Casual misogyny in my romance book? I don’t think so. I already hated the jokes the MMC made about the FMC job not being real journalism, the over the top praising of cops and the gross MMC exploit man who’re tendencies (dude is OFFERED up explicitly, with no lead up, sex by 3 women in under 24 hours). What world is this man living in?
Also not to mention 29% of the way in we have a scene where the MMC is on a flight with his best friend who is a self proclaimed “relationship guy” but has cheated on his gf randomly and is flying to see her to try to fix their relationship. Already HATE that but ok at least he’s trying to make amends. NOPE. on the same flight - “Mia approached a passenger in the row in front of us, seated across the aisle. She bent, practically shoving her heart-shaped ass in our faces. We both took a long look before Andrew’s eyes slanted to meet mine again.” Mia the flight attendant.
Who writes female characters like this anymore? Disgusting.

While I usually love a good slow-burn, Jilted didn’t quite deliver for me. The setup had promise, jilted bride, forced proximity, a swoony athlete hero, but the execution felt too on-the-nose. The banter between Sloane and Wilder had some enjoyable moments, but beyond that, the story leaned too heavily on repetition and over-explaining things I could’ve connected on my own. I found myself wishing it trusted the reader more.
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A must read!!
Wilder and Sloane are made for each other!
Banter, passion, emotions… Jilted has it all!
Vi Keeland delivers again with sharp writing, witty dialogue, and just the right amount of emotional pull. I laughed, I swooned, and I felt every beat of the story. If you’re looking for a romance that will make you smile, blush, and maybe tear up a little, Jilted is the one.

Sloan is a writer at Bride magazine and it was once the perfect job for her. However, she becomes the jilted bride and her ideas of weddings are abandoned. Sloan and Wilder are a great pairing with their easy banter and phenomenal chemistry. The side characters were likable and fun. I had a smile on my face for the majority the book. I alternated reading and listening to this story because I didn’t want to take a break from the story. The narration is perfect, and the emotions of the book perfectly portrayed.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bramble for this e-arc in exchange for my honest review..
This was such a wonderful book! Was my first by Vi Keeland, but will not be my last! I loved the cover of this book - but especially loved the story itself. Sloane is amazing and how she was able to handle working at a Bride magazine after being left at an altar! Then she starts working on a wedding; the bridezilla is truly from hell. However working with her leads her to Wilder and well; Wilder is worth everything.
His accent? Their banter? It was just so cute and made for a really fun slow-burn romance.

I was honestly bored. Just from the description I knew what was going to happen but I still wanted to give it a chance. However nothing about this book hooked me in and it all felt very been there done that. The book was just fine to me. Nothing spectacular but if a read if looking for something lighthearted this will be their book.

When I was finally able to get to this one I did it in a day! Another great read from Vi. I loved these characters. The story had just enough drama to keep it interesting without being over the top!

This story follows a wedding writer stuck in a nightmare job who falls for the owner’s son. This is my first Vi Keeland book and I really enjoyed it. First of all I have to mention that the paper quality of the Bramble edition is just amazing. So, about the story, I was hooked from the beginning. The storyline was addictive, which made me just want more. I loved the dual setting of NYC and London, along with the pacing. I loved all the weddings the FMC went to and just the cute moments throughout the book. This book is told from dual povs with some of MMC’s past pov (wish we got more of those).
Sloane is the FMC who’s on a one-year moratorium and working on her wedding journalism. I liked her character and seeing her able to find love again. Then we have Wilder who is a british man, obsessed with Sloane. I loved seeing how much he cares for Sloane. Both characters developed throughout the story. There are many side characters and I loved Elijah who was Sloane’s hyper. The romance in this book is he falls first and slow burn with some steamy scenes.
The ending was great and overall I enjoyed this book. It wasa fun, cute read and now I am excited to read more of Keeland’s books. Her books are also the perfect length so it’s fun to finish it in a day. This is perfect for the summer!
*this book was sent to me by the publisher to give an honest review in return*

Such a great audiobook! I was pulled in from the start and couldn’t stop listening. I laughed, I cried, and I loved every second of it.

