Ryuichi is just adorable. I feel so bad for him. He has no family and everyone is terrible to him. He can’t trust anyone.

He has inherited powers from his mother and he must learn how to master the powers. He needs to protect the gates that separate the mortal world from the realm of demons!

There was so much going on in the book. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I definitely was stressed the entire time I read the book because I just wanted everything to work out for Ryuichi. But he learns how to overcome so many things, he strong. What a wild ride. I’d definitely recommend this book! I’m looking forward to the rest of the series!
