Oh this preview has me hooked already! I love the writing style and I'm really interested to see where the story goes. Definitely going to read the rest of this

I preordered this way ahead of time and was excited to see this as read now…but don’t realize it was just a preview (my own fault…it was marked clearly). The preview is promising, and I can’t wait to finish it.

This preview was spot on what I was looking for so cant wait to get my hands on the full book. This is going to be one epic story.

First, the cover of this book is so pretty! I love it. Secondly, that first line is so good!
This preview was really good at sucking you in. I love Olivia. I think she will be a fun character overall. I’m curious about Jadan. What is his deal? He’s seems nice though. I like him. And then our main character. I love her feistiness. I want to know who and/or what she is so bad! Why was she dropped here? Why doesn’t she have memories? What is her connection to Kiavara? And who is the mysterious town lady who talked in her head? Also there’s a dog that I just know our main character will win over at some point.
I’m excited to read the full book.

An interesting look at a fantasy world. Since the main character has amnesia, this was a very confusing start to the book, but I can tell there will be a lot to learn about Kai and also the world she has found herself in as the book goes on.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with a Preview for this book.
Sadly, this is a no for me. The premise is interesting, our FMC suffers from amnesia and doesn’t know where, when or even what she is, and is directly thrown into trouble in the neighbouring town after being robbed.
The writing style is simply not up my alley, with words often repeating itself and sentence structure being flimsy most of the times. Also, I immodestly disliked the FMC and the MMC which makes it especially hard to concentrate on the story; there seems to be an immediate attraction from this handsome tall guy; while she is dirty and caked up in literal shit and everybody else around her thinks that she is really not pretty? It just didn’t work for me, which is unfortunate considering the unique starting point of the novel which cought my eye in the first place.

Im intrigued ! Thank you Netgalley for this preview. The first few chapters build the world up so wonderfully. Im excited to read more from Rachel, her writing is so refreshing.

I really loved the sneak peak of this book.
I think it has a lot to give and it will be very unique.
It is definitely a buy for me.

I've been going back and forth about this book on whether or not I wanted to read it so when I saw the preview I didn't hesitate to request it and immediately start reading it on my commute into work. I think the first couple pages that are given show a good projection of what the book will be and it has piqued my interest but I don't know if it is enough to make me want to go out and purchase the book to continue reading like other previews on here have in the past. I think the concept is interesting and the characters show potential but not enough in the first 60 pages that I can gives a full review of my predictions. However it was nice to read on my commute which does make me lean towards going out to buy the book or at least getting it from the library to continue reading it. I have heard a lot of good things and just think that it will take more time for me to get invested than the pages I was given.
