Cute book club kit, the book itself is very cozy I really liked it, with this kit I felt like I could start my own book club

I seriously can’t put into words how much I loved this book! Everything about it brought me so much joy. The idea of Holidays being royalty was such a fun and creative concept, and their world was pure magic. It felt like watching my favorite Christmas movies for the first time as a kid... It gave me that same cozy, nostalgic feeling. The characters were absolutely perfect! Funny, charming, adorable and now that I finished reading it I find myself constantly missing them. This was the perfect Book Club read! It's been a while since I've found myself smiling so much while reading a book, now I’m just wishing I could experience it all over again!

This kit is great. Helps with the talking points, book clubs, and social media platforms. I highly recommend if you need it.

I feel like this would be great for a certain kind of book club. It certainly feels like the guide wants to help the reader engage with the text in a group setting (the whole point of a book club), but I did feel like many of the prompt discussion questions are very shallow in nature. The discussion seems to hinge more on the overall aesthetic of the book rather than delving into the themes. It does discuss the themes a bit, so it's not too bad, but I feel like there could be more depth to the discussion questions. Outside of that I think the interview with the author is well done, and the bonus materials, like the bookmarks, party games, and themed drinks are wonderful. As a book club guide for a group leaning more towards having a fun book themed party rather than a deep text discussion, I think it works great. Given the lighthearted nature of the book itself, I think this will fit most of the individuals looking for a book club guide, but I still feel it could have delved deeper on analysis and theme for more lit focused book clubs.

This book club kit had great questions and was a wonderful addition for our book club. I would definitely recommend it for others.

Loved the book so this was a cool resource. This will be handy for most book clubs big or small. I enjoyed it.

This kit is perfect for my local readers group! We are not in a formal book club, but love to get together and talk about the books we are all reading. I look forward to trying out the cocktails while doing some of the activities and talking about an amazing book!

Super cute addition to the book for a book club. Tried one of the recipes and it was delicious. Loved the little interview.

The Nightmare before Kissmass was definitely a favourite in my bookcircle when we read it back in the winter months of 2024. Many of the questions created in the "Book Club Kit" were things which we had discussed – particularly the question about seeing another characters perspective on the situation. We all agreed that Iris would be the most interesting perspective as it pertains to Coals story; but also (having read Go Luck Yourself) I personally would've loved to see Iris have her own book. It'd make a perfect trilogy of the groupchat which we as readers get to see from Raasch. Imagine how many more jokes Raasch could write into another book if Iris got her own book with an equal amount of drama as the boys. But that's perhaps too much focus on the book. This book club kit offered a lot of great material which my book club will definitely be utilizing in the coming winter of 2025. The Biters and Sips section offers inspiration as well as the actual foods that were in the book which my book club will be excited to test out during an evening of reading together. Equally the bookmarks are fantastic – however perhaps it would've been fun to see a scene on the sled? When Hex falls off the sled and is in a pile of snow with Coal in the front on the sled looking shocked? (Maybe that's too much to be desired, sorry.) But truthfully, the pumpkins with the christmas hats and the "Joy created magic" sides are perfect because they could be used not only for this series but other holiday themed books as well – even if not thematically. As for the playlist I was a bit confused because how is this a music list about a book about Christmas without Michael Buble and his "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"? Could be cultural differences I guess but "How to save a life" is so strongly Greys Anatomy coded for me that I was missing a true Christmas jam on the playlist. Lastly, as the marry, kiss, banish I have no notes on, the "What to Read Next" section is generic. Many readers will have already heard about "Red, White & Royal Blue" as it is one of the most popular books both on TikTok and under the LGBTQAI+ category. Additionally, it doesn't center itself around Christmas, the biggest event occurs during New Years Eve. I'd recommend putting a less know author on the list for exposure to both that author but also the publisher – mayhaps an upcoming book from a lesser known LGBTQAI+ author? Additionally, on this recommendation list 3 of the 4 works are – or appear to be because of the covers – about white main characters so maybe recommend a more diverse reading list if possible?
All in all, the Nightmare before Kissmas is one of my favourite books and reading this "Book Club Kit" was a joy – even if there were certain things lacking. As Raasch wrote herself, joy created magic and this kit definitely brings more joy to the reading experience of this book.

