Only in Your Dreams is a highly entertaining, steamy small-town romance that delivers on tropes, chemistry, and emotional healing. If you love big feelings, sizzling tension, and a protective male lead baring his heart, this is a solid pick. That said, if you prefer deeper plot realism or emotional depths anchored in lots of conflict resolution, be aware that the story leans on charm, heat, and romantic fantasy more than granular realism.

Love a good best friend’s sibling trope and throw in second chance? Amazing. The way Zac gave Melody a chance to breathe and show her how she should be treated in a relationship? Swoon. He did everything in his power to be her biggest cheerleader

A great second chance romance while being a twin brother's best friend and years on years of pinning. Reading how Zac and Melody find their way back to each other while Melody also finds her way to herself. Good banter, sweet gestures, and pages of build up.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Second chance, brothers best friend, dual timeline AND dual POV?! when I finished this, I immediately bought a physical copy because I needed this on my shelf. This was one of the best brothers best friend books I have read recently. Although, I really didn't like the brother but was happy with the resolution that happened at the ending.

I wasn't super excited about the premise, but I was sent this book via email request for review. I thought it was cute overall, but not something memorable. Nothing particularly stood out to me.

Such a cute story. I appreciated the easy writing. The spice was spicy enough for what I typically like in a romance novel. I thought the author provided a very well thought out romance story. I definitely recommend!

If you’re looking for a sports romance set in a small town and also second chance brother's best friend. This is it. Also it is spicy so you’ve been warned.

Melody is the one that got away but now she’s back in town after a a break up that left her doubting her self worth.

Zac is the grumpy football coach that will do anything to get her back. He is the sweetest tending to her every need even the ones she’s doesn’t know she has.

Winning her back won’t be easy because she can’t trust her own decisions and Zac is still afraid of loosing his best friend.

I loved the found family aspect of the story as well. Zac is always willing to help others and the way he stands up and helps Noah just melted my heart.

This group of friends was so fun and I can’t wait to read their own love story’s!

Whew, what a ride! This was a fast read and I really enjoyed it! I love small town settings, throw in a second chance romance and the brother's best friend trope, and I'm in! There's a ton of chemistry and Zac is a great book boyfriend! It's a slow-burn, but very spicy too! Definitely worth the read! Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Really enjoyed this one! I'm always a sucker for romance stories and brother's best friend is one of my favorite tropes. The pacing was good, the smut was fantastic, and the overall romance was very sweet. Would recommend.

Melody returns home after 10 years, following a breakup, to put her self and her life back together. Unfortunately going home also means facing her childhood crush and biggest heartache - her brothers best friend, Zac.

This book heavily depends on miscommunication (or the lack of communication) and that isn’t always a hit for me but it worked here. Zac was so sweet and supportive of Melody and their chemistry was HOT. We start out with a wilderness forced proximity setup that was both spicy and funny. Watching them go from enemies to friends to lovers with all their banter and chemistry was .

I loved the friendships in this book, especially Zac’s friendship with Noah. Noah has a rough homelife and finds solace with Zac. It was so sweet how both Zac and Melody treated him like a younger sibling, giving him a safe place to call home. The side characters really added a lot to this book and I’m excited to see where the series goes from here.

I’m usually not a huge fan of second chance romances (yes, I know, I say this all the time 😂), but Only In Your Dreams completely won me over! The pacing was perfect, the banter was delicious, and the emotional pull between the characters had me hooked from page one. I absolutely loved that Zac had been sooo down bad for Melody for years—it made every interaction between them that much sweeter and more satisfying. The chemistry was palpable, the side characters added so much life to the story, and the romance hit all the right beats without ever feeling rushed.

Ellie K. Wilde did such a beautiful job capturing that mix of longing, history, and fresh hope that makes second chances so addictive when they’re done right. I went into this one with zero expectations and ended up absolutely giddy every page.

Thank you to Ellie K. Wilde and NetGalley for the ARC—I’m so glad I got to experience this gem early!

What a cute binge read! The first in the series, this centers around Melanie, who has returned home after being away for the past ten years. That’s until she meets up with her childhood crush and brothers best friend Zac.

Featuring a spicy, small town, second chance sports romance perfect for your next read!

*many thanks to Atria Books and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

I believe I was emailed a widget for this book (which I am super appreciative of so THANK YOU). I thought the cover was super cute so decided to give it a chance! The writing style ended up not being for me and after discussing this one with a few trusted friends who had finished it, I ultimately decided to DNF. Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for giving me the opportunity to be an early reader.
