Can’t get enough! Maverick *worshipped* Hendrix—her mind, soul, and essence. Giving up Vipers, his dad’s dream, for her? That’s love.

This Hendrix felt different—still tough and independent but also *soft*. I loved how Maverick, towering over her, treated her like a woman. Tall, curvy, dark-skinned women are often masculinized, but Hendrix was *all* woman, and Maverick couldn’t get enough.

Her journey of learning she could love without losing control was so real. She stayed in charge but let herself *feel* Maverick’s love. Their connection? Something different.

Didn’t love the forbidden love setup, but the tension? Chef’s kiss. And the smut? *Lawddd.* Maverick was just 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨.

The hold that Kennedy Ryan has on me with her Skyland series is unparalleled. Ryan is a force with her ability to write complex and powerful female characters and swoon-worthy love stories. Can't Get Enough is a fitting capstone to this captivating trilogy, and Hendrix's story was worth the wait. The only issue now is that this chapter is closed.

Many thanks to the author, the fantastic team at Forever, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me.

Kennedy Ryan is one of the best romance authors out there and she doesn’t disappoint in the final installment of the Skyland series. She expertly tells a beautiful love story while simultaneously touching on deeper issues. I cannot wait for everyone to read this masterpiece. Thank you NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for this ARC.

Kennedy Ryan has gifted us with another masterpiece. As someone who has experienced having a family member with Alzheimer’s this book makes me feel seen. Hendrix is a strong, independent woman who is looking for a partner who matches her and doesn’t make her or them compromise and the story does a beautiful job of fulfilling this. This story is emotional, romantic and steamy and you won’t be able to put it down. Definitely a top 5 book of the year for me!

Thank you so much to Forever and NetGalley for the advance reader copy of Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan! What a gift I was able to obtain a copy of Can’t Get Enough for the brief time it was on Read Now!

Hendrix has a thriving career and is balancing this along with caring for her aging mother. Sparks fly for both Hendrix and tech mogul, Maverick, from their first meeting. However, Hendrix is forming a new business relationship with Maverick’s recent ex, making Maverick off limits. Maverick knows how incredible Hendrix is and continues to pursue her.

Each time I pick up a book by Kennedy Ryan I’m captivated immediately. I have so much admiration for the truth she speaks with her writing and storytelling. What an incredible and beautiful book. I loved Maverick and Hendrix. I loved that we once again get to see the friendship between her, Soledad, and Yasmen. If you love a forbidden romance trope, no one can write this trope like Kennedy Ryan can!

Everyone should get a copy of this book when it releases on May 13, 2025 and be sure to check out the author’s note.

This book (and the whole series) was everything! I did not want this book to end. I’ve been so excited to read Hendrix’s story ever since I read Before I Let Go and I was not disappointed. I cried many times throughout the book. I will definitely miss reading new stories from this series, but I’m excited to re-read this book once it is published.

Kennedy Ryan is one of my favorite authors and also someone who can unfailingly make me cry in 100 words than less - I was just constantly sobbing throughout this book. As someone whose family is unfortunately very familiar with cognitive degenerative illnesses, the story of Hendrix and her mother really hit home. The research Ryan puts into her books as well as the care is so evident - you can really feel the multiple dimensions of the character between her passion about her business to her absolute desire to caretake other people and her confidence in leading a dance at a party. The reason this is four stars and not five is because I didn't love the Zere storyline - it was messier than it needed to be - and Maverick was a little too flat and insta-love-y for someone just getting out of a serious relationship. However, I did love a lot of his lines and his love for her, and I still swooned at a lot of the romantic moments. Kennedy Ryan remains, and will always be, one of my go-to authors.

