Thank you to the publisher for giving me the chance to read an early digital copy of Can't Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan. I have read several of Ryan's books, and they are all SO good. The quote on the front of this one by Abby Jimenez definitely sums up what you can expect from Ryan's writing. Not only do I love the representation of positive, healthy Black love, which I feel like is underrepresented in today's society, but her books are full of other sensitive issues that she handles perfectly. One of the aspects of this one that I related to was caring for an aging parent. There were definitely some things that hit home. The chemsitry between her characters is always amazing, tantalizing, and perfection, and Hendrix and Maverick are no exception. I can't wait for this one to hit shelves in a couple of weeks!

I will never not buy a Kennedy Ryan book. She manages to make spicy books with so emotion it should be a sin.
This third (and final??) installment of the Skyland series held the best for last. Although BILG will always hold a special place in my heart as my first Kennedy Ryan, and a beautiful love story, CGE brought home the gold. Hendrix’ story was emotional and vulnerable with Hendrix being a total badass as well and— the spicy moments are spicing!

Can't Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan is the 3rd book in the Skyland series and another banger! It's an emotionally gripping romance about a woman who literally has no time for...romance! She has her eye on the prize when it comes to her work, but then here comes this guy who just wants to be a part of her life. And he's got it bad for her!
Ryan is such a phenomenal writer, and I fall in love every time I read one of her books. She has a way of grasping your attention from the very first page!
I was so curious about Hendrix from book one and am so happy that we finally got to see her life. She's such a driven person and holding it all together even with the challenges of her mother's health. I adored Maverick. He was so charming and determined to be a part of Hen's life. The story was written so beautifully, and it was emotional. Loved all the female friendships and work relationships. I am a forever fan!

*Insert round of applause* Ms Kennedy does it again! Hendrix had always been my favorite, I loved her spunky and vibrant personality. She’s still those things but we get to see so much more of her. I loved that she was so grounded and whole in who she was. So many times society tries to dictate how women, especially black women, should be. But Hendrix wasn’t hearing none of that, she knew what she did and didn’t want.
In Hendrix’s story we get life updates on Yas and Sol but we also meet some new players. Maverick, Hendrix’s love interest. Skipper, Hendrix’s assistant and Bolt, Maverick’s assistant. And baby those 2?! A S T O R Y is brewing, chile and I’m intrigued!!! And Maverick, oh Maverick. He applied pressure expeditiously and did not let up on Hendrix no matter how messy!
When I say I couldn’t put this book down and was so upset when it ended! I can’t wait for its release and to get my book club reading.

A bittersweet ending to a phenomenal series!
I was so excited to read Hendrix's story and am sad to say goodbye to the Skyland characters.
Now full disclaimer, this had some tropes I'd usually pass on: a touch of forbidden romance and a billionaire love interest. But Kennedy Ryan turned up the heat in this one for Hendrix. I was curious to read about her back story as she was such a great character in the last two installments.
Can't Get Enough follows Hendrix as she is trying to break into the tv production world, while balancing taking care of her aging mother who has Alzheimer's. On her spare time she's running Aspire, a program that helps Black female entrepreneurs. Hendrix does not need a man. Until mogul Maverick enters the picture. He brings some much needed spice to her life. And though he pushes her, I loved that Hendrix stayed true to her character.
I'm not going to lie, I didn't love the mess with Zere and Mav. But what I did love about this book and this entire series are the lady friendships of Skyland and how they remind me of my own chosen sisters. Found fam is always my jam.
This book had less drama than Sol's and Yaz' books, but just enough to keep things interesting. I also loved that Hendrix is an older FMC and could relate to a lot of things happening in her life. She's balancing a career, family and aging parents.
I highly recommend this series and if it ends up being turned into a mini series I would devour it! I'm so sad this series is over but am glad to inhale Kennedy's backlist!
Thanks to Netgalley and Grand Publishing!

