I really enjoyed this story! Visiting with some of my favorites from the earlier books and spending loads of time with Lucille, who holds a place in my heart because she’s the grandma I want to be when I grow up, made this book a keeper. Tanner and Callie’s story is wonderful, but I have to admit that it’s the supporting cast who made this a 5 star read.

I liked this story but it was not my favorite of the Lucky Harbor series. I found myself caring more about all the other relationships, such as Tanner and Troy, Troy and Lucille, Lucille and her squeeze, then I did about Tanner and Callie. I just couldn't relate to Callie or feel any sense of need to have her and Tanner together. In fact, I was kind of annoyed with Callie. She did set the parameters of the "relationship" and I was annoyed by her then being upset because he followed the parameters she set.
After this series ends, I think I am going to step away from these type of series where the books are written in groups of 3, where 3 brothers/sisters/friends then meet and fall in love with 3 friends/co workers/neighbors. I got kind of burnt out on this formula with Susan Mallery's Fools Gold series and stopped midway through that because I wasn't enjoying them anymore but Jill has kept me interested and coming back to Lucky Harbor.

Awesome love story...teenage boyfriend and girlfriend...separates...finds way back to each other with the help of a child....Love books by Ms Jill Shalvis!!

So I read this book quite a while ago and don't remember everything exactly but I do not know I love all of Jill Shalvis' books! So sad to see this series end but I am so excited to see what she will come up with next. I would recommend any of her books!!
