Jilted by Vi Keeland is the perfect slow burn! I've been a fan of her books from the start, and this one completely did it for me.
Sloane has spent her life dreaming about weddings-so much so that she works for a bridal magazine. But when her own wedding day arrives, she's left at the altar.
Despite the heartbreak, she returns to her career in the bridal industry, though facing weddings every day makes it even harder.
While working an event, she gets unexpectedly pulled into a Bridezilla's wedding, filling in as a last-minute bridesmaid. That's when she's paired with Wilder-a gorgeous man with mesmerizing eyes. Their chemistry is undeniable, and while Sloane insists she isn't dating, Wilder has other plans.
This book shows the ups and downs of Wilder and Sloane's friendship and love story. Wilder is just the sweetest, and Sloane is just as loveable. You will want nothing but the best for these two.
This story was sweet, spicy, and everything in between.
Vi Keeland knows how to hook you into a story and not let go!

After being left at the altar, Sloane's confidence has taken a bit of a beating. She loves her job working for a big bridal magazine though so she is often at weddings. At one, she meets Wilder. When it turns out that Wilder will be at weddings she will attend for the next few months and he starts to show an interest in her, Sloane needs to decide whether he's worth giving a chance.

Vi Keeland's romances are always such addictive reads. She has a way of wording her stories that you just can't help reading 'just one more chapter'. Wilder was such a sweetheart, the way he moved slowly, constantly reassuring Sloane about his intentions. Their relationship was sweet, funny and full of witty banter. I appreciated the diabetes representation with Sloane being a diabetic too. If you enjoy slow burn romances that explode in delight by the end, you'll love this one!

This is a cute book. Sloane is obsessed with weddings and loves everything weddings. That is, until she gets left at the alter.
The problem is she works at a bridal magazine and her job is literally weddings.
When she is stuck covering a particular wedding for the magazine, she gets roped into being a bridesmaid to a Bridezilla where she meets ex-rugby player Wilder Hayes.
This book turns into a slow-burn romance. Sloane and Wilder have witty dialogue and interactions. If you are looking for a "he falls first" second chance, contemporary romance, this is a good book! Sloane changes Wilder's playboy ways. Main characters have a great chemistry and plenty of spice. Reminded me of a mix between 27 dresses and The Wedding Date movies.
Dual POV.

I ateeeee this book up! I really would have finished it so much faster if I didn’t have to be an adult and go to work. This book really was the slowest of buuuurns. There would be times where I was like, “Alright, this is it! Finally!” Then he would give her a little kiss goodbye and my lizard brain would cry. This book really had it all though, it had the hilarious banter, dual POV, the slow burn, and the spice🤌🏻

Sloan really did steal my heart, like she just wanted her dream guy and dream wedding like all of us want and then man slut Wilder shows up and just plows through everything she thought she needed in her life. I also love when both sides have a story to tell and not only did they both come from broken relationships but they learned that they both could find love again within one another.

Wilder also broke my heart when you find out why he has been the way he has been for a long time. When I read that chapter my heart really did shatter for him. I was so happy they both got their happy ending. You know a book is good when you want to keep reading for another 30 chapters when it finally comes to an end. I would also die if there was a book for Olivia and Lucas for them in the future or even a YA? I definitely would read that!

🌶️🌶️/5

Who doesn't love a good wedding? Sloane spends all her time attending weddings.  She is constantly consumed by everything and anything weddings, but is still feeling the fallout from being abandoned at the alter the year before.  Her once enjoyable job at Bride magazine as turned into anything but.  Then welcome Wilder into the picture, who she can't stand at all and that's putting it nicely.  Now she has to spend the rest of the season working along side him.  Now, what do you get when a Jilted bride and a man afraid of love spend every waking moment together?  You get a terrific read! Highly recommend!

What a swoony, slow-burn romcom! I ate this book up in less than a day.

This is packed with sweet moments, wit, and chemistry galore. I love myself a man-obsessed.

I appreciated the little glimpses into his past and the character development they both went through.
All in all a very cute, quick and low stakes romance that will keep you hooked.

