Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this ebook!

The story overall was interesting and definitely face paced. So much happens in this one book alone. I will say the writing at times was a little bit all over the place at times, so keeping up with it sometimes got difficult. The plot kept me intrigued the whole time. We have lots of different tropes in here: soulmates, insta-love, pregnancy, multi-creature society (vampires, Lycans, humans, and Elves).

As I know this is a self-published book, I understand, but definitely could have done with a bit more editing in my opinion, but again, it didn’t ruin the book for me or anything.

Overall, a good full circle story for me that had a whole bunch of tropes and things I like. Orion and Livia were a good couple and love story.

Vampire King's Consort is an enthralling journey through a world of forbidden love and deep-seated rivalries between humans, vampires, and lycans. The story follows Livia, a human whose troubled past brings her to the doorstep of the vampire king, Orion. Despite the barriers and his initial hostility, there’s an undeniable pull between them, igniting a romance that defies their divided world. I was completely swept up in the tension and chemistry between Livia and Orion, and I couldn’t put it down. The way the story unfolds keeps you turning the pages, rooting for love in a world stacked against it

Alright, this book is the rollercoaster romance I didn’t know I needed! Picture this: Livia’s dragging all her baggage up to the vampire king’s doorstep, and just when you think he’ll throw her out, he’s like, “Wait… maybe not.” The sparks between Livia and Orion are so good, and the whole humans-vampires-lycans feud? Makes it even juicier! If you love a bit of mystery, danger, and romance with a side of supernatural politics, Vampire King’s Consort is calling your name. 🦇

I really enjoyed reading this book, it had that vampire element that I was looking for from the description. The characters had that feel that worked in this type of book. It had that romance element that I wanted and was glad everything flowed in a great story. M.J. Sweets wrote this perfectly and am glad I got to read this.

There is a book call Bride by a trending author. It's has mixed reviews because it tried this plot and it's not great. However, this author executed this amazingly. The articulation, development, etc. all great.
