Honestly, I found both The Rebel Blue Series and Wild and Wrangled a bit disappointing. I was eagerly anticipating tales of cowboys and a picturesque ranch, but I just didn’t connect with it. Sadly, Wild and Wrangled was likely my least favorite. I struggled to relate to Cam and Dusty, and I didn’t enjoy how this installment seemed disconnected from the ranch setting. Additionally, I wasn't a fan of how the romance scenes were portrayed. However, I know many people who absolutely love this series and encourage others to give it a shot! Just because it didn't resonate with me doesn't mean it won't be perfect for you!

Another excellent addition to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. The build up to these characters' stories made readers already deeply invested, but there is no lack of emotional investment if read as a standalone.

Wild & Wrangled absolutely has my heart, Camille & Dusty are actually everythinggg to me - I can’t express that enough. I will never shut up about this book. My favorite one in this series - and favorite book I’ve read so far this year. I read it in January and STILL think about it all the time!! I’ll definitely be rereading it soon so I can be a part of their world again.

I really loved the dual time lines & flashbacks, it helped me understand them on a more foundational level and I really appreciated getting a glimpse of them in the past. It helped me feel more connected to the characters on a deeper level for sure. Also the Chili’s rep?? So real lol.

Camille & Dusty’s love is the type where they would find each other in every universe, they are *that* meant to be and it was palpable through the pages of this book. The tension, the angst, the YEARNINGGG. SO good. And the amount of growth they both had was beautiful. Also Cam is suchhh an incredible mom.

So much unconditional love, respect, and support not only between the two of them but from everyone else in the book. I’m obsessed with every character in this series, I swear lol.

Couldn’t recommend this book, and this series, enough. Sad to see it come to an end but so happy to have been able to be inside this world 🤎

Ugh, this book was bittersweet! Sweet because it was amazingly written and developed, bitter because it was the last installment in the Rebel Blue Ranch Series. Riley’s mom, Camille, is the star of Wild and Wrangled and follows her second chance romance. Camille captured my attention at the end of Lost and Lassoed, so when I received an Advanced Copy of this novel from @netgalley, I almost died! This book was the perfect ending to Rebel Blue, although I selfishly want more, I will be waiting for Lyla Sage’s next work!

Synopsis: Camille Ashwood had always loved a plan. Her latest was her best yet. She was going to get married so she could secure her daughter’s future, get her overbearing parents off her back, and finally start building her own life in small-town Meadowlark, Wyoming. Easy, right?

But when her groom doesn’t show up to the wedding, Cam’s life is turned upside down—she doesn’t even have a place to live. That is until she finds out the house she’s loved since high school is available to rent. There’s only one problem: the neighbor.

This one was a stunner!!! I was so excited to finally be able to read the latest Rebel Blue book! I've been waiting for Cam & Dusty's story and Lila FULLY delivered! Cam & Dusty just might get the second chance they never thought they could have after Cam's wedding to another man doesn't go as expected. I loved the way she wrote this one, and the way that Dusty and Riley's relationship developed was absolutely precious! Absolutely loved it, and although I'm sad that our time with Rebel Blue is over, I'm so looking forward to Lyla's next series!

I thought this book was deeply romantic. I loved how the flashbacks and letters and current scenes were woven together. I liked how Dusty was SO in love with her. And how he kept finding ways to connect with her and move their friendship forward.

There were a few plot lines that didn't wrap up and therefore didn't give me the closure or information I needed at the end of the book. :/

Overall, I think it's my favorite of the series though!

This is a bittersweet review because it means I have to say goodbye to Rebel Blue Ranch and I fear I am just not ready.

I loved Cam and Dusty's story. I have been dying to find out what happened between them since the 'girl's night' in Swift and Saddled.
While I'm usually not a fan of second chance romances because of the inevitable flashback scenes, I felt Lyla Sage placed them very strategically so that they added to the story instead of being a distraction. Dusty's longing and hesitancy combined with Cam's analytical nature and sarcasm was the perfect mix of angst and light heartedness that is always perfection in this series.

