Even if I hadn’t enjoyed this book, “Wild and Wrangled” would have been a five star read for the Emmy update alone. I loved Cam and Dusty’s story and maybe I’m of unpopular opinion, but this book made me love Cam more than I already did.

The final book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series centers around Dusty and Cam. I was excited for their story as they were background characters in the other books. This definitely ended the series on a high note. This a fun series with lots of great chemistry, settings and covers. My favorite will always be Lost and Lassoed, but all were good. Cant wait to see what is next for Lyla Sage

3.5 ⭐️

Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced Copley in exchange for an honest review.

I think this is the best most enjoyable bittersweet goodbye to the characters of Rebel Blue Ranch! Cam and Dusty, oh what a journey to get here, loves!

Read if you like --
- second chance romance
- single mom
- small town romance
- high school sweethearts
- cowboys

This series is such a pleasant reading experience for me. Once I crack a book open, I lose myself in the writing and characters, their lives, their hearts. It's more than spice and definitely not just fluff. The story includes smart writing, top-tier banter, humor, and an engrossing storyline that is well developed and relatable.

What a beautiful send off for this series! I am normally not one that cries to see a series end, but I definitely teared up reading this one. The way Lyla writes these characters makes them feel so authentic and relatable. I found myself smiling, swooning, and loving every word the entire time. I can't wait to see what she writes next!

What a beautiful finale to this series. Cam and Dusty's story was so emotional - only amplified by the story being brought to life through flashbacks. Their lifelong connection had the reader rooting so hard for this couple. Adding to that, the immersion with the characters in the Ryder family made this story even sweeter.

This final chapter in the Rebel Blue series was so bittersweet. Watching Cam+Dusty fall in love, not once, but twice was so beautiful and nostalgic. I especially love the way that Lyla wine letters and notes from their past into their present day story of healing and finding happiness. The balance of Cam seeking to loosen up a bit and Dusty’s desire to find stability was perfect. After four books of teasing, it was really fun to get to know both of these characters more in depth. It felt like Dusty was a little more flushed out than Cam but overall, I really loved both of their arcs. I also really enjoyed the farewell tour of the entire cast of Rebel Blue woven directly into the story. I’m so sad this was over but enjoy their love story!

do we really need to say goodbye to Rebel Blue Ranch? 😭
this series has been like a hug, and I’ll miss it.

✦ tropes & stuff:
2️⃣ second chance
💜 single mom (daughter Riley)
⌛️ dual timeline
🏠 neighbors/forced proximity
🤠 cowboys/small town
🐢 slow burn
🫶🏼 family + found family
💞 dual 1st person pov

📝 mini blurb:
After being left at the altar, and all of her perfect plans for her daughter’s future going to dust, Cam’s life is turned upside down as she’s left without a direction, or a place to live.

Her dream house is up for rent, so she moves in. Little does she know her new neighbor is none other than Dusty, her first love and her first everything.

They’ve both tried to stay away from each other for far too long, but forced into proximity there’s no denying they’re meant to be.

⭐️: 4.5/5
🌶️: open door, a few descriptive scenes

“I’ll love you until we’re dust in the wind, Camille Ashwood.”

💭 what I loved about this one:
- the author’s note 🥹
- the notes 📝
- their tattoos 🤭
- the dual timeline - being able to see Cam & Dusty fall for each other twice
- Riley 🥹 (Cam’s daughter) - loved her in the previous books, continued to love her in this one
- getting an update on all the couples from the previous books 🥰

🙃 what didn’t quite work for me:
- the 3rd act breakup - it just didn’t make sense to me - I knew Wes calls her out (Cam), but sometimes her actions just bothered me

📖 Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage
📚 book 4 • Rebel Blue Ranch series
💜: contemporary romance

Thank you to Dial Press/Random House Publishing and NetGalley for an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

Dusty Tucker the man you are! I absolutely love Dusty and Cam! Dusty is Cam's peace and Cam keeps Dusty steady, they truly compliment each other so well. Also Cam also being an avoidant attachment girlie and getting to see Ada and Wes help her through that was so heartwarming. I love how all the characters are there for each other, everyone in the Ryder clan is truly looked after and cared for and I absolutely adore that! The wrap up of this series was everything I hoped for and more. Getting to read about Emmy & Luke's wedding day just solidified that I am not ready to say goodbye to Rebel Blue.

Lyla Sage has been on the scene for a couple years now with the success of the Rebel Blue Ranch series. It has been on my periphery, as my best friend is a massive fan of the series and we are going to the book release next weekend! What I wasn’t expecting was how much I would fall in love with the world Sage has built within the four books and the characters feeling like people I would want in my orbit. I’ve spent the past two weeks devouring the first three novels and was sent an eARC of the newest release ‘Wild and Wrangled’ and didn’t want the story to end.

‘Wild and Wrangled’ concludes the story of the Rebel Blue Ranch with the characters of Dusty and Cam. Their lives diverted after a horrible breakup post high-school, and fate found its way to bring them back together again. Dusty has found himself back in Meadowlark and thriving at the Rebel Blue Ranch. Cam is fresh off a runaway-groom situation and is beginning to piece her life back together. I don’t want to tell anymore than this, as the story is beautiful and such a great ending to the Meadowlark crew. The additional epilogue was a tear-jerker and a perfect little bow to tie up this quartet.

Thank you @netgalley and @thedialpress for this eARC. ‘Wild and Wrangled’ is available for pre-order and will be released Tuesday, April 15.

