I will say the ending was well thought out but I was able to guess what had happened.

I went into this book having no idea what it was about and this cover gives nothing away! I highly recommend you read it this way too!


All I will say is that this is a dual timeline story that surrounds the cast of a popular teen show, the drama that happens infront and behind the camera anddddddd a death or two *gaspppp*

There were times that I felt the past part was a little slow and repetitive but overall the whole book is a very binge-able popcorn thriller. I enjoyed this from start to finish and no I didn’t figure it out.

This was a pretty mediocre thriller about a group of young actors on a soapy teen drama and the trauma they went through. It was pretty cheesy overall but the twist did get me!

Bailey gets better every book! HELLO, JULIET is a clever and propulsive thriller that examines the high price of fame. With a shocking twist and satisfying epilogue, this is one not to be missed.

I read this one in one sitting - I actually had someone come up to me at the pool and ask what I was reading because I couldn’t put it down . Definitely a unique story and some interesting twists

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well-developed and the story kept me engaged from start to finish. If you’re a fan of Samantha Bailey, you will definitely enjoy this book. I absolutely recommend this book to others!

I’ve loved this book for the most part. It had me going back-and-forth on who I thought it was. I was so sure. I figured it out a few times, but the surprise was very entertaining. I enjoyed the depth of the different characters. My main issue was there was just a few lines that made my full body cringe.

you are a fan of WB (now CW) teen dramas, you must add "Hello, Juliet" to your TBR list. It encapsulates everything you love about those shows: secrets, lies, jealousy, backstabbing, and friendships/romances. However, this story also adds a twist of murder.

The story unfolds across two timelines: one in 2014, during the peak of the show "Hello, Juliet," and the other in the present day, 2024. Integrating social media posts and snippets from Hollywood gossip magazines adds an entertaining layer to the story. I enjoyed both timelines equally. The past storyline effectively blurs the boundaries between the show's plot and reality and exposes the darker aspects of fame. Meanwhile, the present timeline unravels the mystery. I had a few guesses about who was pulling the strings—some of them turned out to be correct, although my reasoning didn’t quite match Bailey’s brilliant storytelling. Overall,
great twists in the story that kept me invested to the end!

I’m not usually a fan of epilogues, but I did like this one. What a great conclusion!

Samantha Bailey knows how to write a story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. Along the way you make so many theories, judge so many characters, yet rarely end up wholly correct. Hello, Juliet was no exception. I truly was duped, I had no suspicions. That makes a solid thriller for me!

I liked the juxtaposition between present day, past and the media outlet chapters. It kept the story moving quickly and provided key context in a smart way.

Once again, Bailey hits it out of the park with her latest thriller "Hello Juliet". The novel is set around Ivy Westcott who was in a hit TV series in her younger days. She hasn't spoken to her co-stars in years, despite the closeness they once had. Ivy arrives on set, only to find her former best friend dead. I really enjoyed the fast pace that this book provides. I will say, I did figure this one out, but wasn't sure. The novel moves around from past v present.

Obviously the author watched lots of teen TV dramas, so if you want to read about behind-the scenes shenanigans or PR hype you won’t be able to put this book down. The writing drew me right into the story. Ivy, Lauren, Jesse, and Caleb are the main characters and the book alternates between their heyday as the stars of Hello Juliet and the present, when a reunion show is going to be filmed. I loved the unexpected reveals and how we learned about the characters, including Ivy’s overprotective mom/manager and the writer/showrunner Mack. I didn’t have a clue about who the culprit was until close to the end because there were so many red herrings, so the big reveal was great! 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

Wow, it felt like this story was REAL! I couldn’t put this down to the point I was still reading even when I was in church waiting for the mass to start. I love reading Hollywood themed books sprinkled with mystery and unexpected twists! Though right from the start, I already have a feeling who might be the culprit and I was right! Although I got the suspect correct, still, all the twists and turns were unexpected—so many secrets and lies! I am satisfied with the ending and highly recommend!

Holy cow this book did NOT go the way I thought it would!! I finished it this morning and my eyes almost literally popped out! This will make all the spring bestseller lists, DO NOT MISS IT!!

Ivy Westcott beat all the odds when she was cast in the lead role for a popular series Hello, Juliet. Although Ivy struggled with newfound fame and the mercurial producer, Mack, she had formed close friendships with her castmates. When the series and her career ended in tragedy, she fled Hollywood with her mother/manager. Now a decade later, Ivy is contacted to participate in a reunion episode. However when she shows up for filming, the studio is dark and deserted and there is no sign of the producer or her fellow cast members, except for the one murdered in their dressing room.

For most of this novel, I was blaming one character or another for all the terrible things happening to Ivy…and I did not guess correctly. I also questioned how she ever got into performing in the first place because she is so uncertain of herself and ill-equipped to deal with fame. However all these questions are answered and everything makes more sense at the conclusion of the novel. It is a quick read, particularly in the second half when the pace picks up. Anyone who was a fan of teenage dramas when they were at their peak, think The O.C., Dawson’s Creek or Gossip Girl, would likely enjoy this one.

Hello, Juliet follows Ivy, a former tv star on the hit show Hello, Juliet, as she prepares to reunite for the first time in years with the cast after the show tragically ended. She quickly realizes she might be in danger when the reunion goes awry, and she wants to be the first to solve the mystery of who is targeting herself and her cast mates both in the past and present.

I thought this was okay! I enjoyed it enough, I just find that the author’s writing is never as good as her first book which I absolutely loved. I didn’t really enjoy her second and thought this was average. For me, this had too much going on, the flashbacks, the press and social media snippets were useful in crafting the full story, but it felt like a bit too much in both timelines, and then at the end so much had to be resolved. In the present timeline, it’s a short period of time, somewhat predictable, and I don’t know how satisfying the ending was as again, there were multiple people involved in multiple situations. I liked the uniqueness of the idea, but Ivy was very dependent and didn’t make the right decisions, she seemed to not see what was right in front of her. This is such a twisted and suspenseful thriller. The characters are multifaceted. The twists and turns were unpredictable. The book will keep you guessing till the end. Author did an amazing job. Narrated in dual timeline. Expect the unexpected, unthinkable happenings, secrets, revelations, and unpredictable twists. The ending was shocking. I loved it and highly recommend it
