I love Rebel Blue Ranch, and I am so sad this is the final book in the series. Cam and Dusty's story was so good, and they will forever have my heart. I love second-chance romance stories, and this one definitely delivered. I loved Cam and Dusty's journey to love. The book switches between the past and present, showing how Cam and Dusty first fell in love and how life pulled them apart. Their story was beautiful, but also heartbreaking. Watching them find their way back to each other after everything they went through was so incredibly satisfying and heartwarming. Dusty never stopped loving Cam, even when she tried to push him away. Cam’s story really hit me in the feels. She felt trapped by her parents' expectations and was willing to give up her own happiness for her daughter. Cam and Dusty's slow-burn romance was full of tension and longing. I loved it when they finally gave in to their feelings for each other. This truly was the perfect ending. I adore the world Lyla Sage created, and this series will always hold a special place in my heart.

This series is great. It really has me thinking about the different kinds of "cowboys" and "cowgirls" and how they might be their own individuals instead of just wearing the same brands of boots and jeans and snap shirts I saw growing up. I’ve let this marinate, and I just can’t picture the croptop thing. Do edgy ranchers wear croptops? T-shirt types are a prominent focus of this series. What kind of T-shirt is my person, I wonder?

I love this series, and Wild and Wrangled is such a perfect, heartfelt sendoff for Rebel Blue Ranch. Lyla Sage knows exactly how to write small towns, first loves, and all the emotional tension that comes with unfinished business, and Cam and Dusty’s second-chance story hit so many of my favorite beats.

The perfect end to a perfect series about (found) family and love that finds you when you least expect it.

Well I don’t think I will be okay for a while knowing this is the end of the series. I absolutely adored this series so much i just loved every single book in this series in very different ways. I think just the whole family has a place in my heart. I hope theres a way to revisit the series even if its just a passing mention of how everyone is doing. I have said this before but letter writing is seriously such a big crutch for me like just crushes my heart. I just immediately start crying when books include that. It was no different with this book as soon as I read chapter one i was already bawling. Ive already known how much i would cry reading this book but still. Ive yet to meet Lyla sage since it keeps selling out when she is on tour but im determined to meet her and tell her how much i love this book series. Dusty seriously has the biggest heart this freaking beautiful man i love him so much. The way he just puts his heart into everything and everyone. The way he just kept staying by her and just was the only one who can get through to her. Also Riley interacting with him had me like a puddle of goo. Also the fact that Lyla Sage said btw i know that you have been emotional this whole book so heres one of the other characters wedding like whatt.

Not the strongest installment in the series, but the author's writing is improving with each novel. While the relationship was unique, they lacked the sizzling chemistry from previous couples.

Lyla Sage just keeps getting better and better. This is my starter pack when customers want to get into cowboy romances. I look forward to following her long career!

Lyla always has the best books. I love the way she writes. This series is the best by far I am sad to see it ending.

This was everything I could have hoped for as a series closer, I can’t wait to see what heartwarming stories Lyla gives us next!

A huge thank you to Net Galley and Random House Publishing for this ARC!
"I love you in ways that people don't believe in real life"
Rebel Blue will always have my heart. They were my introduction to cowboy romance, and I know they will always be some of my favourites. This book was no exception. The characters were so well written and very genuine. Ending on a love story that felt always meant to be was perfect.
Dusty and Cam, there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that these two were meant from each other, even from the glimpse of them in the first 3 books. I loved that we got to know all of there love story, from high school to forever. Their love felt raw and real, and dealt with real emotions.
I loved that Amos had played important parts in all 4 love stories. Also the details of the pickles being like the olive theory is every thing to me.
As an Alberta girlie I greatly appreciated the reference to Calgary!
Don't even get me started on that bonus chapter. I almost started bawling. There's nothing like ending where it all began
"Until we're dust" perfectly describes how I will always love these books and will forever recommend them.
This book was beautifully written, and perfect way to end out time at Rebel Blue

Second Chance Romance
Finally, we’re here! “Wild and Wrangled” by Lyla Sage will be on shelves and dropping into readers’ ereaders any second!
By now, I think all of Lyla Sage’s readers know that Cam and Dusty are end game. Sage has been edging us with teases and glimmers of their history since “Swift and Saddled”. Reading between the lines, I knew something serious had to have gone down between them. Cam’s walls were so high they could compete with the Great Wall of China. I love a strong, determined woman, no doubt about it, but I never forget that there must have been something to push her into being that way.
“Wild and Wrangled” is the fourth (and supposedly last, but I’ll never shut the gate on hopes for more from Rebel Blue) stand alone set in Meadowlark. It sure lives up to its name, too. Whale it builds on the series and we get cameos from our previous favorites, “Wild and Wrangled” doesn’t seem to follow the rules that the previous novels had.
For example, some of our other couples (Emmy & Brooks and Teddy & Gus) have some type of history. They knew each other. Meadowlark is a small town, if you couldn’t tell. However, it’s Cam & Dusty’s story that gets told in dual timelines, and dual POV.
Additionally, while all of the Rebel Blue love stories have an emotional component to them, I believe that Sage flexes her emotional intelligence muscles throughout this story. This is, by far, the deepest we’ve been in what can only be described as emotional wreckage. I’ll leave it there, because we don’t like spoilers, but I think you’ll see what I mean soon enough.
What Else Can You Expect
A slow, slow burn.
Emotional edging. Dirty talk. A satisfying climax… to the story.
“Don’t rush me” he said against my ear. “I want to spend all night worshipping your body — learning all of the things I don’t know about it and remembering all of the things that I do.”
Dusty, “Wild and Wrangled”
Final Thoughts
Thank goodness it’s almost pub day because I need a copy for my trophy shelf. There are so many beautiful quotes and passionate passages on these pages that I use an entire set of notating tabs. (Seriously, kindle tells me I highlighted 33 separate passages.)
“Wild and Wrangled” is the epitome of a successful second chance romance. Dusty Tucker is the quintessential man written by a woman. Camille is an excellent mom and a great role model for her daughter. These two found each other once, and then found each other again, and I think that’s beautiful. I don’t know if I believe in soul mates, but if there were any at all, it would be Dusty and Cam.