If I could give Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan more than five stars, I would. Hands down, my favorite in the Skyland series—no question. Maverick Bell? I need him in every way. 😩😭

What draws me to Kennedy’s books time and time again is her ability to craft confident, self-assured FMCs who live life boldly and fiercely and are not apologetic. Hendrix Barry is no exception—she is powerful, ambitious, and unwavering in her goals. And yet, what made her story hit so hard for me was how much I saw myself in her. I may be younger, but her refusal to settle and her commitment to her dreams? That resonated deeply with me and I loved reading about a character like this. I think every woman wants a man who sees her as clearly and completely as Maverick sees Hendrix. This is the ultimate billionaire/friends to lovers romance and it was asbolutely my favorite.🥹

And speaking of Maverick—whew. The way he pursues Hendrix with intention, patience, and passion? Unreal. He is the kind of man who doesn’t just chase; he sees her, values her, worships her. Their chemistry is electric, their love story unforgettable.

Beyond the romance, Kennedy Ryan weaves in powerful themes of family, sacrifice, equity, and resilience. The representation of Black wealth and success in this book was so beautifully done. Can’t Get Enough is a testament to strength, power, and the ability to succeed despite every obstacle.

This book made me cry. More than once. It made me reflect. It made me feel. Kennedy Ryan has a way of writing that honors Black women in all their brilliance, all their layers, all their beauty. She doesn’t just write romance—she writes experiences that leave a mark on your heart. The author’s note was truly so perfect and I will miss this series so much.

Kennedy Ryan, you’ve done it again. A masterpiece. A triumph. A love story for the ages.

Thank you to NetGalley, Kennedy Ryan, and Forever for the eARC of this book.

Kennedy Ryan writes another hit. Can’t Get Enough was the perfect wrap-up to the Skyland Series. This story follows Hendrix story on her journey to love. I appreciated the author highlighting childfree by choice as the main character since many stories are not told from that perspective. The character is dealing with an aging parent and the grief. While an emotional read it gave hope that there can be a happily ever after despite the challenging circumstances in our lives.

This is a 5 star read.

I have a favorite in this series and this one is inching very close to that number one spot. I genuinely enjoyed this book, I love that Kennedy Ryan knows how to write characters I love as well as characters I hate. I also love her ability to even take the unlikable characters and give them their happy ending, Black women deserve that. I will say this is a bit of a slow burn but once the romance comes, it stays. I had to exercise some patience but the outcome was fully worth it. Hendrix might just be my favorite of the group. Oh and the acknowledgements at the book of the book wrecked me!

The Alzheimers representation in this felt very real and accurate. I loved how it was handled and the role it played in the characters' storylines. I think the characters also felt very grounded and I enjoyed their journey to and with each other. Hendrix was such a strong and confident main character who wanted to protect her career and I loved that she had to acknowledge that her personal goals were just as important. I loved Maverick for her. The way he knew exactly what he wanted and was confident in them when she was unsure. The way that he understood her hesitation and worked to earn her trust. So good. I think there was a lot of time spent on their work lives and Mavericks's ex felt like an annoying obstacle which I didn't like that much, but I really think that just came down to personal preference.

This is my month of brilliant writers writing gorgeous prose and making me cry with the sheer power of language, and Kennedy Ryan is the queen of wielding the written word both like a sword and a violin. Her writing is potent poetry and lethal weaponry, all in one. Soothing me with its beauty, empowering me with its wisdom, killing me with its sharpness. I could just write pages about her writing alone (and I’m no English major), but I digress.

This is Hendrix’s book, the strong, confident, independent boss bitch we know and love from her friends’ books. The Hendrix who knows exactly what she wants and knows how to get it deserved a man who could handle the whole package that she is, and Maverick is the perfect man for the job. Powerful, magnetic, and with all the swagger in the world, they’re a match made in heaven. And most importantly, he’s gone for her, and SEES her and loves her for everything she is. The unwavering support of that man for his girl! Girls, if he wanted to, he would. Of course, the billionaire rizz doesn’t hurt either. Even more importantly, that chemistry is fire af. I love a woman who loves sex and a man not afraid of embracing that brazen sexuality.

