I found this to be a fun, engaging thriller that kept me guessing right from the start. The book begins with someone in jail who has "lost it all" and is has one last person they think can help them. This intriguing beginning leads to a can't put down thriller as shocking secrets are revealed. At first, the new buyer of Naomi's apartment seems to good to be true but as time goes on Naomi can't help but be suspicious of the newcomer as odd incidents begin to befall her and her family. Is Summer really just a single mom trying to make a new start or does she have dangerous intentions for Naomi and her family? The answers will surprise you as the story speeds to its dramatic climax and Summer's intentions come to light. Who can you trust? Who is telling the truth?

I absolutely devoured this book! I found a couple of things that happened relatively predictable but there were still plenty of surprises and I couldn’t put it down. Will definitely be reading more from this author!

Absolutely loved this book. Maybe my favorite I have read this year. I loved the twists and turns. I read alot of thrillers and often feel like I figure out the twists too early and I thought I had done the same but this one surprised me. The character development wa fantastic and there were no runs of waiting for something to happen. I especially loved how the title was tied into the story and really finished it off at the end and epilogue. Super fun read and I would love a second book. Plan to read more from this author. Very well put together and worded beautifully. Already recommended to several friends.

As you move into your dream home after selling your flat, the buyer is also moving… into your life.
Is Naomi just exhausted and imagining things or is Summer really full of bad intentions? And if so, what are her reasons for acting like that?
The author succeeds in making the reader feel the feelings of the main character, right up to the end. Definitely recommended

Naomi has the best life. She has a husband who adores her and two perfect daughters. Her family soon outgrows their home and they decide to put it up for sale. A mysterious woman name Summer shows and strange things start to happen.
This psychological thriller was hard for me to put down. Each chapter had me yearning to read more. Natasha Boydell writes a well crafted story that leaves your shocked at the end. If you like psychological thrillers and lifetimes movies this would be a great edition to your library.

The Dolls House is perfect for the Suspense lover. This book gave me anxiety (the good kind, the book kind) I read this entire book in less than a day as it was just too difficult to part with. Trust me I tried.
The Doll House is very well written, fast paced, suspenseful, difficult to put down, has a few twists and turns that were unexpected and was quite entertaining and kept me fully interested and dedicated to the very last page.
I highly recommend!

Wow! I couldn't put this book down. The twists kept coming and I loved every one of them. The main character Naomi was great. I didn't love Asha, as I felt like for someone who was supposed to be one of Naomi's best friends, she was too quick to drop her. But aside from that, I absolutely loved this book.

This is a gripping book about Naomi, who with her family, moves to her dream house. When Summer, the purchaser of their old flat, starts infiltrating every aspect of her life, the dream fast turns into a nightmare. Although the way Naomi’s friends dropped her felt a little unrealistic, Naomi’s protectiveness over her children and the bullying of her younger daughter, was all too real. This is a great read which I raced through.
Thank you to Natasha Boydell, Boldwood Books and Netgalley for my advance copy.

I liked the premise of this book and the quick chapters but was irritated by how shallow Naomi’s so called friends were and how quick they were to gaslight her. I appreciate that this is a plot device but it seemed unrealistic and clumsily plotted. I enjoyed the denouement however which elevated this review to a solid 3 stars

This was a belter! Typical single white female type scenario but done in a fresh, interesting way with
plot twist after plot twist then another plot twist! Let’s say Summer is definitely not who she claims she is. Natasha Boydell did a great job with this one. It’s my first time reading a story written by her and won’t l be the last.

This was a very interesting book that I enjoyed a lot . Plenty of twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. I loved the main character and her husband and really wasn’t expecting this book to go in the direction it did . I definitely would recommend this book and can’t wait for the next book from this author. Five stars from me

A really gripping storyline with a lot of twists and turns. This was really well written and the characters were great. A real thriller that I enjoyed very much. Thank you to Net Galley for an advanced copy

3.75 stars. So, getting into to- it did keep me on my toes the whole time. There were twists and turns I didn’t see coming and moments that literally had me saying out loud, “wtf”. I was invested more in the side players than I was the FMC but she gave off unreliable narrator Tylenol vibes and those aren’t usually my cup of tea. Not that’s what her character is, just similar character traits. This will definitely scratch an itch for a large demographic, though.

I was very engaged with this book and really wanted to keep reading to see what was going on with the main character, Naomi, and her nemesis, Summer. Who was telling the truth? Was one of them delusional? Definitely hard to put down.

4.5 stars!!!
The moment I read the first chapter, I just couldn’t stop and devoured it until 2AM! I was invested in the story and couldn’t wait to reach the conclusion. It’s been a while since I had a hard time putting down a book. There were plot twist after plot twist then another plot twist! The only thing I can give is that, “Summer wasn’t who she said she was.” Let’s just leave it like that.
The ending was unexpected but it didn’t blow my mind off. Nevertheless, Natasha Boydell did a great job with this one. It’s my first time reading a story written by her and won’t definitely be the last one!

Naomi is excited when her family's flat sells and they can move into their dream house. The purchaser, Summer, is a single mom with a daughter that she enrolls in the same class as Naomi's daughter. When Summer seems to take an undue interest in Naomi, including getting a similar hair style and buying the same clothes, Naomi is suspicious. Those suspicions grow when Naomi discovers that Summer's daughter has a doll house painted to look just like Naomi's house. She can't figure out what it is that Summer wants, but she's sure it is not good.
I began this book with high hopes as I enjoy the genre, but I found the first third of the book to be quite repetitive. The other bothersome thing is that Naomi has a strong, long-standing friend group, but they all decamp to Summer's side without giving Naomi the benefit of the doubt or seeking more information to better understand her position. That's not what friends do. I ended up skipping the middle third of the book and felt that I'd lost almost none of the story line in moving along to the finish.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Sometimes delulu isn't the solulu.
Naomi wants to move to her dream house, but in order to do that, she should sell her flat. What happens when the buyer turns out to be her stalker?
This book frayed my nerves, it kept me on the edge of my chair quite literally I think I'm gonna look for her other books ♥️

A truly terrifying read. Couldn't put it down. From the hopes of a new home. Every parents nightmare that your daughter is being bullied. Slowly all your friends turn against you. Is Naomi right and Summer is not who she appears.
Loved the twists and turns will definitely look out for further books by Natasha Boydell.

I had mixed feelings about this book. The pacing was slow, and it wasn’t until the big reveal at the end that I became fully engaged. The twist was interesting but came too late to redeem the slow buildup.
I also found the side characters frustrating, particularly Naomi’s friends who immediately dismissed her, which felt like an overused trope. The ending was fun, but the lack of tension throughout left me feeling unsatisfied.

Whoa!!! What did I just read. This book was very nostalgic to me, and reminded me of a 90s teen drama/thriller move. I DEVOURED this book. It had me hooked from the beginning. This is my first book by Boydell, and it made me add all her books to my tbr list, and purchase two from Kindle. I also pre-ordered the audible edition of this book so that I can read/listen again. I feel the audio version will be even better. 5 HUGE stars!!!!
