Volume two starts off where volume one ends.
Oz is an adorable little kitten and Morgana is trying to fix everything.

Morgana and Oz find themselves at a house in the woods with a mysterious doctor, who may be a little less mysterious than he looks, or...is he?
Once Morgana explains the situation the doctor helps her find a way to bring oz back to his vampire self.

This volume answers a lot of questions we had left in volume one but now you are left with even more.

I loved the flashback to Morgana as a little girl and how she met her first vampire, and how that plays a big role in how one of our fang friends feels about her, and how her family may have the wrong idea on what the vampires are.

Morgana and Mordecai learn that someone in their family is up to no good, but they aren't sure on who and why.

Morganas witches mark is changing , and no one is sure why or what that is supposed to mean.
I'm excited to see what happens with morgana and her magic as well as her ever growing friendship with our Oz.

I'm also interested in where Oz came from, we see a picture of him a s a young boy, was he a vampire then too, do they grow and age, or is Oz hiding his past ?

I absolutely love this series and i cant wait until i can read more in volume three.

A quick and cute second volume of Morgana and Oz. I wish more time was spent on story in this one, and I felt like it didn't cover as much ground as it could have. But I did like the story that was there, and enjoyed how fast it reads.

Thanks to Netgalley and Webtoon for the e-ARC!

ARC review : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Vol. 2 carries all the magic of Vol. 1 and more. This story keeps getting better. The art is beautiful and I'm in love with the characters. The magic system is fun and unique and I love the growing connection between the two main characters.

Heartwarming and charming. The story definitely has its darker edges, but the genuine beauty of this authors work is how bright hope shines during all these events.

That cliffhanger!! 100% need more of this series.

Thank you Netgalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book group |WEBTOON Unscrolled for the ARC.

I loved the first book in the series and I loved this one just as much. This one is deeper and darker—and it brought tears to my eyes—but it's still sprinkled with light and whimsy.

Beware the cliffhanger ending. I wanted this book to keep going and going. I was all in, completely engrossed in the book, when bam! an enticing new twist left me hanging.

Really a great series. I would suggest reading Vol 1 and 2 back to back, if you're able.

The second volume was a lot stronger plot-wise as we've gotten a little more in to the story. Really love the little hints we're getting has to why Morgana's control of magic is the way it is and the mystery that is building up in the background. Looking forward to the next volume!

The tension begins to mount as secrets slowly come to light.

Morgana is determined to correct her mistake of turning Oz into a cat but isn't sure how to go about it, since her magic is anything but dependable. Luckily, she's taken in by a witch...or maybe, luckily. While he does offer help, it also opens the door to a darker truth. Morgana's big heart has her wanting to do anything to help those around her, even her enemies. But the sacrifice to do that isn't exactly small.

The darker side of the tale begins to weave in as Morgana slowly digs into the truth behind the vampire's curse. This adds an edge which promises dangerous moments to come, and yet, there's still enough fun to buffer with much needed humor. As the story progresses, this also dims down a little. Instead, the intricate weave of secrets pokes its head to prove that this series isn't going to be as simple as it first appeared.

While Morgana is beginning to learn more about her magic, she's still a long way off from self-assuredness, which gives plenty to root for. Plus, her heart of gold makes her a character to get behind the entire way through. The other characters have their own personalities, problems, and intentions adding a little more depth. Of course, there is tons of friendship...forming ones which add to the tension and fun. Family is golden and adds spice thanks to the slightly, over-the-top personalities. There's also a hint of reverse harem vibes, but it doesn't appear this will go completely in that direction and will probably settle out to a nice romance. But that has a deliciously long way to go. Morgana has enough on her plate, for now.

The illustrations are well done and the colors match the atmosphere to bring across the emotions nicely. The text is well-placed and easy to read. The actions scenes draw in, but did have me smiling with the sound expressions. It all slides together nicely to create a fun read, and I can't wait to see where this is going next.

A mesmerizing sequel full of magic and emotion

Morgana and Oz, Vol. 2 immerses us in the continuation of this captivating story of magic, vampires, and self-discovery. The graphic novel picks up exactly where the first volume left off, revealing more about the relationship between vampires and Morgana’s family.

One of the most compelling aspects of this volume is Morgana herself. Her insecurities and desire for self-improvement make her highly relatable. She stands out for her kindness and determination, especially in her interactions with Oz, the enigmatic red-eyed vampire who, despite his short stature, wins hearts with his charisma and tenderness. His character design is an inclusive and refreshing choice, breaking traditional romance stereotypes and adding a touch of realism to relationships.

The artwork is undoubtedly one of the book’s greatest strengths. Each page bursts with creativity, featuring unique character designs that make every individual stand out. The settings, clothing, and expressions create an immersive experience that makes time fly while reading.

Beyond its stunning visuals, the story itself is captivating, combining mystery, an unfolding romance, and a richly magical world. This volume expands the narrative while leaving clues that there’s still much more to uncover.

For those seeking a story that evokes strong emotions, Morgana and Oz, Vol. 2 is a perfect choice. Even if you’re experiencing a reading slump, this graphic novel is the perfect gateway to a spellbinding world where both the storytelling and illustrations shine.

Morgana and Oz is a cozy, fantasy romance adapted from a WebToon. It features a star-crossed lovers theme with a generational feud between a witch's family and a vampire clan. It was exciting to see this story redrawn and adapted into a panel format. The illustrations are whimsical and aesthetically pleasing.

I loved getting to seeing a bit more about both Morgana and Oz’s backstories. I also loved that this volume gave us more information on the Red Vampire Clan, and specifically its leader.

The evolution of Morgana and Oz’s relationship is so good and feels so natural. I love getting to see them be protective of each other.

I know he didn’t have the biggest role in this volume, but I love Morgana’s brother and really hope we get to see more of him.

I cannot wait for Volume 3 to be released!

I enjoyed the first volume of Morgana and Oz and was happy to receive the DRC of volume two. This is not the most beautifully adapted webtoon, but it is so much better than some of the other adaptations.
The story pacing is perfect, the characters are well put together, and it was a quick read. The vibe of the story is so cozy and ethereal that it's hard to get mad at the writing. It's just a vibe, definitely give it a try.

Morgana and Oz by Miyuli is a relatively light, medium- to fast-paced, YA paranormal fantasy graphic novel series about a witch and a vampire who have an unexpected encounter during a very tense meeting between their two respective clans. In this volume, the plot thickens. Morgana continues her quest to lift the spell from Oz that had accidentally turned him into a cat, and is also sworn to help the Red Vampire Clan break the curse placed on them during the unfortunate banquet at the Winterberry Estate. Along the way, new characters are introduced and core memories are unlocked, even as new mysteries arise.

I'd read the first few chapters of this series on Webtoon years ago for a special event, but hadn't gone back to it until now--and I'm so glad I did! I am in love with this series and may peek back at the Webtoon version as I await Volume 3 of the physical book and Season 2 of the digital version. This is a fabulous read, with a solid blend of plot, character development, and quirky humor. As a bonus, the art style is fluid and comfortable--Miyuli presents this story with the skill of an expert illustrator and sequential storyteller. This was a pleasure and a joy to read, 10/10, no notes!

Readers waiting for the next installment may also enjoy: Muted by Miranda Mundt, Lumine by Emma Krogell, The Witch Boy series by Molly Knox Ostertag, Les Normaux by Janine Janssen & S.
