i found this book to be so insightful, so sincere, so funny, and such a heartfelt book. I have read all of chelsea handlers books, and this one was not nearly as traditionally funny and typical chelsea handler, but it was just as good. it was so “her”, so quippy, and again, just so insightful. it made me want to meditate and work on my mental health. she talks so candidly about her journey to improve herself and her reactions to things / people, it’s admirable to talk about it so openly. i found myself highlighting so many parts of this one because they resonated with me, which is something i’ve never done before. adored her talking about Whoopsie, Poopsie, and Oopsie. absolutely a must read, especially for women.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for gifting me a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Chelsea has done it again! In my opinion, she is one of the smartest and funniest American talents we've had in a long time, and likely will see in our lifetime at all. Her sharp and dry wit completely separates her from her peers, and that's no different in her latest collection of stories & essays. She is incredibly vulnerable and brash yet tactful at the same time. My personal favorite way to consume her books is via audio as she reads all of her own material, but this ARC was just another dose in a long line of hilarity and honesty from one of my favorite comics. Buckle up for this one, I was laughing so hard I was crying at multiple points throughout the book. Five stars, easy.

Chelsea is entertaining, light hearted, and most of this book is just that.
But there was a lot that I felt could have had better edits, or just cut.
It was an honest dive into her self reflection, which was refreshing, compared to many other memoirs. Some of these stories might be better as an audio book version (as she probably tells it as a girlfriend telling you the latest gossip versus you reading it).
Thank you NetGalley and Random House for my ARC.

I'll Have What She's Having by Chelsea Handler is the collection of entertaining essays that you would expect from the hilarious comedian, though this time around it is a much mellowed Chelsea who offers her unique take on the world and those around her. There is clear evidence of Chelsea's evolution as she looks inward with honesty and gratitude as she approaches her milestone fiftieth birthday. I found this latest offering to be her most vulnerable yet, though Chelsea's outrageous takes are still very much a part of the narrative. This is a touching, humour-filled read that will have you seeing the multi-faceted comedian in a whole new and endearing light.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Random House for an ARC.

This book was hilarious, and had so much insight and life advice. I loved reading about her family, and you could tell it was written with humor in mind. The topic of girlhood and being a woman was covered perfectly and gave me appreciation for everything Chelsea shared about her life in this book. It was easy to read and a fast paced memoir. I would rate it 4 stars.

Really enjoyed this book, been a fan and read previous material written by Chelsea. This did not disappoint, it made me laugh out loud.

I think this could be called The Evolution of Chelsea. I've been a fan since "My Horizontal Life" and it's great to see the growth and change, while not losing her edge. I especially enjoyed her insights and honesty in regards to relationships, I see you Jo Koy. A perfect post holiday read.

This is the Chelsea Handler that people know and love. While people have different political views, that was all she focused on for a few years. The comedy of her early days were gone, replaced by political commentary. This book was funny yet poignant at the same time. You can’t expect change if you’re not willing to change yourself. She continues to be generous with her time, money, energy on those important to her. I look forward to more of Chelsea.

I have been a long time Chelsea Handler fan. Her show Chelsea Lately would make me cry laughing on my worst days. I have been reading her books since college. This ARC was such a treat!
Chelsea is funny as ever but she is growing and evolving. I loved how this book mixed her hilarious stories along with stories of how she is growing and becoming a better person every day. Also peppered in are tips for the reader’s own growth. In particularly, as a childless lady, I loved her story of how she has built meaningful relationships with other’s children. I loved this as I have loved all of Chelsea’s books!
Thanks so much to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

4 stars- Truth be told, I've never read any of Chelsea Handler's books before. I grew up watching her on tv so seeing this tender softer side in the short stories was a welcome reprieve to the abrasive cunning woman the public sees. Thanks netgalley & the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

I loved this novel. I have read other books of Chelsea’s and can really tell how much she has grown as a woman and a person. I found this book to be super enjoyable and I did not want it to end.

- if you've seen chelsea handler's most recent stand up, you've read this book!
- some new stories but lots that were very familiar
- always worth a good laugh and a really easy read
- i appreciate how you know that it's HER (maybe with some help) writing the book, because you can hear her audio while you're reading
thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

Chelsea has written quite a few books by now, so you never know what new she could have to offer when going into a Chelsea handler book. That said, Chelsea lives a life that’s ripe for storytelling, and each story added a layer to Chelsea that most wouldn’t have expected

I’ll Have What She’s Having - another Chelsea hit! Chelsea dives right in with some funny stories, and the next thing you know, you’re getting a life lesson from Chelsea that you never knew you needed. I’ve highlighted SO MANY things in this book, to come back, reflect, and journal on later. Chelsea lets you into a window of her life, we laugh with her, we love with her, and we learn with her, all within the covers of this book. Chelsea’s best work yet. She stays true to herself, injecting humor everywhere, while sharing her growth journey with us. Seriously inspiring.

This is a must read for Chelsea fans! I loved it!! There were lots of laughs, but more importantly, this book has lots of heart.

I loved reading this and devoured it in only two days. Handler narrates her experiences with humor, introspection, and anecdotes that feel deeply personal yet universal. In some ways, this felt like the self-help book you didn't realize you needed.

Excuse me while I wipe away these tears after finishing this book. Gosh, the transformation Chelsea Handler has gone through over the years is truly seen and experienced in this book. I'll Have What She's Having is a lesson in growth and maturity and being open to the world, to change, and to others. Seeing Chelsea's gratitude entries and just learning all of the ways she has "leveled up" her mindset is truly inspiring. I laughed out loud so many times in this book and also shed many tears. I loved hearing about her family dynamics, relationship endeavors, and all of the children she has "fathered" and "adopted" along the way. I devoured this book in two days and would highly recommend it. Thanks to NetGalley and Random House for this ARC.

I’LL HAVE WHAT SHES HAVING (I don’t rate memoirs). I really liked this one! As someone named Chelsea, who lives in New Jersey and loves a good joke, I found this such book so balanced. A balance of comedy that Chelsea Handler is known for, and a balance of lessons, growth, humility and love. In a series of essays, Chelsea’s new stories will keep you turning the pages for more. I really felt her vulnerability in this novel. A great quick read, that will leave you laughing and inspired. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

This is probably one of my fave Handler books. This memoir covers a time where Handler suddenly finds a break in her confidence and works to heal it. We see her lean into her gift of being there for people and showing up and how embracing it deepened her personal relationships. She also stands up for herself and sets boundaries with others creating a more fulfilling life… all while making you laugh your ass off.

Wow I loved this. I’ve been a fan of Chelsea Handler’s for a while now (did a deep dive on Netflix during a bout of insomnia) so I was keeping my fingers crossed for this ARC. Known for her hatred of men and her crass attitude, she is SO MUCH MORE. This book not only offers laugh out loud stories but she also gives advice and wisdom as a result of years of therapy, meditation, and introspection. I loved reading about how she gives so much of herself to other people, does it on purpose, and believes in this ideal to her core. I feel like we’ve kind of gotten into an era of selfishness with needing alone time and looking out for yourself first (I’m guilty of this a lot). She’s done the hard work of sitting with herself in times of grief and heartbreak and I can’t wait to get a physical copy so I can memorize all of her sage advice.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
