This is the first time I have read anything by this author, and I was not disappointed. I loved this author. She did an amazing job with characters and laying out the story. It's based on American pioneers, and it was a really fascinating read. I highly recommend this one to the history/historical fiction lovers.

This was a strong historical fiction that I was looking for and enjoyed the feel of this book. It had that element that I was hoping for and enjoyed the overall feel of this story. I was engaged with the story going on and was glad I was able to read this story. Helen F. Wand has a strong writing style and enjoyed the way the characters were written.
