I am so sad that the Skyland series is over but this book was the perfect ending. It honestly felt like a big reunion of many characters that I love from this series and the Hoops series.
We know Hendrix as the rich aunty who is fun and a boss but this book allowed us to see so much more of her. Hendrix is smart, compassionate, confident, dependable, funny, and simply amazing.
I LOVED the love story between her and Maverick. Hendrix truly has it all and Maverick found a way to to build partnership with her in a way that allowed her to continue to shine and live life on her own terms. He never tried to change her or dim her light in any way and I truly loved that for my girl!
The chemistry jumps off the page in this one and the spicy scenes were spicyyyy.
As always, Kennedy is thoughtful and intentional about Hendrix mom's Alzheimer's. Kennedy has a way of educating folks on real life issues in all of her books and this one was no exception. Hendrix had to step in to a caretaker role which is tough in many ways, but she was also so supported by her friends and Maverick.
And lastly, the dedication at the end of the book is something only Kennedy would do and it brought me to tears.
I can't wait to see this series on television because I miss Yas, Sol, and Hen already lol

Can't Get Enough is a delightful, steamy read that balances ambition, romance, and personal growth. Hendrix Barry is living her best life—thriving in her career, surrounded by a great support system, and juggling the challenges of caring for an aging parent. Romance? Not on her radar, especially when it seems like there's no one who can keep up with her. That is, until she meets Maverick Bell, a tech mogul who’s the epitome of charm and confidence. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but Hendrix knows he’s the last person she should be with. As Maverick pursues her with relentless dedication, Hendrix is forced to confront whether she’s willing to let herself have something real for the first time. This book was a fun, fiery ride that kept me hooked, and the dynamic between Hendrix and Maverick was super engaging. Definitely a great choice for anyone who loves a romance with some serious sparks!

“And I don’t know him or even know him enough to trust him, but I do see him. And I feel like he sees me. That’s more than you can ask for most people you know for years. We so rarely truly see people in their hurt. It’s even rarer not to flinch - not to look away from another’s pain.”
Kennedy Ryan had me sobbing…on a plane. Apologies to my seat neighbor.
What I liked:
Hendrix & Maverick are absolutely perfect. The chemistry and tension was off the charts. The friendship that they developed before fully getting together was so beautiful. We love a strong independent woman, and a man who sees that and wants to stand by her and watch her shine.
Hendrix’s relationship with her mom and her Alzheimer’s. So much of it was tough to read and had me sobbing my butt off. I love how Mav helped her and opened up about his experience with the disease.
Soledad and Yasmin. I will love any pieces I get of these three friends. I am in awe of these three characters and their deep love for one another.
What didn’t work for me:
Nothing

This book was absolutely phenomenal! Such beautiful writing. Ms Kennedy Ryan never misses with anything she writes. I love how there is always such care and knowledge in the topics she chooses to discuss in her writing. Alzheimer’s is near and dear to my heart, as my grandfather dealt with his battle with dementia years prior to him passing. The episode’s of confusion that Hendrix’s mother experienced, I can relate to. Those diseases are very heart breaking and trying on the person as well as their families. Maverick, Maverick, Maverick! Such a beautiful and loving man. Now my girl Hendrix deserved all the spoiling and love Maverick gave her. I loved loved how Maverick stood ten toes down on his pursuit in getting Hendrix and once he got her, he didn’t let up. Every woman deserves to be chased, loved, spoiled, adored, and worshiped by their man. I’m so happy Hendrix say that she served to be loved and deserved to have happiness and not just checking off goals. I loved how I was educated in regarding to the ASPIRE fund in the book which is in relation to an actual fund, called the fearless fund in Georgia. It is so disheartening how those in the White House and the Supreme Court are hell bent dismantling so man laws and regulation for people of color and women. We are in a time, in a fight for our lives to resist! I always love how Kennedy adds in these real world issues into her novels. I appreciate everything this author writes because her works always makes me feel heard and seen. Thank you!

I’ve long awaited Hendrix’s story. Kennedy Ryan did not disappoint. She continues to teach life lessons, love and compassion in Skyland Book 3.
I gushed over the love that Hendrix found and cried along with her as she struggled with difficult situations. I was nostalgic of book 1 and 2 as Soledad and Yasmin reappeared and gave Hendrix a helping hand and great advice.
I don’t want to spoil anything but I think this speaks to a lot of ambitious women who have sometimes chosen their career over their heart or anyone out there who has taken care of their parents in tough situations.

Kennedy Ryan has done it again! I couldn’t wait to read Hendrix’s story and it did not disappoint. I appreciate Ryan for tying real life themes into the boook that didn’t feel forced proving we can still read a happy ever after while ignoring the world around us.

