I was so excited to get the chance to read this last story in the series! I had just read the second book, and I loved Hendrix so much. I knew that her story would be a fun time, but I didn't expect there to be such an intense journey along with it - I loved every second of this story. Hendrix is entering a new phase of life and a new era in her career all at once - her mother is struggling with Alzheimers, putting her in a caretaker role that she has to balance with her career as a talent manager, her new venture as a producer in television, and her role as a leader in the venture capital space at her foundation called Aspire. She meets our MMC (mysterious billionaire Maverick) through her new business partner, a famous model named Zere, at an annual party they are co-hosting one last time at the end of their three-year romantic relationship. Maverick sets his sights on Hendrix soon after, and she has to decide if her personal happiness is worth the cost in her professional life, and vice versa.

Kennedy Ryan has captured my heart with this series. The balance needed for a "forbidden" love story to still feel romantic, have everyone involved be likable let alone lovable, and to have the stakes be high enough while still realistic - she's a master at crafting these stories and I'm always hooked from the very start. There's something so earnest and romantic about how she writes these characters' attraction and desire for each other - it starts physical but goes beyond that initial attraction so quickly that it borders on obsession in the best possible way. The characters are even questioning their own sanity half the time, and I love it.

Maverick and Hendrix are exactly what any and every "billionaire" romance should be - willingness and ability to do literally anything for your partner but respecting their autonomy, their drive and passion, and trusting them to be a grown adult in how they handle conflict and communicate what they want. I loved Maverick's willingness to burn the world down for Hendrix, to personally fund her dreams, but that it only took ONE "no" for him to back down and let her handle her business. This is a common pitfall in this subgenre - the woman demands independence only for the man to swoop in and save her later. I was waiting for that and it never came - instead, Maverick let Hendrix handle the Zere plotline of it all, and later when a bigger issue arose, he handled the part of the issue that impacted him and their community of black entrepreneurs while supporting Hendrix as she handled her own. Whether its a symptom of writing 40+ year old characters or if Kennedy Ryan is just that good, I appreciated the maturity more than I can express. It felt so realistic to a serious relationship and was such a breath of fresh air.

The Alzheimers subplot hit home for me in a lot of ways, and I cried several times. I truly do feel like nothing can bring people together the way a shared struggle can - the depth of the bond created between Maverick and Hendrix, the feeling that no one but Maverick understands what she's going through, etc is priceless and so unique. Being a caretaker is one of the hardest experiences in the world, especially when the person you're taking care of can't always remember you, and doesn't always treat you well. I appreciated the representation of this experience - having had a grandparent that went through this (though not as advanced, she had her moments) I felt so connected to Hendrix's adrift and destabilized feelings while at home. The feeling of dreading going back, but feeling guilt around that dread. All of it was so relatable and I am so glad this story will help shed some light on how not just sad but scary this experience can be for everyone involved.

All said and done this was a 5 star read for me. Truly romantic and with so much depth - I'm so sad to see this series end but I can't wait to see what Kennedy Ryan writes next. Thank you again for the opportunity to read and review!

Wagwan, Georgous! Hello Hendrix, we finally meet properly, and let me tell you—she did NOT come to play! I’ve had Can’t Get Enough pre-ordered since Kennedy Ryan whispered “Hendrix” into existence, and whewww, this lived up to every expectation. If you’ve been keeping up with the Skyland Series, you already know the vibes—Yas & Soledad had their moments, but Hendrix? She’s a whole force of nature. 🌪️✨We got bits & pieces about her but this story fills us all the way up and I couldn’t agree more that she moves between wildly different spaces, never pretending to be anyone but herself. My fave of the trio!

Kennedy Ryan as always, doesn’t just write stories—she crafts experiences with research, depth, and a level of care that makes fiction feel real.The story navigates sensitive topics and real-life challenges with care, all while giving us a deeper look into Hendrix—showcasing the layers of her character in a way that feels both raw and authentic. And to the slow burn haters? Y’all be easy, because this buildup was worth it. Maverick? Another book boyfriend to add to my ever-growing roster (someone check on them, they’re fighting for space at this point 😂).

