This book sweeps you off your feet with the perfect love story. You will love how each character makes you fall in love with who they are. I was so sad when it ended. This book will leave you craving more.

This book started off strong as an enemies-to-lovers college sports romance. It was cute, with some genuinely funny moments, and my favorite character by far was Nana Nanette—she was absolutely hilarious and the kind of woman I’d want to know in real life!

That said, the overall story didn’t quite hit the mark for me. While there were some enjoyable elements, the main characters felt a bit immature at times, and the ending fell flat. After all the suspense and buildup around their relationship, the conclusion felt anticlimactic.

I’d give this book 2.5 stars. However, if the author ever wrote a book about Nana Nanette’s life, I’d be first in line and probably give it 5 stars!

I really enjoyed the pacing of the book. I know Luca runs hot and cold and can be irritating, but at the same time, I appreciate that he found the answer that everyone else sees. Total bonus for my girl, Lo. She's sassy and know herself. She knows what makes her strong, what makes her vulnerable and what her end goals are and kind. I love the quote from Luca: I finally got my head out of my ass. YES! All girls want a man that loves fiercely and head out of their asses. I do love how Luca came clean, and how he took care of his girl. Won't lie, some parts were a bit caveman-ish but since Lo loves it, we're here to love it too. This is a 3.5 spice, so you've been warned.

I got the audio book, really enjoyed John William Maddox and Macie Miller, they really kept the inflictions and voices up very well and made it enjoyable.

This was a really enjoyable romance sports book! I was not expecting to like it as much as I did, so that was a pleasant surprise. The angsty moments between the main male character and main female character was fraught with lots of sexual tension. I also really love a brother’s best friend trope and this one really stood out as one of the top brothers best friend trope books I’ve read. I did feel a bit jilted with the ending however. I felt it could’ve done a bit further to wrap up the ending, but the way it ended did make it feel like the female main character’s brother’s storyline will be the next in the series.
I will definitely read more by this author as this was the first book I’ve read by her.

This book was just okay for me. It kept me entertained but didn’t immerse me in the story. It was heavy with college slang. It is a quick read.

Cute and sexy romcom. Loved the tension and drama but also the relationships built and maintained with side characters due to their wholesomeness.
