I didn’t know I liked cowboy romance novels until Lyla Sages Rebel Blue Ranch series! Wild and Wrangled is a sweet and spicy conclusion to this series! This is good news for romance readers who prefer not to start reading a series until it is complete.

I was so excited to get Dusty and Cam's story!!! They were two people so in love as teenagers who just couldn't make things mesh with their respective dreams once they became young adults. Seeing them come back together and working through the things that stood in their way was lovely. I'm sad for these books to end!!!

I would like to formally apologize to Lyla Sage. I didn't think this story was needed and I was oh so wrong. Cam and Dusty were an absolute DREAM and a fantastic addition to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. I don't think I will ever tire reading about these characters and this small town. They are so loveable and swoon worthy. When it comes to western romance, Lyla Sage absolutely knows what she's doing.

This is the last book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series and it was such a sweet ending to the series.

This is Cam and Dusty's book, and in it you get flashbacks to how their relationship began and how it got to where it is today. You can see how much they've grown and changed from that time and how they find their way back to each other.

This has to be one of my favorite contemporary romance series. I can't wait to see what Lyla Sage writes next!

Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

**Book Review: A Heartfelt and Unforgettable Journey**

Lyla Sage has crafted a profoundly moving and emotionally resonant story that will stay with me for a long time. The final chapters were nothing short of breathtaking—I found myself completely overwhelmed with emotion, brought to tears by the depth and beauty of this narrative. The conclusion was poignant and deeply satisfying, delivering the kind of impact that lingers long after the last page.

The seamless weaving of past and present, particularly in the second-chance romance between Dusty and Cam, felt authentic and well-earned. Their journey was captivating, filled with heartfelt moments that made it impossible not to root for them. Dusty, in particular, stands out—his character embodies strength, kindness, and devotion, making him truly unforgettable.

This book is a stunning portrayal of love, loss, and redemption, serving as a fitting and emotional conclusion to the world Lyla Sage has so beautifully built. Saying goodbye to these characters is bittersweet, but the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. For fans of deeply emotional, character-driven romances, this is an absolute must-read.

I was surprised just how much I loved this!!!

I usually adored anything Lyla Sage writes, but this one was just next level! I was obsessed with both characters from the very beginning, and I never felt the want to rush their story and get them together any faster.

Their relationship, both old and new, was so so special, and was such a great representation of the characters as individuals and as a couple.

Seeing Riley from another side of the family was so sweet as well. And there was a great balance of the familiar characters, without having them take over the story.

I loved seeing Cam and Dusty's story, and I will happily read anything and everything Lysla Sage puts out!

Lyla Sage kicks ass! This was a lovely end to a great series from an amazing up and coming author. Lyla’s characters always feel so authentic - Cam and Dusty were no exception!
I would have loved to see what Cam’s relationship with her parent evolves into a little bit more at the end of the book. And did I miss where the nickname ‘Dusty’ came from?
10/10 would recommend and I can’t wait to see what’s next from Lyla! :)

I really enjoyed Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage. I will be sad to see this series come to a close. This was a great finale to the Rebel Blue Ranch series and would recommend to all who love these books!

When Cam gets left at the alter on her wedding day, she is pulled out of her self-imposed isolation by the least likely person in Wyoming: her ex, Dusty. The past is usually too painful for these two to revisit, but when Dusty reaches out his hand to help Cam deal with her failed wedding, she decides that spending one day with him couldn't hurt.
The problem is that once they spend time together and realize that their connection isn't completely broken, it is hard to put all of the old feelings back in the box and pretend that they are no more than casual acquaintances. Dusty has always been "more" to Cam, and he feels the same way, so the two now have to decide if they can forgive past hurts and trust that a future together could be possible.
With this book, Sage completes her Rebel Blue Ranch series, and it was a delight from book 1 through book 4. I'm a high school librarian, so I can't have these adult titles in my library at school, but I have all 4 in my personal library and will be lending them to friends and re-visiting the ranch again for myself in the future!

Omg, this book was everything I hoped it would be!! I’m so sad that this series has come to an end, but this book was the cherry on top of the whole series.

Cam and Dusty were just perfect together. The flashbacks and the notes—god, the notes—chef’s kiss.