This book was a super cute MM spin on one of my favorite movies The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The prince of Christmas falls for the dark and mysterious prince of Halloween. Chaos ensues a la Red White & Royal Blue.
Lots of fun banter between MCs and good side character development, which might bloom more in book 2 (wink wink).

This was such a fun book club kit! It has everything! An interview with author, bookmarks to print out, bookclub questions, and recipes for food and drinks! And a music playlist! I mean you literally have everything you need for a whole book club party! There's also other book recs for future book club meetings. 5 out of 5! A lot of thought went into this kit. Enjoy!

this was very helpful. i loved how immersive it was and how it added alot to the bookclub discussion. thank you so much for this.

This was such a cute little read! As a big fan of A Nightmare Before Christmas I could not resist picking this one up because of the title :) And honestly, I am really glad I did. I feel like it is the perfect read for the time in between Halloween and Christmas as it helps not only with the sadness of Halloween being over but at the same time it really adds to the excitement of the holiday period getting closer.
I feel like the idea of the 2 princes was really original and built quite well. I really liked the 2 main characters and how their relationship evolved throughout the story. Will I be reading the next book in the series? Definitely.
Thank you NetGalley for an e-arc of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book club kit is festive, fun, and full of personality—just like the book itself. It offers a great mix of thoughtful discussion prompts and playful extras that made our book club meeting feel more like a holiday party than a typical discussion night (in the best way!).
The author interview added great behind-the-scenes insight, and the content warnings were a helpful and respectful inclusion. The discussion guide covered major themes and character arcs while still leaving room for laughter and lightness—perfect for a holiday rom-com.
We especially loved the “Bites and Sips” recipe list, complete with links—several members brought themed snacks, which added a fun and cozy vibe. The playlist helped set the mood, and the "Kiss, Marry, Banish" game was a hilarious icebreaker that kept us laughing well into the night.
The kit also includes printable bookmarks, a what to read next list, and a helpful breakdown of the author’s and publisher’s other titles—which made it easy to find our next cozy read.
Overall, this is a wonderfully put-together kit that fully embraces the book’s tone and spirit. Highly recommended for romance readers, holiday-themed book clubs, or anyone looking to turn their book discussion into a celebration.

Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for the book club kit!
I originally downloaded this for the discussion questions (which were super helpful) but ended up loving the activities even more! There are cute printable bookmarks, recipe ideas, and fun activities to create the perfect book club meeting.

I loved The Nightmare Before Kissmas. Once I saw this book club kit I immediately requested it. The book club kit is fun for fans of the book, not just book clubs. The kit includes an author interview, exclusive art bookmarks you can print out, recipes with links and images and a kiss, banish, k!ll game. It's so fun. Perhaps I'll add those items to my Halloween book posts because Hex needs some more love.

I initially requested this thinking it included the book along with the kit, but it’s actually just the Book Club Kit with discussion questions, extras, and bookmarks. Since I haven’t read The Nightmare Before Kissmas yet, I didn’t dive into the whole kit to avoid spoilers but I did enjoy the playlist. Looking forward to revisiting the kit once I’ve read the book.
Thank you to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for making these resources available!

I liked all of the content here, but I think that it would be better for the discussions to be separated by chapter, since our group was meeting every week to discuss a section of the book.

This is my first kit and I thought it was great! Our book club always lacks structure so this was a great tool!

Thank you so much to We Are Bookish and NetGalley for the opportunity to check out the Book Club Kit for The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch! Loved this book - so cute. I love the light v. dark nature of their relationship. This kit has an interview with the author, which I felt was pretty revealing about the book and the characters. I also thought the discussion questions were good - a good variety and examined various aspects of the book. I think they'll make for good conversation starters. The printable bookmarks are so cute. The recipes will be amazing to try while chatting about the book. There's some suggestions for what to read next, where I discovered a couple books to add to my TBR. Thanks again for this great kit!