3/5
I liked the plot and trope. This book has been teased since the beginning of the series. We knew this story was coming. The frequent usage of flashbacks wasn't my cup of tea. I would have preferred getting to know the current couple a bit more. Sadly, (because this is a good series) this is a one-time read book for me. I could reread the second book but not the rest.

So cute. Gives you the warm and fuzzies, loved both characters.
Glad it alternates between perspectives as it left little room for anything dull. Had really good progression and character development.

It was such a bittersweet moment picking this book up because while I was excited to get into the backstory of Cam and Dusty, I didn’t want to acknowledge that this was the last installment of the Rebel Blue Ranch series!
This was a runaway bride trope, which I honestly had read much of but really enjoyed! It follows ex high school sweethearts Cam and Dusty after they’ve spent year apart.
Cam and Dusty had popped up here and there in the other three books which led to a really great build up of their characters and really made me excited to see what their deal was. Cam was always interesting to me because I wanted to know more about her having Riley with Gus so the fact that this book was full of flashbacks made learning about her really fun! I wish we got to see more of her and Gus’ background because I wanted to learn how she found her way into the Ryder family.
I I LOVEEEEEE a yearning pathetic man! And that is Dusty!! Him and his crop tops and desperate need to show Cam how much he still loves her without being overly aggressive about it was fantastic.
I wish that Cam had more of a personal growth in this book and I wish Cam treated him a bit better. It seemed like she didn’t really fight against her parents or really fight for Dusty the way he always fought for her. I think I just wanted a LITTTTLE bit more from
the finale of the series, but it was so amazing to see how it all came together and to get a glimpse at all the couples coming back together. I will miss this series and couples so much as it’s what made me fall in love with cowboy romances!

I miss this series and world already. Lyla Sage gives me the perfect tropes for these characters every time.

4 1/2 stars!!! Loveddd these characters!! (Might be my favorite in the whole series!!) The atmosphere, the chemistry, and the character building were amazing!!

Summary: Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage is the fourth and final Rebel Blue Ranch series book. It follows Camille Ashwood, a single mom trying to rebuild her life after her fiancé leaves her at the altar. She moves next door to Dusty Tucker—her high school sweetheart and the one that got away. With old feelings and small-town gossip swirling, Cam and Dusty must navigate their messy history, unresolved feelings, and the new version of their relationship... if they can get out of their own way long enough to give love another shot.
I love Lyla Sage's writing style and enjoyed this book. Second Chance typically isn't a trope that I gravitate towards but this was an enjoyable read.

I'm a little sad to see this series come to an end, because it just keeps getting better and there is so much to love, from the retro-style cover to the warm characters. Jilted at the altar, Camille Ashwood is saved by one Dusty Tucker, the high school best friend and first lover that became the one that got away. Now that she's back in town, she's determined to keep him at arm's length, but their paths keep crossing; it turns out he's the caretaker of her dream house she's just arranged to rent. The narrative is a blend of flashbacks and present to show Dusty and Cam's connection, history, and yearning--a LOT of pining, hesitating, and finally moving past the fear to see what can blossom.
The writing is strong, but it's the characterizations that shine. Sage's characters are incredibly developed, real, and compelling. The rancher life, the details of Dusty's mother's woodworking projects, the atmospheric setting, and the familial connections create a story with heart.
While it's not necessary to have read all the books in the series to enjoy this one, readers who have been following along will appreciate the consistency of the characters, the familiar names and places, the model of co-parenting and exes turned friends, and the ranch setting. This is a satisfying conclusion to the series as a whole.

This book was so romantic, it was unreal. I adored both Cam and Dusty. The second chance trope is my favorite and it did not disappoint. The yearning between the two of them, and the slow burn!! I had an excellent time reading this conclusion to the series and I loved how all the characters fit together. Regarding the third act breakup, I didn't really like the reason but I felt that the way that it was written by Lyla Sage was done well. The impatience from the other characters reflected my own. I really liked that there was no conclusion to Cam's problems with her family; it felt realistic!

This was perfection, no notes. It's the story we've been waiting for and it did not disappoint, the perfect way to send this series.
