What a winning final segment in the Rebel Blue Ranch series! I hope Lyla Sage goes on to write more series (especially cowboys...) but I have a feeling this series will always have a special place in my heart.

Dusty has never stopped loving Camille: no matter the distance, time, or changes in both of their lives. Their love has been tattooed on him; both literally and figuratively. While I missed my Ryder boys the entire time and kicked my feet every time Wes was mentioned... Dusty got a hold on me. The "y" in Dusty stands for yearning. Big "I wrote you 365 letters!" energy.

Camille has the haunting aura that you usually only see in eldest daughter. The overwhelming experience of being taken care of when your whole life your independence was the only way you were worthy of existence? Inner child healing. Wondering if you've ever made any decisions for yourself or if you've only ever lived for the approval of your family? Understood in HD quality! Watching a woman with similar strangling fears be accepted, adored, and taken care of? Priceless.

The epilogue of this book literally had me sobbing the entire time. Was it partially the fact that I read 3 cowboy romance books in 7 days because I physically couldn't stop reading them? Potentially. Did playing "Wide Open Spaces" by the Chicks encourage this emotional response? Maybe... But it also truly spoke to the overwhelming affection and devotion I had to these characters and their stories. Mere lines in the epilogue broke me into full body wracking sobs of tenderness.

I have no skills to speak of Lyla but... can I come live on Rebel Blue? (•⩊•)

**4 out of 5 stars**
I loved reading this book! I am not typically a cowboy romance fan but I’ve been a fan of Lyla Sage’s Rebel Blue Ranch series since her debut "Done and Dusted". Once again I fell in love with the setting, this time a cozy cottage instead of the sprawling ranch, but I still wanted to BE there. I want to hike where the characters hike, I want to ride in that old Bronco, I want to hang out in Aggie’s workshop and at Amos’s table. I will be honest and say the best part of this book was the bonus chapter after the acknowledgments. If you’re a fan of Rebel Blue, this book is worth reading just for that!
Now on to the plot, Cam got stood up on her wedding day and her old high school flame rescues her from the unwanted spotlight. He’s never gotten over her, however she wants to keep her distance. I loved the back and forth storytelling through time giving you two romance novels in one! High School Dusty and Cam were chef’s kiss perfection. Current Dusty is such a cinnamon roll, he deserves all the best things in life. Current Cam is damaged- mostly due to overbearing parents, but Dusty does not care! Lyla Sage is such a good storyteller that, even though these two weren’t my favorite of her characters, I was still fully vested in their journey back to each other. Cam’s daughter Riley does not play as big a part in this one as she did in "Lost and Lassoed", but seeing Dusty’s growing attachment and their sweet interactions was just lovely. The found family with Gus, Wes, Emmy, Teddy, Ada, Amos, etc. just warms my heart and makes me want to reread all her books!

This book is for you if you love a second chance romance, cinnamon roll mmc, found family, small town, cowboy romance, or if you’re like me and ready to devour anything Lyla Sage writes!

Thank you to Random House Publishing and NetGalley for providing an eARC of this book!

I had seen these books all over social media and heard the hype and now I understand why. How have I never picked up this series is beyond me. Holy moly that was amazing the slow burn had me sweating. I was team Dusty all the way by the way, and when you read it you’ll see what I mean. This book had all the elements of a great love story and more. I would love to see this on the screen. I will be reading the first three books, so what are you waiting for?? are you ready to loose yourself in The Rebel Blue Ranch like I did.

I want to thank @NetGalley and @ RandomHouse for allowing me to have this amazing ARC.

Wild and Wrangled offers up a second chance love story where neither distance or time can permanently fracture a connection of souls meant to be.

Cam begins this tale as a jilted bride, but her heart isn't much wounded, rather it's tired for constantly trying to uphold the expectant future drilled into her head by her parents. Needing to breathe away from the judgement of others she finds herself face to face with her old but never forgotten love, Dusty, who gives her a day of escape before things go back to normal. And their normal is staying a respectable distance from one another. This will prove hard when Cam and her daughter move into their new home, and find out who their neighbor is...

The narrative makes no mystery that leads Cam and Dusty are meant to be together. Their history is one filled with love, and while hurt may have come along the way, it never diminished their connection. Even when distance and time parted them. Their only hurdles are themselves. It takes finding the courage to try, try again. And you will absolutely root for them to do just that. To give themselves the chance for that second chance. It's a beautiful evolution to witness. I found joy in watching their romance go from tentative flutters to soaring flight. I found joy in watching Cam let go of expectations and put her own desires first. I found joy in watching Dusty fight for the home he's long looked for-- and how that home is not a place, but a person. It's always gratifying watching a meant-to-be love story triumph.

That said, I didn't connect to the narrative in the way I hoped. I never found a good footing with its pacing, particularly in a third act that felt rushed.

Nevertheless, Lyla Sage's writing is one I'm eager to follow. To pick up past works and get ready for the new ones. I believe this is a journey that will satisfy fans of the series.

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House, and Dial Press for this advanced complimentary copy, I leave this honest review voluntarily.

The story we've all been waiting for! "Wild and Wrangled" by Lyla Sage follows Dusty and Cam as they have a second chance at love after she is left at the alter by the man her parents picked out for her. Lucky for her a hot nose ring attached to the man that used to know her better then anyone is there to help her through it. Together they will rebuild what they used to have, but it won't be easy...

