Although that’s far, I’ve been quite a fan of the Skyland series, this is my least favorite in the trio. I find Hendrix to be a strong and compelling main character, she’s interesting, she is funny, and she’s dealing with very real life struggles, taking care of a parent with Alzheimer’s. However, Maverick is a character that I am completely uninterested in. I find him to be quite boring, and I’m just not into the billionaire romance trope. The storyline surrounding his businesses what Hendrix does that work is not interesting to me. I also find that there’s a lot of explanation that goes on in this book as opposed to the plot being driven by dialogue or the characters choices. Overall, this was kind of weak for me.

If I loved this book any less, perhaps I could talk about it more eloquently!! I could not get enough of Hendrix and this book, I absolutely loved it. Hendrix met her match with Maverick and I was so delighted to watch their relationship progress. Maverick is a billboard for “if he wanted to, he would,” and I freaking love him!! But more than that I loved how well he cared for Hendrix. There was a lot of telling but also A LOT of showing, and it was perfect!! She deserves every good thing in a partner and she got it!
The friendship between Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen is such a beautiful thing, I really appreciate how Kennedy Ryan always portrays different kinds of love in her books. It’s not just about the kissing romance, but how love manifests in friendships and families too. These relationships are just as important and Hendrix gets that!!
As someone who is currently experiencing part-time caretaking for a family member with Alzheimer’s, I really felt the care that went into writing these parts of the book. It is such a difficult and specific kind of grief and I felt very understood when reading.
Anyway I loved this book! I love Hendrix! I love Skyland! 5 stars seems terribly inadequate.

Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong in my opinion. Can’t Get Enough is the finally installment in the Skyland Series and I have loved them all. However, Hendrix’s story really hit home for me. She is the independent girl who has been hurt in the past. She wants to handle things on her own so she struggles to let people in. I also really resonated with the fact that she doesn’t want kids. It is such an unpopular opinion for women to feel this way but it was so nice to see such a strong representation of this. Maverick was definitely overbearing at times but I fell in love with him quickly. The Alzheimer’s story line of Hendrix’s mom was absolutely heartbreaking but realistic.

Let me preface this by saying that I am a huge Kennedy Ryan fan. The Skyland series felt like home to me. The friendships, stories of past love revisited, forbidden loves and sisterhood just felt so visceral and real to me. When I found out that Hendrix would be receiving her own book I was so excited, anticipation was so strong for the story, the background of Hendrix. She to me was always the fun one, the girlfriend that I felt I most connected with. To say that I was disappointed by the book would be a an understatement. I hate that I did not like the storyline, the way Hendrix character was built out bothered me so much. Yes I understand that Kennedy Ryan wanted to write another side of Hendrix, the dutiful daughter who was caring for her mother, but this book made Hendrix a shadow of who she was or appeared to me in the other books. I also loved that Hendrix was a girls girl, in this book I didn’t feel that way. Without going into too much detail for those who didn’t read the book I don’t like how her relationship with Maverick started. As a woman who has been on the receiving end of a one sided break up it hurt my heart that Hendrix didn’t handle her business partners heart more tenderly. Also, Maverick just seemed to love bomb Hendrix and the sex scenes were a bit much not in a smutty way but in a Hendrix deserved better way for their first time. The book felt very heavy the entire time with very little levity between the pages. I wanted to love it but it fell flat for me.
Thank you to foreverpub for the advanced read of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Kennedy Ryan masterfully blends a compelling love story with real-life challenges that can make us hesitant to embrace new love. In Can’t Get Enough, she doesn’t just deliver romance—she offers an emotional journey that explores the complexities of trust and vulnerability.
Hendrix, a character we’ve adored since Before I Let Go, is shown in an entirely new light. In this story, we witness her as a daughter grappling with her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis while living miles away, a powerful reminder of the struggles many face in caring for aging parents. We also see Hendrix as an ambitious woman navigating career setbacks—some predictable, others completely unexpected—all while striving for more. Beneath her vibrant, fun-loving exterior, Hendrix is a woman guarding her heart, determined not to lose herself in a relationship or diminish her dreams for anyone.
Then there’s Maverick who’s exactly what Hendrix needs—someone who’s clear about what he wants and confident in who he is. He doesn’t push her to change or make sacrifices that aren’t right for her. Instead, he supports her and respects her, making their relationship feel both real and something to aspire to. Together, they prove that love isn’t about changing each other but about lifting each other up and growing together.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much. It did start a bit slow, for me and the “friend” loyalty Hendrix had for Zere bothered me. The spice was chef’s kiss (probably the spiciest of the 3 books) and I loved the callback to some characters from the Hoop Series!

