Absolutely loved this storyline!! Very cleverly done, with lots of twists splintering off of the original storyline! Loved that final chapter!!! Bravo!!

This wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, and I’m not entirely sure I’d call this a psychological thriller.. it was certainly full of crime, suspense and twists but I felt it borderlines into comedy in some parts and still an enjoyable read.
The story starts with Ella Leonard finding herself jobless and homeless one Monday morning and trying to figure out what has happened. It is told in three parts by Ella and two other characters who have had seemingly unfair situations happen to them and how they deal with and navigate through this by righting the wrongs that have happened to them.
I found this a bit of a slow burner initially but the pace soon picks up a quarter of the way through. I was intrigued by all three women and the story development and found it on the whole an entertaining read.
The shock twist wasn’t a shock to me, as I’d already figured it out but this didn’t bother me as I’d enjoyed the story.
Thank you to One More Chapter and NetGalley who provided me with an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

WOW! The Revenge Plot was absolutely fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is the second book I've read from Jackie Kabler, the first being The Life Sentence, which was also a great read.
The Revenge Plot had everything I love and need in a thriller: revenge, intrigue, suspense, secrets, lies, and betrayal.
I was addicted after the first chapter, I honestly couldn't put it down, and I devoured it in one sitting.
I loved reading it from the three different perspectives: Ella, Harriet, and Nisha.
Ella and Harriet were both interesting, charismatic, smart, and complex.
Nisha was a bit harder to like, as she was very focused on her money.
Revenge and money both can change an otherwise decent person into a nasty and bitter one, which we definitely see in The Revenge Plot.
I was on Team Ella through most of the book, as the reason for the revenge was a bit unreasonable and unhinged. It made for a very entertaining read, though.
The twists and turns were crazy good, and there were quite a few. I especially loved the final twist, which I really didn't see coming at all.
I very highly recommend The Revenge Plot.
5 well deserved stars from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Especially for fans of Liv Constantine, Sarah Pekkanen, Robyn Harding, and Sandie Jones.
Thanks to Netgalley, HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter, and Jackie Kabler for the chance to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A Pschological Thriller that lives up to the genre! Kabler wove a story that had me questioning so many things throughout the book. Was it this? Was it that? Is it her/him? No - must be this person.
[And then, just when I think I feel sympathy for the main character - NOPE - she destroys all her credibility (hide spoiler)]
I've already recommended this to so many people! This is the third book I've read by Kabler and I will continue to pick up her work. She is a master at this genre!
Thank you to the publisher for a review copy via Netgalley. This is my honest review.

This was a fastpaced edge of your seat thriller I just couldn't stop reading I really enjoyed everything about this story

What a tangled web we weave!! This was an amazing story with one disaster after another. .I can't imagine a mind as twisted as that.
Fabulous conclusion.

The story of Ella, Harriet and Nisha who are all out for revenge. Whilst the book started off strangely with Ella turning up to work on a Monday morning and everything having disappeared and like it had never existed to start with, it was slow for about the first 25%, then it kicked up a gear when we met Harriet and another gear when we met Nisha. As each new lead character was introduced the story got a lot more interesting and a lot more enjoyable.

An explosive read, starts with a bang and doesn't let up for a long time. Loved the ending too. One of the most gripping books I've read in a long time.

I thought this was a very entertaining read, built around some truly horrid and selfish characters. I liked that the book built up its layers by adding a character to each part. This gave the story more depth. Some twists were more predictable than others but an engaging read.

Despite its early potential this book become incredibly preposterous.
There were too many attempts at 'twists' and none of the characters were likeable.

I’ve not read a book by Jackie Kabler that I’ve not enjoyed yet… her stories always contain loads of little twists and turns, some you can predict and some that you can’t see coming until they hit you in the face. This book had a good mix of both in it and it kept you hooked all the way through, trying to figure out how everything was going to play out.
I did manage to guess the final twist but not until just before it was revealed, and despite this it wasn’t one that I would have predicted earlier on in the book.
Ella was such a good character and I really felt for her as everything she was being put through seemed so extreme. The ‘punishment’ made you question exactly what it was that she’d done, and who to, in the past to deserve this.
This is told from multiple POV’s which gives you insights into each of the characters, allowing you to form judgements of them quite quickly and see where they are coming from (whether you agree with their reasoning is a different matter!). For me this helped to increase the pace and tension of the book and I think its aids the twists really well too.
Jackie has written another great book here and personally I can’t wait to see what she brings out next as she’s a definite auto-buy author for me!

I am not sure where to start with my review on this, as I have mixed feelings. I loved the writing style and the whole synopsis was just a great idea. However, it somehow got repetitive towards the half way mark, and I found myself losing interest. It was a bit unrealistic also for me. I would read more by this author. This one just didn't keep me on the edge of my seat as I was hoping.

I have previously read and loved this authors work so I was very excited to be approved for this one. I started to read but i found myself struggling so I made the decision to switch to audio, unfortunately I didn’t get on with that either. I think I found the storyline a little too unrealistic. I will continue to pick up this authors work in future though

The Revenge Plot delivers everything a domestic thriller fan could want: tangled motives, unreliable narrators, fast pacing, and blindsiding twists. It’s sharp, unsettling, and expertly structured to make you question everything until the very last page.

I was disappointed in this book. The premise was enticing but such awful characters I'm afraid i DNF it. I have read a couple of books by Jackie but this one was a disappointment.
Thankis to Netgalley and the publishers for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love Jackie kabler’s books! They are never predictable or slow. This one was fab! Great storyline and plot twists

This fell a bit flat for me. I normally enjoy and devour books by this author but I found it hard to get into this one and ended up giving up.
There are parts that I enjoyed but it just didn’t grip me.
Please don’t be put off by my review as not all books suit everyone l, that’s why there’s a great range out there.

I loved this twisty suspense book! Ella was a great main character, flawed and yet loveable. I enjoyed this.

Young female friendships can be complicated—little misunderstandings can snowball into something much bigger, especially as people grow older. And sometimes? That fallout can turn downright dangerous.
I’ll be honest—this one almost became a DNF for me. The first half was tough to push through. I found Ella’s choices frustrating, and Harriet’s actions stretched believability past my limit. I’m all for a bit of fiction-fueled drama, but some of the “how” bordered on laughable.
That said, I’m giving this three stars because while it didn’t work for me personally, I do think there’s a specific audience that will enjoy it more than I did.
Thank you to NetGalley, Jackie Kabler, and HarperCollins UK – One More Chapter for the chance to read and review.

Her best book yet!
I’m already a huge fan of Jackie Kabler and she is pretty much an auto read for me, however this book blew me away! A mind blowing plot that just kept adding twist after twist throughout which was perfectly executed and thought through.
An absolute must read for fans of Lisa Jewell, C L Taylor, Andrea Mara and other psychological thriller writers!
Honestly I can’t recommend it enough!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for my advanced copy.
