this one was my favorite in the skyland series. maybe because I relate most with Hendrix.
Things did seem to move a little fast, but I understand that is what happens in these types of stories.
I too would love to be courted by a billionaire

The emotional depth that Kennedy Ryan writes — rich, layered portrayals that tell the story of not only romantic love but of the love of found family. A found sisterhood. I absolutely LOVED Hendrix’s story. This book is the third and final book in the Skyland Series, and although I am sad to say goodbye to Yas, Sol, and Hen, I loved the way Ryan wrapped up their stories.

This book is so much more than just a love story. Not only does it give us a beautiful love, but it gives all readers the insight of the constant battles that marginalized people must fight. That even in a happy ending, there is still work to do. It’s thought-provoking, engaging, and emotionally driven.

Once again, I highlighted multiple pages of this books at a time. Go preorder it!

Endless thanks to Netgalley and Forever for the advanced copy of this book.

The third book in the Skyland series and it had me seated from page one. I love Hendrix and was so excited to really get to know her and read her story. She is dynamic, she is fiery, she is fabulous, and she has the sweetest, biggest heart. And Mav was her equal in every way. He was passionate, caring, understanding, and sexy. Their romance was real and powerful and was so beautifully written by Kennedy Ryan. But, what I love most about Kennedy Ryan's work, and Can't Get Enough is no exception, is her ability to talk about serious issues and make them a part of the love story that is at the heart of the each book.

If you heard someone crying, don’t worry it was just me when I finished this book.

Oh how I’ve missed this series and my favorite Skyland women. From the very beginning, I knew Hendrix’s story was going to make me laugh and cry and feel all kinds of emotions…and I was so right. It felt so nice and almost bittersweet diving back into this series and knowing this was the end.

Hendrix is a bold and independent character that I adore and can relate in ways. It almost felt like a personal attack when she would think about being alone and wanting someone in her life, but not wanting to have to choose over her own success and everything she’s built over the years for someone to enter her life and leave just as quick.

The chemistry and connection between Hendrix and Maverick felt so natural and instant in the way it feels like you’ve known someone for years and not just minutes. With them both having and had family members with Alzheimers disease, they had this immediate bond and understanding of each other that grew into a friendship. I absolutely loved that Mav never gave up on Hen no matter how many times she pushed him away. He proved with not only his words, but his actions that he was all in and would do anything to help her.

This one may have taken me a while to get into, but once I got about halfway through, I couldn’t put it down! I think the ‘will they won’t they’ aspect dragged on a little bit and when Hendrix finally agreed, it felt too…easy? But this series will forever have a special place in my heart and I can’t believe it’s over with. I’m always in awe with what Kennedy writes and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my review!

Kennedy Ryan brilliantly blends love, friendship, faith and dealing with Alzheimer’s. I love how she always does her research on touchy topics and bring them to light in her books. I love Hendrix she’s fierce and a powerful strong black woman. I enjoyed the storyline. As always, Kennedy Ryan will write a stellar novel!

I'm so sad this is the last of the Skyland books we're going to get!😭
I loved Hendrix's story and her romance we got to witness. This is the definition of finding your person. It doesn't always happen at the "right time," but it's always meant to be.
If you have read any of Kennedy's other series (I highly suggest you do, if you have not), there are some easter-eggs in here that had me on the floor!
I don't think this hit the same emotional *wrecking ball* that books one and two did, but it was still imbued with so much of Kennedy's magic for storytelling. Another banger from the romance queen!

Kennedy Ryan delivers another breathtaking novel with Can’t Get Enough, the latest in the Skyland series. This time, the spotlight is on Hendrix Barry—a self-made, ambitious, and fiercely independent woman balancing a thriving career, deep friendships, and the emotional weight of caring for her aging mother. Romance isn’t on her agenda—until Maverick Bell, a smooth, sharp-witted tech mogul, steps into her world and refuses to let her push him away.

