Lyla sage has done it again. Ending the rebel ranch series with a bang. I truly loved both of these main characters. The story between them is one that keeps you turning pages. (I read this in less than a day) cam and dusty might be my favorite couple from this series. Lyla sage wrote out their story perfectly, including flashbacks that matched up with the present day timeline. I can’t wait to see what Lyla sage has planned for the future.

as a standalone, this was a fairly solid romance. ad the conclusion to the rebel blue series, i wish it had been a bit MORE. more romantic, more found family, more of all of these characters together in one last hurrah (ignore the grandma language). dusty and cam had the childhood friends to lovers second chance going for them and to be reconnected as a single mom(!!) felt underutilized!! where were the cute interactions of them getting to know each other and becoming a unit?! i did however fly through this and read it in one sitting, but i feel like it isn’t a stand out book for the series

wow. i honestly can’t believe this is the end of the rebel blue ranch series. wild and wrangled was such a satisfying conclusion, and i’m so sad to say goodbye to these characters and this world. dusty and cam’s story is everything i could’ve wanted and more. i’m a sucker for the second chance romance trope, so when i saw this was about dusty and cam, i knew i was in for a treat. and honestly, this one might just be my favorite book of the entire series, which is shocking because the single daddy trope is my kryptonite.

i’m totally here for the ‘wrong time, right person’ dynamic. dusty knew cam was the one from the beginning, and seeing them come back together after all these years, understanding what went wrong and why the timing wasn’t right before, just made their reunion feel that much more powerful. i truly adored this book and how their story unfolded. i also really enjoyed the dual timeline, which let us see the present day and also the flashbacks to their high school days. i do wish we could’ve had a bit more insight into their past relationship, but honestly, i think the flashbacks were just enough to give us the context we needed without dragging things out.

now, the only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars for me is because of the third-act breakup. however, even though i wasn’t a huge fan of this particular conflict, it did make sense for cam’s character arc, and it didn’t drag on unnecessarily. so, overall, it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book too much.

dusty is literally EVERYTHING. he’s the type of guy who will drop everything to help others, whether it’s caring for lonely older women or just being there when someone needs him. he’s the epitome of a good-hearted, caring guy, and cam is the perfect match for him. i love how they balance each other out, and their journey felt so real and relatable.

this was a bittersweet read, for sure. it’s hard to say goodbye to these characters, but i’m grateful to have been on this journey with them. wild and wrangled is a beautiful conclusion to the series, and it’s definitely my favorite!!!

I can’t believe this is it. This world of meadowlark means so much to me. I love this story, this world, the characters, the love and the friendships and found family. Wild and Wrangled is such a satisfying end to the Blue Rebel Ranch series. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye but I know these characters will be alright. This is Dusty’s and Cam’s boo and one thing about me is I love the second chance romance trope. I love that we got Dual POV and timelines we saw them current and back in high school. Dusty knew from the min he saw Cam she was the one. I love stories where both characters find their way back to each other and come to understand why the timing didn’t work before—it makes their reunion feel all the more meaningful

I really enjoyed this book and how it wrapped up the Rebel Blue Ranch series. I was unsure going in about the relationship as we don't know much about Dusty and Cam, but the flashbacks showed how great these two are together, and as a reader, you just get pulled into their romance. Again, Riley is such a ray of sunshine; I could read a whole series of children's books about her adventures. The way Lyla wraps up the whole book/series was perfect and had me staying up way too late to finish it.

I have been looking forward to Cam and Dusty's story since book 2, and Lyla Sage did not disappoint! I absolutely adored their love story. I loved that we got flashbacks to see how they started, and how their connection has lasted over a decade of not seeing each other. I loved how Dusty supported Cam and challenged her to go after what she wanted. I am so sad to be leaving the Ryders and the Rebel Blue Ranch world, but Lyla managed to end it beautifully. I cannot wait to read whatever she writes next.

This was a book that I wanted to savor and speed through. I have become enamored with the world Lyla Sage has created at Rebel Blue Ranch. It may not exist, but I’ve never wanted to visit Wyoming before in my life. Now, it’s been added to the bucket list. Cam’s story was always one I was interested in getting, especially after seeing Gus fall in love in Lost and Lassoed. I think it was a fitting end to the story, though I do wish we would have gotten to see the wedding of one very special couple in the epilogue.

What I Liked:

The Setting—I am an East Coast girl through and through, but these books have made me crave the west in a way I never have!

The Characters—I love them all so much. THe found family and real family aspects I think can be so healing for so many readers. Also Dusty Tucker, good lord does that man have a way with words.

The Trope—I’m a sucker for a good second chance Romance. I liked how this played out with short flashbacks and notes.

What Didn’t Work:

The Pacing—I’m not sure why exactly, but something felt off with how things played out and it might just be that I haven’t read a second chance in a while.

Another anticipated read that did not disappoint!! This was such a bittersweet read! I can’t believe this series is over but this was the perfect way to end Rebel Blue Ranch series. I’m so happy that we finally get Cam and Dusty’s story. This is a second chance romance that is so heartwarming. Seriously the yearning, the things they said, and the flashbacks Ugh It was just perfect! 😭🩷✨

*Wild and Wrangled* is the kind of final book that wraps around your heart and squeezes tight in all the best—and most tear-jerking—ways. Layla Sage absolutely nailed the ending to this Meadowlark series, and I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about Camille Ashwood and Dusty Tucker.