Kennedy Ryan is a master. She’s a master at words and emotions and actions that back up the heart of these stories. No one does women better. The relationships they have with themselves and the relationships they have with their surrounding people. It’s a master class in humanity and a master class into love and fulfilling relationships in life. I’ve read every word she’s published and I’m a better human and more understanding woman because of her ability to craft stories that are significant in time.

I have been waiting for the final book in the Skyland series and Can't Get Enough was exactly what I was hoping for! Kennedy Ryan just has a way with storytelling.
Hendrix is a smart, driven, self-made, independent woman. She's very successful and loves as hard as she works. Maverick is a billionaire businessman who is always after the next big deal. Hendrix and Maverick meet and their connection is almost immediate. Will they be able to make something work between them when there are many obstacles that could keep them apart?
There were so many important topics, including women's rights, equality and alzheimer's, among others, that were covered in this book and Kennedy Ryan handles each of them gracefully as she always does. I felt all the emotions while reading. I laughed, I cried, and I swooned. I feel privileged to be able to read Kennedy Ryan books.
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review**

Hendrix is a single and childless by choice badass and best friend to Yasmen and Soledad (from the first two books in the series). She has an amazing career and works hard to get her clients the best deals and opportunities. One of her client has recently won a modeling competition and the shows host (Zere) and Hendrix are trying to get her a show of her own. However, Hendrix and Zere hit a problem when Maverick, billionaire and Zere's ex boyfriend, pursues Hendrix. During this, Hendrix is also helping to care for mom who was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's and lives in Charlotte (while Hendrix is outside Atlanta).
I have really, really enjoyed this series. While this book wasn't my favorite of the series, all 3 books are great reads. I REALLY loved how Kennedy Ryan had a series cross-over with Hoops and we had August West and Kenan Ross make appearances! I loved the worlds colliding!

4.5 stars!
I can always count on Kennedy Ryan to pack such an emotional punch in a story. This was no exception.
I loved the way both adults were in their 40s, the strong independence each of them had outside of each other, and unwavering female friendships throughout the story.
This book shed some more light on caring for a parent or family with Alzheimer’s, which is something I do not have any experience in. This was very insightful to REAL people’s journeys.
The cameos from the previous books AND The Hoops books was such a delight!
Lastly, it was so nice to have representation of ALL sorts of motherhood and NOT wanting children as well. I feel like Kennedy is leading the way with this representation in romance books.
Solid 4.5 stars. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC 🩷

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever, and Grand Central Publishing for this advanced copy! You can pick up Can't Get Enough on May 13, 2025.
Kennedy Ryan once again weaves a gorgeous tale of self-discovery, love, and hardship. Hendrix was a standout character even in Yasmen and Soledad's books, but witnessing her journey in Can't Get Enough made me love her even more.
Hendrix's no-nonsense attitude and unwavering ambition is refreshing in a world where women are expected to sacrifice so much for men. But she never surrenders her convictions and dreams for others... except when Maverick Bell enters the picture.
Maverick might be my favorite male lead of Ryan's to date. Equal parts confident and vulnerable, Mav SHOWS his love for Hendrix in numerous ways, using his actions as much as his words to prove that they should take a chance on each other. Though this book heavily focuses on Hendrix's journey and her mother's declining health, I found this to be the most romantic or romance-forward of the three books. Mav had me swooning as much as Hendrix, and the forbidden aspect of their love was absolutely delicious.
Did I cry during all the heartbreaking moments with Hendrix's mom? Absolutely. Watching your loved one go through Alzheimer's or a similar disease is devastating, but Hendrix showed once again how resilience and strength can buoy you during those times. And Mav showed Hendrix that it's okay to need a shoulder to cry on when you don't want to feel tough or strong anymore.
All in all, this is a top tier book celebrating Black women in power, loving adult (40+) relationships, and the incredible friendships that fuel our lives.

