Thank you so much for bringing this back again! I love the colors chosen - they are nice and bright! Will be perfect to track my reading for the year.

This is a fun updated version of the reading journal I reviewed before. The other one was a little more aesthetically but this one had more colors and stuff. I would also recommend this reading journal to any book reviewer.

I love these reading journals and other materials provided by We Are Bookish so much! I'd love to one day see a physical version that could be purchased! That could be super fun (as long as the cover is updated to something more exciting for it *sorry*)

I have been tracking all my reads in a physical journal for a couple of years, but I wanted to give digital a try. This is a fantastic choice to start!
It makes it very easy to stay organised and it gives you plenty of options to customise it. Moreover, it wasn’t complicated at all to use and it even has an easily accessible user guide and some extra stickers that you can download!
I loved the activities section! It had a lot of prompts and also some templates to make your own challenges and such.

I love the new colors even more than the original journal! Such a wonderful gift to Netgalley users to have this planner and all the stickers and challenges that go with it!

I like! Defo get more use out of it if you have a tablet and I don't find the userface all that great on mobile, and even though you can print it out and use it as a physical journal, you do miss out of making use of some of the feature such as putting covers on your book round up of the month (which I love!). The layout is gorge and very efficient. I love that it has monthly tabs, a way to track your netgally ratio/read list, and your standard read list. Everything is very intentional and thoughtful and aids in really adding value to the reading experience. There is honestly just so much to do with this journal and I already can't wait for the 2026 edition!

A very nice reading journal that guides you throughout your reading journey. Keep track of different reading formats (e-books, audiobooks, physical books). Colorful sections to add goals, reviews and favorite quotes. A nice addition to reflect throughout the year.

I love that layout and design of this journal. This is something I definitely wish I found sooner, but I'm glad I have it now and can have a little more fun with keeping track of the books I've read.

Great if you’re wanting to start a book journal, this will give you a taste and make you want to do your own thank you netgalley

I have downloaded both journals, this and the previous one. I really like the colour palate. The journals are longer than I expected, which would make printing them a bit bothersome, but I do appreciate that they can be filled out online.

Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for this wonderful Journal. I have been enjoying it, using it and am so glad I was able to experience such a great way to journal my books and reading.

This is an easy to navigate journal and includes spots to record Important info related to the books read throughout the year. I do find it a bit of pain to transport the star ratings and photos of book covers onto the journal and I also wish that the document itself was editable so you could text on it directly in each section without having to put additional textboxes on it that tend to not be even

This is my second year using the NetGalley/We Are Bookish Reading Journal. I greatly prefer the more intense colors of the Sunset Palette (over the previous year's journal).

There are only two changes I might suggest, if there is ever to be another incarnation:

—the log pages (currently 4 x 3) be switched to a looser 3 x 3 layout. I often have a hard time fitting the title and author (at least) in the space provided.

—the stickers be included in the Reading Journal, as opposed to being a separate file

Thanks again for a lovely, useful tool. I use mine daily.

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.5 stars)

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a beautiful and functional tool for readers looking to deepen their connection with the books they devour. I loved the clean, accessible layout and the thoughtful prompts designed to help readers reflect more intentionally on their reading experiences. It definitely sparked new ideas for how I can evolve my own journaling practices, and for that alone, I found real value in it.

However, while I appreciated its foundation, I couldn't help but wish it offered a little more. I would have loved to see expanded sections for specific genre notes, customizable templates for different reading goals, or even some space for creative elements like mood boards or quote collections. There’s an undeniable charm to the journal, but it left me wanting — as if it brushed the surface of something greater without diving all the way in.

Overall, this journal is a solid starting point for readers who want to get more intentional about documenting their book journeys. If you're looking for inspiration and structure, it's a lovely companion — just know it might not fully satisfy those of us who dream a little wilder when it comes to capturing our literary adventures.