Hendrix’s child free by choice stance, without for a minute affecting her capacity to love and care for everyone in her circle means everything to me. Few authors have a finger on the pulse of society quite like Ms. Ryan, or the skill for balancing cutting social commentary with Romance. I have never failed to be entertained and called to action and inspired and serenaded by a KR book. One of the hallmarks of this book and series is the bond between the core group of Hendrix, Yasmen, and Soledad, and this book again emphasizes the value of found family and the power of community especially in this day and age. The strength and assurance of Hendrix (and her mom’s) support system had me in literal tears, and lamenting the isolation this western society so often forces upon even the most outgoing of us. Also speaking of their circle, I’m wholly obsessed with Bolt and Skipper and need an update on those two crazy kids stat. Anyway I’m going to continue to marvel on the profundity of every word out of Ms Ryan’s pen (or computer, for the literal minded), and simultaneously wish for my very own Mav (billions optional).

✨BOOK REVIEW✨

Can’t Get Enough by @kennedyryan1

A moment of silence for these covers 🤐😍 y’all I think this might’ve been my favorite in the series and that’s saying A LOT!

Ever since Before I Let Go, and falling in love with this friend group, I’ve been impatiently waiting for Hendrix’s story. Her personality pops off the page and I just couldn’t wait for her to get her moment.

Can’t Get Enough tackled so many important topics between Hendrix’s work life, love life, and home life. Everything was woven together so perfectly - I truly don’t know how KR did it! (Don’t miss the author’s note either!)

The scene in the garden at the end, when Mav was telling Hendrix about talking with her dad — I was BOOHOOing 😭

Read if you’re looking for:
💘 an FMC who is unapologetically herself
🧑‍🧒 a book that gives a real-life picture of caretaking and being there for a loved one that’s dealing with Alzheimer’s
💎 billionaire MMC who falls first
👑 independent women crushing goals
🗣️ social issues

This one is out MAY 13th so if you haven’t read the first two in the Skyland series, here’s your sign to start now! These characters are everything 😩

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thank you so much to @readforeverpub for the chance to be an early reader - all thoughts are my own 🤎

Outstanding story. Wraps romance with friendship, family, illness and inequity.
I couldn't put it down. The writing is stellar.
The characters are wonderful. I loved Hendrix and Maverick together.

I have been looking forward to Hendrix’s book for awhile now, thanks to the glimpses of her I saw in Yasmine and Soledad’s books, and I was not at all disappointed. Can’t Get Enough was unputdownable. Hendrix is a boss, a hardworking woman who takes care of everyone around her, including her mom, who has Alzheimer’s. Maverick is a near-billionaire who prefers to stay out of the spotlight. They have an instant spark but of course it’s complicated. Will Hendrix choose herself for once?
This book was absolutely perfect. It was a perfect balance of heavy, sweet, and spicy. Hendrix and Maverick’s chemistry is everything.

Hendrix is the fun friend but this book gave us a much deeper look into her life. Her struggles with her mothers health were heart wrenching. She is the free friend that has no ties, but Mav was the one to sweep her off her feet and make her swoon. While Mav seemed over the top to me at times with his gestures, Hendrix liked it so I loved it! The Skyland series is amazing and Kenndy Ryan is an amazingly talented author!

**Spoiler-Free Review (Spoiler Section at the bottom) **

Kennedy Ryan’s Can’t Get Enough delivers everything I love about her books—deep emotions, complex characters, and a love story that makes you feel everything. But as always, the romance is the second reason why I love this book. Hendrix, our leading lady, is a force, which we already knew from the previous books. She’s thriving—successful (the epitome of Black girl luxury), surrounded by amazing friends, Soledad and Yasmen, who we know, but we also meet some new friends as well—Chapel, Nelly, Kashawn, and Skipper. (And Mrs. Ryan, if you are looking for suggestions on who to write about next, please do a whole book on Skipper and Bolt's weirdness.) Hendrix is living a life that is Full, with a capital 'F'—but she’s also navigating the tough reality of her mother’s Alzheimer’s. I was nervous about how Kennedy Ryan was going to handle this, but she balanced joy and sorrow so seamlessly. I wasn’t ready for it. Cue the tears.