Let’s pour one out for the Skyland series! I can’t believe this is the last book, but I think it wrapped everything up nicely.
Hendrix barry is me, and I am her (except I don’t own a business or have a billionaire boyfriend lol). But really, I saw myself a lot in Hendrix, in the way people spoke with her about being successful, but in her early 40s, single, no kids (by choice). And even if it’s the path you choose, I think there’s a bit of loneliness to it, and I think that was captured really well here. Then you do meet someone, who is kind and all about you, but you've been so fiercely independent, there’s a bit of a fundamental change that has to happen and I think that was also represented well. I just loved it and it all resonated with me. Then there is the taking care of an aging parent, sheeesh. Towards the end of the book, I was getting my hair done, and just tearing up under the dryer lol. Everything about this book was just written so well, handled with care, and so black. I loved it.
I can’t wait to see what Kennedy writes next, and I can’t wait to see this become a show :)

The spotlight on Alzheimer’s immediately touched my heart. The relationship that Hendrix has with her mom, aunt, and friends is beautiful. Hendrix is a boss and so successful, she is that girl!!
Although I feel that she met her match and Mav is perfect for her( a boss & true gentleman), I would have liked to see her having more fun, going on dates, etc.. I love some drama but was not a fan of how it played out.
I feel that Kennedy spent a lot of time on the side characters and I enjoyed some parts but not enough. The plot seemed very slow and missed the mark a little bit.
Overall, I was happy with how Kennedy was able to really show the struggles of dealing with a family member with Alzheimer's/Dementia. I liked that she was able to show that you can find love with the right person who will also be willing to be your support system when it matters the most! Romance is in her stories but not always the focal point and I understand that now!
“I’ve always known there is power in making your own way, but maybe when you find the right person, there is joy in sharing it.”

Illuminating. Compelling. Profound
With every book Ryan's voice gains more strength, more power and echoing volume. We need more of these yesterday, today, tomorow . When all of this will be over, kennedy's voice will resonate in our minds through her words.
"Hear. Listen. Pay attention"
This is a story of women's drives and ambitions, yet entrenched in ancient wisdoms and cherished beliefs. Ryan excels at writing difficult and inconvenient stories. Not skimming the surface or swimming in the shallows, she dives head first into the deep ends of human psychology, particularly women and POC. If we feel somewhat guilty or embarrassed at any page, her work is accomplished.
I believe there not enough stars in the world for the phenomenon that is Kennedy Ryan.
A comprehensive essay into everyday insecurities faced by women and men of colour it summarizes years of social psychology studies into the imbalance rampant in our world.
"We’re both bold, presenting a tough exterior to the world, but it’s what’s soft and secret that keeps bringing us together."
Her books, her stories deserve all but she herself, her personality, bravery, her courage that makes her pen these immortal stories....she deserves all the GALAXIES in this universe.
Soul-melting stories that make you sit up and pay notice, yet soul lies in heart stirring passion. A trademark framework of Ryan earning her accolades awards, reader's love and peers' respect, which I've witnessed first hand.
"My stories are here to entertain, but they are also here to engage, to provoke and encourage. We are having a conversation, you and I, when you read my books. "
Her stories highlight the struggles of people of colour, trying to justify their success and the monumental struggles they went through to achieve it. Which in itself is a huge problem in current political climate and society. Systemic inequities, prejudices against people of colour make her angry enough to spotlight them by weaving current affairs as the backdrop in the books.
But it's not just exclusive to race, she highlights every woman's call to be treated fairly & equally, everywhere.
Be it Domestic abuse in Sports world, oil pipelines and barons' dangerous agendas, black women treated unfairly in Hollywood or businesses, she has always been an advocate for Diversity, Equality & Inclusion I've watched her fight her own battles in indie world, and I must applaud her relentless crusade with her mighty pen.
“We are not magic,” she says.
“We are resilient. It’s not a wand. It’s work. We work harder and shine brighter to survive. Excellence for us has been a matter of necessity.
In this book, Soledad & Yasmin's third musketeer, Hendrix Barry is showcased in all her steely glory. Not the one to back down from any fight, she's persistent, determined, loyal, gracious & principled. Her sorted soul is clear on what and how she wants. A dedicated girlfriend, a generous community participant and confident enterpreneur. She's now my top heroine by Ryan.
Her match made in heaven, Maverick Bell is almost like a mirror counterpart. Having fought injustices done to him and his father, Mav matches all the traits in Hen. His support while she battles, holding her when she's tired and soothing her is what true alphas are made of, an Mav is top notch alpha
“You said being whole means acknowledging all our parts. And that there were parts of me that wanted to be held, want to be needed and loved.”
She pauses and searches my face. “I know there’s a part of you that wants to be a successful producer, to fulfill those ambitions, but is it at the cost of the other parts? The parts that might want something else? That might want someone? Will you have to sacrifice those other parts for this one?”
Their chemistry sets the pages on fire, but it's their soul-deep connection that is more satisfying to watch as all the pieces click together perfectly.
There's obviously the sisterhood and friendship like a spirit bolstering cheer squad, but the amazing community support took me by surprise. neighbourhood and churches being there for each other, running meal trains, baby sitters, minders and keepers, brought tears to my eyes.
No person left behind seems to be the motto of this community network.
I'm humbled and enriched having read these words and proud, sooo proud to see my friend being worshipped like a queen she is. (I hope she's my friend 😁)
limitless stars for Black Girl Magic