I LOVED the nods to Yas & Soledad—our girl gang stays undefeated. I loved the reference to them being her platonic soulmates. And if you haven’t read The Hoops Series or The Grip Trilogy yet, fix that before May 13th! You’ll thank me later. I just love when an author ties in or mentions the characters from ther other books they’ve written. It’s like hey old friends! Also, do yourself a favor and watch Top Boy on Netflix before diving in—it just hits different once you know. 😏🔥

The way I have been waiting for Hendrix story and yall it did not disappoint! Hendrix is strong, humble, badass, stunning, and has a heart of fucking goooooold. Her relationship with her mom who is navigating Alzheimers was gut wrenching and I wanted to hug them both so many times. Hendrix will do what she has to help her and she never wavered. When we met Mav…. I mean come on. That man was down bad and I loved how he truly sought her out, gave her space, but made it known. Stunning.

A great final installment to the Skyland trilogy of interconnected novels. Kennedy Ryan continues to excel at bringing big topics - in this case Alzheimer's and racism - to her romances. Hendrix, a strong, intelligent black woman, has big goals and no time for love. Then she meets billionaire Maverick, and everything changes. The characters are compelling and have strong chemistry. This was not my favorite of the trilogy, but it's a strong completion.

Kennedy Ryan, you are one hell of a writer & an even better person. I was granted the immense privilege of reading an e-arc of Hendrix’s story & it lived up to all my expectations and more. Hendrix, the rich auntie, she’s forty, flirty, & fioooooonne all on her own. An independent baddie boss who’s actively working to better the lives of the women she represents, Black women needing funding to start their businesses, & the lives of her friends & family. But who can she fall back on when she’s the one needing to be cared for?

Meet Maverick, phewwwww. Kennedy (please read with exaggerated syllables), you know how to write a man. Almost billionaire mogul & his sight is set on our girl, yes please. Banter & spicy scenes are HOT. We get Hendrix’s humor & no-nonsense personality. We *finally* get to be in her head & I absolutely love when she talks out loud to herself because honestly who doesn’t do that.

But here’s the thing about Kennedy Ryan’s romance — it’s so much more (and she touches on this in her author’s note). She writes about love & joy & passion, healing & forgiveness, but she also writes about real-life experiences. The human experience. And while her girls all get their happily ever afters, she doesn’t shy away from issues that women, specifically Black women, have to deal with everyday. After reading Ryan’s work, I’m left giddy, & sometimes a little steamy, but always encouraged to learn more. I was immediately provoked to research (1) warning signs for Alzheimer’s & prompted to have conversations with my aging grandparents on their plan of care, (2) the SFFA vs University of North Carolina (just down the road from me) case, & (3) the Fearless Fund & their legal battles.

Thank you Kennedy Ryan for writing these stories that uplift & inspire, allow us to be seen, but also for encouraging us to be better & do more. To be informed.

This was my most anticipated read of the year and GOD did it live up to the hype! This was such a wonderful story and being able to see Hendrix who is considered the “cool aunt” or the “single friend” defy all the tropes and ideals people have for those women was wonderful. Im so glad we were able to see MORE of her and we were able to see her GROW. I myself fully identify with Hendrix in the relationship and children aspect so it was nice to just have an author describe my ideas. Also the conversation and situation with Alzheimer’s was so heartbreaking but handled so beautifully. Big lover and the Skyland Series and Kennedy Ryan’s work.

In true Kennedy Ryan fashion, Can’t Get Enough is both steamy and emotional. We first met Hendrix in the first Skyland novel, Before I Let Go, and from her very first appearance Hendrix Berry was a woman I wanted to know. She is strong and resilient and the life of the party. I enjoyed reading her own journey through this novel and the difficulties she had to face and overcome.