Hendrix Barry has built a successful life, balancing her thriving career and caring for her aging mother which leaves little room for romance. But when charming tech mogul Maverick Bell enters her world, she’s forced to question whether love is worth the risk of disrupting her carefully planned future.
Can’t Get Enough is the third book in the Skyland series. While it can be read as a standalone, it’s best enjoyed after reading the first two books to fully understand Hendrix and her friends. Before receiving the ARC, I had already preordered a personalized signed copy from Kennedy Ryan’s local indie, Page158 Books, because I had a strong feeling this would be another 5-star read for me. Considering both Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us were also 5-star reads, it’s no surprise that Kennedy Ryan blew Can’t Get Enough out of the water! I devoured this book over a weekend. Dare I say, this may be my all-time favorite Kennedy Ryan book! Not only was it refreshing to see a 40-year-old woman finding love, but it was also incredibly meaningful to have a female main character who is childless by choice. I adored Hendrix’s fierce confidence, her unwavering support for her loved ones, and most of all, the softness and vulnerability she allowed Maverick to see. There’s a lot to unpack in this story which made it a heavy yet deeply resonating read. I highly recommend reading Kennedy’s author’s note at the beginning as this helped me prepare for some of the book’s heavy and sensitive themes. There were still moments that caught me off guard and had me in tears. Kennedy has an unparalleled ability to build chemistry and intimacy between characters and the slow burn in this book is absolutely worth it. There were so many powerful quotes and emotionally resonant scenes that I felt deep in my soul and moments where I truly felt seen in ways I never had before. I also loved seeing Yasmen and Soledad show up for Hendrix which just further shows how deep their friendship is and is such goals! The new characters, especially Bolt and Skipper, added a fun subplot that I enjoyed. Plus, the surprise cameo appearances from characters in the Hoops and Grip series were a delightful touch. The scenes between Hendrix, her mom, and her Aunt G tugged at my heartstrings. I found myself feeling deeply for Hendrix and I just wanted to reach through the pages to give her a hug. The writing, character development, and storytelling were all chef’s kiss! I also appreciated how Kennedy wrapped up the story in a way where it delivers the satisfying romance readers crave while also acknowledging the complex realities of life. I can already see this being one of my favorite reads of 2025. I highly recommend Can’t Get Enough especially if you loved Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us!

I can’t get enough of Kennedy Ryan ! Another amazing book and did not disappoint one bit ! Captivating from the start. The character development and plot execution was beautifully written

Thank you so so very much for the opportunity to read this highly anticipated book. There is no surprise that this was a 5 star read for me! This entire Skyland series deserves nothing less. There was so much to love that I hardly know where to start. Seeing our favorites from other Novels like Grip, West, and even mention of Ezra was a treat. Having Yasmin, Soldade, and Hendrix together again was a joy, their friendship is refreshing. I mostly appreciate the depth and vulnerability we got with Hendrix. It was inspiring to see stress strong and independent but even those people need support. Hendrix and Mav’s chemistry from the moment they met was undeniable. Mav was the perfect MC for Hendricks. Kennedy as always did a great job with real life issues. You can tell she takes research seriously, there was so much I learned about Alzheimer’s through-out as well.
My only critique is the cover. While beautiful I don’t feel like the women on the cover looks as Hendrix was described.

“This one’s for the girls. Who are fighting through fire, foraging for their ferocity for the first time. For the girls rediscovering their strength that they have buried under servitude”,
As a 41 year old, single woman, this book was not only beautifully written but made me feel seen. I cannot recommend this book more! Maverick and Hendrix were a phenomenal, powerful and compassionate couple that I could have read about forever!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Kennedy Ryan has written a perfect romance about falling in love, while remaining true to themselves. This book covers so many themes beyond just romance, its themes of sisterhood, self-love, and Black Girl Magic (or should i say Black Women Grindin) all throughout.

First of all Zere, girl.. bye.
Second Maverick is ADORABLE as are all the men in the skyland series and Third I LOVE Hendrix’s confidence.
Can’t get enough didn’t suck me in as much as Before I let go and This could be us did but it was still a pretty great read. I’m sad that the plot with Zere wasn’t developed/resolved until the end but I did enjoy it when it was present, even though it made me want to throw my phone.
This one wasn’t as emotional as a read as the other two in the skyland series and I kept waiting for it to hit me deep in the feels so kinda disappointed I didn’t cry? Is that weird ? 😂
But anyway, still a pretty great read that teaches us to have great confidence, be true to yourself and want you want despite societal pressures and that there’s always time to find your special someone

We loveeeeeeee a down bad man! Team Mav 366 days of the year! (That extra one is to cover for leap years). Besides the romance, Kennedy has done an executional job of continuing to flesh out these characters we have come to know and love. Following Hendrix’s story with her mother and aunt’s relationship, her sisterhood, and her personal healing journey was so beautiful to watch. While I do not have any backing for this, I do believe the Alzheimer’s diagnosis was handled with grace and compassion. Reading a fraction of what people have to deal with on a daily was heartbreaking and eye awakening. Everything about this book was beautiful in all facets of the word.

