See How They Fall by Rachel Paris. Get this book on your list, I absolutely loved it!
It’s about three brothers and their families who reunite at the family estate after their father’s passing. Tension boils over when an illegitimate heir shows up, and a tragic event starts the ball rolling to reveal everyone’s secrets and lies.
I really enjoyed how fast paced this book was, the action started straight away, my jaw was dropping and there was often a cliffhanger ending to each chapter which made it pretty much impossible to put down. I liked the different points of view, I got to follow the investigation with Mei, the detective on the case, who is also dealing with issues of her own.
I recommend this to anyone who loves a quick, addictive, twisty thriller. I didn’t pick the ending and I didn’t know who to trust, who was innocent, and who was guilty. I honestly loved this book, it’s an easy 5⭐️.
Thankyou SO MUCH to @rachelparisauthor @hachetteaus @hachettenz @moapress @netgalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy, this is my honest review.

Paris’ debut domestic thriller ticks all the boxes- twists and turns and interesting characters. It was hard to put down. You’re grabbed immediately from the start and it keeps up a good pace the whole way through. I enjoyed all the different plot developments , some I guessed, others took me completely by surprise. As well as the whodunnit element it also cover a range of different topics- toxic males/ misogyny, post partum psychosis and infertility.

Set in Sydney, it was interesting to get a peek behind the scenes of the ultra rich.
Told from a dual point of view we get to know the mother of the victim, Skye Turner and police detective Mei O’Connor. Both women were interesting, flawed and you just wanted to see them both succeed. A clever and gripping thriller perfect for fans of Sally Hepworth, Kelli Hawkins and Liane Moriarty.