That being said, perhaps when I compare Can’t Get Enough to the other two books, Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us—this novels seems to be missing something that I can’t quite place my finger on. The plot didn’t grip me and perhaps the fault was mine because I couldn’t stop comparing it to the way the first two novels made me feel.

Perhaps my main issue is with the romance between Hendrix and Maverick. Again, there was nothing concrete I disagreed with but I didn’t feel their love story. I liked the dynamic of Maverick completely loving and embracing who Hendrix is and yet I was left wanting more from their connection.
I loved the cameos we got of Yasmen and Soledad, I have always said that the friendship and sisterhood presented in Kennedy Ryan’s novels are unmatched.

Although this wasn’t a five star read for me, I still found it enjoyable. I was laughing, I was rooting for Hendrix, and I had a good time. This story still has the heart that Kennedy Ryan’s novels always seem to have and for that I’m grateful. I appreciated the carefulness in which the conversations about Alzheimer’s were addressed. I’m sad that this is the conclusion to the Skyland series, I loved reading about this trio of friends and their journey.

I really enjoyed this book. My grandparents had Alzheimer’s. So I could relate to a lot of things in this book. I will say Kennedy Ryan’s romance books always deal with some pretty serious topics. So you have to be in the right mindset to read them. I will say this book did drag on a bit so I wish it was a bit shorter. But overall it was really good. I do really like this series.

I love Hendrix and Maverick's love story. Hendrix, a strong, intelligent black woman, knows what she wants. We get to see how Hendrix comes to terms with her mother's Alzheimer's and takes care of her with help from her aunt while making a successful business. Then we have Maverick, a successful black man who super rice he would do anything for Hendrix. I love how he treats Hendrix as queen. Then, the spiciness was terrific, and I also liked that it was okay that Hendrix didn't want to have children and could still be family-oriented with her best friends Yasmen and Soledad's children. Lastly, Maverick's ex could kick rocks (LOL). This book had me Glass Case of Emotion. Thank you again. 5/5

Another absolute banger from Kennedy! I’ve been looking forward to Hendrix’s story since Before I Let Go (cannot resist a childfree by choice Queen!) and it did not disappoint. I loved seeing her fierce independence while also realizing it was ok to let someone else in to help sometimes. Maverick was chef’s kiss - Kennedy always writes top tier MMCs - and his pursuit of her was so satisfying. The steak was steaming, but as always, there’s so much substance to a KR book, so the storylines around Hendrix’s business ventures was poignant and very relevant to current times. I’m sad the Skyland series is over but it was a great ride!

CAN'T GET ENOUGH is the final instalment of the Skyland series, focusing on Hendrix's journey as a self-made businesswoman with a thriving career and the challenges of caring for her aging mother with Alzheimer's. There is no time for romance for Hendrix, nor anyone who can keep up with her until she meets tech mogul Maverick Bell.

Kennedy Ryan is one of the very few authors who puts so much care and attention into writing about hard topics. The portrayal of Alzheimer's and the effects it has on a person and their loved ones was real and accurate. I could feel the pain Hendrix and her mom felt through the pages but also the warmth and love in the house shared by them and Aunt G. And as always, the friendship and sisterhood between Yas, Sole and Hen was the star of the show for me. I love the unwavering support they continuously give each other and the safe space they provide to be able to be vulnerable without judgment.

It was so refreshing to read about an FMC who is confident, ambitious, independent and all around unapologetically herself. Kennedy has always excelled in writing strong, confident FMCs, and Hendrix was no different. I love that Hendrix is child-free by choice but makes it known that she doesn't need to follow the traditional ways to be a mother figure.

