This was such a rollercoaster but what we have learned first and foremost is that rich people need to choose from a wider variety of names for their children.
This was an enjoyable and overall pretty lighthearted read (except for Wilder’s villain origin story because 😟), the two of them had instant banter and a level of comfort with each other that was fun.
Everyone’s behavior was absolutely insane but maybe that is just a rich person thing (“I accidentally cheated on my fiancé but I love her should I tell her?” eat actual garbage, dude). Cannot relate at all but at least I had a good time ig

Sloane was left at the altar on her wedding day and works for a wedding magazine, and Wilder is a player in relationships and sports 😂. They meet at his friend’s wedding, make out in a coat closet, their friendship/ relationship begins.
I was totally vibing with this, and then at 83% they had to throw in the surprise pregnancy and like WHYYYY. I really need to start researching these books more because this is happening way too much lately it drives me crazy. “We used protection every time how did this happen?!” 🫠
And then the whole “how am I going to tell him?!” And of course he has a past where a previous girlfriend lied about him getting her pregnant and like 🙄. The skimmed the remaining 15%.
Also the narrators were not great at keeping up the British accent for the MMC. Not consistent.
If you’re fine with the surprise pregnancy you’ll probably like this one. Not for me unfortunately.
Thank you @netgalley and @brambleromance for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

Such a cute book!
- he falls first
- slow burn
- billionaire
- traumatic pasts
Sloan works for Bride magazine and is a jilted bride herself. She's covering a wedding and she's asked to fill in for a bridesmaid. There she meets Wilder a good looking, former rugby playing groomsman.
He's smoking hot, successful and knows how to get under her skin immediately.
The lengths this man will go to in order get her attention! Many of the quotes from Wilder melted my heart!

This was such a fun read! I loved the banter between the two main characters. The slow burn was done so well and the friendship that developed between the two in the inbetween was so beautiful.

Jilted reminded me a lot of 27 Dresses—with its fun, wedding-filled backdrop and romantic comedy vibes. I really enjoyed the overall setting and the light, entertaining tone of the story. The wedding themes added charm and a sense of celebration that made the book feel lively and engaging.
However, I had a hard time fully enjoying the story because I didn’t connect with Wilder, the main male character. His repeated disregard for the heroine’s personal space and consent made it difficult for me to root for the romance. It pulled me out of the story and made certain moments feel uncomfortable rather than swoon-worthy.
While the premise was promising and the atmosphere was fun, the dynamic between the leads just didn’t work for me due to those boundaries being crossed.

A workplace romance AND he’s obsessed. Need I say more? AND he has a British accent. Like, are we joking??? Oh, and he’s also a Swiftie!!! Perfection over here!
Sloane, our strong firecracker of an FMC, is an absolute GEM. She’s a hoot! I adore her. Wilder, while he comes off as arrogant and cocky, has a heart of gold and is so much more than his flirty playboy persona. Wilder is downright OBSESSED with Sloane in the cutest way! We all deserve a man like him, ladies. I ate up every little thing about these two together, down to the innocent forehead kisses he gave her to the STEAMING tension between them!
Also worth mentioning that I LOVED the addition of Wilder's little brother and Sloane's niece; they added a warm, comedic touch to the story!
As much as I enjoyed this read, I did have a big problem with it, unfortunately. While this was super cute and romantic, things between our main characters were super lustful sometimes, and I really hated that with EVERY FIBER of my being. When a seemingly sweet and tender romance turns lustful, it takes off stars for me.
All in all, aside from the lustful turn this took, I had so much fun tagging along on this hilarious, heartwarming love story!

Jilted is another well written and captivating story. This was unputdownable read and I binge read it in one sitting . In true Ms Keeland style the story was witty and at the same time emotionally charged romance . Sloane is obsessed with everything wedding related and she was jilted . She is working for a bride magazine and while covering a wedding she meets Wilder . The first time these two meet was cute . The chemistry between these two was amazing. Wider is perfect for her. He had his work cut out with all the walls Sloane had . It was a beautifully written romance where he fall firsts and works to win her heart. Another great story by Ms Keeland . If I could would give it more than five stars 🌟

I had so much fun reading this book. A jilted bride working for a bridal magazine who gets roped into writing a feature of twelve weddings she has to attend where the boss’s son is always around playing groomsman.
Slow burn ✔️
Enemies to Lovers ✔️
Laugh out Loud banter ✔️
This book is rom-com magic. It’s so much fun. It’s so sweet. It’s perfect.

This was a very frustrating book, the lead character and the premise of the book jsut didn't work for me, she is smaret and knowledgable and so unself-aware, it made me crazy. I listened to the audio book and the narrator was good.

