Total Dreamboat is such a sweet romantic comedy! I am a sucker for any romance novel with dual POV. 2x the yearning, 2x the tension, and 2x the swoon worthy moments. This one was done exceptionally well - not only does Hope’s and Felix’s attraction for one another jump off the page, we also get each of their internal struggles as they reconcile who they were with who they want to be. This story had the perfect balance of sweet, tender moments and comedic mishaps. I loved the cruise ship setting, which also played a role as a clever plot device. Highly recommend for readers looking for their next lighthearted read!
Thank you to NetGalley and Flatiron Books for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

High jinks, humor, and deadpan banter aboard a luxury cruise ship make this an absolutely delightful read.
Hope joins her best friend on a 10-day cruise with the intent of relaxing and rediscovering herself after a harsh breakup. Felix is reluctantly on the cruise with his family as they beg him to relax and forget about work for a few days. Despite neither of them being interested in a relationship, Hope and Felix figure there’ is no harm in indulging in their feelings for the duration of the trip…
This was so fun! I loved the flirty and sarcastic exchanges between Hope and Felix. Felix’s sisters add a lot of charm to the story as well. It is refreshing to read a romance featuring palpable chemistry, character growth, and only one mention of the love interest’s height!
I’ve never wanted to book a cruise until I read this. Kudos to Hope and Felix (and the author) on an amazing go-to karaoke song choice. Highly recommended!
Thank you very much to Flatiron Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read a copy.

First of all, the cover! It's gorgeous and inviting. I haven't been on a cruise in so long, and this book's cover makes me want to get on a ship for vacation! The story is equally fun and comedic. I liked how Doyle crafted the romantic storyline. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Thanks to NetGalley and Flatiron for this eARC!
I loved this, maybe even more than Katelyn Doyle's (Scarlett Peckham's contemporary nom de plume) previous title!
The deal is that Felix and Hope meet on a Caribbean cruise (which they are both on under duress), and this serves as a VERY effective pressure cooker for their relationship. I loved the side characters, especially Hope's influencer bff and Felix's sisters and the ending of this one was truly a dream.
This even kind of made me want to go on a (very fancy) cruise (we are not talking Royal Caribbean here), and just to travel in general.
One thing, man I wish her books had better covers! They are not doing the writing justice. Scarlett Peckham's books have GREAT covers, let's get that designer on these!