From their first electric meeting, the chemistry between Hendrix and Maverick is undeniable. Their dynamic is intoxicating—filled with flirty banter, smoldering tension, and the kind of heady passion that makes you feel every lingering glance and touch. Maverick is relentless in his pursuit, but not in the overbearing way of typical billionaire romances. He’s thoughtful, patient, and intent on proving to Hendrix that she deserves love, softness, and someone to carry the weight with her. Their romance isn’t just hot—it’s deeply emotional, built on trust, understanding, and a mutual respect that makes their connection feel real.

Ryan expertly balances passion, friendship, and real-world struggles, weaving themes of Alzheimer’s, self-worth, equity, and the complexities of Black womanhood into a beautifully layered story. Hendrix is a standout heroine—bold, vibrant, and refreshingly independent. She challenges Maverick at every turn, but he meets her there, never backing down from loving her the way she deserves. Their love story is both swoon-worthy and empowering, reminding us that true partnership means embracing both joy and vulnerability.

Beyond the romance, Can’t Get Enough is a love letter to sisterhood and resilience. The emotional depth, from Hendrix’s struggles with caregiving to her evolving self-perception, hits hard. Ryan’s writing remains as timely and socially aware as ever, reflecting the world with authenticity and grace.

While billionaire romances can be tricky, Maverick’s warmth, devotion, and unwavering support make him an exception. If Before I Let Go is your favorite, this one will be right up there. With raw emotion, joy, and unforgettable characters, Can’t Get Enough is a masterclass in contemporary romance and cements Kennedy Ryan’s status as one of the best voices in the genre.

4.5 stars!

I have been completely obsessed with the Skyland ladies, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting Hen’s story from the start— and wow, did it deliver! Hendrix is an absolute powerhouse, always showing up for the people she loves and lifting them higher. Watching her finally take her own place in the spotlight was everything I hoped for and more.

And Maverick Bell? Listen, I firmly believe billionaires should not exist… but I’ve decided to make an exception for this man. Maverick does everything the right way — from the way he uses his wealth to how deeply he loves Hen. The way he adores her, always reminding her that she deserves the same love and care she pours into everyone else, had me swooning. I adored watching Hendrix learn to accept that love while facing some of her toughest battles yet.

Kennedy Ryan never shies away from weaving real-world struggles into her beautiful love stories, and this book is no exception. With themes of resilience, empowerment, and the power of vulnerability, Can't Get Enough is a powerful reminder that even the strongest people deserve softness, support, and love in return.

ipains me to say that it just didn’t hit the way Kennedy Ryan books usually do. Maverick didn’t resonate with me.. i didn’t fall for him, or imagine how Hendrix did.. i just felt blah through the entire story. I didn’t cry, I barely smiled it was just a slow ride when usually her books bring me so much emotion. I’m not sure if it’s because Hendrix has always been a character I couldn’t relate to, or if it truly is just not her best out of the Skyland series but, I can say I am disappointed this was the finale given. I expected more comedy, more banter & I just didn’t get that.

Kennedy has done it again! Oh my goodness. As someone who really resonated with Hendrix in book 1 and 2, I was super excited to read Can’t Get Enough. I love the intention Kennedy puts behind researching topics she wants to write about and she did just that with this book and the topic of Alzheimer’s and care giving for someone with the disease. I’m a sucker for a forbidden romance so I was STANNING her and Maverick’s relationship. My heart was swoooooning for them. One thing that I wish was explored more in her story was her bisexuality. It almost felt like an afterthought or phase and feels like that it shouldn’t have been mentioned at all. Just felt like an unnecessary add on.

I liked that things didn’t end perfectly. She didn’t get to produce the show she wanted with Zere but she got to produce one with her bestfriend which I thought was really sweet.

I also loved the tie in with her long shot series! That was really cute.

Kennedy Ryan’s Can’t Get Enough is a phenomenal read, showcasing her signature ability to craft vivid and immersive storytelling. Hendrix is a character like no other, who shows the genuine, real, and raw struggles of being an uncompromising woman chasing after her dreams.