While I love Maverick Bell and adore how supportive he is of Hendrix and never displays any signs of toxic masculinity, it was hard for me to fully believe the romance between Hendrix and Maverick. At times, their connection felt forced, and it felt like they trauma bonded and hence, their attraction for one another. I wanted more from their romance and can't get over the situation Hendrix was caught in with his ex. With so much going on in her life already, it felt unfair that this needed to be yet another obstacle she had to overcome. Not sure about the storyline between Hen and Mav's assistants, but I wouldn't mind a spin off novel for just them 👀

Regardless, this was still an enjoyable read and one I think heavy romance readers will eat up and love. The spicy scenes were well written and real spicy. I'll continue to read whatever Ms Kennedy Ryan puts out.

First off let me say, I’m a Kennedy Ryan Stan! So it pains me to write this, but this was not what I expected for Hendrix story. While this was a good book, I didn’t love it, and I typically love everything from Kennedy. Hendrix seemed a bit different than the Hendrix we all came to know and love in the prior to books. While I understand she had a lot going on emotionally, it still felt different. The Hendrix we met initially was fun, vibrant, rich auntie vibes. I thought we’d see more of that. I can appreciate that we saw a more vulnerable side of Hendrix and a close up look at her in her career. What I did like- Hendrix is loyal, an amazing friend, kind, giving, generous and so worthy of love.

Her story is a bit heavier than the others. Roughly the first half, is more so focused on her mother/their battle with Alzheimer’s. It’s clear that Kennedy really did her research to give this what it deserved. I think so many people can relate to this. While I have never dealt with it personally, as an NP I’ve seen the struggle families go through.

So let’s tackle her and Mav relationship. I didn’t feel as connected to it, even though I was still rooting for them(hopeless romantic in me). This was a slow burn but once the burn started burning, it felt like it went from 0 to 10! Like there was no “dating”. They went on one public solo outting(to Waffle House) outside of that, all their time together had been in a group setting(bday party, Colorado, etc). Outside of some joint Netflix watching over the phone, it didn’t seem like they really had a chance to get to know eachother. So with that being said, the way Mav fell so hard and was willing to risk EVERYTHING for her, seemed a bit out of place. It felt like more of an insta-love connection. Whereas I prefer a slow build up.

He definitely wasted Zere’s time. 3 years?!? No ring/baby, but then you meet someone else and you’re so ready to drop your convictions for them if that’s what they wanted?? If she wasn’t the one, that’s fine but He should’ve let Zere go a long time ago.

Individually, as an MMC, Mav was great. Rich, banging body, attractive face, giving, boss alpha vibes- everything you could want!

Once again, I enjoyed the friendship between Yas, Sol, and Hen. But didn’t feel they made as much of an appearance in Hen story, as they all did in the others.

Ultimately I was happy to see Hendrix, receive everything she wanted without having to compromise! I loved the epilogue and loved that Hendrix stayed true to herself and her morals. I loved how she stood on her desire to be childless and never let the pressures of society pressure her into wanting a child or feeling like she needed one.

With all that being said, I still have my copy pre ordered and will still be getting the book. I’ll also still recommend it and think it’s worth a read! Especially if you’ve read the first two.

This is my second Kennedy Ryan book and I don't think her books are for me. I can't quite justify why because her writing is good - layered and nuanced - things I love. It's possible that reading this book about caring for an aging parent was negatively affected by the fact I was dealing with the death of a parental figure while reading it. But Ryan always includes these didactic sections that throw me off and an element - in this case Mav's relentless pursuit of Hen when she told him to stop - that gives me the ick.

I love this series. Id definitely recommend all 3 if asked however this was my least favorite. The building up to the relationship felt shallow. Not enough heart. But its just as funny, heartwarming as all KR books. I appreciate knowing there was going to be a happy ending. KR representation of Black love is critical and impactful. She is a brilliant writer.

Kennedy Ryan does it again. Can’t Get Enough is a heart-thumping, slow-burn romance that delivers everything you want—searing chemistry, deep emotional stakes, and a heroine you can’t help but root for. The writing is sensual, the character depth is phenomenal, and the romance? Chef’s kiss. This is the kind of book that makes you believe in grand, sweeping love stories all over again. If you love romances that hit deep and linger long after the last page, this is the one.

