Humpty’s Great Fall is the perfect twist on the classic nursery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty! Humpty’s Great Fall is full of rhyming words and vibrant pictures. This story is a great way to teach about all sorts of nursery rhymes and fun things to do during the fall season. Very very good.

This book was a fun read!

The things that I loved:
-The structure gives “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” vibes. The ever-so-slightly chaotic shift from one thing to the next is endearing.
-The callback to other nursery rhymes throughout the book. As my kids and I read it, we were able to recall those other rhymes, which was a great memory exercise.
-The illustrations are beautiful and there are so many things in the background of each picture that my kids were excited to point out (including some characters from additional nursery rhymes/children’s stories that my kids love!).
-There are some vocabulary words that my kids did not know and we were able to talk about what those words mean.

Overall, my kids and I enjoyed this book!

A twist on the Humpty Dumpty storyline focused on the season "fall" and not the act of falling. This would be a great addition to a fairy tales or fractured fairy tale unit, fall books, and predicting what may happen next. For grades K-3

What a great take on the fun nursery rhyme! My son had so much fun reading this one and absolutely adored the pictures. This is a great book for fall! Highly recommend to all families with young kids!

Humpty's Great Fall by Amy Moore was a charming read, My kids loved that some other beloved nursery rhymes' characters also appeared in the book. The art is also wonderful, a very nice addition for the fall book rotation in your child's library.

I read this to my 4 yo and he really enjoyed it. He caught on quickly to the pattern and loved yelling "fall". The pictures were well done. I would definitely read this again, it was a fun twist on the well known rhyme.

Super adorable book and beautiful illustrations. My son is currently in the nursery rhyme stage and has been singing this for a while. My Youngest LOVED this story and was involved when I read this story before bed. It's in the fall weather and I love how there were activities throughout the book to keep my kiddo entertained.

I will def need to grab this when it gets published this year!

The illustrations are so well done, and I just love this take on the classic nursery rhyme. I can see this one being a very popular book with children. I work in a library, and we would definitely recommend this one to parents of littles.

This is a really cute take on the Humpty Dumpty rhyme. It is Fall and there are lots of things to do. All the while he keeps thinking he forgot something. Through the activities of Fall he gets clues. The illustrations are really pleasing and will delight younger children.

A clever retelling of Humpty Dumpty and not the usual traditional nursery rhyme we’ve come to know and love. I enjoyed this take on Humpty Dumpty and thought the story was entertaining. I liked the addition of other nursery rhymes/characters included within the book. The illustrations were drawn beautifully & I appreciated that the characters had a range of expressions. There was good use of colour and I think that the images would be popular with children. Being a teacher, I would also use this book in my classroom, especially as it’s a fun little play on nursery rhymes and I think that it would pique their interest.

Adorable! Absolutely adorable! The illustrations were done so well. This story of Humpty Dumpty is about all the things he has to do before his fall. It’s very entertaining and short. It’s for all kids learning to read a bit more. I loved how this story had other nursery rhyme characters. It is even funny that every time the nursery rhyme begins, it is interrupted by something important Humpty has to do first.

Kids will absolutely love this especially for fall!

This was super adorable and both myself and my 2.5 yo really liked it, and we especially enjoyed all of the references to other nursery rhymes. The illustrations were fun and interesting for the younger kids since there was a lot going on to talk about- this is most ideal for ages 2-4 I’d say! Very cute though and definitely worth adding to your shelf!

Humpty Dumpty sure did have a great fall! What a cute turn from the original nursery rhyme. Spend some time with Humpty making his way through autumn. I loved the interruptions of the actual fall. Super adorable. Loved the illustration style as well.

Honestly I thought this book was a hit too wordy to be a book a parent would read a child at bedtime.
