The buildup to Dusty and Cam’s book has been coming since Swift and Saddled and finally getting their origin story was awesome! I truly love Dusty so much as a main character and he’s just a truly nice guy. Cam was a character that grew up feel unloved and always reaching for her parents attention. Because of that, she is always over analyzing and second guessing if they people around her, truly love her. I think they were a good balance. I did love the flashbacks we got on how they met back in High School and the notes included were so cute! My only complaint is I wish we got a little more closure on her parents. It kinda was forgotten about at the end. But overall, this was a good conclusion to the Rebel Blue Ranch series and I hope one day we can come back to it!

Gosh, I love the Rebel Blue Ranch series, and I'm sad to see it end, but I'm glad I got to read Wild and Wrangled. SPOILERS TO FOLLOW. At times, it felt a little rushed, and I would've liked more closure on the runaway groom situation. I also would've liked more info on how Cam & Gus got together. I mean, there is a scene that explains it, but I can't remember from the previous books if it was only the one night or if they'd had a bit of a fling. It's not super crucial but I think it could've been clearer. Anyway, this book is different stylistically from the others, and I liked seeing Cam & Dusty's history play out the way it did. I love Dusty's tattoos, and he seemed really charming, a great flirt. I loved learning the ways Cam & Dusty kept each other's memory going in the small things. Definitely recommend this book and look forward to the next series.

such a perfect way to end this series! loved this couple so much <3 made me want to restart the whole series from the beginning

One of my favorites (maybe even my favorite!) of the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Dusty was the most romantic of the leads and I loved the second chance romance trope. This one has all the feels.

I truly hoped to love this, as I've really enjoyed the rest of the series, but this fell flat - the construction was obvious and trope-y, the banter seemed revisionist of the past few books and changed characters, and the charm was gone. It felt like foregone conclusions and waiting for inevitable resolutions without enough buildup or explanation. The flashbacks were juvenile, and weren't dramatic - they didn't add anything to the narrative.

I never wanted the Rebel Blue Ranch series to end! Wild and Wrangled wrapped things up in such a satisfying way. After getting to know Dusty and Cam as secondary characters in everyone else's stories, it was so nice to finally hear their background and follow along with their love story. And to keep things spoiler-free, let me just say that I LOVED the final piece at the end of the story. So many happy tears. I'm a Lyla Sage fan for life and can't wait to see what she comes up with next! Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!

I’ve been obsessed with Dusty and Cam since book three and did this ever deliver! I loved the back and forth from their highschool days to now, and I absolutely adore their happily ever after.

Cam isn't my favorite character. She's cold and calculating. Sage's attempt at a third-act breakup was pretty lame--as all third-act breakups are--and it was a major irritation. The rest of the Ryder family kept this a descent read for me, especially the very end when Emmy and Luke get married. It was a great ending to the series. Dusty was pretty great but I just can't get excited about a cowboy with a nose ring. Cam was so reluctant to be with Dusty and seemed to push him away when the only people she should be fighting were her parents, but she's too cowardly to do that. I did like all the cussing and tattoos and the friendly interference. Overall, this was disappointing. Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC.

Loved that we got the chance to read Cam and Dusty’s story. After all we’ve been through with them, they felt like old friends by the time we got to there book. I was INVESTED. They had great chemistry and tension and while the flashbacks sometimes were a little jarring pacing wise, and idk any teenage boy that acts that sweet, i ate this romance up!

Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage didn’t really do much for me. The story felt like it was trying to be a fun, chaotic ride, but it ended up feeling scattered and shallow.
The characters were fine, but I didn’t find myself caring much about what happened to them. The romance lacked spark, and the plot, while entertaining in parts, never fully pulled me in. It had potential—there were moments where the humor and energy shone through—but overall, it just didn’t leave a lasting impression.
If you’re looking for something light and don’t mind a story that doesn’t dig too deep, this might work for you. Otherwise, it’s probably one you can skip.

3.75 stars rounded up to 4. I really enjoyed this book, but I felt like it was to follow up Gus and Teddy. Especially when it has similar elements of entering an already established family unit. I think the romance towards the end could have been fleshed out a bit more, it seemed a bit rushed once they finally gave in to the temptation of each other. Overall, this book was pretty short. Usually, I think that there isn’t enough editing done on contemporary romance novels, but when it comes to second chance I always think it’s best to delve in deep with the characters, and I think there was the time and place to flesh out their arc a bit more. All this being said, I don’t want to wish for things that the author clearly did for a reason, like “they were always permanent”, so my critiques are mostly for my own preferences in romance novels. I still loved these two together. Ada and Cams friendship feels very meaningful, especially as someone who’s been labeled as “skiddish”. She was the best friend cam could have had to listen and empathize with! I also loved Dusty (and his mom).

I didnt think this series would get better but wow! The character development in this one is amazing. So spicy too!!

My favourite book in the rebel blue series! I loved Dusty and Cam’s story, a great second chance romance with very well written characters. It was so fun to learn more about their history.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
This was such a satisfying ending to this series. Lyla’s writing is fantastic and the way she crafts these stories is amazing.
Cam and Dusty were absolutely everything, their chemistry, their history, everything just felt right. The way this book was written and we got to see the story unfold was perfection.
The way their relationship unfolded was so cute, and the family dynamics that popped up where adorable. This whole series was so good and Wild and Wrangled is the perfect cherry on top!

Oh how sad I am that I’ve completed the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Lyla Sage does a wonderful job creating a cast of characters and a setting so vibrant readers have no choice but to fall head over heels in love. The only frustrating part about this book was the lead character Cam’s ability to stand in her own way, which I suppose only makes her more realistic. 4 stars.

Wow! Cam and Dusty's second chance story is such a satisfying conclusion to a really fantastic series! I want to go back and re-read them all now that I know how all the threads connect.

Fantastic ending to the Rebel Blue series. I loved Dusty and Cams story and will miss the Ryder family antics. Looking forwards to what Lyla Sage does next!

Finishing this book was totally bittersweet! Lyla has created such a beautiful world and I have had the best time reading every single story in it. And I absolutely loved this final book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Cam and Dusty had a wonderful story and I am so happy that I got to read it. This was a second chance and friends to lovers romance and I was all over it. It does not disappoint. And I will happily continue to read anything Lyla writes in the future.

Thank you to Penguin Random House and Dial Press for the ARC. I knew I had to save this book as the first one I read in 2025. While I’m sad to say goodbye to Rebel Blue Ranch, I’ve loved all the time I’ve spent there.
This second-chance, friends-to-lovers story made my heart melt. After all the little crumbs earlier in the series, I was excited to learn more about Cam and Dusty in W&W. I liked getting to see the “then” and “now,” how their teenage love started and grew, and how it turned into the slow burn of them eventually navigating their way back to each other. I especially loved how steadfast and open Dusty was of his feelings for Cam and the quiet love he showed her.

Lyla sage has done it again ! I have been so excited for dusty and cams story and it did not disappoint. Dusty was so sweet and is down bad for our girl cam. This is everything I hoped it would be and more! I want to be apart of the rebel blue family so bad.