Right up front, I’ll be honest that I DNF this book at 70%. I’ve never been a huge fan of the play boy trope, but I thought I would try again. And now I’ve discovered a sub-trope I don’t like. Sloane is on a dating moratorium and Wilder says he’ll wait for her for six months, but continues to push up against her boundaries. Like, over and over and over. And it’s supposed to be considered sweet, but I found it annoying and troubling. And it made me realize why I’ve never liked this sub-trope: the people who need boundaries the most are the ones who are constantly pushing them. That’s a red flag to me. Do better, Wilder. I know the author has tried to create a male with more depth, but I was more than 2/3rds through the book and had only seen glimpses of the past that shaped him and would maybe, possibly be a redeeming factor? Ultimately, I was that far through the book and didn’t care how either one of them ended up.

4.5 ⭐️ I absolutely devoured this. I was hooked from the first chapter.

Sloane works for a bridal magazine writing articles about weddings but she herself was recently left at the altar at her own wedding. She is sent in to cover a wedding at the request of her boss where she ends up covering for a bridesmaid and meets Wilder our MMC with the stunning blue/green eyes. A dance, cupcake and one make out session in a coat closet later our characters part ways. The magazine Sloane works for has decided to make a series following this group of friends and Wilder just so happens be a groomsmen in all of these weddings. Oh, did I mention he’s also her boss’s son.

I loved that the characters felt like realistic characters, they both had flaws and that’s what really made the story for me. I also loved the relationships the main characters had with side characters, like Sloane’s brothers and dad.

I highly recommend! I will definitely be reading more from this author!

Thank you Netgalley and Tor Publishing for this ARC!

Book Title: Jilted
Author: Vi Keeland
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Jilted,” a steamy romance novel by Vi Keeland, follows Sloan, a wedding journalist, after she’s left at the altar - leaving her jilted and swearing off men. A little while later, Sloan’s magazine decides to document a series of weddings over several months, following a group of fraternity friends. At the first wedding, Sloan crosses paths with Wilder, one of the groomsmen, setting the stage for their epic romance.

I knew I was going to love this book right after reading the dedication. The MMC is swoon worthy and the FMC is very relatable. This book was one I picked up and finished in one setting (staying up until the early hours of the morning to finish). It is definitely a 5⭐️ read.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my gosh! Like always, this story had me in a vise since page 1! I devoured every page! I loved Sloane and Wilder’s love story!

I absolutely loved this book—I couldn’t put it down! Sloan and Wilder were such fun, relatable, and genuinely likable characters. The slow burn was perfection, with the most delicious build up. There was just the right mix of banter, spice, swoon, and sweetness. I’m a total sucker for an obsessed man, and Wilder had my heart pitter-pattering the entire time. He was everything. This was my first Vi Keeland book, but it definitely won’t be my last—I’m hooked!

Thank you so much to NetGalley for providing me an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This was absolute perfection!

I was lucky enough to get an early review copy through NetGalley and I stayed up so late reading because I could not put it down!

Sloane works for a Bridal magazine covering weddings and after she was recently left at the altar, she’s decided to swear off men for a year. While working a wedding, she meets Wilder and ends up in a coat closet with him. Getting assigned to weddings with the same friend group for the next year, and other reasons, she runs into Wilder over and over again.

Wilder hasn’t had a relationship longer than two months in a decade and is the definition of a playboy, but he is smitten by Sloane and wears her down. Under the witty and crass Wilder is a true sweetheart and the connection and growth between the two of them is my absolute favorite. Vi Keeland knows how to write banter and a slow burn that had me giggling one minute and swooning the next.

I will never not read one of Vi’s book and will definitely be rereading when audio releases!

Thank you so much for the early copy!

Jilted by Vi Keeland is an enemies to lovers, slow burn, workplace romance that was FANTASTIC!

