Wilder is known for his playboy ways but when he meets Sloane he is smitten and wants to date her.
Sloane has sworn off men and relationships since her ex left her at the alter.
When she meets Wilder she just keeps putting him off, she’s attracted to him but doesn’t trust men yet.
When they finally get together it’s magic, they can’t stand being separated.
Jilted is a slow burn love story with heartbreak, laughter and wonderful characters. I absolutely loved it.

What a lovely story! Wilder and Sloane have such great chemistry from the get-go. I enjoyed the wedding series and the podcast. The story is funny and I love the supporting characters. It's very fun to watch how their story unravel. The way WIlder showered Sloane with affection will make you swoon and it was only a matter of time for her to see that she is worth it.
In the surface, the story may seem sweet and romantic but it also tackles diabetes and Parkinson's disease. Vi wrote these sensitive topics with care and as part of daily life.

This heartfelt read about a jilted bride to be a fun, lighthearted read! The cast of characters is fun and the dynamics are great! The slow burn romance is the best part! This is a great weekend read!

This is a lighthearted/funny read.
Sloane works for a magazine that requires her to attend weddings and reports on them. Sloan being a romantic herself had no issues with doing her job until 6 months ago her life was flipped upside down. Now she is on a 1 year ban from men😉
Wilder is a wealthy business man. Wilder is a self proclaimed playboy and does not see it being a problem until he meets sassy Sloane.
With both having things happen in their past they both have trust issues. This was definitely a slow burn romance but the chemistry between Sloane and Wilder was great throughout the whole book.
Can they get over their trust issues or will they prove to be to big of a hurdle to overcome.
Thank you NetGally and Vi Keeland for the ARC e-book and this is my review and unbiased opinion.

I didn’t want to stop reading Jilted, but I didn’t want it to end.
Sloane Carrick loved weddings since she was 7 years old so writing about them for Bride Magazine is a dream job. But since being left at the altar, her dream job isn’t so dreamy.
While covering a wedding, Sloane catches the eye of groomsman Wilder Hayes, a gorgeous, rich playboy who’s used to having any woman he wants.
But Sloane isn’t any woman. So let the wooing begin.
The story is heart melting, adorable and emotional. I loved simultaneously watching Wilder and their love grow.
The generational NYPD and FDNY family element, and the Carrick bar were an enjoyable bonus to this story.
Pre-order Jilted and circle May 6 on your calendar.
Will be available in Kindle Unlimited. There’s also a deluxe paperback edition available for pre-order that I promptly ordered before I even finished the book.

Sloane is on a dating ban and Wilder is happy with his life as a bachelor. She never expects to learn he is her boss’s son after they connect at a wedding. Neither of them is interested in dating, but they also can’t seem to stop thinking about each other.
I loved this!! Sloane and Wilder had such great banter and the connection was undeniable! I loved how neither of them felt like they needed to change who they were. Instead they learned to fit into each other’s lives! I loved both of their families and I hope to see them again!!

Wow, what a story!
Wilder used to play professional rugby. He lives in London, but his father owns Bride’s Magazine amongst other things, so he does travel back and forth to the states, as he’s in the process of starting his own rugby team in the US. Sloane covers weddings for Bride’s Magazine and does an online interactive show on weddings once a week. They meet at a wedding she’s covering for one of Wilder’s college friends, which she is asked to make into sort of a series for the year, since all the college friends are getting married within that year. She’s always been obsessed with weddings since she was a little girl. One problem for her is that she was jilted at the alter of her own wedding. Wilder has his own issues with past relationships, too. I guess you could say he was jilted, too, in a way. But they can’t take their eyes off one another. Another problem Sloane faces is that Wilder’s father is her boss. This is only the background to this story. There are things and feelings and secrets that come out with twists and turns that are surprising to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I always look forward to Vi Keeland’s books. She is a great writer and author.

I am a huge fan of Vi Keeland's books and always get excited when there is a new one to read. Jilted is a slow burn romance between Sloane and Wilder. She is a writer for Bride magazine, and he is a former Rugby player and soon to be owner of a professional team. He also is the son of the owner of the magazine she works for. They meet at a wedding when she is covering it for the magazine and the courting begins.
Wilder is smitten with Sloane from the start, but Sloane is coming off a breakup and has sworn off men for the time being.
I just loved their connection and banter from the start. There were many sweet moments as they were getting to know each other. The way Wilder made Sloane realize her worth and to not settle was heartwarming.
I also enjoyed the chapters that went back in time to Wilder's past to delve a bit deeper into his prior relationships. He definitely evolved over time as he was pursing Sloane. Sloane also had to let down her walls and see all that Wilder was offering her.
Although I am not usually a fan of slow burn romance, this felt like it moved at just the right pace. I really enjoyed Jilted and loved Sloane and Wilder! Another great story from vi Keeland!