Now, let’s talk about Maverick. I’ll be honest, at first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about him being so fresh out of a relationship, especially when his ex is someone Hendrix cares about and is doing business with. That’s messy. I think my exact words when Zere was mentioning him were, "Oh please not him." However, in their first interaction together, I immediately got it. By the middle of the book? Whew, I was all in. He pursues Hendrix, and not in a toxic, overbearing, love-bombing way, but in a way that made me melt. This man showed up for her, and after a bit of pursuit, she let herself be loved. And I can't think of a better character deserving of that kind of love. Also, did I mention he is a Billionaire—with a B?

One of my favorite things about this book was how Kennedy Ryan handled Hendrix’s stance on not wanting kids. There’s always this expectation that a woman must have a reason for not wanting them, but as Hendrix says, "People always ask why I don't want kids, like it's not enough to just know you don't." That line hit. And then she expands on it beautifully: "There are women like me who are mothering in our own ways, but never carried a child or been a parent. We're teachers and mentors and social workers and godmothers." Kennedy Ryan didn’t just include this perspective—she honored it. And I love that Hendrix was never made to justify her choice.

And of course, Kennedy Ryan doesn’t just give us romance—she gives us real life. There are big social justice themes here, conversations that feel incredibly relevant, and moments that hit hard. But none of it ever takes away from the love story; it just makes it richer.

Beyond the romance, what makes this book even more impactful is the way it concludes the stories of Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen. And I use "concludes" loosely, because there were so many cameos from characters in previous books. But what truly made this series special was seeing the depth of Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen’s friendship. In This Could Be Us, Hendrix was Soledad’s rock. She showed up in every way, supporting Soledad through one of the hardest times in her life. That was when I fell in love with Hendrix. And now, we see that friendship returned tenfold. Soledad and Yasmen show up for Hendrix. She’s always been the strong, independent one, but here, she lets them support her, and all the independent girlies need to see that. Their friendship is everything. To quote Before I Let Go, "There aren't enough sonnets for friendship...When lovers come and go, friends are the ones who remain. We are each other’s constants." This was the perfect send-off for them, and I know I’ll miss them—but not really, because I do plan to reread this constantly.

Spoiler Section

Alright, let’s get into it. From the jump, I was side-eyeing the fact that Maverick was tied to Hendrix’s new colleague. Her ex?? That’s a lot. And at first, I hated that she was caught in this situation—I wanted her to experience a love without complications. But halfway through, I realized how much I loved that Hendrix got to be chased. The way Maverick showed up for her, the way he refused to let her run, and the way he told her he wanted to worship her? Yeah. That’s the kind of romance I live for.

But honestly, the hardest parts of this book weren’t even about the love story—they were about Hendrix’s mom. Watching her slowly fade, seeing Hendrix try to hold everything together, was brutal. I had to take breaks while reading because it took me back to my own experiences with a loved one going through dementia. Kennedy Ryan doesn’t just tell us about grief—she puts us in it.

The moments where the church community stepped in, the way her friends and Maverick supported her? When he showed up at the hospital, I cried, because I just felt how much she needed him in that moment. It was heartbreaking and beautiful all at once.

And then we get the social justice aspect—Aspire’s lawsuit, the fight for equity, and the frustration of watching things fall apart. It felt too real. I immediately remembered seeing it on the news last year and being devastated about the outcome of the Fearless Fund. Kennedy Ryan mentions in the Author’s Note section that she purposely didn't resolve that case for Hendrix to note that those of us in marginalized communities still have battles to fight.