Sloane loves everything about love and weddings, until she is left at the altar by her fiancé. While working as a writer for Bride magazine, she meets Wilder, an arrogant yet gorgeous man who ends up being the son of her bosses, bosses boss. Jilted is full of sexy back and forth banter, humor, wit and magnetizing chemistry. I truly loved everything about Sloane and Wilder, from their meet-cute to happily ever after. I also love the supporting characters and family members and love how they were integrated into the story. This book just gave me all the feels, 6 out of 5 stars!

Thank you to Netgalley, Tor Publishing Group, and the author for this e-ARC.

Jilted by Vi Keeland is a captivating romance that delivers plenty of emotion, sizzling chemistry, and a satisfying storyline. While the plot kept me invested, I found the banter between the main characters to be more forced than charming, sometimes pulling me out of the story rather than enhancing their connection. Despite that, the romance itself was well-developed, and the emotional depth made up for the dialogue issues. Overall, it’s an enjoyable read with a few hiccups.

I loved this book so much! Sloane loved and obsessed over all things weddings until she was left at the alter by her fiancé who decided he still loved his ex. She’s even a writer for Bride Magazine. She’s covering a wedding when she has to step in for a Bridesmaid and meets Wilder. He’s a hot, rugby star, and not the type to settle down. I absolutely loved Sloane and Wilder’s story! It didn’t disappoint!

Jilted by Vi Keeland is a fun, slow burn romance with all the feels that left me thinking about the characters long after I had finished reading.

Sloane has a job covering weddings and writing about them. It's a dream job she loved until she was left at the alter herself. Detesting weddings now, it seems every bride she is covering is a bridezilla and she hates every minute covering the weddings and receptions. Enter Wider, the arrogant, insanely gorgeous son of her bosses, bosses, boss. They meet at his buddies wedding and are immediately attracted to each other though he is a real pain. Not to mention, she has sworn off men and he doesn't commit to any woman.

If you're up for a wonderful read with off the charts attraction yet reasons not to get together, this is the perfect book for you! I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to enjoy this fantastic story!
Of course you know if Vi Keeland wrote it, it's assured to be fabulous!

Vi Keeland is always an automatic ready for me. I'm really surprised that the word I would us to describe this book is juvenile.

Sloane has been obsessed with weddings her entire life. When she's finally at the alter the groom doesn't show up. I wish the book talked more about her wedding and how it's affecting her job. Her relationship with Wilder was cute at times to watch but the first meet was a meet eh instead of meet cute.

Wilder is the bachelor rugby player who is so hot people can't help but feel captivated by him. I struggled to find something deeper about him besides the color of his eyes. There were a bunch of things that happened during his point of view that I felt was unnecessary. His best friend and the situation with his girl friend, a random chapter with him at Harvard and the scene where his coach made his Caribbean nurse put braids in his hair???? How did any of that contribute to the plot??

Thank you Netgalley for the early copy!!

Ohhhh boy! If I could give Jilted a 100-Star rating, I would. This story had me all over the place. My heart raced, sank and swelled, while my eyes were tear-filled at times.

Jilted is jam-packed with sexy back and forth, humor, wit and magnetizing chemistry. I truly loved everything about Sloane and Wilder. From their meet cute, to their in between, to their conclusion.

The connection between these two is just so lovely. I love that Wilder is tried and true. Willing to jump all in. And Sloane, even though she is timid-hearted, she is strong and has such a good heart.

This story has real life situations that capture your heart. The character development is true perfection and Vi Keeland knows how to grab you and bring you in. I love this story - SO MUCH!! Don’t sleep on this one. You will love it too!

Thanks NetGalley for an early copy of this book!

I know once I see Vi Keelands name on a book - I’m getting an amazing story with characters I’ll just love instantly!!

A jilted bride having to cover others weddings? . For an entire year. Does not sound like a great time to me.
It’s not exactly what Sloane wanted to commit to either, but had no choice.

But when she meets Wilder at the first wedding…. She might just change her mind if he’ll be at them…. And let’s just say, the instant attraction is fire!

Wilder is sexy, charismatic, arrogant and fun all wrapped into one spicy package!

Elijah said it best…. They had some crazy chemistry zinging between them.

I love this story and think yall will to!
