Interests have changed - no longer going to review this book as its bo my cup of tea any longer - sorry

I didn't enjoy Lovely Wild as much as I thought I would. Normally I really like author Megan Hart's books, now there have been a couple that were just meh for me, but this one just wasn't there at all. I had to make myself finish this one and that just isn't the type of reading I want to do. Not saying I won't pick up her books in the future because a lot of them I've loved!

This is a different book for me. It's not romance even though I thought it would be. When Mary met Ryan for the first, I had hopes it would turn into some sort of forbidden romance and he'd be his prince in shining armor, but the plot of the story changed quickly and turned into full suspense/psychological drama. Lovely Wild is a book with so many secrets, and to be honest, I kept turning pages because of them.
All in all, I liked the story. It was entertaining and stressing and had me anxiously waiting for the end, which was unexpected and perfect for the story.

This was the sort of dark story I have come to expect from Megan Hart, but it was a good one! I liked the main character, Mari, and wanted things to work out well for her. This one kept me interesting and turning the pages!