I also loved seeing Cam in mom mode and how the rest of the cast rotates around Riley like she is their own personal sun (Sunshine).

While this wasn't my favorite book in the series, (Lost and Lassoed just can't be beat) I did enjoy this wrap-up to the series and actually teared up at the Wedding scene. It was the perfect end to this whirlwind series and I hope to one day find the peace that Rebel Blue Ranch gave him in my own homestead.

Layla Sage write about life. How things can be misinterpreted if not spoken out loud. Feelings and insecurities especially. I enjoy this series and am looking forward to the next.

I am such a sucker for these lighthearted, sappy love stories and Wild and Wrangled hit the spot.

I loved both Dusty and Cam, and I've been waiting for them to have their story since that fateful girls night in Swift and Saddled. There was just so much unfinished business there, but waiting for the resolution made the outcome so much sweeter.

I'm not usually a fan of of second-chance romances, just because it usually means that something bad happened or someone did something that makes it hard for me to get back in the right mindset of them being together. But the way that Sage tackled it felt authentic and realistic, and it really added to the story.

It's sad that Rebel Ranch is coming to an end, but I loved existing in this world for the brief time I got to do so. I can't wait to see what happens next for Lyla Sage, and I know I'll be reading it.

What a bittersweet ending to this series. I adored Cam and Dusty and their relationship and his will to never give up. Please. It was so sweet and precious and I’m sad our time in Meadowlark has come to an end 😭

A beautiful conclusion to one of my all-time favorite series. While this book is definitely my least favorite of the series, it still had the same aspects that made me fall in love with this fictional world to begin with. Watching the whole Ryder clan and their partners come together for Cam and Dusty was so so beautiful and were some of my favorite parts of this book. Like Gus being there for Cam towards the end of the book genuinely made me sob and Amos continued to give some of the best, most heart-warming advice I have ever read.

I think I didn't connect with this one as much as the others because second-chance romance is always tough to pull off in my opinion and very few authors do it convincingly for me personally. I do think Lyla did a good enough job with this with how young Cam and Dusty were when they were first together and how they grew separately but still found their way to each other, but I think my issue is that everything felt very surface-level to me. I never really felt like I was in Cam's head during the flashbacks and it felt like such a sudden jump from "oh I want to run away with you" to "this isn't working out for me." I even felt like the present timeline had such a drastic switch in Cam being unsure to them making out in the bathroom. I think if these feelings were explored a bit more I would have had a better time with this.

Rebel Blue is my favorite fictional place ever and I am so sad to say bye but I trust Lyla wholeheartedly and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us with Sweetwater Peak <3

I SOBBED through this whole book. It was heart achingly beautiful, one of Lyla's best. A story about growing apart and coming back together, about finding the road that finally leads you home.

Plus, having it be the end of the Rebel Blue series made it that much more emotional. I've grown to love all these characters, and I feel like l'm there when I read about them. Thank you Lyla, for writing such a loving and beautiful series.

This was everything I never knew I needed. I laughed. I cried. There isn’t much else to say except I will forever love Rebel Blue!!

Screaming. Crying. Throwing up. Lying on the floor whispering “Dusty…” like a prayer.

This book wrecked me in the best way. Dusty is the literal perfect book boyfriend—no notes. He’s calm, patient, loving, kind, accepting… just a walking green flag in boots. The way he steps back into Cam’s life so gently, like he’s afraid to break something already bruised, but also with the quiet confidence of someone who never stopped loving her? Absolute perfection.

Every moment with Cam’s daughter? I MELTED. Dusty reading the room, taking her lead, never overstepping but always showing up? Perfection. And let’s talk about the emotional whiplash I got every time he poured his heart out, just straight-up telling Cam he’d wait forever. Like?? WHO SAYS THAT? Who MEANS that?? Dusty does.

And then—then—he stands up to her awful parents like a knight in armor and helps Cam find her strength to walk away?? My soul left my body. I love him. I love HIM.

