Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Narration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This story is told in three different POVs and is in dual narration. First off, you can never go wrong with any of these narrators. Stephen Dexter, Stella Hunter, and Grayson Owens did such an amazing job making this story come to life.
This story follows Fox, Morgan, and Nathan. Fox and Morgan are high school sweethearts who have been married for years. They are loggers who live in a cabin and are openly polyamorous. Nathan is on his way to see his sister when it all goes wrong and he ends up snow banking his car in an accident. The couple find him and bring him to their cabin to make sure he's safe. But because of the snowstorm, they're stuck until its over. Morgan and Fox are pulled toward Nathan and think he can be their missing third. Nathan who has pretty much played it safe his whole life doesn't understand the pull he has toward the couple. The snow in shows Nathan more about himself than he realized and opens Morgan and Fox to possibilities they weren't expecting.
Morgan aka Lamb is the sweetheart of the group. She's so full of empathy and love. She makes sure to go easy with Nathan and to balance out Fox and to see that relationship was so beautiful. Fox is more closed off, but he has so much love to give and he really does love taking care of people. Even in his minimal words, his actions speak so loud. Listening to Nathan come in to himself and stop villanizing his desires and needs was such an amazing joy. He never allowed himself out of his societal normed box and seeing him spread his wings despite his upbringing was beautiful. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the three. They each have a role in their throuple and it balanced each out where they could be their true selves.
This book showed a lot of the struggles of accepting yourself and being allowed to accept the good and love in your life. Although this was fiction, there were pieces in this story that really spoke to me and some things that I struggle with in my life.
I have loved Kayla's writing ever since I stumbled upon Trick Shot and this story did not disappoint. I highly recommend this book and if you can listen to the audio. The narrators really brought that emotion to the forefront.
Thank you Netgalley for the ALC!

OBSESSED.
Oh my word I freaking loved this audiobook. Not only was the story absolutely amazing but the narration was to die for!
I ADORED these characters. I loved getting to know them and their personalities. Watching them grow and open up to each other. Especially Fox and Nathan. I have such a soft spot for the sweet guy in any dynamic(Nathan) and omg do I love the more reserved but secretly soft guys like Fox. It was so freaking sweet watching their relationship slowly blossom and see that trust and love grow between them.
Morgan was AMAZING. Literally the FMC of my dreams. Confident in her body, sexy, self assured and knowing exactly what she wanted at overturn whether in everyday life and in the bedroom. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her.
I truly never wanted this audiobook to end! Everything about it was perfect. The care the author put into her words and the way the characters cared for each other during the intimate scenes was so refreshing to see.
Can not wait to read more from this author as this is only my second from her(first full length novel).

As a general rule of thumb in not normally inclined to reading straight up smut, but somehow the author managed to build more depth into these characters than I’ve seen in in books with out a single sprinkling of spice.
Definitely going to check out more works from this author 😉

This was a super cute, suuuuper spicy holiday romance with a polyamorous relationship. All these characters were so lovable and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. 4.5 stars.

Axes and O's had me going ho-ho-holy shit!
Grayson Owens, Stella Hunter, and Stephen Dexter really brought Nathan, Morgan, and Fox's characters to life! This was such a fun and steamy listen, and my earholes have never been happier!
- snowed in
- male + female plus size rep
- poly relationship
- bi awakening
- toys + light BDSM

I mean this book is exactly what it describes itself as. MMF sexy times, and LOTS of them. This is about as spicy as it gets. Why a three-star? I am not really into fated-mates unless it is in a fantasy concept and I just wasn't sold on this random guy who got in a car accident falling so quickly for this married couple - and visa versa. Like all of the sex? Sure? Real feelings with more sex than conversation are very unlikely. I am sure this will be a 5-star for lots of people who like more spice than plot.

I loved this audiobook! Kayla always writes the plus-sized characters that I love the most and this book was already a favourite. The narrators truly brought Morgan, Fox, and Nathan to life and I love them even more!

This was pure perfection! TThe narrator’s did such an amazing job! This was so HOT and so perfect for the Holidays! I will be recommending this to everyone! Who knew a car accident would land you with a hot married couple who wants a third 😉😉

Thank you to NetGalley for the ALC of this book.
I have no notes, it was SO spicy and SO sweet and SO perfect.
When Nathan crashes his car in the snow, he never expected he'd be rescued by two married Lumbersnacks.
Their journey together was really tender and I loved the bi awakening and all the feelings.
I also enjoyed all the creative spice. Kayla is fabulous at writing spice.
And finally huge props to all three narrators as they did such an amazing job.
Highly recommend this holiday MMF SPICE filled romcom. Enjoy.

I cannot understand my recommendation of the audio to anyone and everyone who has this on their TBR this holiday season - fantastic audio narration and production.
If you're looking for a high-spice holiday book, set in a cabin in the woods - look no further. The relationship development was well done and believable, and the spice scenes were very well done. Nothing is too heavy-handed that you feel bored of them and want to skip, but you don't forget that it is indeed the book's focus. The scenes were very well done overall.
And make no mistake - the romance is the primary focus of the book. If you're coming here for a secondary mystery or suspense plot, this isn't the place. It wasn't something that kept me on the edge of my seat and not wanting to put it down, but it was fun to come back to and listen to a few chapters before moving on.

