Cam isn't my favorite character. She's cold and calculating. Sage's attempt at a third-act breakup was pretty lame--as all third-act breakups are--and it was a major irritation. The rest of the Ryder family kept this a descent read for me, especially the very end when Emmy and Luke get married. It was a great ending to the series. Dusty was pretty great but I just can't get excited about a cowboy with a nose ring. Cam was so reluctant to be with Dusty and seemed to push him away when the only people she should be fighting were her parents, but she's too cowardly to do that. I did like all the cussing and tattoos and the friendly interference. Overall, this was disappointing. Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC.

Loved that we got the chance to read Cam and Dusty’s story. After all we’ve been through with them, they felt like old friends by the time we got to there book. I was INVESTED. They had great chemistry and tension and while the flashbacks sometimes were a little jarring pacing wise, and idk any teenage boy that acts that sweet, i ate this romance up!

Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage didn’t really do much for me. The story felt like it was trying to be a fun, chaotic ride, but it ended up feeling scattered and shallow.
The characters were fine, but I didn’t find myself caring much about what happened to them. The romance lacked spark, and the plot, while entertaining in parts, never fully pulled me in. It had potential—there were moments where the humor and energy shone through—but overall, it just didn’t leave a lasting impression.
If you’re looking for something light and don’t mind a story that doesn’t dig too deep, this might work for you. Otherwise, it’s probably one you can skip.

3.75 stars rounded up to 4. I really enjoyed this book, but I felt like it was to follow up Gus and Teddy. Especially when it has similar elements of entering an already established family unit. I think the romance towards the end could have been fleshed out a bit more, it seemed a bit rushed once they finally gave in to the temptation of each other. Overall, this book was pretty short. Usually, I think that there isn’t enough editing done on contemporary romance novels, but when it comes to second chance I always think it’s best to delve in deep with the characters, and I think there was the time and place to flesh out their arc a bit more. All this being said, I don’t want to wish for things that the author clearly did for a reason, like “they were always permanent”, so my critiques are mostly for my own preferences in romance novels. I still loved these two together. Ada and Cams friendship feels very meaningful, especially as someone who’s been labeled as “skiddish”. She was the best friend cam could have had to listen and empathize with! I also loved Dusty (and his mom).

I didnt think this series would get better but wow! The character development in this one is amazing. So spicy too!!

My favourite book in the rebel blue series! I loved Dusty and Cam’s story, a great second chance romance with very well written characters. It was so fun to learn more about their history.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
This was such a satisfying ending to this series. Lyla’s writing is fantastic and the way she crafts these stories is amazing.
Cam and Dusty were absolutely everything, their chemistry, their history, everything just felt right. The way this book was written and we got to see the story unfold was perfection.
The way their relationship unfolded was so cute, and the family dynamics that popped up where adorable. This whole series was so good and Wild and Wrangled is the perfect cherry on top!

Oh how sad I am that I’ve completed the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Lyla Sage does a wonderful job creating a cast of characters and a setting so vibrant readers have no choice but to fall head over heels in love. The only frustrating part about this book was the lead character Cam’s ability to stand in her own way, which I suppose only makes her more realistic. 4 stars.

Wow! Cam and Dusty's second chance story is such a satisfying conclusion to a really fantastic series! I want to go back and re-read them all now that I know how all the threads connect.

Fantastic ending to the Rebel Blue series. I loved Dusty and Cams story and will miss the Ryder family antics. Looking forwards to what Lyla Sage does next!

Finishing this book was totally bittersweet! Lyla has created such a beautiful world and I have had the best time reading every single story in it. And I absolutely loved this final book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Cam and Dusty had a wonderful story and I am so happy that I got to read it. This was a second chance and friends to lovers romance and I was all over it. It does not disappoint. And I will happily continue to read anything Lyla writes in the future.

Thank you to Penguin Random House and Dial Press for the ARC. I knew I had to save this book as the first one I read in 2025. While I’m sad to say goodbye to Rebel Blue Ranch, I’ve loved all the time I’ve spent there.
This second-chance, friends-to-lovers story made my heart melt. After all the little crumbs earlier in the series, I was excited to learn more about Cam and Dusty in W&W. I liked getting to see the “then” and “now,” how their teenage love started and grew, and how it turned into the slow burn of them eventually navigating their way back to each other. I especially loved how steadfast and open Dusty was of his feelings for Cam and the quiet love he showed her.

Lyla sage has done it again ! I have been so excited for dusty and cams story and it did not disappoint. Dusty was so sweet and is down bad for our girl cam. This is everything I hoped it would be and more! I want to be apart of the rebel blue family so bad.