As a result of this, her romance with Maverick is built on mutual respect and self-assurance, complemented by her deep, supportive friendships with Soledad and Yasmen. Kennedy Ryan delivers a heartfelt portrayal of the significance of family regardless of blood, particularly in Hendrix’s relationship with her mother, adding an intense emotional depth.

This book is a masterpiece—one of Ryan’s most resonant works to date.

I have been waiting for Hendrix' story from the minute I finished the last book of this series. This book swept me off my feet from the first page and kept me on my toes until the last page.

Hendrix and Maverick are incredibly well-written with both of them having compelling backstories that add depth to their connection. I particularly appreciated the themes of trust, self-worth, and the importance of communication in relationships. The chemistry between them was incredible.

This book isn’t just another romance novel; it’s a testament to love’s ability to heal, to challenge, and to grow. If you’re a fan of swoon-worthy romance, complex characters, and an unforgettable journey, *Can't Get Enough* is a must-read.

Kennedy Ryan has once again delivered a stunning, deeply resonant love story—one that feels refreshingly real and brimming with emotional depth. Can’t Get Enough is a rare and necessary romance that celebrates a woman in her 40s who is thriving: professionally accomplished, deeply connected to her chosen family, and unapologetically childfree—without having to justify or defend it. Seeing this kind of representation in romance is a breath of fresh air.

The emotional maturity of these characters is what truly sets this book apart. Their love story unfolds with a tenderness and authenticity that feels earned, and the way they navigate life’s inevitable challenges—especially the heroine’s role as a caregiver for her ailing mother—is both heart-wrenching and beautifully handled. Personally, this aspect hit close to home, having recently lost my own mother after a long illness. But rather than feeling heavy, it made the romance all the more poignant. The hero’s unwavering support through these difficult moments made their transition from friends to lovers feel not just believable but inevitable.

Ryan’s signature storytelling—deeply emotional yet ultimately uplifting—is on full display here. If you love romance that is mature, affirming, and filled with characters you genuinely root for, Can’t Get Enough is a must-read.

I have never related so much to a story! I love the way you can visualize this story taking place as you read. I worried about trauma bonding but the love felt authentic. May we all find our Maverick!

Ahh what a read, what a read! Hendrix is truly that gurl, through and through. I loved reading her pov's, her genuine and raw self. She was truly a breathe of fresh air and her inner dialouge is proud, filled with confidence, hilarious commentary, and vulnerable feelings. I truly adore and love Hendrix's character and really appreciated her raw personality. With that being said Maverick is truly that man as well, Kennedy Ryan can truly write a MAN OKAY!! I loved their interactions and banter, their intense attraction was something that was described so sultry and intense that there was no denying that they wanted each other. Their romance had me giggling and kicking my feet because their connection on certain lived experiences and push and pull was so hot! Maverick truly was a man on a mission and his character made sense and collided so well with Hendrix. I loved how Maverick supported Hendrix and did everything in his power to listen and love her the way she needs to.

I love how Kennedy Ryan continued to nurture and create space for the sisterhood / friendship surrounding Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen. I LOVED their scenes together, oh my goodness, the sense of trust, love and community that they have with one another makes my heart melt! The continuous moments of support, advice and genuine conversations in their scenes together made me smile. As the reader you can see and feel how much they all mean to each other and the lengths they will go to support one another!!

I will also say the way the author intertwines the sense of community within the Black church, as well! The constant support the church surrounding Hendrix's mother and her aunt was astounding and so real and accurate. I loved how Hendrix and her aunt had a serious conversation on faith and how that faith transitions into everyday living. Their connection to faith whether it is for themselves or a lived experience from their parents and family was so important to shed light on. The alzheimer's representation was done so well, each scene regarding Hendrix's mother truly pulled at my heart strings and it really showed the good and bad moments for someone who experiences that disease. Wow!

