BOOK IS ADDICTIVE!!!!
THE characters were fantastic, solid and completely believable and I absolutely loved seeing them all come to life and hearing their stories. The main protagonists are Heidi, Willow and Dylan and Kerry manages to completely bring them to life so it feels lie each of them are telling you their story while you are standing right next to them throughout. Each of his characters have their own individual flaws, quirks, strengths and weaknesses and the majority of them seem to be hiding their secrets. You have no idea who is hiding what or who to believe at times so you are constantly trying to guess and work it out. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters although I must admit I wasn't a fan of them all!! As always with Kerry he has created realistic, strong and in depth characters that leap out of the pages at the reader ensuring they feel and see everything they are seeing and feeling. There was a great eclectic mix of characters which always helps to liven the storyline up. They all had such different and strong personalities and all suited the storyline perfectly.. There were such a mix of personalities and its hard really to say too much about any of them without giving too much away!!! Regardless of whether you liked, loved or disliked any of the characters they all work perfectly together to bring this story to life. I cannot wait to meet the next characters that this author creates for his next books. A great cast of characters that come to life thanks to Kerry's extremely evocative writing talent along with Julia, Rebecca and Matthew's incredible narratives!!
CONGRATULATIONS KERRY ON YET ANOTHER ABSOLUTELY ADDICTIVE PAGE TURNER!!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU ARE ONE OF MY TOP 5 MALE AUTHORS!!! HERE'S TO YOUR NEXT SUCCESS 🥂
Overall a compelling, addictive, action packed and fantastic page turner!!

Very interesting mystery. I was suspicious of everyone from the start. The twists, coming at you from right and left and the suspense buildup, are fantastic. It's a little slow paced but mysterious. Everyone seems to be hiding something, and you couldn't get the full revelations until the end. Multiple points of view and the police interviews in between added the excitement. A gripping mystery throughout with a shocking climax.
Thanks to the author, Netgalley, and the publisher for the eARC.

This book is about the goings on in Huntington Grove, a quiet area with seemingly friendly neighbours - but who knows just what goes on behind those closed doors?
The story mostly follows 3 households. Heidi & Freddie have just moved in and are finding their feet. Willow, with 2nd husband & daughter live across the road but Willow & her daughter are forever arguing, and single dad Dylan lives next door. He recently lost his wife to a murder, and the culprit hasn't been found.
One summer's day, there is a street party to celebrate the town and on the surface everything is going smoothly. However, the day will end with flashing lights, sirens and one of the residents being lead away in handcuffs.
Another amazing read from one of my favourite authors - Kerry Wilkinson. He never fails to write a great story!

Well, the revelations really explained some of their behaviors. Unfortunately the revelation came quite late so it was really hard for me to enjoy the book. I found them all annoying and I was just thinking " dear god I would go crazy living in such a street ". And still the story made me wonder "what happened, who is shifty, what it's her deal" so I'm glad I finished it and got my answers.
Thank you Netgalley!

The old saying goes "you never know what goes on b we hond closed doors" and it certainly is the case with this story and it's a thrilling doozy. Lots of thrills, chills and drama. A definite thrill ride.
If you love thrillers you will love this.
Thanks Bookouture and Netgalley. All my thoughts and opinions are my own and isn't influenced by anyone else

Home Is Where the Lies Live is told mainly from 3 different neighbor'a perspectives: Willow, Heidi, and Dylan. All three did an excellent job in describing their point of views. The story is suspenseful with lots of twists through out that kept me wanting to read more and not put it down until I was finished. Definitely an exciting and entertaining psychological thriller that I highly recommend!
Synopsis: Even the most perfect home can hide shocking secrets. But on this peaceful street, is one of them dangerous enough to kill for? On a beautiful sunny day, it’s time for the whole street to gather for a summer party. Everyone plasters on a fake smile. But soon the picnic tables will be overturned, sirens will blare – and one of the residents will be marched away in police handcuffs.
Many thanks to #HomeIsWheretheLiesLive #NetGalley and #Bookouture for providing me with an E-ARC of this 5 star psychological thriller!