I’m still in denial that the Rebel Blue Ranch series is over, and Wild and Wrangled is the perfect conclusion to one of my all-time favorite contemporary romance series! If you haven’t picked up any of the books yet, you’re seriously missing out! Don't worry, I will continue to push it on you over and over again until you do! This is the series for anyone who loves cowboy/western vibes mixed with heartfelt small-town romance, and Wild and Wrangled is hands down one of the best example of a second-chance teenage friends-to-lovers love story ever read!
Lyla Sage has a way of weaving emotions into her stories like no one else. This book had me hooked from the start and, trust me, I couldn’t put it down. The dual POV between Dusty and Camille made it feel like we were right there with them as they navigated the complexities of rekindling a long-lost love. The “then” and “now” moments throughout the book beautifully capture the entire arc of their relationship—from their teenage years, to their heartbreaking separation, and to the unexpected second chance when Cam suddenly finds herself living next door to Dusty.
If you love a romance with layers, this book has it all. There’s the sweet tension of forced proximity, a man who’s been in love with the same woman since they were teens, and a strong heroine who’s learned to be independent but is still learning to let herself lean on others. And did I mention the notes? There’s something so tender and nostalgic about the little gestures that let these two communicate their feelings when words just aren’t enough!!
The small-town setting of Meadowlark, Wyoming, will feel like home to anyone who’s ever needed a place to heal and be themselves. It’s infused with love, safety, and a sense of belonging that makes every return to this world feel like a warm hug. Camille and Dusty’s journey will tug at your heartstrings, and you’ll find yourself rooting for their happily ever after from page one.
The ending is everything you could hope for in a series finale. It wraps up not only Dusty and Cam’s story but also gives us a glimpse into the future of all the characters we’ve grown to love throughout the series. Wild and Wrangled is a powerful reminder that sometimes, love isn’t just about finding your way back to someone—it’s about finding your way back to yourself, too.
If you’re a fan of second chances, emotional rollercoasters, tough women, sweet boys in crop tops, and stories that leave you feeling full of hope, this book (and the whole Rebel Blue Ranch series) is a must-read. I can't recommend it enough!

First off, the cover is absolutely amazing. I love Cam & Dusty and second chance romances. This was a great way to end the series. One of my favorite!

Really enjoyed this book. I love the wedding chapter at the end. It concluded the series beautifully by going back to the characters in the first novel.

Minor spoilers in this review.
How I read it: ebook (on a Kindle)
Themes: first love, toxic parents, 2nd chance romance, found family, co-parenting
Spice: There are explicit sex scenes, well paced, and enjoyable

I really enjoyed reading this book! I am a big fan of the series and was very excited to finally read about Cam and Dusty (something that has been hinted at since Book 1!). This was a great end to the 4 book series but I am sad that it was a closing on all the characters I have grown to adore. **Spoiler** The only thing I would have loved was a clear ending on Cams relationship with her parents…but then again in real life we don’t always get a clear ending on relationships so I understand the choice to just leave it alone after the gala.
I would recommend this book. I gave 5 stars because I like it a lot, and would re-read it and/or buy it!

Not for me! This was my first taste of a western, and I think it missed for two reasons. First, I didn't read the other books in the series, and it felt like walking into a room with a bunch of strangers without anybody to make proper introductions. The second is that I think westerns are just not my taste. It was great to try, but I just couldn't get into it. Not the book's fault- I'm just not the right reader for it!

I feel so fortunate to have gotten an early look at this series, and I’m sad to see it come to an end.
This book tugged at my heartstrings from start to finish. It’s my favorite second-chance romance to date.
Okay, let’s talk about Dusty Tucker.
Ever since Lyla Sage teased this in her stories back in April 2024, “Well, my favorite thing about Dusty is that he is intentionally slutty !!! With his cropped shirts and his long hair and his tattoos. HE KNOWS WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE AND HE KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING OK”—I’ve been counting down the days. And she delivered. Dusty is hands down my most favorite flirtatious fictional ranch hand I’ve ever met. 🔥
Overall, this was a heartwarming, swoon-worthy read with a lovable cast. Lyla Sage knows how to deliver on emotional depth and chemistry. Ash and Dusty are proof of that.
It was a bittersweet farewell to Rebel Blue. And yes, I definitely cried at the epilogue.
Now, for a few spoiler-y critiques:
The parents subplot. Overbearing, controlling parents who don’t love you but love to control you? Not my favorite trope, but I understand its role in the story. That said, I needed a bit more resolution with Cam and her parents. Whether it was her telling them to stay out of her life for good or processing it with someone else, it felt too implied and not fully wrapped up.
Cam’s third-act anger toward Dusty. Cam’s reaction was on brand with her character’s history, but it felt like an overreaction. And then when Dusty apologized and made a grand gesture, her initial reaction—“What the hell is wrong with you? You think you can just give me a house and tell me you love me and all is forgiven?”—was biting, to say the least. Sure, Dusty should’ve told her about the house sooner, but considering how standoffish she’d been, can you blame him? He didn’t want to scare off the woman who shattered his heart 15 years ago, the woman he never stopped loving. Cam owed Dusty a better apology for how she reacted, or at least she needed to acknowledge that cutting comments and running away can’t be her go-to anymore. Her behavior at the end was off-putting to me, and it wouldn’t have bothered me so much if she’d been more humble afterward. It was my main qualm in an otherwise wonderful book.

Sad to see the series end but so glad I got to be along for the ride!! Cam and Dusty were a super fun couple to get to know. This book is a little more "serious" than the others in the series. Sometimes second chances are better than the first try, and this book shows it! Loved it!