Kennedy Ryan writes a book...I will read it and savor very last drop.
Can't Get Enough is the third and final book in the Skyland series and man, did it hit different than the previous two. All of them good. All of them powerful. All of them relevant and just hit the right notes. You can read this one on its own, but trust me, you will want to read them all, so you might as well read them in order so you can understand and fully grasp Hendrix and her two BFFs.
We met Hendrix in the previous two books as the Boss Babe. No kids, by choice. Succeeding at life. Unapologetically herself. She is someone you want to be friends with and just know she would be a good time. But she also is there for her friends and is someone you can count on. In Can't Get Enough we get to see her soft side. We see her vulnerable side. And we see her caretaker side. She has to pivot her "go go go lifestyle" a bit when her mother is diagnosed with Alzheimers. And seeing that, she recognizes parts of her life that may need to change and that she may need to call on her own loved ones to support her in her time of need.
Then there's Maverick. Wooheee! I did not know what we were in for with this man and the way he courted Hendrix. Their relationship is of a forbidden nature. You'll have to read it to know what I mean. But when they first meet, it's electric. Their passion for life and commonalties really connect them, even when it shouldn't. But you could feel that connection and you couldn't deny it. I don't always like an insta sort of lust, but they had it and it was just perfection. Plus, to see them fight it because of something that makes it "forbidden"? Just *chef's kiss*. He was a man that knew what he wanted and he was going to make sure Hendrix knew it and he would SHOW UP. He is the epitome of If he wanted to, he would.
"You know it's real, Hendrix, and if you think anything you've said has changed my mind about us, I'm sorry to disappoint you.....Because I'm just getting started."
I intended to write this review right after reading it. But you know when you need to sit with a book and let it melt into you? That was this one for me. So many aspects of the story hit way too close to home and burrowed itself deep into my soul. That's the power of Ryan's writing. She doesn't just have a story to tell, she has a voice that needs to heard. She has an inane ability to mix a beautiful romantic story with real life and with current relevant topics and she does it with an ease and a passion that is a thing of beauty. I'm already excited to listen to the audiobook because I know this story will be elevated even more so.
With all that said and me singing all the Kennedy Ryan praises, I LOVED that she had so many guest cameos all throughout. If you have read any of Ms Ryan's previous series, you will notice plenty of them showing up. And finally, PLEASE read each and every page. The note from Kennedy at the end? POWERFUL and gives weight to a part of the story that flowed all throughout. And as a reminder to each and every one of us......'Black Americans are not asking for things we have not earned. We are expecting a stake in something we helped build.' This woman can write and her gift is to open eyes and make you see things a little differently while also giving us a story of love.
If you've read the previous books, this is a no brainer that you must read this one. And if you haven't read Kennedy Ryan yet? What are you waiting for?