Kennedy Ryan does it again! Her books are powerful world- and character-builders. All of the characters feel so real, and I get invested in their lives right from the beginning. Talking about real world situations in a fictional book isn't easy to do, but it works very well here. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

ARC Review: Can't Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan
Pub Date: May 13
Kennedy Ryan is just an absolute master of romance and emotion - this book is just absolutely incredible. I've given all of the books in this series 5 stars but this one has a particularly special place in my heart. The way Kennedy is able to seamlessly blend romance with really deep and dark topics is unbelievable. Her author's note at the end is absolutely not to be missed.
Much of this book surrounding Hendrix's journey in being a caregiver for her mother who has Alzheimer's. I do definitely recommend reading the trigger warnings and taking care. The experience is raw and real and incredibly realistic. I work in hospice and with many many caregivers and there were times reading this book that took my breath away in how real it was.
The relationship between Hendrix and Maverick is just absolutely delicious - their chemistry literally jumps off the page! Maverick falls first and so hard and his pursuit of Hendrix is so electric. Hendrix is reluctant to enter into a relationship with him for a number of practical reasons but that doesn't deter Maverick. This man literally worships the ground she walks on and will take any scraps she gives him. He is down SO BAD and man is it delicious.
In addition to caregiving, this book also covers systemic racism and racial inequality - topics that feel even more important than ever given the current state of this country. Again I completely recommend reading the author's note. Reading is political and these books need us to help champion them and get them into as many hands as possible.

What I appreciate about Kennedy’s books and I think what draws me to her stories is the confidence and security of her FMC’s. I think deep down we all aspire to know ourselves as deeply as her FMC’s know themselves. I think what I loved most about Hendrix’s story is that I saw so much of myself in her. I know… I’m so much younger than she is! But her unwillingness to settle and to focus on her goals is heavy hitting for me😭 And in all vulnerability I pray God sends me someone who sees me as clearly as Maverick sees Hendrix🥹So often friendships, especially strong female friendships, are pushed to the side in romance books, making them second to the romance plot. No. Not in this one (nor any other Kennedy Ryan book, but I digress). Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmeen are front and center. Supporting each other, loving each other, and being consistent, strong presences in each others’ lives. I read about their friendships and know those are the types of people I want to surround myself with. The romance (and spice!) is 10/10 but this book is so much more than a swoony love story. It’s emotional, and thoughtful, and deep. And then we get to the conflict towards the end and my blood was boiling. I have so much respect for KR including this very timely and very rage-inducing subject in her story. As she says in her author’s note, “No one wonders about weightier issues being broached in literary fiction or crime novels or any other genre. Why must romance remain agnostic on the most urgent issues of the day?”

such a satisfying ending to this series ❤️🩹 i love these girlies with my whole entire heart, and seeing each individual woman not only represent unconditional love within their friendships, but healthy love, respect, and boundaries within their relationships as we grow up 💫

Every book Kennedy Ryan writes just hits in all the best ways - and the Skyland Series is the best example of this.
Although this is the final book in the trilogy, it can stand fully alone. However - this series is such a joy you should read them all - and start at the beginning!
If you’ve read the first two books in the series, you’ll love Hendrix’s story. It’s just as poignant as the other two - it’s a beautiful love story; has a strong female lead character who makes room for love in her life, but is no less without; handles real-life problems (Alzheimer's, Racial inequality, etc.); and is well-written and draws you in from the very beginning!
If you’re reading this review trying to decide if you should pick this up - absolutely you should.

I really, really liked this book, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. When you're reading the most anticipated—or final—installment of a trilogy or series, there’s already a lot of weight that comes with it. For me, we started so strong with Before I Let Go (which is still my favorite), so it was almost inevitable that my ratings for the series would trend downward.
On paper, there was nothing wrong with Hendrix and Maverick. I mean, he’s a Black billionaire—love that—and I really appreciated the exploration of Hendrix’s relationship with her mom, her views on motherhood, and the fresh perspective on parenting. Those elements were handled well.
My biggest issue? Zere—the “other woman”—and the drama that followed. Without spoiling too much, she sets off a chain of events that should have had major consequences, yet by the end, things just… fizzled out. There were unresolved issues that could have seriously impacted Hendrix’s career and put a halt to something Maverick had been working toward the entire book, but the resolution felt rushed, like the story just moved on without properly addressing them. I needed more.

—Thank you to Netgalley and Forever for the eARC copy of this title—
The Skyland Series has been such a special series to read since book 1, and book 3 was no different. Maverick and Hendrix gave me all the love, healing, and comfort in this book. Kennedy’s writing makes every story feel personal and like your listening to a friend’s story. There were so many times while reading, where I wasn’t going through grief or loss but I felt the emotions as if I were. I believe that’s a truly a testament to her pen, and why she remains a must buy author for me. I liked Maverick and his rich self, but the real star was Hendrix for me. She was such an awaited story and I loved seeing her get to have it all and more!! I do wish we got to see a bit more of her in love without questioning it or so career focused but I can’t get enough of the Skyland girlies and hope to see them in future releases.