We see their relationship as high school sweethearts madly in love, with Cam having to leave to find her own way and the years of pining Dusty did. Cam, under the thumb of her rich parents who didn’t care for her but controlled most aspects of her life, felt unloved and unworthy. She had to discover who she was, but it took her a long time to realize how strong she truly was. Dusty spent their time apart traveling the world and working odd jobs, but he never stopped wanting or loving Cam. He eventually realized the emptiness he was trying to fill wouldn’t go away until he put down roots at Blue Rebel and got closer to her again. There was a push and pull between them for most of the book, mainly from Cam. But Dusty always showed up for her, and his love never wavered. His relationship with Riley, and the instant connection Riley felt toward Dusty, was really sweet.

I did feel like there was one little thing missing from the story, and it was closure between Cam and her parents. I was expecting some kind of confrontation or resolution. It was a big part of the book, but nothing got tied up.

Can’t wait for Lyla’s next book.

Pros: Rebel Blue Ranch, how I love you. I have been impatiently waiting for this release since I finished Lost & Lassoed (my favorite)! This town Lyla created feels so much like home. Every time I crack open one of this books it feels like a warm hug. There is something so special about these characters and their love for one another. This is one of the very few romance books I actually wish was longer so we could spend more time which each character! Dusty's love for Cam is so deeply profound and I love the introduction of Anne. The high school flashbacks were so sweet (THE NOTES!!) I loved how outgoing Dusty was, I wish we could've seen more of his little interactions like with the gas station owner at the beginning. I need a Heartland style tv show of this series asap! I'm not ready to say goodbye yet.

Cons: I love Lyla and hope she doesn't read this, but the plot structure of this book is incomplete. Cam is, frankly, dislikable and immature. Dusty is a saint (seriously, I think he is my favorite MMC in the Rebel Blue series), but everyone keeps looking at him like he is going to leave her when he has been there for her his whole life even if he was physically traveling. He isn't responsible for her feelings. Readers got no real resolution with her parents and Anne's character felt like a plot device. I wish we got to see more of her like Teddy's dad in Lost & Lassoed, The third act conflict was random and completely blown out of portion. I expected the third act conflict to be an email or a phone call from that company in Alaska that Greer suggested. They would offer him a job and Cam would freak out that he is leaving because of her fear of abandonment. Also, Cam calling him out for lying by omission when she literally faked a relationship and engagement was wild. I wish we could've seen Cam stand up to her parent, like really stand up to them on her own. I'm glad that Dusty makes her feel brave, but I wish she could've been the one to call them out and stand up for her daughter and herself. Overall, this book needed to cook for longer. Six months turnaround time was too short and it shows. The bones of this story are beautiful, but it doesn't pack the same punch as others in this series. There weren't any real outside factors that challenged the couple, only Cam's internal challenges. The premise here is a heartfelt one, it just fell a bit short for me.

When Ada said “you don’t have a neck tattoo and a nose piercing and not be good” she was so true.

Lyla Sage, my darling, my love, my cowboy romance introduction - you killed it with this one. I love a second chance romance, I love a man who has never fallen out of love, I love it all. Second favorite in the series after Teddy and Gus.

I have a few ~tiny~ complaints. The largest being why did you make me wait until I was 60% into the book before giving me a spicy scene. Also I was going to have a big complaint about the third act breakup bc honestly that was dumb, but you cleared it up quick and easy and gave Dusty a good grand gesture moment that I’m more okay with it. I still think Cam was dumb for being mad, but glad Wes was there to calm her down.

All in all, love love loveeeeeed it

First of all this cover is gorgeous as usual!
& I loved this!

From devouring done & dusted in one sitting back at the beginning of February 2024 to finishing this series a year later
I have enjoyed every single minute, letter and word.

The ending of Lost & Lassoed set this up perfectly.
Dusty & Cam exceeded expectations, I love them.
So much emotion, second chance romance from school sweethearts was exactly how it needed to be.
Perfect timing, full circle moments and a beautiful farewell to Rebel Blue Ranch

Lyla sage is an auto buy author since the very start I’m looking forward to whatever comes next!!
This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2025 and I’m so honoured to receive this arc. A massive thank you to netgallery!