Unfortunately this book just was not for me. I could not get invested in Hendrix’s love story, and it felt forced. The pacing was also off, with it feeling like their feelings developed too quickly for my tastes.
Many of the different character dynamics also just didn’t make sense to me, especially the “forbidden” aspect of the romance. The reasons why this was considered forbidden didn’t seem truly forbidden to me.
I also think the “strong, independent” woman aspect was a little overdone, and I didn’t find the love interest to be that interesting or charming. I did enjoy the relationship between Hendrix and her family, and enjoyed those deeper aspects of the book. I just couldn’t get on board with the romance itself.

The Skyland series is a triumph! These women have created a beautiful found family. Each other them have their own journey, their own hardships, but they are a united front. The love and support they give each other is what I hope we all find.
Hendrix has been a pillar of strength in the first two books. She's living her best life. She's confident, capable, and building her own empire. She has goals and knows that children are not one of them. She wants a partner that supports all that she does. Who doesn't hold her back, or assume she will make sacrifices based on her gender. So far...no man had risen to those standards.
When she meets Maverick, she finds a man who has achieved a lot in his professional life. He's raised an amazing daughter. He's just ended a relationship that he never thought would go the distance. He's ready for forever. He's looking for his legacy. When he meets Hendrix he is wowed by her. He sees her light, her humor, her compassion. He's sees her beauty. When they have chemistry, banter, and the shared experience of a family member with Alzheimer's, he can see that she fits him.
He falls so hard, so fast. He's determined. He steps up to be a partner for Hendrix. He never makes her feel like his wants and needs are more important than hers. He never holds his success over her head. He wants great love. He believes he can have that with Hendrix.
Hendrix is at the precipice. She's been offered the opportunity to produce a TV show. Her clients are experiencing huge career growth. Her VC fund is having success and ready for its second round of funding. She doesn't need any distractions. Not even tall, dark, handsome ones who want to sweep her off her feet. She's being pulled forward in her career, and then pulled back to her mother who is dealing with Alzheimer's. While her aunt is living with her, two women in their 70's are not the most self sufficient. There are hard decisions to make with aging family members. Hendrix is try to support them from afar, while in the busiest time of her life.
Maverick is a top tier partner. Hendrix a stellar FMC. I wish I could read this again for the first time already. I cried tears of joy at the end of this book and this series.

A STUNNER of a romance novel! This book is best read after the first two Skyland books, but the love story and the rest of the plot pretty much standalone.
Hendrix and Maverick have off-the-charts chemistry, and not only did I LOVE seeing them get what they wanted and needed in each other, we also got to the nitty-gritty is some serious issues. Kennedy handles everything with such care, from the dementia of Hen’s mother, to the racism and discrimination against both Hen’s fund and Mav’s father and his own ventures. We see Black joy, and Black success, and it’s beautiful.
There were so many quotes I highlighted throughout the book - mostly little quiet moments of love being built between Mav and Hen, but also just gorgeous turns of phrase that she includes. *sigh* I’ll never fully leave Skyland.

Kennedy Ryan is an autobuy author for me! I love her writing and how beautifully she portrays black women being loved on properly! when Hendrix’s story was announced, I was beyond excited. She’s the most relatable of the friend group for me: single, successful, child-free by choice, and navigating the emotional weight of caring for a parent. But unfortunately, I had to DNF this one midway. The pacing was too slow, and I struggled to connect with the direction of the story. I wasn’t a fan of the storyline between Skipper and Bolt, it felt flat and disconnected, and the new side characters didn’t bring the layered friendship and emotional complexity I’ve come to expect from this series. If I had finished, I imagine it would’ve been around 3 stars.