Hendrix’s story was not as complicated as her besties, Yasmine and Soledad, but still had an ending just as satisfying. This story explored many themes outside of the romance between Hendrix and Maverick. From the struggles of dealing with grief, elder parent’s health issues, Black women’s struggle in the entrepreneurial world, etc.,..One thing Ms. Ryan will do is educate, as well as entertain! Also, many swoon worthy scenes throughout the book. The spice did not disappoint, either! The only thing I would say is that I, personally, like a little more angst before the conclusion. Another day another Kennedy Ryan book that has blown me away!!! She couldn’t have written a more perfect ending to this series!

The way Kennedy approaches topics in her books and handles them with so much care is just so beautiful! Her stories always resonate and her writing is so captivating! This book being no different as with every book in this series this one was highly anticipated and boy did it exceed my expectations. I admired Hendrix’s character so much just from her fun, boisterous personality and how deeply she cared and loved her people so reading her story but being on the receiving end of it was amazing!!

Maverick Bell! What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!!! He may have just taken the number one spot for my favorite Kennedy Ryan MMC!! I was giggling and kicking my feet and swooning over him while reading! He’s successful, self-assured, so caring and passionate in how he loved Hendrix.

There’s nothing I didn’t love about this book it was emotional with its moments of funny and realness wrapped into one beautiful story that I just couldn’t get enough of!!! I’m so sad this series is over but these characters and stories will stick with me! Such a great book that I loved so much!💜

Hendrix is everything I want to be! She’s a boss. She’s self-assured. She’s confident. She’s a hard worker. She’s loyal. She’s insightful. She’s funny. She’s my new favorite character by Kennedy Ryan.

You know that feeling when you haven’t eaten your favorite door for a while and you finally have it again? Yeah, that’s how I’m feeling after reading a new book by Kennedy Ryan! I feel so happy and fulfilled! Each of her books has a way of just grasping me like a well deserved hug. It pulls on my heartstrings and makes me feel seen and validated all at once!

Hendrix and Maverick’s story was beautiful and so different from other romances! I love how it wasn’t an instant thing but a relationship that slowly flourished. Their communication was great and I really enjoyed the way they meshed so well together!

I envy Hendrix because she knows what she does and doesn’t want out of life. She’s not afraid to let people know her thoughts and she says them with HER WHOLE CHEST. I aspire to have that level of self-assurance and perseverance. While reading this, I kept thinking, “Women don’t owe men shit. Women can have what they want. My body, my choice. Stop clocking my womb.”

Initially, I was hesitant to read this because my maternal grandmother was recently disgnosed with Alzheimer’s. I didn’t know if this would be too triggered for me. And yeah it was at some parts BUT also very necessary. Can’t Get Enough allowed me to sit with my feelings, learn different coping strategies, and realize that life is precious and each moment and person should be cherished!

Kennedy Ryan does it again! This series has been so much fun to read and I’ve loved Hendrix since she was first introduced in Before I Let Go. She is fierce, independent, and successful. I appreciated how she refused to settle for less than what she deserved and how confident she is about her curvy body. Maverick is a Black billionaire and an absolute sweetheart. They meet at a party and find out they have a lot in common.
I enjoyed seeing how their relationship progressed. The chemistry is off the charts and boy are there some steamy scenes. 😮‍💨 Kennedy is such an incredible storyteller and I appreciate how she handled some tough subjects with care and sensitivity. I absolutely loved the strong female friendship in this book and how the three ladies always show up for one another. I’m so sad this series is over but I am working my way through books on her backlist.

Another great book from Kennedy Ryan that balances romance with hard hitting issues like caring for family with Alzheimer’s and the attack on affirmative action in our country today.

The only thing holding this back from an even bigger rating is my deep seated dislike of billionaire romance. It is impossible for me to find a billionaire sexy because that level of love wealth is unethical!!!
