A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

Max Monroe books are always a hit! I always tell new readers to only start a M.M. book when they have an entire day that they can devote to reading, because you can't put these books down. This book is no exception!
This rom-com has is all - slow burn, fun banter, laugh out loud moments, and amazing chemistry.

Meet Me at Midnight by Max Monroe was such a fun read! I seriously adored every second of it. The slow burn, the secret crush, and those anonymous late night chats had me hooked. Juniper is hilarious and totally stuck in the most complicated crush ever…her best friend’s older brother, her boss, and her next door neighbor all rolled into one. Beau is charming and totally off limits, but their midnight conversations just keep getting deeper and hotter. I loved all the secrecy, the spice, and the anonymous texting. This book was completely irresistible!

This book was a lovely read, I particularly enjoyed the descriptive language used in it, and how well everything was always explained from everything to clothes to the smells that could be smelt. It felt I credibly immersive which I absolutely adored.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and the publishing company for allowing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and Max Monroe, LLC. for providing this eARC in exchange for an honest review. Meet me at Midnight is out now (and I very much recommend!).
I found the storyline so cute and cozy. Even though it’s not something I personally relate to, I enjoyed it as much as if I was the FMC. The secrecy, the thrill, the cuteness, the words of affirmation, I ate it up. I also enjoyed that the spicy scenes weren’t an overkill, was just the perfect amount for this type of plot. And the epilogue made me so giddy and happy for the MCs.

I love a good read that makes one laugh, and this book did just that. The chemistry between Beau and June was fantastic. It felt natural, and wholesome.

I love Max Monroe books. You know you’re in for a late night or a totally unproductive Sunday the second their newest release hits your Kindle—and this one is no exception!
This book delivers one of my favorite tropes: the girl who’s secretly in love with her best friend’s older brother. June has crushed on Beau for years, but when she starts working at her best friend Avery’s parents’ company, she finds herself suddenly sharing office space—and a lot more—with him.
Beau is competing for a big ad campaign involving a new anonymous chat app called Midnight. When June suspects his rival is cheating, she decides to reach out through the app and warn him… anonymously. What starts as a helpful tip quickly turns into flirty, witty daily conversations. Beau is hooked—but imagine his surprise when he finds out the mysterious woman he can’t stop thinking about is none other than June.
As always, Max Monroe delivers rom-com gold: hilarious banter, swoony slow-burn romance, and characters you just want to root for. If you love brother’s best friend tropes, workplace romance, or just really great chemistry, don’t miss this one!

I have quite a few thoughts on this.
This was my first read by Max Monroe. I've had them on my long list of authors to read and finally got around to them. I'm glad I did.
I really enjoyed the story. The plot. And (most) of the characters.
Juniper and Beau together are amazing. I loved them. The banter had me swooning and laughing. Beau was such a cinnamon roll which I'm a sucker for. I enjoyed watching Juniper grow out of her shy shell and be more outgoing.
I could not stand Avery. I'm sorry I just couldn't. Every time she came onto the scene, I cringed. She made me want to put the book down. I'm glad I stuck to it. After the epilogue, I'm curious to read her story, though it might take me a while to get through it.
I also got so frustrated with the "3rd act breakup". Not with the breakup itself but with Juniper and the way she acted. It all worked out at the end, though and I'll recommend this book to anyone who likes friends-to-lovers, best friends big brother, with steam and banter.

I love dark romance but every once in awhile I enjoy a good rom-com and Max Monroe books are some of my favorites.
This book has lots of witty banter, flirting and steamy scenes, and the joy of found family. Great read.

In Meet Me at Midnight, we have our fmc (Juniper) who has been in love with her best friend, Avery's, older brother (Beau) for as long as she can remember. After their graduation, they start working at Avery's father's advertisement company where Beau also works. In order to protect Beau's work from a nefarious colleague, Juniper starts to send Beau anonymous messages that quickly turn flirty and for the first time ever Beau seems to be interested in her. But the question is, will he still be interested when he finds out it is her who is sending him these messages.
The premise for this book was so solid. I will eat any book up that has the "best friend's older brother" trope, but this book fell a little flat for me. I'm all for an fmc who is obsessed with the mmc, but in this book, every other sentence she is thinking about her crush on Beau and what it would be like to be with him. She's an absolute nutcase around him. All she thinks about is how attractive he is and how much she wants to sleep with him, so much so that we didn't get a chance to learn more about the characters aside from this crush. The character development felt shallow and we only saw surface level aspects of each character. I feel like if there was more depth to her outside of her crush and his superficial interest I would have loved this book.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

This one was so much fun!!! I had an absolute blast from the first sentence to the last sentence. Loved the relatability of the characters. I didn’t love the 3rd act breakup, but it was still a wonderful book!

A cute read with alternating FMC and MMC pov sections which made the story interesting. I have to say Juniper’s whole first section made her out to be a bit pathetic really, but she does redeem herself quite quickly after that. Also Avery’s character was too privileged and spoilt to believe (or like) she could have been toned down a little! Overall a good lighthearted palette cleanser.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC to review.

Thank you Max Monroe and the publisher for this copy!
This was such a fun book. I loved the banter between the characters. Sister’s bff has a secret crush on the brother. It was spicy and cute. I cannot wait for Avery’s book.

