This book is chaotic, confusing, and draining—but intentionally so, I believe. The writing style mirrors the disorientation of its young, multinational characters, all lost in a land of madness. While it wasn’t entirely for me, I can’t imagine it being written any other way. A challenging but intriguing read.

This is an extremely atmospheric book. It is really creepy and I had to stop reading once it got dark outside on more than one occasion. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book

I could not put this book down! It is very well written and the horror elements are nicely done. I would to read more from Neuman. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the chance to read this book.