A beautiful, cozy conclusion to the Rebel Blue Ranch series that revisits the relationships we love while giving insight to characters we have been desperate to know. Cam is strong and independent and Dusty doesn't save or fix her, he supports her while she fixes herself. I really loved the flashbacks of who they used to be and how it reflected who they are now. A very satisfying goodbye to the Ranch and characters we all love.

She’s the one that got away. He’s the one that never let her go.

Lyla Sage I don’t know what you put into these books, but I am absolutely addicted to the Rebel Blue Ranch and every single character.

Dusty and Cam were second chance romance perfection! Their story was sweet, soft, spicy, and had me feeling ALL the feels. Gah I just loved seeing these two high school sweethearts reconnect again. Though I never wanted this series to end, Lyla gave us the perfect conclusion in this love letter to Rebel Blue Ranch. And her her words “Nothing lasts forever. Not even goodbyes. 😉 I finished and instantly wanted to dive back in from the beginning.

What I loved:
🤠 Second Chance
🤠 Small town
🤠 Cowboy Romance
🤠 Found Family
🤠 Riley

A HUGE thank you to Dial Press and Netgalley for the advanced copy! I cannot wait to add a finished copy to my Rebel Blue Ranch collection.

This final installment from the Rebel Blue Ranch series was probably my favorite of the series. I loved how Cam and Dusty, while being apart from each other for 15 years, never truly stopped loving each other. Both characters had some growing up to do and the time apart made their relationship stronger and therefore could become “permanent” like Cam and Dusty said about themselves. Reading this makes me want to re-read the previous books, like visiting an old friend.

I loved the first three books in this series, but this one was such a disappointment. Cam is the most boring character. The only time she shows any sort of personality is when she's being immature and unreasonable. As an adult, Cam didn't act or speak any differently than she did as a 17-year-old. We're expected to believe she's a 30-something lawyer and mother? Her sounding like a child half the time made the spicy scenes especially icky. Dusty at least read like he had become an adult, but still was insanely bland. The two of them had zero chemistry whatsoever. The flashbacks to when they were teenagers should have given context, but instead were just cringy.

Also, the cute little world and fun characters that she had created in the rest of the series were practically non-existent in this one. We get a few scenes here and there with the other characters where they also show no personality. The town and ranch barely feature. I truly don't understand why this book was even added to this series.

This series continues to be a light as cotton candy fluffy delight. This time, we have Cam and Dusty's story. High school sweethearts whose romance was sidetracked by her overbearing parents and his wunderlust, they're both back in Meadowlark and ready to revive their friendship. But is there more to their story? Is a happy ending in the works? I bet fans of the series know the answer to that question. A very satisfying conclusion to the series.

What a perfect second chance romance !!! Can't stop thinking about these characters -- plus the cover is just stunning!

I absolutely adored Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage! She completely turned my view around on both second chance and friends-to-lovers tropes, which are typically not my favorites, but Sage made me fall head over heels for this book. The chemistry between Camille and Dusty is undeniable, and their journey from estranged to something more felt incredibly authentic and moving.

The glimpses into their first meeting were such a beautiful touch, and I loved the notes they exchanged. It really gave us a sense of the deep connection they once had and how much they had both changed and stayed the same over the years. These small moments were so touching and added a lot of heart to the story.

However, there was one thing I felt was missing. The reason they initially broke up wasn’t explored enough between the characters, and I found myself wanting more discussion on that front. It was a pivotal moment in their past, and I think a little more closure or insight into how they both felt about it would have deepened the emotional impact of their reunion.

That being said, Lyla Sage’s writing is just chef’s kiss. The tension, the romance, the growth of the characters—it was all so well-done. If you’re a fan of second chances and small-town romance, I highly recommend Wild and Wrangled. It’s a heartwarming, emotional ride that will make you believe in love, no matter how much time has passed.

Cam tries so hard to do what she thinks is best for her daughter, toeing the line her parents drew. But Dusty has never stopped loving her and doesn’t want to lose her a second time. The longing! The flashbacks to high school! The dancing around each other while trying to just be friends! What a great ending to this series! Loved it!

To start, thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for giving me this advance copy!

I really hoped that this book would be better than the others. I truly tried to give this book a shot but I think I just don’t care for this author's writing. For me, I was very bored and was not entertained by this book at all. I didn’t care or like anything about the book. I thought it started off interesting at first but it lost its appeal rather quickly. It all just felt bland and I didn’t care for the characters in the slightest. I really wanted to enjoy this series and this book especially but it unfortunately didn’t happen.

Wild and Wrangled is a second chance, touching, emotional romance. A beautiful end to a really fun series.

A fitting end for an amazing series. This is 2nd chance done right. Dusty is hands down the best MMC in this series in my opinion and his relationship with the little one is adorable. This was so good!

I loved this! So much fun, so enjoyable - I want more of this world and hope that Lyla Sage continues to write more romances. Her characters are unique, well developed and relatable. This is in the same style as Elsie Silver, but honestly I will likely revisit these more often!

I enjoyed this a bit more than the other ones I’ve read by this author- and I can recommend if you want something light and with cowboys

3.5 rounded down, it was a great and sweet ending to the rebel blue series but i just don’t think second chance romances are for me. also the third act fight was unrealistic and just frustrated me.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a feee eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I have loved the Rebel Blue Ranch series so much, and Dusty and Cam’s story was such a sweet ending. I love a second chance romance, getting those flashbacks are one of my favorite things! Single parent is a favorite trope, and then we have a beautiful and sensitive man?? Love.

Anyone triggered by emotionally abusive and controlling parents should go into this with great care, it should be said that it was handled nicely but was still tough to witness.