Kennedy Ryan delivers a stunning finale to the Skyland Series with Can't Get Enough—truly saving the best for last. Hendrix’s journey was incredibly relatable; she lived on her own terms while deeply caring for her loved ones, especially her mother. The portrayal of Alzheimer’s was raw and heartbreaking—I was in tears by the first chapter.
Maverick was the billionaire boyfriend of my dreams—wealthy yet humble, tender yet respectful. His love for Hendrix was protective without being suffocating. I also appreciated the exploration of more "taboo" themes, adding depth beyond the previous books in the series.
Skipper’s story was another highlight—I’d love a spin-off! I’ll be recommending this book forever and can't wait to share my love for it on TikTok as the release date nears. Kennedy Ryan remains my all-time favorite author.

IMMEDIATELY 5 Star Read! Kennedy Ryan's way of storytelling keeps you enraptured. She displays both the high and lows of real life while navigating self love. I resonated this one as well because we see Hendrix constantly being a pillar of strength for others and learning to love herself, showcase her vulnerability. This was a read that both inspired, and validated me as a Black woman. She will ALWAYS be an instant buy for me!

this one was my favorite in the skyland series. maybe because I relate most with Hendrix.
Things did seem to move a little fast, but I understand that is what happens in these types of stories.
I too would love to be courted by a billionaire

The emotional depth that Kennedy Ryan writes — rich, layered portrayals that tell the story of not only romantic love but of the love of found family. A found sisterhood. I absolutely LOVED Hendrix’s story. This book is the third and final book in the Skyland Series, and although I am sad to say goodbye to Yas, Sol, and Hen, I loved the way Ryan wrapped up their stories.
This book is so much more than just a love story. Not only does it give us a beautiful love, but it gives all readers the insight of the constant battles that marginalized people must fight. That even in a happy ending, there is still work to do. It’s thought-provoking, engaging, and emotionally driven.
Once again, I highlighted multiple pages of this books at a time. Go preorder it!
Endless thanks to Netgalley and Forever for the advanced copy of this book.

The third book in the Skyland series and it had me seated from page one. I love Hendrix and was so excited to really get to know her and read her story. She is dynamic, she is fiery, she is fabulous, and she has the sweetest, biggest heart. And Mav was her equal in every way. He was passionate, caring, understanding, and sexy. Their romance was real and powerful and was so beautifully written by Kennedy Ryan. But, what I love most about Kennedy Ryan's work, and Can't Get Enough is no exception, is her ability to talk about serious issues and make them a part of the love story that is at the heart of the each book.

If you heard someone crying, don’t worry it was just me when I finished this book.
Oh how I’ve missed this series and my favorite Skyland women. From the very beginning, I knew Hendrix’s story was going to make me laugh and cry and feel all kinds of emotions…and I was so right. It felt so nice and almost bittersweet diving back into this series and knowing this was the end.
Hendrix is a bold and independent character that I adore and can relate in ways. It almost felt like a personal attack when she would think about being alone and wanting someone in her life, but not wanting to have to choose over her own success and everything she’s built over the years for someone to enter her life and leave just as quick.
The chemistry and connection between Hendrix and Maverick felt so natural and instant in the way it feels like you’ve known someone for years and not just minutes. With them both having and had family members with Alzheimers disease, they had this immediate bond and understanding of each other that grew into a friendship. I absolutely loved that Mav never gave up on Hen no matter how many times she pushed him away. He proved with not only his words, but his actions that he was all in and would do anything to help her.
This one may have taken me a while to get into, but once I got about halfway through, I couldn’t put it down! I think the ‘will they won’t they’ aspect dragged on a little bit and when Hendrix finally agreed, it felt too…easy? But this series will forever have a special place in my heart and I can’t believe it’s over with. I’m always in awe with what Kennedy writes and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my review!