I will say I wish the ending was a bit more fleshed out, because when the story ended before the Epilogue, I was a bit shocked that there was not more to be read. The ending felt very rushed and a few loose ends were wrapped up fairly quickly, and I wish we got more time with Hendrix and Mav and entire Skyland universe / characters. Which adds to my thought that the story was missing something, not sure what exactly, but there was something missing. The way the story ended had a few unanswered questions concerning a few characters and their fates, Aspire, Hendrix's mother & aunt, and more, and it felt especially a bit disappointing that this is the last book of this series that the ending felt as rushed as it did. Lastly, the drama that was sprinkled into the story was juicy and very entertaining but I wish there was a bit more of a wrap up concerning the drama as well.

Kennedy Ryan is a seriously underrated author in my opinion, and her Skyland series is so fantastic, I want everyone to read it. As an avid romance reader, you’re often met with a lot of stories of twenty-somethings finding their HEAs (happily ever afters) but it still feels a little less common to read stories about people in their thirties or forties, finding their love, which is one of the reasons why I love this series so much.

This third instalment follows Hendrix, a woman in her forties, childless by choice and at the top of her career, who is having to navigate caretaking her mother’s advancing Alzheimers. She meets Mav and well… you’ll just have to read it.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc of this book!

I am not a big romance reader, but Kennedy Ryan has made me learn to appreciate them more. I like that Ryan's Skyland Series merges women's fiction and romance because I don't like excessive spice. I much prefer more drama and plot instead of sexual scenes. After reading Before I Let Go, I was very interested in reading about Soledad and her chance with love. Judah was such a sweet, caring man and was really feeling Soledad. But on a self-love journey, Soledad really struggled to let her guard down and she was about to miss her blessing God put right in front of her. Sometimes, it be like that and we don't see what's right in front of us. Ryan does a good job of showing us love in complex and different ways. All the paths to love do not travel in the same way.

As an aunt to a nephew who is on the spectrum, I found it especially poignant to represent all types of families and the challenges they face in their everyday life. I know what types of situations that my sister deals with so I know both Soledad and Judah endure scrutiny and challenges because their children are different. Many parents can relate to this part of the story. Kudos to Ryan for sure care to this topic.

I am looking forward to reading the third book and see how Hendrix evolves and develops in her own life. Keep up the wonderful stories about Black women and our experiences, Kennedy. We thank you immensely for your craft and loving on us so abundantly.

Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan!

Book releases May 13, 2025

Hendrix is a boss lady that is trying to accomplish dreams. While trying to do that, she meets Mav. They’re attracted to each other since the day they meet and we can feel the attraction. Hendrix knows that she has to possibly choose between accomplishing her dream or the man that checks all the boxes. I loved the way Mav shows up for Hendrix while she is caring for her mom that has Alzheimer 🥺! The spice level between them was strong 🥵. The ending got me 😭🥺!

“The right one won’t ask you to give up your dreams, but will care just as much as you do about them.”

The way Kennedy Ryan can write romance, with real life experiences, and wonderful friendships is top tier. I didn’t what this series to end.

Don’t forget to get your copy May 13! You won’t be disappointed.

Thank you so much @netgalley & @kennedyryan1 my first ARC.

Kennedy Ryan had done it once again. She has written yet another masterpiece. It read this book from start to finish in one day. I’m going to try can keep this as spoiler free as I can.
This story has the perfect blends of love, friendship, spice, faith, self-sabotage, and self-love into one powerful narrative. The way that all the topics are handle in a delicate manner while still giving a well detailed and established story.
One of my favorite things about Kennedy’s books is the confidence and security of her FMC’s. I love a badass FMC. I think what I loved most about Hendrix’s story is that I saw so much of myself in her. Her determination and unwilling ness to settle is so inspiring.
Watching Hendrix learn to deal with her new reality with her mom while learning to be open and vulnerability with Maverick while navigating their chemistry was such compelling story. vulnerability is something that black women feel we are not allowed to be. That we should quietly learn to deal and solve our problem on our own even though some problem takes a village. And this book shows how important it is that we align our self with people who will allow us to be ourselves in all emotions.
This book definitely had me holding back tears a few times from how heartwarming and emotional some of chapters got. My only note would be that I wish we got a little more of Yasmine and Soledad but that just because I missed my girls.
I am so grateful and honored to have a chance to read this book early. This book is a must read for anyone who is not only a fan of Kennedy Ryan but for anyone that needs a reminder that they can do it all and still be deserving of unconditional love.
Thank you Forever and Netgalley for this Advance Readers Copy.