Also, shoutout to Cam. Watching her grow, reclaim her voice, and figure out who she really is without anyone else’s expectations weighing her down? So beautiful. She’s strong, smart, and fierce as hell by the end, and I was rooting for her every step of the way.

Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage completely pulled me in. I loved Cam and Dusty’s love story—emotional, swoony, and full of second-chance romance goodness. Dusty was the perfect book boyfriend, and the notes he wrote Cam (both as teens and throughout their years apart) absolutely melted me.

The alternating timeline between the present and 15 years ago added so much depth to their connection. Seeing how their dynamic shifted from teenagers to adults made their reunion feel even more meaningful.

That said, Cam’s constant people-pleasing—especially with her parents—got a little frustrating. I also would’ve loved to see more of Riley, Cam’s daughter. Her growing bond with Dusty was really sweet, and it felt like a missed opportunity not to explore that more.

The spice was on point, the emotions were strong, and the small-town charm really came through. Overall, I really enjoyed this one. Huge thanks to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy!

i squealed in delight that i got to read this book early and it did not disappoint! this was my first series to read that takes place out west and i loved how cozy and family oriented it felt — while i didn’t grow up out west, i did grow up in a small town so it just gave such nostalgic vibes that felt special. i love a story where the characters have a great community besides just each other because i feel like you get so much more out of it instead of it being solely about the romance of the main two characters — sometimes those plots just make me feel empty at the end. while i don’t think this was deserving of a 5 star rating, i still really enjoyed myself! i needed more of a resolution with cam at the end because i felt that was super rushed when considering the build up. the inevitable miscommunication in all romance books felt a little small compared to the reactions and i just needed the reconciliation to be flushed out more to where i felt like they were in a good place. i did love the bonus chapter at the end and how it brought the entire series full circle — it was an amazing conclusion! loved the dual timeline and dual POV’s. all in all, lyla sage is a really cozy writer and i can’t wait to see what else she releases in the future…this was a treat!

4.5 stars, I loved this one seeing the notes dusty wrote for cam is adorable. I loved the past present timeline too, I couldn’t rate this five stars just because of how much I loved lost and lassoed. Thank you for netgalley for providing this arc,

I absolutely adore the Rebel Blue Ranch series by Lyla Sage. I connected so much with her second book in the series, and have not been disappointed by any of her books yet. So being able to read an advanced copy of her final book in the series was a highly emotional experience for me.

In my opinion, I think Lyla Sage did an outstanding job at give Rebel Blue the loving farewell it deserves. The second chance romance in this book was so sweet while still giving space to the previous characters. There were so many emotional moments in this book. I especially appreciated that the author chose to include a wedding scene with the very first FMC, as a sort of full circle moment… but also a clever introduction to her new series, which I, of course, intend to devour upon release. I would greatly appreciate it if I was considered to read an advanced copy of that too 😉

I’m sad to leave Rebel Blue, but will cherish these books with all my heart.

I really enjoyed this final book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. We met Cam in the previous books and I was so happy to finally get her story. Her past (especially with Dusty) was really interesting to read about. I liked getting her point of view and reading about what happened between her and Gus. Riley was also such a fun character and I loved reading more about her.

Dusty would do anything for Cam. The way he was there for her from the very beginning of the book was perfect. This man was so patient. He was also super sweet with Riley and I love how he included her. I also enjoyed reading about his past and I loved how he got Cam’s attention back in high school.

This book does have a dual timeline and it worked flawlessly. Of course, we see the past couples from the previous three books and they were all amazing. Each of the couples, and Amos, really helped Cam and Dusty in one way or another. Although Cam wasn’t blood, she was still family. I liked the progression of the relationship between these two and it felt realistic.

The narrators for this audiobook did a fantastic job, as always!

I am so sad that this series is over. It got me into cowboy romances and I cannot wait to go back and reread these books. I would definitely recommend this book to any of my cowboy, second chance, single parent romance loving besties!