Thank you NetGalley for giving me an advanced reader copy of this book!❤️
I feel so happy that I got approved for this book because I absolutely ADORE this series and world that Lyla Sage has created. It’s a bittersweet feeling for Wild and Wrangled to be the last book in this series. But let’s dive into my review:
Cam and Dusty was the most perfect second chance love story. It was so fun getting flashbacks from when they were little and reading all the letters Dusty sent Cam 😭🥹 It made their story that much better. I love Cam she’s such an independent boss woman. I admired her for completely changing her life and giving her and her daughter a better life. And Disty just fit into that so perfectly. I also enjoyed so much getting Riley snippets in here as well. She is the cutest little bean😭 Overall I do think it was a good end to the series. I wish we got more of all the other characters and family towards the end of the book like maybe one big last dinner or something? Then it really would have felt like the end but maybe Lyla has a novella coming or something!

I have loved this series and Cam and Dusty’s story was a satisfying conclusion! I love how the characters have depth and issues, but it’s still romantic.

As the final installment of the Rebel Blue Ranch series, this title puts a nice ribbon on the series while also stepping outside of the Ryder family a bit more.

Wild and Wrangled is a hopeful second-chance romance with characters to really get behind. Dusty, in particular is an extremely likable and romantic male hero. Similarly, Cam -whom readers of the series will be surprised to learn is not as put together as she has seemed in past books - grows in a way that is both touching and relatable.

Lovers of Romance, the Wild West, and those of us who’ve loved the Ryders and Rebel Blue from the beginning will find this final installment deeply satisfying.

I don't want to write this review because that means I've finished this series! I love this world that Lyla has created, and watching Cam and Dusty find their way back to each other is the perfect way to close out the Rebel Blue Ranch books. It's angsty, emotional, romantic, funny, dramatic and a warm hug. I loved seeing Cam and Dusty now and then and Lyla writes them in a way that you know it's forever. I also loved seeing Wes and Ada more (I love them so much) and it was interesting to read about characters who aren't Ryders by blood, but certainly are part of the family. I GASPED when I flipped past the acknowledgments and there was another chapter. A solid closer to a great series!

This was my second favorite of the series!! The connection between Dusty and Cam is unmatched! I am so sad to see this series come to an end! 5 Stars!

Wow, what a beautiful ending for the Rebel Blue Ranch series! I can’t believe it’s over, but Dusty and Adam were pure perfection and their story was so beautiful. The found family in this series is so heartwarming and I absolutely adore all the characters!

The messy, beautiful, raw moments Dusty and Cam had were so relatable. I understood both POVs, but hands down, Dusty is the most caring man!!!! Literally the sweetest and would give you the sun and moon if he could.

Thank you so much for the ARC! One of my favorite reads this year 🩷

**Review of *Wild and Wrangled*

The final installment of the Rebel Blue Ranch series, Wild and Wrangled, delivers everything fans have been waiting for: Dusty and Cam's long-anticipated love story. After three books of wondering what truly happened between them, this beautifully told story pieces together their past and present in a way that feels both satisfying and heartfelt.

The back-and-forth narrative, moving seamlessly between Dusty and Cam's heartfelt love notes and their present-day interactions, is an incredible vehicle for storytelling. It allows readers to not only unravel the mystery of what went right and what went wrong but also to feel the depth of their connection over time. This isn’t just a story about rekindled romance—it’s a touching tale of first love, heartbreak, and the journey back to each other.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Wild and Wrangled is revisiting the characters we’ve grown to love throughout the series. Seeing how the ranch has flourished with the love stories from the prior books gives a wonderful sense of closure and community. It’s like catching up with old friends while experiencing the emotional highs and lows of Dusty and Cam’s journey.

This is a story that shines with the authenticity of love: messy, imperfect, and full of second chances. The chemistry between Dusty and Cam is electric, their struggles relatable, and their resolution nothing short of heartwarming. If you’ve been following the Rebel Blue Ranch series, this final chapter is everything you hoped it would be—and more. And for newcomers, Dusty and Cam’s story will pull you in, make you laugh, and maybe even shed a tear.

A must-read for lovers of heartfelt romance and deeply satisfying endings.