A great series and this was a great addition to it (even if ending it breaks my heart). Seeing Dusty and Cam's story resolve and grow is a perfect way to pull the series to a close since we've seen them circling toward this story for a while. As always this book is like a cozy bath that just lets me sink deep into. I appreciated the balance to seeing the cast of characters over the series but also letting Dusty and Cam shine through. Their chemistry and angst were so well done and made me root so hard for their long awaited happily ever after.
Each book I read of Lyla Sage cements to me that I will read everything she writes - there is no trope, topic, or genre that I didn't think I would like that she can't make me fall in love with.

I'm just a little bit heartbroken this is my last visit to Rebel Blue Ranch. I have loved each book, Cam and Dusty's love was a wonderful send off.
I have a hard time calling this a second chance romance because the love they shared never ended <3
Can't wait to see what Lyla Sage has in store.

This was such a great ending to the series and so sad it is over. Honestly, this one may be my favorite of them all. Swoony romance wth realistic vibes that don’t seem out of reach. Can’t wait for others to read this one!

the second chance romance lover in me was sooo at home with this story. cam & dusty had the rare, all consuming young love, seeing them fall for each other again in adulthood was just the best. lyla sage created magic when she wrote this series, and this was the perfect ending. sad to leave rebel blue ranch, loved getting to spend time here the last two years 🥹

*thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this title. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by receiving this copy.

Based off the cover I really thought Greg was going to be abusive and that’s why the wedding got called off, so I was very happy when that wasn’t the case.

I loved this series so much but this one just left something to be desired, idk. It had less ranch time (which makes sense), but it lacked that thing that drew me in to the other books because of it. So I think that’s what made me enjoy this just ever so slightly less. Also for Cam being Riley’s mom in the same sense that Gus is her dad, we saw her way less in this book than we did in Gus’.

I loved the flash backs to tell their parallel stories, so we could see what happened the first time alongside our current love story. I like that their story started slow with them becoming friends before jumping into a relationship. I think a lot of teen based relationships in books skip that step.

There was also the loose end with her parents that I kinda don’t understand how that could’ve been left out. Like they had this big blow up that Cam and Dusty ran away from, and then we just never hear from them again. With as much as Cam sought their approval and based everything she did around their own wants over hers, I was expecting more resolution than this. Though maybe the author intended the gala blowup to serve as the resolution, I didn’t really get that vibe from that interaction.

Overall though, a good conclusion to our story! I kinda wish Kenny got a book since he had been around since chapter one of book one. So maybe in the future..???

Wild and Wrangled is the last book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series and it's definitely bittersweet. I've loved this series and getting to be with this fantastic group of people. In this book we finally focus on Camille and Dusty and their long overdue happy ever after. They have quite the history so the had some challenged to overcome but that definitely made the happy ever after all the sweeter. I loved getting to see all our other characters be so involved in this love story and how they've all grown. I really look forward to reading whatever Lyla Sage does not!

Also, the epilogue made me bawl because I love them all so much,

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

(I have since bought a physical copy of this book because I love it.)

A wonderful way to wrap up this series! I love Lyla and cannot wait to see what she does next. Great chemistry and great characters. A big yes for romance fans!

the final installment of the rebel blue ranch series and I'm sad to see if go but this couldn't have ended on a sweeter note. Cam and Dusty's chemistry is TOP TIER and Lyla Sage expertly bottles their tension in a way few authors can do and do well.

Camille becomes a jilted bride when her groom leaves her at the isle. She turns to the town and people she found comfort in her whole life - Meadowlark, Wyoming and Rebel Blue Ranch. And there she finds Dusty Tucker her first and some might say her only love. When she has to start over, she decides to finally do it in way that is on her terms and her terms alone. Not her overly critical and unloving parents, not her friends, or her daughter. Just hers. As she learns to stand up for herself, she also learns how to maybe be friends with Dusty. If only he wasn't also her neighbor and in every memory of her young life in Meadowlark.

Dusty and Camille's story was nostalgic and beautiful. A true second chance 'it's always been you' tale.
Lyla's writing is beautiful and paints a beautiful picture that played out in my mind like a movie.
The Rebel Blue Ranch crew will be missed, but like Lyla said in the forward...nothing lasts forever, not even goodbyes!

Thank you to Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group for the E-Arc
This was my first cowboy romance and I can see the appeal! This book was fun and not what I was expecting. I liked Cam and right away felt for her since we start off immediately with her being left at the alter. Dusty is the guy that every girl wants. He's funny, charming, and knows everything about you and how to deal with your different emotions. I had a lot of fun reading this and learning about their past and why they broke up in the first place. I was a little sad that we didn't see more of Riley. I get that she just got stood up so we were focusing on her moving on from that but I felt like that was a relationship that could have been better explored. Overall I thought this was a fun first cowboy romance for me. I will say towards the end of the book is where you started to lose me...

SPOILERS AHEAD

Around the 80% mark is where you started to lose me. I wasn't sure why there was so much left in the book. She was with him, he loved her kid, everyone was happy they were together, and they both had jobs. Happily ever after right? Wrong. As one might have predicted Dusty was the one who owned the house and he forgot to tell her. Instead of having a conversation she got mad that she didn't know because it meant that she didn't own it. Even though she never did... because she was renting it. I get that the author was trying to show how Cam was trying to run away again so she couldn't get hurt but this was silly. It didn't make a whole lot of sense to me to blow up an entire relationship for something so stupid.