Another winning Max Monroe book! I really enjoyed the interactions and banter between Juniper and Beau. He'd always been her crush but was a bit off limits as he was her best friend's brother. But her crush still always lurked right there under the surface. Now they are both adults and working for his family's company. When they are trying to land the marketing deal for a new dating app, Beau and Juniper end up talking to one another on it but only she knows it's him. He doesn't know who the mystery woman is on the other side. Will he still feel the same once he knows it's "Juniper June," his little sister's best friend?
These characters were so fun and easy to become attached to. Also, in typical Max Monroe fashion, there were so many one-liners that made me laugh out loud while I was reading. Their books are always the perfect combination of romance and comic relief - - they give rom-com a whole new meaning. But they also throw a little sensitive, emotional in there too. After all, it would be a shame if they didn't give us the full spectrum of emotions, right?
AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: I was also fortunate enough to receive an early copy of the audiobook. It was also quite enjoyable and the narration felt on target for the characters. I loved listening to the book as well because the narrator did a great job - - especially with Beau's sister, Avery who is blissfully unaware of just how entitled and pampered she is. So much so that you can't help but chuckle at some of the things she says. 5 stars
Thank you to NetGalley for early copies of both the audiobook and ebook.

If you love rom-coms with sassy banter, ridiculous antics, and just the right amount of spice, Meet Me at Midnight is your next guilty pleasure. Max Monroe delivers a laugh-out-loud enemies-to-lovers story where two former best friends-turned-rivals are forced to spend a summer together—cue the pranks, tension, and undeniable chemistry.
It’s got all the ingredients of a perfect beach read: a sun-soaked setting, a love-hate dynamic that keeps you hooked, and characters who are equal parts frustrating and adorable. Expect chaos, swoon-worthy moments, and plenty of “just kiss already!” energy. If you’re looking for a fun, flirty escape, this book has you covered!

Review: 𝑀𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝑀𝑒 𝒜𝓉 𝑀𝒾𝒹𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 is another binge-worty romcom by the romcom master duo Max Monroe! This book had me sucked in and refused to let go until days after I finished and I still wish I had more of Juniper and Beau! 𝑀𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝑀𝑒 𝒜𝓉 𝑀𝒾𝒹𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 is a book that needs a caution label since there is NOT a place that is good to pause for breaks and you really just HAVE to read it until the end…which I did unapologetically. Max Monroe was able to include just enough forbidden and workplace romance vibes while also adding the sweet touches to Beau’s and Juniper’s story, for one he calls her “Juniper June” and I just swooned every time!
Juniper is such a conundrum of awkward, independent and romantic that I just wanted to bundle her up in a hug. I adored her story and really enjoyed the way Max Monroe began the romance between her and her longtime crush, Beau. I really loved her POV throughout this book and hands down LOVED the friendship she had with Avery. The bond these two had was the BEST sisterly and best friend bond I have ever read and I loved the exasperation Avery pulled from EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER! Max Monroe was also able to balance the progressing romance between Juniper and Beau in a way that showed how much they each loved Avery and did not want to upset her.
Beau Banks. A man of many talents…and dirty words. Hands down, Beau was the MC I adored in this book. I loved how he was the steadfast older brother who began to see his little sister’s best friend in a different light. And I also really enjoyed how his protective side began to show when Juniper tried to move on from Beau before their 𝑀𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝑀𝑒 𝒜𝓉 𝑀𝒾𝒹𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 chats began. His whole brotherly vibes were quickly replaced with the knowing that Juniper was actually quite well matched for him and Max Monroe really created the conflict his character faces once he realizes that his perfect match has always been there right in front of him! And… his mouth! Oh boy, I did not see that coming from the sweet prodigal son he portrays himself as!
The whole concept of the anonymous chat inside a dating app was a unique spin on the forbidden aspect of a workplace romance and I loved how Juniper began the chat as a way to tell Beau someone was sabotaging him. The web-chats also allowed us to see inside of Beau and his mind more instead of the prodigal son in the Banks empire…which needless to say had me falling in love with his character even more! From the get-go Beau was a surprising shock and once Max Monroe dove deeper into the after-work chats I truly began to see his insecurities. The way he tries to find out who his “Mystery Woman” is had me laughing since Juniper was always right there and I truly loved the final reveal Max Monroe did when he learns who is behind his late night conversations.
𝑀𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝑀𝑒 𝒜𝓉 𝑀𝒾𝒹𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 is a laugh out loud romance that had me in stitches from start to end but also kept me guessing at when the other show would drop. Max Monroe was able to balance the fragility of best friend’s brother romance with “it’s always been you”m in a way that warms the heart but also makes you sweat with the intense attraction and chemistry Juniper and Beau share. This book was another amazing read by one of my favorite romcom author duos and I can only hope to see more of this couple in (fingers crossed) future books within this cast of characters!
Rating: 100+; 𝑀𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝑀𝑒 𝒜𝓉 𝑀𝒾𝒹𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 is the perfect off-limits, best friend’s older brother romance with the iconic Max Monroe twist that had me laughing until I cried right up until the end!

This book was so much fun. It had some of my favorite tropes (best friend’s brother, office romance, hidden identity) and I really believed these characters cared about each other and had a solid relationship before the romance started.
Loved these two together and was so excited to root for their HEA.

Max Monroe never fails to crack me up with the antics their characters bring in their books. Think took me all the way back to the Georgia and Kline days a bit with a similar premise of hidden identity over a love match app and workplace relationship. Add in best friend’s brother and June and Beau are cooking. I loved their banter and how comfortable they are as June is a pseudo-member of the Banks family already. It was fun seeing their relationship morph from best friends brother/little sisters best friend to more. I will say, Avery, the best friend/little sister annoyed the hell out of me, and I’m sure that was on purpose. I can wait to see her wiley club hopping days be tamed in her upcoming story, or maybe they won’t since Henry is the adrenaline junkie. 😂😂
Alexander and CJ did amazing in this duet narration. I love how comfortable they seemed like they truly were June and Beau.

Max Monroe knows how to get a reader's attention. This book captured mine. I loved Beau and Juniper together. I enjoyed this book I could not put it down.