This book kept me wondering. Every character seems locked in some sort of misery but was it of their own making?
They all had secrets and Wilkinson painstakingly rolls them out.
I felt like I was picking up sharp pieces of glass, trying to clean the shatter but not making much headway.
I really didn’t figure out any of the characters and what made them tick.
I also felt like I was missing something at the end and the ending was abrupt.

Warning! This publisher is renown for back filling books with ads etc. The copy I read ended early which could mess with you if you try and pace yourself towards the end of a book! So you don't get caught out, I would really recommend that you find out where the story ends in the version you are reading before you start!
Well... where do I start with this book. We begin with a police report of an incident, possibly including gunshots, called in by a terrified person. We then go back in time to when Heidi moves into her new home. Husband Freddie has already been there a week or so, and she is arriving with the rest of their stuff. It soon transpires that they have moved for his job, she having had to give up hers for him. On that first day, she meets Willow, who lives across the road with husband Gabe and her daughter Isabel. Willow invites them to come to dinner and becomes quite excited when she realises that she went to school with Freddie. Also living in the street are Dylan and daughter Orla, his wife having been murdered (unsolved) a few years ago, and Alison who is the main organise of the street party that will take place the next weekend.
As the action continues in the past, we also get to see witness statements from several non-residents which adds some colour and clarity, or not, to the proceedings!
Wowsers, there is definitely a lot going on. So many secrets going on in the lives of those who live on Huntington Grove. There's also a lot of foreshadowing. A lot of misdirection and hinting. And secrets, did I mention them yet? Cos there are a LOT! Maybe too many? Some obvious and easy guessed. Others notsomuch. The author definitely showed his skills at juggling along the way. And he does bring it all together on the run up to the wholly satisfying but a wee bit eye-rolly ending!
All the rest of the things you'd expect from this author is front and centre in this book. His no nonsense attitude to waffle or padding, his great characterisation (although some do only just stay clear of becoming caricatures this time), and his brilliant observational humour and banter.
So yeah, as expected and a book I did enjoy with the aforementioned few reservations. I do wish he would go back to his series books though. My thanks go to the Publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Ha, if a book ever captured the line "you don't know what goes on behind closed doors".
I loved this book. What a winner of a thriller.
We are introduced to a major event on the street. Then the storytelling swings back to how we got there.
It has 3 narrators. I love it when a book does this. How often, even in innocent times we all see things, experience things soooo different from others. Well this is ampt up tenfold when written into a book and thriller.
I was looking forward to getting back to this every time I settled in for a read.
I would recommend it to any thriller reader. And I think it could get those who aren't usually into thriller captured too!

I could not wait to read this book always love this authors books and wow this was my favourite so far. I loved the suspense which was throughout. I enjoyed how the characters were written and the style of writing the way it was written from different prespectives it helped build up the suspense. It is definitely one of those books that once you start you can’t put down which I absolutely love on a dark winter night. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this great book which I can’t wait to recommend.

3.5 🌟 rounded up
Heidi and Freddie have moved into Huntington Grove, it’s the week before the organised street party but whilst moving in and getting to know the neighbours Freddie is already getting cold feet about the move.
The story kicks off with a 999 call reporting a shooting then throwing us back a week to the lead up to the party. There are also police interviews as chapters too giving us more insight on who may have been shot and who may have been the shooter.
This is a great suspense thriller which keeps you wandering just who could be the victim and who is the shooter. We have the POV of Heidi and also Dylan and Willow who also live on the grove. There are some questionable characters , hidden secrets and lots going on behind the closed doors of the neighbourhood.
Many thanks to NetGalley, publisher and author for my eARC.

Home is Where the Lies Live was a twisty fun read. It follows 3 narrators - Heidi, Willow, and Dylan. The 3 are neighbors in a quiet neighborhood that is preparing for a block party. But everyone seems to have some secrets behind closed doors. When gun shots are heard on the night of the block party, no one knows what's going on.
This was a good read/listen, but it did tend to drag a bit in places for me. I liked how there was multiple stories going on that all kind of came together in the end. Defiantly a few twists I didn't see coming!
Thank you to Bookouture, Bookouture audio, and NetGalley for the ARC and ALC for review.
Expected publication Dec. 5, 2024

Whenever I read a Kerry Wilkinson book I know I am going to get a book that will keep me gripped. The secrets and lies in this book were very captivating and this was such an intense read as I questioned who to trust.
