A lovely wrap to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Cam and Dusty’s second chance romance captured the perfect balance of pining for a life-long love and a fear that love may have been lost. Dusty’s confidence in high school, his ease-in return to Cam’s life, including leaning in to caring for Riley; all contributed to building a character who demonstrates what quiet competence looks like in a leading character. No frills-but a solid delivery of how we could dream about how two people could find one another again. Dusty’s letters to Cam in high school are butterfly inducing.

What a great way to say goodbye to the world of Rebel Blue! Even though this installment was not my favorite in the series, I still deeply enjoyed it form start to finish.
You couldn't help but root for Dusty & Cam, especially because the author did such a wonderful job at showing each of the ways that they never stopped loving each other. Having both timelines of Dusty & Cam's relationship was a game-changer: It allowed us to see why they were still so attached to one another, while showing us the mistakes that led them to break up. Everything that happened in the modern day felt more high-stakes when you knew all the history they had to lose. It was easy to empathize with Cam & why she made the decisions she did; Dusty was a great balance for her while remaining a strong character in his own right. Their chemistry was so believable and fun.
If I had one critique of this book, it would be that I wish we'd gotten more of Riley. She's such an integral part of Cam's story, but she felt like such a small cog in this book. That said, it never really detracted from my enjoyment.
Lastly, I loved the bonus scene included at the very very end. It was such a sweet way to say goodbye to the series and these characters. I could barely read past the tears in my eyes.
I'm so excited to see what Lyla Sage has in store for us next!
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for the ARC of this book.

BOOK REVIEW: WILD & WRANGLED 🐴🌾💘
I can’t believe this is the end of the Rebel Blue Ranch series!!! 😩❤️🩹 this series holds such a special place in my heart and I feel like Wild & Wrangled wrapped it up so perfectly.
Cam’s always had a plan, but when the groom doesn’t show up to her wedding it turns things upside down. Cam’s path crosses with her first love, Dusty, when she moves into a new rental home with her daughter and realizes he lives in the guest house out back. It doesn’t take long for their spark to reignite.💕
Ugh I love Dusty and Cam!!! I love how this second chance romance was done - that can be such a tricky trope but Lyla executed it perfectly!! The alternate timelines and POVs were 10/10 and I loved every minute of this first love, second chance romance! Also as always loved the cameos from other characters from previous books and the found family elements of this series!
Can’t wait to read Lyla’s new series - Sweetwater Peak, coming Sept 2025!!!🤩✨

I love love love second chance romance and this one is a doozy. I've been dying to get the story of Cam and Dusty since their passing encounter in the previous title. I knew there was a serious history there and I'm so glad we finally got to experience their story. I thought both MC's personal growth throughout flash backs and present-day story was really inspiring, especially since they were teenagers when their love story started. In the end, they needed to be apart in order to make it later on, and it takes a lot of maturity to realize that. I also thought Dusty's growing relationship with Cam's daughter Riley was really sweet and heartwarming. The soccer game scene was so fun. If you enjoyed the other books in the series, you'll love this one. I'm so sad that the Rebel Ranch series is coming to an end, but I'm excited to see what Lyla Sage will give us next.

You know, I was not expecting to be into romantic Westerns but Lyla Sage is really making me change all my preconceived notions. This was my second novel of hers, and I really wish I had another one to read! What a fantastic series. It’s full of heart, heat, banter, joy, and humor. I think readers will love this one, Lyla Sage is definitely up there on authors who are going to leave lasting impressions in the best way in a crowded market.

An emo music loving, tattooed cowboy AND a single parent trope? Sign. Me. Up. I'm so sad that this was the last book of the Rebel Blue Ranch series, but man, it ended perfectly. I just loved Cam and Dusty's story. I especially enjoyed getting a lot of their history through their letters to each other. I would have loved just a little more of them in the present, though as well. Lyla Sage is secured as a must-read author for me!

This one didn’t seem as immersive as the rest of the books in the series. The MMC didn’t have much to him and he just was in love with the FMC the whole time, which is fine, it just made it kind of a slow read. It was definitely well written and it was a good finale to the series. I just loved the other three books with all my heart and this one just kinda fell flat.

One last trip to Rebel Blue and it did not disappoint. Cam and Dusty were high school sweethearts. But life got in the way and hearts were broken. Now, fifteen years later, they have a second chance at romance. 💕 My heart ached for Dusty while waiting for Cam to feel brave enough to love again. The whole cast of characters of the rest of the Rebel Blue series made an appearance in this final installment. Loved the bonus chapter of Emmy’s wedding 🥺 I will miss this series so much!
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for the advance digital copy with me in exchange for my honest review.

3.5 stars rounded down. This was a great ending to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. I was hooked at the beginning, but then had a hard time connecting and relating to Cam and Dusty compared to other characters and couples in the series. I think Emmy’s epilogue was the perfect ending to the series though.

I requested an ARC of this book because of its gorgeous cover and because I'd seen these books everywhere. I then found out it was #4 in a series, so I read Done and Dusted to get a gist of the world and ended up not a fan at all.
That being said, I enjoyed this one more than Done and Dusted. I liked the two main characters a lot more and their romance felt a lot more realistic to me. The flashbacks to their high school romance, though mushy, were kind of cute. For some reason I really like second chance romances despite hating it in real life (I'd smack any of my friends sideways for getting back with an ex). I also appreciated the healthy coparenting relationship between the main character has and her father's daughter. The Ryder family at the center of this series is heartwarming, though so, so sappy.
After hating Luke Brooks (the male love interest in Done and Dusted) I was actually digging Dusty... Until he became kind of pissy and annoying. I think this book would be a solid 3 stars for me if not for the last third-- it felt weirdly rushed and anticlimactic at the same time.
Overall, I am just not a fan of Lyla Sage's writing. There were so many sentences and descriptions that made me cringe.
If you love incredibly cheesy, tropey, and smutty romances, this series is for you! It was not for me. 2.5 stars.
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing group for the eArc. And give the artist who designs these covers a raise!!!