—40-something leads (yes!!!!)

—childfree by choice

—actual adult life issues, like taking care of a parent with Alzheimer's and fighting a system that wants to crush you

—but also delicious romance drama, like "oh no my client is brokenhearted over her ex but he WANTS me and he iiiisssss single...."

Heat Index: 7/10

The Basics:

Hendrix is killing it—business is booming with her clients in the entertainment industry, and while she's struggling to move between coasts as she deals with her mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis, she's got this (really!). She doesn't have the time or inclination for romance, which is why it's rather inconvenient when tech mogul Maverick sets out in hot pursuit... all the more complicated since he recently broke up with a woman Hendrix counts as both a client and a friend.

The Review:

I feel I should make it abundantly clear that this is not a "love triangle" book. I personally wouldn't have minded if it was, but I know a lot of would, and... Look, it's not that. Mav is very clear with Zere, his ex, that it's not working for him and it's not going to work. They're broken up before the book begins—albeit recently.

And one of the reasons they did break up is that Mav, though a loving father to his young adult daughter, doesn't want any more kids. Zere wants kids. Hendrix doesn't. As someone who also doesn't want children, I really appreciated how naturally Kennedy Ryan centered Hendrix's desire to remain childless, while subtly tackling the way in which people (especially men if I'm being real) are called "time wasters" for not budging on something they never wanted and were clear they didn't want. Zere isn't made out to be a horrible person, but she is clearly positioning herself as a victim when the reality is that she chose to spend time trying to change someone who wasn't going to change.

Which brings me to something else I really loved about this book. Mav and Hendrix are in their forties. They are people who have their own lives, their routines, their set systems and expectations. This novel is both about having that set lifestyle disrupted by real love... and also acknowledging that some things aren't going to change. Which causes friction, and requires compromise. Like, this is Kennedy Ryan—it's heady, it's swoony, it's sexy. But it's also quite emotionally realistic.

The realism goes beyond the emotion, too. This book deals heavily with the dismantling of programs put in place in an attempt to level the societal playing field—affirmative action in particular. Hendrix runs a program meant to provide grants to Black women entrepreneurs, and her mission is threatened throughout the novel. And I really appreciated Ryan's choices here regarding resolution. In a time when we need romance novels that give us true love and hope and happiness and also an injection of fight, Can't Get Enough does just that.

But it's also... really nice to see Hendrix valued and chased and thirsted after. She's a delightful heroine, maybe my favorite of the Skyland ladies (though Before I Let Go may remain my favorite installment of the series overall, with this coming in at a strong second place). Her connection with Mav is based on true compatibility. Which doesn't man it's perfect! it does mean, however, that we're seeing two people who truly understand each other getting the love they deserve. Their chemistry jumps off the page, and while you absolutely see that... yeah. This is not the right time in so many ways. How could there be any other time for them? How could they not be together?

Obviously, Hendrix's mother's illness is a big part of this novel, and it's pretty heartbreaking. I don't think it in any way overwhelms the love story, but I honestly appreciated seeing that reality while the person handling it found love. This is a very "life and love continue to happen even in the hardest of times" book, which... is kind of exactly what I think a lot of us need right now.

The Sex:

Kennedy Ryan writes sex scenes that are both super hot and super authentic to the characters. The first scene between Mav and Hendrix is... legitimately one of the best first times I've read a while. Off the charts hot. Like, RIDICULOUSLY hot. And it involves shapewear! He's into it! I'm into him being into it! HOT.

Conclusion:

Another "feel your feelings" book from Kennedy Ryan, with an intense yet realistic love affair based on the very real quandaries that come with having so much happening... and finding something that may be worth the risk. I think this is going to hit home for a lot of women (it definitely did for me), and it's beautifully written.

Thanks to Forever and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
