Two related families on different continents during WWII. This is their story. Well written and interesting.

I would like to know if this is a true story. It has that ring about it with details of family and the complexity often only found in reality. It was not an easy read to the extent that I felt I was researching for a history essay but an interesting story.

Unfortunately I never found the time to read this book partly because of being diagnosed with end stage renal disease. I am so sorry.