Jilted by Vi Keeland is a stand-alone romance. It's a really fun, cute read. Although it's kind of a slow-burn romance, Sloane and Wilder had crazy chemistry, and their banter had me laughing out loud throughout the entire book. I loved the whole premise of the story, and I would definitely recommend it.

Get ready for the fairytale! Sloane is left at the altar by Josh, her douchebag ex. She has her family—her Dad and brothers. She works for Bride magazine and in doing a series of weddings she meets Wilder, an ex rugby player. With her heart guarded, she can’t help but fall, but will he catch her? I loved this heart melting story. The side characters steal the show. It makes you want to live in the pages of this book! 5 amazing stars

I really loved this book. Sloane and Wilder were a perfect match for each other. They both had issues with past relationships they both needed to overcome. They had been burned by people they thought they could trust. Sloane was extremely cautious because of her ex leaving her at the alter like he did, and because of Wilder's wild ways with his relationships with women. Sloane wasn't sure Wilder was the commitment type.
While Wilder never planned on being in a relationship again after what his last serious relationship did to him, there was something about Sloane that made him want to move past all the hurt and towards a future with her. But he knew it wouldn't be easy because of how he has lived his life for many years. One thing that I loved about Wilder was how slowly he was falling in love with Sloane and he didn't even realize it. He was doing so many things for her that he would never have thought of doing for anyone else ever.
I loved Sloane's family and how that even though they were somewhat cautious with Wilder, they really all liked him a lot. I loved this slow burn romance so much.

So, so good! Not only did I virtually read Jilted in one sitting, but I’d also give it six stars if that were possible. Used to Keeland’s wicked humour, she didn’t waste time putting it to work in a meet-cute that had me creasing up. No, seriously, there is much more to her love story than just a good laugh. I’m a glutton for slow burn tension, which she delivered impeccably, and although it’s character-driven, the plot flows seamlessly from start to finish.
Wilder Hayes is a hunky ex-professional rugby player, entrepreneur and a reputed ladies' man who as it turns out is one of his buddy’s groomsmen at a wedding where the lovely Sloane Carrick is doing a write-up for Bride magazine. Seated together, the fun begins.
I liked Sloane a lot. She’s super-easy to connect to, and seeing that she’s lost the wedding groove for reasons to be divulged–well, the book’s title gives a significant clue–she still does a top-notch job advising those who want to tie the knot broadcasting live on her social media platform.
Whilst Wilder brings baggage to the table, Keeland cleverly kept me guessing what fears he has with sporadic flashbacks. And, of course, we get to see what happened to Sloane and why she’s relationship-shy. So, who falls first is for you readers to find out.
I truly loved their families’ vibes. Two teens navigating growing pains, Wilder and Sloane’s dads always at the ready when they need them, her protective brothers, and not to mention Elijah and Andrew, the respective best mates. Ooh, and what I especially enjoyed were the London sightseeing scenes.
As well as the emotional depth that goes beyond these two’s chemistry–he’s genuinely caring and a real sweetie pie; witty banter and one-liners abound. However, it’s not all cupcakes and rainbows. Sensitive subject matter was told with the utmost empathy, far from spoiling my reading pleasure. Last but not least, the sizzling steaminess! Gosh, saying it’s off the charts would be putting it lightly and get ready for the twist, which I never saw coming.
This is, without a doubt, my kind of read, and I hope all you romance lovers will also get lost in Wilder and Sloane’s delightful story. Bravo, Keeland!
Many thanks to Bramble/MacMillan for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Sloane has always held on to having a fairytale love and wedding, but 6 months ago she was left at the altar. Unfortunately, it’s hard for Sloane to move on from that painful moment because not only was her dream wedding ruined but she also works at a bridal magazine and has to attend a wedding per month. When she meets Wilder at a wedding, she has to learn to heal from her past if she wants to follow her heart & fall for him.
Characters: Slone is relatable and funny. She also is a true romantic with a bit of a painful past love life. Her family is wonderful and supportive. I was worried at first because her brother and dad are in the police and Fire department but they were wonderfully feminist men with “masculine” jobs (whew).
Wilder is my new fav book boyfriend. He’s everything I would want. Rich, handsome, strong, successful, romantic, protective but respectful. Ahhhhh I love him! His traumatic past was a bit overly dramatic but it made the third act conflict more effective.
Plot: the characters and the plot drove the story in equal measure so it didn’t feel too focused on miscommunication or too soapy. It was a great balance. I had fun along the whole way and didn’t even realize how close I was to finishing it when I was at 85%!
5 stars: would recommend to everyone!! It’s going on my favorites shelf and I will buy it once it comes out in print!

Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Publishing Group for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I had a lot of fun with this one! Wilder’s energy, effort, and intentions were everything. Some might say it was instalove, but I disagree! He knew he enjoyed her company quickly, so he wanted to get to know her. Sloane was also pretty cool and I adored her family.
I’m not sure how I feel about Wilder’s flashbacks to his relationship with Whitney. They didn’t really seem necessary, but I loved his POV during the present.
I wish everything wasn’t wrapped up so quickly, but overall it was a good time!

Awww.... the playboy turned swoon master. In a game of playing hard to get, Sloane had reservations about Wilder. Oh, she was definitely attracted to him, but he came on pretty strong, and she didn't feel he was truly interested in her for more than a good time. Learning more about him didn't help matters. Plus there's the fact she was still getting over a broken relationship, having recently been left at the alter. But Wilder's love language is Gift Giving, and he doesn't not disappoint. Of course he has his own history that could very well destroy everything he's been working to build with Sloane. The characters are a delight. Quite lovable. The book reads easily and quickly and was hard to put down. I really liked that the Hero and Heroine are smart and mature with their feelings. Admitting when they over-reacted or acted irrational and willing to apologize and accept the consequences. There are some laughs throughout. No Kleenex needed but there are a couple emotional scenes. And yes, there is some sexual content that is suitable for mature readers.
*I received a copy of this book from Netgalley.

Omg! I'm giddy after finishing this one and I absolutely loved this book. I was torn between devouring this book because I couldn't get enough of Wilder and Sloane and reading every page slowly because I wanted to savour each word, this book was that amazing !! 💞💞
Wilder and Sloane met in a wedding while she is working for her article and he is a groomsman. Wilder is gone for her the moment he sees her and is totally obsessed from the get go while Sloane is also interested but she is also hesitant due to her past relationship. Thus starts the push and pull between them with the best banter and chemistry. Seriously the banter and the words out of Wilders mouth kept me smiling through out the book.
It's a perfect romance that will give you all the butterflies!! Definitely a must read! ❤️❤️❤️

Sloane has always been obsessed with weddings until her own leaves her jilted at the alter. To make matters worse she works at Bride magazine, serving as a daily reminder of her heartache. While covering a wedding she hits it off with a blue-eyed charmer who just so happens to be the owner of Bride magazine’s son and a huge commitment phobe. Can the two of them put their past behind them to give their relationship a real chance?
Jilted was a fast and fun contemporary slow burn romance that reminded me of 27 Dresses meets Beach Read. I cruised through this in one evening. I liked the mix of funny banter with some more series themes thrown in there. I’m a big fan of how the main characters were able to communicate with each other and how open and honest their relationship was. The side characters were also lovable. This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be checking out others.
Trigger warnings: cheating partner (not the main characters), Parkinson’s, Diabetes, Death of a parent.
Thank you for the ARC!

Vi Keeland books are always a good read, but I have to be honest, this one surprised me. I read it in 2 days due to how good it is and I was not expecting that at all.
This book follows Sloane and Wilder, two people in different life stages and with different views of how their lives will play out, that end up to become everything to one another,
Sloane is a write and content creator for a bridal magazine, that finds herself part of a bridal party at one of her assignments. What she was not expecting was to be paired with the owner of the most amazing pair of azure blue eyes, Wilder. Wilder is a former player (in and out the field), and when he meets Sloane, something changes that he finds himself wanting something more that just the chase,
The slow burn, banter and chemistry between these characters is amazing, and leaves you wanting more with each page read. Vi manages also, to include several real-life topics within this story but without making it too heavy on the reader,
Overall a truly easy and very enjoyable read!

I loved this book! Wilder the wild playboy MMC falls first fast and hard in this one. Sloane the FMC is sweet and funny but guarded. Both have past experiences that are shaping the current decisions. The secondary characters in the book are fantastic, especially Elijah who made me laugh out loud with his sassy one liners. This is a low spice, slow burn with mutual pining that I didn’t want to stop reading! Wonderfully enjoyable read!

This was good! A nice eacape from reality.
Who doesn't love a transformed man whore? You know when the MFC is just so amazing that he can't help but change his ways. Ridiculous and wonderful. Wilder was easy to swoon over.
There were a few potentially triggering topics that were mentioned but handled carefully. I would check warnings if there are things you are sensitive to.