First off, thank you to NetGalley & Forever for the ARC.
Also, I love Kennedy Ryan so much as a person and an author. This review doesn’t change that.
I love the care and the intention always taken to broaden her stories and ensure they’re written with a conversation in mind.
However, I felt this one fell short of the acclaim of the first two in the Skyland series. I loved the message and the awareness being brought to litigation of affirmative action cases. I just felt that it didn’t organically fit into the conflict of Hendrix’s relationship. It was okay as a plot driver but for that to be the “conflict” between her and Mav didn’t jive with me. Mav’s character didn’t ever hint that he would betray his morals in order to buy the team. It felt like a wild assumption on behalf of Hen and out of character.
That being said, there really wasn’t a true conflict that they had to overcome to get to their HEA. Hendrix folds on her anxieties of their relationship pretty early on.
Second, there is a lot of over explaining that happens in this book. I found myself wondering if some of the description and forced back story in certain scenarios was necessary. This is the third in a series that hopefully is being read in order so I’m not sure the rehashing of the other two girls stories was necessary at every turn. Some of the dialogue was corny and felt forced/out of character.
I wanted to love this as much as the previous two but unfortunately I did not but I have so much respect for KR and her work.

I just finished Can’t Get Enough, and I am emotionally wrecked in a good way. I feel seen and understood after reading this book as if Kennedy knew that these were all the things I struggled with. While I loved the previous books in the Skyland series, and they each spoke to me in different ways, Hendrix and I share many commonalities in our lives, so this book resonated with me in a particularly significant way. Many of the things Hendrix struggled with, I still struggle with. I genuinely don't have words to describe how this book affected me. This is my first 5 ⭐️ read of the year, and this is where the bar is set. Good luck to everything else I read trying to do better than this one.

If there's one thing I know about my reading experiences with Kennedy Ryan's books, it's that by the end I'll feel crushed but uplifted. My reading experience of Can't Get Enough was no different. This last book in the Skyland trilogy follows Hendrix, the last of the trio of friends to get her own book. I've loved Hendrix throughout the trilogy and this book just made me love her more.
Like all of Kennedy's books, you get romance but also some hard hitting real life situations. In Can't Get Enough, Hendrix is balancing her very busy career and trying to care for her mother who has Alzheimer's. With the help of her aunt, her mother is still able to live in Hendrix's childhood home. Her father had passed and as an only child, the caregiving for her mother rests on Hendrix's shoulders. Maverick, or Mav, is the perfect match for Hendrix. As someone who is also childless by choice, I loved how Hendrix talked about how society views women like us and how differently we are treated at times. Just because we don't have children doesn't mean we don't love children and/or have love to give.
As with the other three books in this series you can easily read Hendrix's book out of order. If you choose to do that, I still highly recommend reading the other books as they're just as amazing. Kennedy is an auto-buy author for me. As I eagerly await whatever she has in store for us next, I'll be rereading this series and going into her backlist for some amazing Black love.
Thank you to Forever and Netgalley for a copy in exchange for review consideration.

Thank you to NetGalley for the early arc! I can’t believe I got to read one of my most anticipated releases of 2025 early—I am so lucky! If you’re reading this book, that probably means you’ve read the first two that came before it (if not, you probably should), which means you know you’re going to get an inspiring, resilient, and beautifully balanced story centered on a remarkable woman from the iconic Skyland trio (in this case, Hendrix). Kennedy Ryan rounded out this trilogy so well, delivering a captivating finale that was an absolute joy to read. Her extraordinary talent for crafting fictional characters always shines through, creating people so vivid and relatable that I genuinely care for them, often forgetting they're not real. This book is a testament to her ability to weave emotional depth and authenticity into every page!

I devoured the first two books in the Skyland series and was really excited to see what was in store for Hendrix's story. Unfortunately, this one just kind of fell flat for me. I found myself skimming after about 60% but knew I wanted to finish the story to conclude the series. I was happy to see Hendrix get the love she deserves, but didn't feel captivated by this story in the way I was with the first two. Things that I enjoyed: Ryan's relatable writing/banter between friends! Some of the phrases actually made me laugh out loud. The components of the story that touch on dementia and the relatable scenarios that bring awareness to those with a loved one experiencing dementia.

