I haven't read the other books by this author but I enjoyed this light read. I liked the humor aspect and it was a quick read.

I enjoyed this book, but it definitely feels like it was written by a new author. It has a bit of twists but I felt like it was obvious who the killer is. #BowlingBodiesatSpareLanesAlley #NetGalley

What a great book! This author does a really good job of adding humor to her cozies. So much fun to read! I have read one other in the series and will look for the others next!

This was a strong fifth entry in the Lainey Maynard Mystery series, it had that element that I was looking for from the previous four entries. The characters had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed the mystery element going through this. The plot was everything that I was looking for and enjoyed the feel of this. Laura Hern has a great writing style and was hooked from the first page.