I am honored to have received an e-arc of this book. Equal parts heart-warming, swoon-worthy and tear-jerking, I can happily say that Dusty Tucker has been added to my book boyfriend list. (Sorry to my actual boyfriend!) Lyla Sage writes men and romance that we all hope to one day experience and meet.

"I'll love you until we're dust in the wind, Camille Ashwood." Whew! Dusty, the man that you are. He was so down bad for Cam and I was obsessed.
There were many emotions running through me when I finished this book. Second chance romance is always a hit or miss with me and of course Lyla Sage made this a huge hit for me.
Dusty and Cam’s story was so sweet and the growth they both showed made me believe in their relationship. I think the way Lyla developed their relationship and laid out the complexities with their dynamic really showed me how much Dusty and Cam cared and loved each other. Love is not linear, and Dusty and Cam’s story truly showed that. As always, it was so nice to dip into the Rebel Blue Ranch world and see the whole gang. Teddy will always be my fav and I loved getting to see Gus and Cam's co-parenting relationship.
This was such a bittersweet ending to the Rebel Blue Ranch series and I’m truly going to miss all these characters. Excited to see what Lyla Sage does next in the Sweetwater Peak series!

Save the best for last. Dusty Tucker is that MAN. I can’t stop thinking about this book. As for Cam, she is such an iconic leading lady. Obsessed

I love Rebel Blue Ranch and this final story was no different. Dusty and Cam's story was beautifully told and had me filled with nostalgia and yearning. I really enjoyed seeing the female friendships grow throughout this series and the role they play in this book. As with Lyla's other books, this was filled with hot cowboys, strong women, and tender and caring relationships.

I can’t believe the last book of the Rebel Blue Ranch is here! I have loved this series and all of the characters in it. Each book was unique yet connected which just made me more invested in the stories.
In book four, Wild and Wrangled, we get to dive into Camille Ashwood’s story. On her wedding day, the groom doesn’t show and she is left to face the music by herself. She finds herself in the bathroom of the bar we have all come to love owned by one of our favorite cowboys. What she doesn’t expect is to have Dusty Tucker to be the one to get her the heck out of dodge. Dusty, her once in a lifetime love who she has not been close to in fifteen years. The same Dusty Tucker she will find herself living next to in her hometown.
This second chance romance took me a few chapters to get into, but once I was in it and couldn’t stop reading. I loved Dusty’s character and how deeply he cared for Camille and her daughter. This story was about growth and finding each other in the end and I absolutely loved it.

This book very much tied a neat bow on the Rebel Blue series with an even greater focus on found family. The jilted bride premise totally hooked me - although I had a much harder time connecting with Cam than most of Lyla Sage's other characters. But Emmy's final epilogue was absolute perfection!
Thanks to Netgalley and Random House for this one.

This is a lovely end to a lovely series. Though not my favorite of the series, this one feels special—more heartfelt, more personal. The inclusion of flashbacks gives it a special touch, and—my goodness—if you’re looking for a love story with longing, look no further than the male main character. While I do wish there were some areas of the story that were explored in more depth and while I do feel like there’s some conflict that’s unnecessary, overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The epilogue for the series feels like a beautiful, book-end type of goodbye to our family at Rebel Blue Ranch. If you’ve enjoyed any of the series, this won’t disappoint for a heartwarming read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for an ARC of this book.

We would like to thank Net Galley for an ARC of this novel - it's a wonderful end to an amazing first time series for Layla Sage. We have covered 3 of the 4 in the series for our podcast, Wild and Wrangled the most recent release. Absolutely beautiful and emotional, and we finally what happened "that night" with Gus and Cam. So satisfying.
Single mom, Cam, has never gotten over her first love, and :spoiler alert: he hasn't ever forgotten her. Dusty returns to Meadowlark to be closer to his mother and to possibly gain a second chance, with his high school love, Camille. While Cam is open to friendship, after 15 years apart, rekindling a relationship with Dusty is not in the cards. When they become unexpected neighbors, the magnetic pull between the two may prove too much to ignore.
What we liked:
- DUSTY. PERIOD. END OF SENTENCE.
- Amos Ryder comes in clutch AGAIN in this book with the most insightful advice and unconditional love
- The box of notes.
What we didn't like as much:
- The third act breakup was not needed.
- We needed more closure with a certain parental relationship.
Honestly, you will want to read these books in order to get the most out of this book. While each are a standalone, the build up to one particular scene between Gus and Camille isn't as poignent if you've not read the previous 3. As this is a new first series for Lyla Sage, we are absolutely thrilled to read what she has in store for the future.

Another hit for Lyla Sage! I’ve been patiently waiting for this book and was so happy to receive an early copy. I really enjoyed the dynamics between Dusty and Cam and the second chance trope. I am sad to see this series end but excited to see what she will come up with next!

Lyla Sage does no wrong, and I'm so sad to see Wild Blue Ranch come to a close. I love that the series ended with Cam's story because I've spent all of the previous books wondering about her story. I do wish it would have shared more about Cam's parents and how her relationship with them ended, but overall I greatly enjoyed Wild and Wrangled.