This book was so much fun and I enjoyed all of the characters. The plot was fantastic. Nothing of what I expected at all. Which was so pleasantly surprising because this book made me laugh. This book made me wanna tear up. This book gave me all the feels and this is exactly what I needed right now.. thank you so much to the publisher and I can’t wait to buy this book

This was such a rollercoaster but what we have learned first and foremost is that rich people need to choose from a wider variety of names for their children.
This was an enjoyable and overall pretty lighthearted read (except for Wilder’s villain origin story because 😟), the two of them had instant banter and a level of comfort with each other that was fun.
Everyone’s behavior was absolutely insane but maybe that is just a rich person thing (“I accidentally cheated on my fiancé but I love her should I tell her?” eat actual garbage, dude). Cannot relate at all but at least I had a good time ig

Sloane was left at the altar on her wedding day and works for a wedding magazine, and Wilder is a player in relationships and sports 😂. They meet at his friend’s wedding, make out in a coat closet, their friendship/ relationship begins.
I was totally vibing with this, and then at 83% they had to throw in the surprise pregnancy and like WHYYYY. I really need to start researching these books more because this is happening way too much lately it drives me crazy. “We used protection every time how did this happen?!” 🫠
And then the whole “how am I going to tell him?!” And of course he has a past where a previous girlfriend lied about him getting her pregnant and like 🙄. The skimmed the remaining 15%.
Also the narrators were not great at keeping up the British accent for the MMC. Not consistent.
If you’re fine with the surprise pregnancy you’ll probably like this one. Not for me unfortunately.
Thank you @netgalley and @brambleromance for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

Such a cute book!
- he falls first
- slow burn
- billionaire
- traumatic pasts
Sloan works for Bride magazine and is a jilted bride herself. She's covering a wedding and she's asked to fill in for a bridesmaid. There she meets Wilder a good looking, former rugby playing groomsman.
He's smoking hot, successful and knows how to get under her skin immediately.
The lengths this man will go to in order get her attention! Many of the quotes from Wilder melted my heart!

This was such a fun read! I loved the banter between the two main characters. The slow burn was done so well and the friendship that developed between the two in the inbetween was so beautiful.

Jilted reminded me a lot of 27 Dresses—with its fun, wedding-filled backdrop and romantic comedy vibes. I really enjoyed the overall setting and the light, entertaining tone of the story. The wedding themes added charm and a sense of celebration that made the book feel lively and engaging.
However, I had a hard time fully enjoying the story because I didn’t connect with Wilder, the main male character. His repeated disregard for the heroine’s personal space and consent made it difficult for me to root for the romance. It pulled me out of the story and made certain moments feel uncomfortable rather than swoon-worthy.
While the premise was promising and the atmosphere was fun, the dynamic between the leads just didn’t work for me due to those boundaries being crossed.

A workplace romance AND he’s obsessed. Need I say more? AND he has a British accent. Like, are we joking??? Oh, and he’s also a Swiftie!!! Perfection over here!
Sloane, our strong firecracker of an FMC, is an absolute GEM. She’s a hoot! I adore her. Wilder, while he comes off as arrogant and cocky, has a heart of gold and is so much more than his flirty playboy persona. Wilder is downright OBSESSED with Sloane in the cutest way! We all deserve a man like him, ladies. I ate up every little thing about these two together, down to the innocent forehead kisses he gave her to the STEAMING tension between them!
Also worth mentioning that I LOVED the addition of Wilder's little brother and Sloane's niece; they added a warm, comedic touch to the story!
As much as I enjoyed this read, I did have a big problem with it, unfortunately. While this was super cute and romantic, things between our main characters were super lustful sometimes, and I really hated that with EVERY FIBER of my being. When a seemingly sweet and tender romance turns lustful, it takes off stars for me.
All in all, aside from the lustful turn this took, I had so much fun tagging along on this hilarious, heartwarming love story!

Jilted is another well written and captivating story. This was unputdownable read and I binge read it in one sitting . In true Ms Keeland style the story was witty and at the same time emotionally charged romance . Sloane is obsessed with everything wedding related and she was jilted . She is working for a bride magazine and while covering a wedding she meets Wilder . The first time these two meet was cute . The chemistry between these two was amazing. Wider is perfect for her. He had his work cut out with all the walls Sloane had . It was a beautifully written romance where he fall firsts and works to win her heart. Another great story by Ms Keeland . If I could would give it more than five stars 🌟

I had so much fun reading this book. A jilted bride working for a bridal magazine who gets roped into writing a feature of twelve weddings she has to attend where the boss’s son is always around playing groomsman.
Slow burn ✔️
Enemies to Lovers ✔️
Laugh out Loud banter ✔️
This book is rom-com magic. It’s so much fun. It’s so sweet. It’s perfect.

This was a very frustrating book, the lead character and the premise of the book jsut didn't work for me, she is smaret and knowledgable and so unself-aware, it made me crazy. I listened to the audio book and the narrator was good.

What a fun read! I enjoyed every second of the banter, the spice, and the laugh out loud moments. Left-at-the-alter is such a gut wrenching trope but who doesn’t love a good second chance at love redemption?! Sloane and Wilder have absolutely electric chemistry.
This story was an easy, fun read