But like I said before, the most special part of this book and this series is the friendship, and Kennedy Ryan did not hold back on sending these three women off with a bang. I had a feeling Soledad would get a show and that would be what Hendrix got to produce, and that felt so right for them. I know I was reading and not watching a movie, but the image of the three of them on stage together at Soledad’s premiere was crystal clear in my head. The three of them, standing together, looking out at their families, was the wrap-up we all needed.

I honestly thought Mav would propose there, but of course, Hendrix would never take even a minute away from Soledad’s moment—even though we all know Soledad would have loved it. But the proposal at her new home, on the bench with both her parents' initials in the garden—a legacy from her grandmother—was absolutely perfect for Hendrix.

Is one else wondering if Lupe, Deja, and Mav's daughter Tamia will be the next series? I could see Kennedy Ryan doing a college series. What do you think?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Can't Get Enough is the third and final book in Kennedy Ryan's Skyland series. It releases May 13th of this year, but I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy - (thank you to NetGalley for my first ever ARC!).

I have absolutely ADORED this series and loved Hen's story in Can't Get Enough. These books have so much heart and character. The romance and spice are a wonderful part of each story, but I also love the attention given to the strength and importance of their friendships.

In the first two books, we see Hendrix as a funny, independent, ambitious and successful woman who is devoted to her friends and loves being the rich aunty. In her story, we get a deeper dive into her life to see how she balances a thriving career while caring for her mom who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

She's fiercely independent, but meets Mav, a compassionate and kind man who helps her find that sharing your life with the right person and "being good to each other" can be worthwhile.

I loved the care in which the storyline of Hen caring for her mom was told. It was heart wrenching but also beautiful. I loved how Hendrix was child free by choice and wasn't shamed for this decision, or made to change her mind when she met "the one." The book also contains a poignant commentary on the attacks against affirmative action, which are sadly so relevant in our current political climate.

I will definitely be rereading when the audiobook is available because if it's anything like the first books in the series, it will be absolute perfection.

This was fantastic and I highly recommend. All the stars.

Thanks to Forever Publishing and NeGallery for this ARC. Can't get Enough is the HIGHLY anticipated final book of the Skyland Series by Kennedy Ryan. This last book follows Hendrix, a woman with goals, dreams, ambitions, and who is also facing her toughest challenge caring for an aging parent. Maverick Bell is a charming billionaire that will ALWAYS find ways to get what he wants, enter Hendrix.

Let me start by saying that I am so sad I am saying goodbye to the girls from Skyland. Kennedy has created a world in which you don't only fall in love with the romance of her books, but also have no other option but to root for the individual characters's growth and development. I adored Hendrix in the first 2 books, and in her own story at times I could relate to her. Her determination and her goal getting mind will always be so powerful to me. The sad realities of taking care of aging parents that have deteriorating conditions like Alzheimer's was very well fleshed out and researched. Something that Kennedy does AMAZINGLY in all her books. When it comes to the mmc, Maverick was charming and very sexy. His chemistry with Hendrix was palpable and I honestly think they were perfect for each other. I swooned, cried and laugh while reading so that in itself is a win in my household.

With all that being said, the reason this book doesn't rank higher for me, is that I had some issues with the pacing and how the story played out. First (and without getting into any spoilers), I really don't like how Hendrix and Mav meet. Don't get me wrong, the meet-cute itself was not my problem, it was the situation around them. I understand that it gave the book the "forbidden" aspect but like it was mentioned several times in the book, they were grown adults that were free to do as they pleased. Idk I would've been better without the whole "ex" storyline. Their relationship to me had some pacing problems, at time "too fast" and in others "too slow". They barely had time together and yet it was too fast. Idk if I am making sense but that is how I felt while reading. It just didn't have the heart that the first 2 books in the series had, and I wanted more for my Girl Hendrix.

Still, like I mentioned before, I am going to miss them all. Seeing everyone together made my heart happy. I love everyone and their happy endings. Loved the consistency between all the books when it came to real female friendships, true soulmates and companions.

Thanks again for the E-ARC.