What a fun read! I enjoyed every second of the banter, the spice, and the laugh out loud moments. Left-at-the-alter is such a gut wrenching trope but who doesn’t love a good second chance at love redemption?! Sloane and Wilder have absolutely electric chemistry.
This story was an easy, fun read

Jilted was a fine read. It was easy and cute. I did enjoy the first meeting between Wilder and Sloane. Wilder was immediately smitten and I liked how he pursued Sloane because she was special. The two of them together was sweet. I liked how they just easily fit. Each had their own baggage and it was interesting to see how they navigate through it and be happy. Overall a pleasant story that I needed at the time.

I am new to this established author and found this book delightful. Sloane Carrick is a writer for Bride magazine. While covering a wedding for her work she becomes an alternate bridesmaid because she is the right size for the dress. There she gets partnered up with groomsman Wilder Hayes. He is handsome and cocky. They share a perfect cupcake and kiss in a closet at the reception. Sloane is surprised to get assigned to cover more weddings from the friend group not realizing they have a connection to her magazine owner. She also didn’t realize that Wilder is the owner's son.
I like that Wilder doesn’t have any real connection to his father’s companies so there isn’t a power imbalance nor is her job at risk. He is flirty and willing to put in the effort to win an official date with her. He is wealthy so she does enjoy a little extra pampering like a seat upgrade on an international flight or a personal shopper when her luggage gets lost. But otherwise they are a real couple trying to get to know one another. The banter is fun and can easily slide into dirty talk. I felt like they got to know each well before turning up the heat at the traditional 65 percent point. I did enjoy that while he is a player, he is smitten first.
I really didn’t have expectations for this book and came away pleasantly surprised and feeling happy.

Ugggghhhhhhhh I wanted to love this book. Who wouldn’t want a handsome athletic British millionaire pining after you and falling first? Sloan is sweet and relatable. Wilder is perfect but almost too perfect which kept the whole book at a very unrealistic distance, which isn’t a bad thing but I do tend to prefer my romance MMCs a little more human. I did think being her boss’s son would come up more but it almost seemed to be a non-point for most of the story. But…
Spoiler alert below here….
The flashback storyline to Wilder’s past girlfriend Whitney should have prepared me for the end of the book. I truly cannot stand pregnancy tropes and I never would have picked this one up if I knew that’s where it was going. When it’s the main point of the climax? Absolutely not. Ugh.

it was a little to spicy for me and it started off really early in the book, but the story itself was interesting and original. It kinda reminding me of "By a Thread" a little bit, but I do think it could've done without all the spice that it has.

Jilted by Vi Keeland is the feel-good romance you didn’t know you needed—a heart-hug of a story wrapped in sizzling chemistry and laugh-out-loud banter. Sloane and Wilder’s connection? Off the charts and so much fun. This sweet and sexy love story is pure swoon material even for a self-proclaimed non-swooner like me. But let’s be honest: Vi’s book boyfriends are in a league of their own. Her signature banter absolutely shines in this dual POV gem, bringing every moment to life with charm, sass, and depth. One thing is for sure—you won’t feel jilted after reading this one. Total chef’s kiss

This book has a lot of strong elements: it follows a man who falls for a woman and goes out of his way to make a lasting impression. Wilder, a wealthy former athlete, has no plans to settle down—until he meets Sloane. He can’t stop thinking about her and makes a sincere effort to win her over. With his dad owning Bride magazine where Sloane works, their paths cross frequently at scheduled weddings, adding a layer of tension and connection. There were several steamy scenes that were well done and added depth to their chemistry. While the story was engaging and had its high points, a few aspects made it difficult for me to fully connect with the book. The main character’s family being fourth-generation NYPD and owning a cop bar brought in themes I personally found off-putting. Additionally, there were moments of casual misogyny—like referring to women as "girls"—that took me out of the story. These elements may not bother every reader, but they did affect my overall enjoyment. Thank you Tor Publishing Group for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Wilder and Sloane are amazing together, their banter is fantastic but you can't expect anything less from Vi Keeland. Wilder tries to get Sloane's attention and when he does he show her his vulnerability. This book is a total "get out of a book slump" worthy. I loved everything from the meet cute, to the banter to the chemistry. Vi Keeland has another hit on her hands.

This is a fun and charming slow burn, he falls first, and enemies to lovers romance that I really enjoyed reading. Sloane is a writer from a bridal magazine, she’s seen it all when it comes to weddings. Her latest wedding features a bridezilla who’s missing a bridesmaid. Guess who steps in as a bridesmaid?
At this wedding, she meets an extremely cocky and handsome man named Wilder, whom she doesn’t recognize as a very popular rugby player with a reputation for women. His father is the owner of the magazine Sloane works for, although she doesn’t realize that until later.
This situation is different for Wilder. For the first time, his feelings run deep and he’s determined to have a relationship with Sloane, preferably a permanent one. I liked his determination to win Sloane over and he wasn’t embarrassed to express his feelings.
This is an entertaining read that I highly recommend.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley, I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Another cute rom-com from Vi Keeland! This quick read was less spicy in my opinion than some of her other works, but still had the same elements that I love - a cinnamon roll MMC, swoony moments, and fun banter. Thank you, TPG/Bramble, for this eARC.