Camille had always loved a plan, and her latest one was foolproof: marry the “right” guy, get her parents off her back, secure her daughter’s future, and finally start her real life. But when her groom bails, everything spirals—until she finds herself renting the house she’s loved since high school. Of course, it comes with one big catch: Dusty Tucker lives next door. This book delivers everything I crave in a friends-to-lovers, slow-burn romance. Watching Dusty and Cam slowly, painfully, and beautifully find their way back to each other had me grinning and sobbing all in the same breath. The flashbacks—those 15-year-deep glimpses into their past—made their reconnection all the more powerful. Each memory layered in so much heart and history, I felt like I was right there with them.

Chapter 38 and 39 completely wrecked me—in the best way possible. I ugly cried. Full-on, nose-running, heart-clutching sobs. And I wouldn’t take back a single tear. Layla’s writing in those chapters was raw and vulnerable and *real.*

I also adored Gus and how he embraces it all with open arms. His quiet, steady presence brought such warmth, and the way the Ryder family fully takes Cam in—despite the coldness of her own—gave me hope and made my heart swell. Found family tropes get me every time, and this one was *so* well done.

Dusty and Cam's love story is the kind that grows deep roots. It was never flashy or fast—but rich, aching, and undeniably true. Watching them navigate their past scars to build something lasting in the present was the kind of healing love story I’ll come back to again and again.

I’m not ready to leave Meadowlark, but if I have to, I’m so glad this is the way we leave.

This is such a bittersweet read! I’m thrilled that we finally get Cam and Dusty’s story but really sad to say goodbye to the Rebel Blue crew.

I meant to savor this but accidentally read half the book in the past two days haha. It’s just as amazing as expected and I love the quick jumps back in time to hear more about their history.

Watching these two find their footing around each other now that they’re back in the same town is a ton of fun. Cam is reluctant to let Dusty in but he’s doing everything he can to prove with his actions that she can rely on him. It’s so easy for them, but so complicated!

I highly recommend this entire series (even if you’re not normally a cowboy romance person like me)!!

Dusty MF Tucker. That’s it, that’s the review😅 That man is now my top MMC. This man pines for his first love, Cam, and my heart was in my throat the whole time.
The angst and pining between Dusty and Cam had me bawling multiple times throughout their story. It was so beautifully written and the dual timeline made me fall in love with them even more.
This was the perfect ending to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Even though this book was emotional and raw we still get the banter between all the Ryder’s and their significant others. The found family in this series can’t be beat and is perfection. When I wasn’t sobbing I was laughing until I cried. I loved every minute of this series!

Camille Ashwood is left at the altar, which is why she ends up on a bathroom bar floor in her wedding dress in the lates book of the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Her best friend from high school, and her first love, Dusty sneaks her out and takes her on a long drive. And that's how they reconnect after years apart.

Why I started this book: Loved the rest of the series and I was ready for the next book.

Why I finished it: Struggled a little with this book, and asking myself why, I realized that I really hate flashbacks. Which makes second chance romances the absolute worst choice for me. Sage wrote the same quality as the other books so don't despair. I just learned a little more about myself and I won't be asking for any more second chances no matter how wonderful the author or the series.

It's a bit weird to read the last book of a series first, but I was lucky enough to get to read this ARC on NetGalley and didn't want to miss my opportunity.

So while I don't have the history and background of the rest of the characters, it was incredible to get to bear witness to Cam and Dusty's love.

High school sweethearts navigating being in each other's lives again and a failed marriage-of-convenience are always great storylines, but the standing up against strict and shitty parents (mothers specifically) really took the cake for this being an awesome book...and of course the spicy parts!

Now I have a new series to read and add to my books-to-buy list!!

This was just the most perfect way to end the series. Dusty & Cam's relationship is the definition of a soft place to land and they are SECOND CHANCE EXCELLENCE!!! All the cameos from the characters and seeing their relationships outside of their books made my heart supremely happy. Dusty is the blueprint for an ideal yearning and down bad man. Cam's resilience and her steadfast nature and growth was lovely to witness. It is so bittersweet that this series has come to an end but my world is better for having been able to immerse myself in it the way I have since Done & Dusted's indie release back in 2023. MY HEART IS SO FULL!!!

This was my first time reading the Rebel Blue Ranch series. For the most part, I was able to understand and follow along with the different characters/relationships & the general routines of the Ranch. Some of the supporting characters did feel a bit static, however, I think if I read the previous novels they would feel more flushed out. Overall, this is absolutely a book you can just pick up and enjoy without needing to read the whole series first. It was a fun, quick read & I can definitely see myself returning to the series/rereading this one once published (maybe check out the audio version too?). The cover art is also super cute!

This was a lovely addition to the series. While Teddy and Gus will always be my favourite in the series, Dusty and Cam have been a solid second chance romance and satisfying end to the series as a whole.

While I read it as an ebook-- I've listened to previous books in audio and its wonderfully narrated-- I would recommend listening to the series.

Love, Love, Love!!! I discovered Lyla Sage books last year and read the first three books in the Rebel Blue Ranch Series in 3 days. I have been eagerly awaiting Wild and Wrangled. The set up done with Cam and Dusty's characters in the earlier books was just enough to get me invested, but not enough to spoil this story.

Cam and Dusty have intense chemistry and an even more intense past. Sage gradually revealed parts of their past and what happened when they were younger, and how it has shaped their present. Cam was easy to connect with and very grounded. I was able to step into her shoes as her insecurities and fears drove her actions. Dusty was swoon-worthy and I loved how he wasn't embarrassed to let Cam and others know how he felt about her.

It was also nice to see a few of the previous characters pop in without it feeling like a reunion story.

Absolutely a recommended read for readers looking for a sweet and spicy love story!