I'm conflicted here.
On one hand, I would read Miss Kennedy Ryan's GROCERY LIST. There is something so special about her writing and how much humanity is reflected in her characters. I love that she doesn't shy away from difficult topics but despite the pain her characters may experience, they always get their HEA. The first two books in this series were some of my all-time favorite romances for that reason.
But on the other hand, the Hendrix we met in CAN'T GET ENOUGH just felt like a different person than the Hendrix we met in the previous two Skyland books. I know we only got the surface version of her since neither of those books were in her POV, but I feel like her besties know her so well that I should have been able to really understand who she is even before getting her first-person point of view. For some reason, there was a disconnect, which threw me off.
I also felt like this book was slightly too long and had a few scenes that felt unnecessary, which I NEVER feel with Kennedy Ryan books. Did I like the story? Of course I did. Would I recommend it? Of course I would. But was I slightly underwhelmed and a little disappointed because of the high bar set by the first two books in this series? Yes, I unfortunately was.
3.75 stars rounded up

This latest from Kennedy Ryan is an absolute masterpiece of a romance. As always, Ryan seamlessly blends the regular trials of everyday life that touch everyone in one way or another, this time Hendrix’s mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s, with a bold romance. The relationship between Maverick and Hendrix is so compelling, and it’s so refreshing to read a romance between ADULTS. The difficulties are not based on toxicity or blatant (avoidable) but rather the difficulties of life - proving true that life is difficult but a great love should not be.
I’ve loved this series from Ryan: how full realized and self sufficient she allows her heroines to be, while at the same time, making space in their lives for great loves. This may be my favorite so far.

Advanced Book Review! Thank you @netgalley & @readforeverpub for sending me this book for review. Opinions are my own.
Can’t Get Enough is the third and final book in Kennedy Ryan’s Skyland series, following the stories, romantic and otherwise, of friends Yasmen, Soledad, and Hendrix. This book focuses on Hendrix, her public relations career, dealing with her mom’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, and a budding romance with billionaire Maverick Bell. While her two best friends are both moms, Hendrix has made it clear that having children is not for her.
I have to be honest, I struggled with this one. I actually put it down for a while and almost didn’t finish, but I wanted to complete the trilogy. Compared to the first two books, this one just didn’t hold my attention the same way. It also felt very explicit – more crude and descriptive than I personally prefer, even compared to the previous books in the series.
I was hoping for more appearances from Soledad and Yasmen, since one of the things I loved about the first books was their strong friendship. They weren’t in this one as much as I expected although Hendrix did have a whole cast of other characters in her life, as one would assume.
I also didn’t love the billionaire trope here. While Maverick was positioned as a supportive partner to Hendrix, it often came across as him telling her she couldn’t succeed without him or his money.
Overall, while I’m glad I finished the series, Can’t Get Enough wasn’t my favourite. If you loved Yasmen and Soledad’s stories, just know this one has a different tone.

so good! my favorite book from the series. i love seeing women being spoiled rotten like they deserve, especially Black women! mav, the man that you are. their dynamic was so full of chemistry and the small "forbidden" element made the tension so much more exciting when they finally broke the ice. so many good elements here from hen's career, her passion for equality and social justice, the caretaking - all done so well!

Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong and this book was the perfect end to this series. I absolutely loved Hendrix and watching her learn to let herself be happy while going through some intense personal struggles was so inspiring. I laughed, I cried, once again Kennedy destroyed me in the best possible way.

Hendrix Barry is a boss babe, determined to accomplish her life long dreams. However, when she meets Maverick Bell, she is instantly drawn to him. She’s faced with two paths, one leading her to an opportunity to accomplish her dreams and the other leading her to the only man who has ever made her feel safe and secured. Faced with hardships of not only having to choose between her dreams and a man she’s also having to take care of her mom who has dementia. Taking care of others has been easy for Hendrix, but will she finally let her guard down and allow others to help her? Give herself a chance to give in to love?

Honestly this is my favorite book out of the whole Skyland series 🥺 The deep connection both Hendrix and Mav had made the story irrevocably more compelling. Normally I’m not a fan of instant love but the way Kennedy was able to magnify the beauty of instant connection to where I felt like I could vividly see Hendrix dancing and feel her radiating energy. If there could be one book that I could visit it would be this one 🥺 and the way the community came together to help her and her Mom. Yas & Sol also came through 👏🏼