Oh, this book was spicy! The hot lumberjacks'- sorry, loggers' relationship was super sweet and I love how gentle and mindful they were of Nathan's journey. As for his journey... it just felt fast, as the entire book is taking place over a few days. For someone who had never experimented with his sexuality before, he really dove into the deep end with this couple. But it all works out in the end, so GOOD FOR THEM!
If you want to read a SUPER SPICY book for the holidays, this one is for you!
As for the audiobook, it was great having a narrator for each character! This may not be one you play blasting in your car but in the comfort of headphones, I highly recommend it!
**Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sending this audiobook for review consideration. All opinions are my own.**

AFTER RELEASE ALC REVIEW:
From NetGalley
AXE’S AND O’S follows Fox and Morgan who are married, they are open to new sexual experiences together and Morgan lets Fox be true to himself liking both men and women. When Nate finds himself stranded in the snow he ends up getting comfort from Fox and Morgan, In more ways than one. This story is dirty and I was here for that, I enjoyed the spice and the openness to each one of them, being free in themselves to experience new things.
Grayson Owens, Stella Hunter, and Stephen Dexter narrated in duet and make this audio even steamier.

A wonderfully balanced MMF holiday romance that will get you into the holiday spirit. All three narrators did phenomenal in portraying the emotions and vulnerability of this married couple and their missing piece. You’re instantly transported to their little cabin and the emotional journey will have you swooning, crying and blushing.

Wham bam thank you ma’am (Kayla) and all the innuendos in between. Wowwwwy wow, say that again three times. One for Nathan, one for Morgan, and another for Fox. What a trio 🥵 I’m definitely coming back for more… so so sooooo much more.
The second I heard chapter one I knew I was going to lovvvvve this! I was invested the whole book. The narrators were perfect in every way. I read the book before the audio and let me tell you the narrators knew what they were doing.

Loved the audio
This was a SPICY 🥵🔥 fun holiday read. Nathan crashes his car and gets stuck in the snow. He's this rescued by a couple and wakes up to quite the surprise. The plot is the first 20ish % then the rest is just a heck of a good smutty time. They happen to be snowed in FOR DAYS.
Thank you for this ALC netgalley and Kayla!

Oh, this one is a gem! I’ve loved every single one of Kayla’s books, but I think this one might just take the crown. As always, we’ve got a beautiful plus-size FMC, which I love.
Nathan, who works in marketing, is seriously in need of a break. His boss has been pushing him too hard and tries to keep him at work when he should be heading home for the holidays. In a snap decision, he quits his job on the spot. But because he left later than planned, he gets caught in a blizzard on his drive to see his family. Almost there, he ends up stuck in a snowbank. Luckily, Morgan and Fox, a married couple who own a lumber business in the mountains, rescue him. Snowed in together at their cabin, things get interesting. Nathan wakes up confused and wanders in on the couple… in the middle of something very private. Now, what’s going to happen? Can they pretend nothing happened, or will they act on the undeniable attraction between all three of them? And what will happen when Nathan can finally leave?
This story had me hooked from the start. I tore through it and couldn’t put it down—I just had to know how it all played out!

Most recently I listened to the audiobook and it's amazing! Performed in dual narration by Stella Hunter, Stephen Dexter and Grayson Owens. These three were fantastic! All of them embodied their characters. Stella captured Morgan's sweetness. Stephen exuded Fox's grumpiness with his deep, gruff tone. Grayson captured Nathan's anxiety after the accident, as well as the thrill and curiosity he experienced being with Fox and Morgan. If you're looking for a fun and spicy listen. Check this audiobook out!

5 stars!
Oh my GOD, what a book! I have read several stories by Kayla Grosse, but "Axes and O's" might be my favorite. It is not your ordinary love story, but my goodness, did I enjoy it. It's a forced proximity, snowed-in Christmas tale with a lot of self-discovery and exploration, truth and honesty, games and meaningful conversations. This book is cheeky, deceptively deep, very funny, saucy, and very, Very, VERY spicy. Even *I* blushed while reading this one, and it takes a lot to make me blush. Morgan, Fox, and Nate are wonderful characters. They are brimming with love, desire, and acceptance, and they each have impeccable chemistry with one another. There was never any doubt in my mind about the love these characters had for one another. I literally could not stop reading this book, and I even re-read it once I finished it the first time. Seriously, this might be one of the best audiobooks I have ever listened to. Grayson Owens, Stella Hunter, and Stephen Dexter are absolutely FANTASTIC narrators here. They all complement each other so well, weaving the story in and out with expert precision. They completely and wholly embody the characters in this book. The editing of the audio is also exquisite! Just stellar work all around. I will for sure be listening to this multiple times!
Thank you to NetGalley, Kayla Grosse, Dreamscape Select, and Fat Babe Publishing, INC for the complimentary ALC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated

Wow, this was a spectacularly produced audiobook!
We get three narrators, who all embody their characters so well! It was such an entertaining listen, I really enjoyed the different vocal textures - I don’t want to spoil anything, but you can really hear each character develop through this high heat spicy story, with plenty of snark and humour.
